Natalia was still upset that Rafe hadn't stopped by for his birthday. She let Emma blow out the candles on his cake instead. Olivia lovingly glanced at Natalia and smiled as she told Emma, "We've made our wish." Later, Nat reminisced about Rafe's past birthdays (and perfecting a sugar-free cake) with Liv, who reminded her she's a good mom, even if Rafe doesn't want to be in the same house with them because they're together. She advised Nat to be strong and find a way to bring Rafe back because the strain is thwarting their relationship. Liv left to take Emma to camp while Nat went on a job interview.

In Bosnia, Jeffrey and Dinah completed Lara's grave site switch. Dinah explained their plan as she spoke to the headstone and wondered if Lara would be okay with what they're doing to protect Shayne and Henry. After, Jeffrey told Dinah it's her turn to help out by luring Edmund out of hiding. Meanwhile, Shayne was asleep at the Beacon when he had another disturbing dream/vision of Lara in which she informed him that she's pregnant. When he brought up Henry, she was understandably confused. Then, he woke up in cold sweat.

At Company, Josh told Daisy to go visit Reva because she needs cheering up. Later, Nat ran into Frank who said he's having Rafe over for dinner to celebrate his birthday. Daisy pointed out that they're going to the movies together later. Nat thanked them for looking out for her son and left. Later, Shayne asked Josh about Reva. He said he'd rather his mom be ticked off at everyone than be thrown in jail again. Shayne offered to visit Reva, adding that he has a lot of free time on his hands with Dinah being out of town. "You might want to wear a cup," Josh cracked. He was telling Josh about his dream about Lara and their baby when Marina approached holding Henry.

Blake paid Reva a visit at Cross Creek. Reva was stressed out and bitter. Blake pointed out that La Shayne is being responsible by letting Lillian babysit Colin while she's having an emotional breakdown. Blake showed her support for Reva, who cried about her situation and demanded that Blake leave. Blake refused, however, and stuck around to make Reva some tea. Then the women bonded over losing their husbands. Blake brought up how she felt when Ross died but assured Reva that Jeffrey would return to her and baby Colin because he's not dead and he's a devoted husband and father. "Who would want to leave this?" she asked.

At Towers, Natalia told Blake about her botched job interview and groused about being miserable. Blake surprised Nat when she offered her a job as an assistant. Nat was thrilled and took the gig. Later, Nat met Olivia and Emma during their park renovation project for Emma's camp. Nat was excited about her new job with Blake. The women then laughed and flirted while planting flowers together. Later, Nat left another message for Rafe and said she doesn't know what else to do because she just wants him to be happy. "He's a big boy and will need to find his own way to be happy," Liv said. Nat wondered if she'd ever be able to make her situation with Olivia okay for both her and Rafe. Liv said she doesn't mind waiting; Nat declared that she's tired of waiting for everyone to accept them.

In Bosnia, Jeffrey used a disposable phone to send a text to Reva and told Dinah she's allowed to make one phone call, so she called Shayne and fibbed about the convention she's supposed to be attending. Shayne caught Dinah up on Springfield drama and told her about Jeffrey and about his recent Lara dream. Dinah promised to be home in a few days. "Good, because you're the one I want to be dreaming about," Shayne replied. Meanwhile, Daisy visited Reva. They were shocked when Reva got a text from Jeffrey asking her to keep the light on for him because he'll be coming home soon. Reva cried tears of joy and sighed in relief. She found the old lantern in the closet and was stunned to see Jeffrey's wedding ring attached to it. Daisy surmised that he must've wanted to keep something there to promise Reva he'll come home.

Back in Bosnia, Jeffrey told Dinah he wants to leak news about Lara being alive immediately so he can get home to Reva. Dinah concurred, adding that she's also giving up a lot to be there. They agreed to set their plan in motion.
