An impatient and eager Phillip got up bright and early to get started on the construction for Bill and Lizzie's house. He couldn't, however, rouse James from his slumber. Bill and Lizzie were woken up by Phil's hammering outside, before the construction crew even arrived. Bill went outside and asked Phil what he's up to. "My daughter's house needs fixing. I'm not leaving that to stranger!" he explained. Lizzie, meanwhile, called Beth and told her to come over and talk some sense into Phil.

On the other side of town, Olivia couldn't sleep and threw her bottle of medication across the room. At Company, Frank and Blake argued over napkins. There was a knock on the door and they opened up for Matt, who'd arrived early for a coffee fix before heading over to Bill and Lizzie's. Olivia also showed up and traded barbs with Blake. Liv pointed out that they can't be friends anymore because Blake helped Nat skip town. Meanwhile, Buzz broke into Cyrus's place and scared him. They got an early start on Jenna's project. Mel knocked on Remy's door, excited to tell him about her plan to save Cyrus by arresting him, having another inmate feed him key information about a wanted Chicago outfit and then strike a deal with the judge in exchange for Foley's freedom. Remy was wary about the plan but decided to help out his sis.

At the Quickmart, Christina poured a cup of joe for sleepy James, who refused to answer his phone or go help his dad out at the house. Meanwhile, Bill and Lizzie were overwhelmed by the big projects Phil was creating to complete the house. "I've got to make sure you're taken care of," he explained. Later, Phillip was intrigued when Beth arrived at the house with Matt and asked Lizzie if they're dating. Phil dutifully assigned projects for everyone who showed up to help and got the scoop on the status of Matt's relationship with Vanessa from Bill. He confirmed that they're over but still great friends. So, later Phil intentionally had Matt assist Beth on numerous projects. She quickly realized what Phil was doing and told him to back off. Phil was pleased when James finally arrived and demanded that he stick around to help with the rest of the family. They argued and Phil lost his temper; Matt calmed everyone down and handed James a shovel. The duo clashed again later. Everyone watched in shock. After, they all decided to take a break. Matt asked Beth out for coffee.

Back at Company, Frank grew increasingly irritated while watching Buzz and Cyrus work together on Coop's manuscript. Later, Mel, Christina and Remy arrived to arrest Cyrus for the Towers break in. Remy stormed in and handcuffed Foley. Buzz protested, adding that he broke in too because they were doing research on Jenna. Remy explained he's taking Cyrus in because he violated his probation. He locked him up in jail, where Mel arrived to inform Cyrus that she's his attorney. They flirted and Mel got the charges dropped. He was pleased. When Cyrus informed her that he doesn't have any money, she smirked, "Oh, really? Well, you'll pay."

Outside of Company, Frank advised Olivia to let Nat go, adding that she's gone and probably not coming back. Then he asked Liv if she ever considered that she's the reason Nat left in the first place. Later, Blake informed Cyrus that Coop's manuscript is incredible and could bring in big bucks for the Cooper clan if it gets published. Frank worried to Blake that Buzz is going to get hurt. "When do I get someone to love?" he asked. "Your time will come," Blake smiled.

Blake looked through Coop's manuscript and said she's going to call Ashlee to do a read on it, adding that it could be a great book.... Remy and Christina went home and fell into a kiss.... After everyone left their house, Bill and Lizzie had sex.... Beth and Matt had coffee. He assured her that things will work out between James and Phil.... Phil and Olivia groused about their situations to each other. They both agreed they're not the easiest people to love and wondered when others will ever just accept them for who they are.
