GL WEEK OF APRIL 27, 2009 RECAPS
Week of Monday, April 27, 2009
Monday, April 27, 2009
In Orlando, Bill surprised Lizzie by taking her to the Universal Studios
amusement park, adding that they're going to act silly so Lizzie can have
the childhood she never had. They ran through the park. Bill demanded that
Lizzie take a load off and got a "stroller" for her. "I don't want you to
miss one stage of your childhood!" he grinned as he presented silly T-shirts
and hats for them to wear.
Mallet and Marina decorated for a party to celebrate Henry's adoption.
Everyone was invited. Remy, Christina and Ashlee encouraged Daisy to attend
the party. She was more interested in flirting with James, getting him to
cover her shift at Company (without his consent of course) while she
attended Henry's party. Alan arrived and looked on, horrified, as Daisy
instructed spoiled James how to take care of the restaurant. Meanwhile,
Mallet and Marina called Dinah with an invite. She and Shayne had just
returned to Springfield from Bosnia. Dinah was hesitant to go to the
Coopers; Shayne said they should. Later, Dinah and Shayne went to the store
to purchase a baby gift. Dinah ran into Remy, who as also on his way to the
party, and spilled the beans that there might be a problem with little
Henry's paternity, explaining what happened in Bosnia. When Shayne
approached, they quickly changed the subject.
Back at Universal, Bill and Lizzie stopped at the "kiddie" section of the
park; Lizzie refused to ride the roller coaster. So, they played several
other games, stopping for snacks, fake tattoos and photo ops as they
explored the park. Later, Bill answered Lizzie's phone and told Alan that
they're in Florida. After they hung up, Alan decided he needed to go to
Florida and find Lizzie "before we lose her for good." He did some quick
research about Universal Resort and told James that they're taking a
last-minute family trip; James wasn't thrilled. Meanwhile, Beth was served
with a court order evicting her from her room at the Beacon.
At the Coopers, Dinah admitted to Remy she doesn't know what to do about the
Henry situation as she watched Shayne happily play with the infant. Dinah
wondered if seeing Henry made him think about his own baby with Lara. "My
life is exactly how I want it to be. I wouldn't change a thing," he assured
her. Remy went upstairs to change Henry's diaper; Dinah followed and
expressed her worry about the situation, asking if he thinks she should tell
Shayne. Remy suggested she get a DNA test on the sly before confronting
Shayne. So, Dinah put a pacifier in the baby's mouth and then swiped it for
the test. Meanwhile, Marina and Shayne chatted over beers. Marina admitted
she has no regrets about taking on motherhood and admitted to blackmailing
the Child Services officer to have Henry's adoption case dropped.
At the Spaulding manse, Beth angrily confronted Alan for having her evicted
(and her belongings moved back to the mansion). He explained that he wants
Beth to come to Florida and bring Lizzie home; she agreed, only to make sure
Spaulding doesn't ruin Lizzie's life. "Are we taking the jet?" James asked.
"No, we're taking your mother's broom," Alan spat.
