Adriana called it quits with Rex. Adriana said she couldn't forget what Rex did to Tate. "It's not like I'm an ax murderer," he quipped. Rex promised to leave Tate alone. "What are my options," he asked. "Am I forgivable?" "Consider this the shortest break up in history," she smiled, but Adriana wouldn't agree to go home with him that night.

Matthew told Bo he couldn't find Nora. Bo called Nora and Evangeline, but neither answered their cells. Lindsay tried to open the door to Cris's loft, but a mysterious person bonked her on the head and knocked her out. Meanwhile, we saw Nora, Evangeline, Talia and Cristian unconscious on the floor of Cris' studio/loft. One of Bo's guys said that a call had come in from Vegas's loft; Bo and his men broke into the loft and found everyone barely alive. Evangeline was the most seriously injured. The paramedics arrived with stretchers and everyone was rushed to the hospital. Bo and his men headed out to find the source of the gas leak. "It's the arsonist," Talia said. "He's raising the stakes."

Michael assured Viki that if there was a donor match out there for Jessica, they would find it. Miles arrived at the hospital and thought that as Jess' uncle, he might be a match. "She's already got Laurence blood in her, she doesn't need any more," Dorian sniped. Clint almost rolled his eyes, but thought better of it under the circumstances. "Dorian, that is uncalled for," Clint said. "I'm not my brother," Miles reminded them. Dorian went off on Miles and his involvement with Todd's disappearance. Clint told Dorian to stop and she stormed off. Natalie asked Clint, "Is mom okay?" Viki looked very much not okay. Viki begged Dorian to take her blood to be tested. At first Dorian refused, "You could die." Viki replied that she'd had a long happy life and that Jessica was just starting hers. Viki reminded Dorian that if it was Cassie or Adriana she'd do the same thing. "Come with me," Dorian said and the two women slipped off to some secret room in the hospital and Dorian took some blood. However, Dorian wouldn't be doing any underground illegal surgeries. Michael reminded Viki that she needed to take care of herself and should be resting. Dorian expressed some concern for Nash. Natalie didn't see why they should care about Nash. Clint was surprised at Natalie's apparent coldness toward Nash.

Antonio held Jessica's hand. "No bad thoughts," he said. Jessica told Antonio that she and Nash needed to talk about Bree. When they were alone Jessica whispered, "We have to tell them about us." Nash didn't think now was a good time, but Jessica insisted. "I can't ask him to go through this with me, it's too much," she said. Nash thought Jessica needed to get stronger. "Then we'll tell him together," Nash promised. Jessica insisted on telling Antonio alone. "Time's up Nash," Antonio said when he returned to his wife's bedside. The two men exchanged glaring looks when they crossed paths. "I have to talk to you," Jessica wept. "Now you are scaring me," Antonio replied. "Please don't hate me," she began. She began to apologize, then said, "I'm in love with Nash."

Miles ran into Jordan at Rodis and asked her for advice. She suggested that Miles play the hero for the woman he wants to impress. (That would be Marty.) "But she's not in danger," Miles said. "Technicalities," she laughed.

Nash, Antonio and the rest of Jessica's family were stunned with her diagnosis of liver cancer. A devastated Viki hugged Jessica, holding back tears. "You can beat this Jessie, I know you can," she said. Antonio assured her they'd fight this together. Michael made things worse with news that the cancer was advanced and he wasn't sure they could beat it. Antonio said he wanted a second opinion. Michael added that the only way Jessica could be helped was with an organ transplant. Viki assured her they could find a donor, but Michael gave them sobering facts about the donor list. "I could die long before my name makes the top of that list," Jessica said. Michael added that the liver is extremely regenerative, so they could do a living donor transplant. Viki wanted to be tested to see if she was a match, but she couldn't be because of her history of health problems. (She herself had had a heart transplant and breast cancer.) Everyone else immediately made plans to get tested. Viki wept with Jessica. Viki assured her daughter that she'd have a long happy life with Bree, Antonio and Jamie. "Oh, Mom, there's something I have to tell you about that," Jessica said. Uh-oh. Antonio promised Jessica a long and happy future. Jessica looked quite concerned. Thanks to Nash, Michael brought in little baby Bree in to see her mommy. Jessica cried tears of joy. Antonio reminded Nash that he was Jess's husband and he'd do anything to see her get well.

Paige told Dorian and Nash that without a healthy liver, "Jessica won't survive." Nash rushed up to see Jessica but Paige and Dorian reminded him that the family was just digesting the news. Dorian offered her support but Nash was in his own world. Dorian reminded Nash that he would have to be there for baby Bree. Nash told Clint he wanted to see Jessica immediately, and headed up to he hospital room. A confused and distraught Clint shared his pain with Dorian. Dorian said she'd be tested to see if she was a match. Clint seemed very touched by that gesture and the two cuddled on the bench.

Rex wanted to leave Rodi's when he saw Tate with Adriana. Rex asked Adriana if they were sleeping together yet. Tate told Rex to show more respect. Adriana and Rex stopped fighting for a moment to hear Tate tell the father of a young fan that he hoped he wouldn't become as narrow-minded as the father was. (The father criticized Tate for having kept quiet about being gay. Tate said though his sports stats were public knowledge his private life wasn't.) Rex and Adriana listened and were impressed with Tate's candor and guts. Rex tried to convince her to come home with him, but Adriana refused.

Nora and Talia showed up at Cristian's ransacked loft, where he was with Evangeline. One Pure People had hit again. "Impure blood will be eliminated," the note on one of Cris' destroyed paintings read. Meanwhile, outside of a building, viewers saw a man taping up a door, turning on the carbon monoxide and running it through a fan. Moments later, Talia, Cris, Evangeline and Nora were lying unconscious on the floor of Cris' loft.

Bo and Blair listened to the tape that had been found in the Chicago apartment where Todd had last been seen. Blair wondered if the baby crying on the tape could be Todd's son. Bo reminded Blair that he doesn't take Todd's disappearance lightly and resented her implication that he wasn't doing his all to find him. Blair put an notice in the paper offering a $2 million reward for info regarding Todd's whereabouts. As Blair left Rodi's she heard baby Tommy softly crying, and she thought those cries sounded familiar.

Starr refused to sing in front of Dorian. Dorian tried to convince her niece that no boy was worth all this trouble. "Like you are one to talk," Starr replied. She then told Langston all about Dorian's love life, past and present. Langston was impressed and took notes for the play she is writing. Starr told Langston she had gone between first and second base with Cole. Langston urged Starr to tell Cole how she still feels about him. Starr reminded Langston that her parents have forbidden her to see Cole.

Brittany asked Cole if he thought it would be tough for Cole and Starr to be in the same musical. Cole reminded Brit that as they were almost killed in a car accident, he wondered why she was doing something so trivial as gossiping about his love life. Cole began to explain why everyone hates her. Brittany was quite aware that she has no friends and promptly asked Cole to be her new friend. He said that was okay. Brittany got a call on her cell that upset her; Henry's parents wanted to talk to her. Brittany grew more and more agitated. Cole calmed her down and said maybe she could help Henry's parents figure things out. "You really are a shrink's son," she smiled. Cole promised to stay by Brittany's side when she met with them. Langston had since showed up and observed the new bonding between Cole and Brit. She immediately call Starr. "I think they're on a date," she told her best friend.

Nash and Clint hovered around waiting for Jessica's test results. Talia let it slip to Antonio that Nash was with Jessica. "Nash was with her?" Antonio asked. Enraged Antonio began to head upstairs. Talia prevented him from going. Antonio invited Talia to help him get Nash to leave the hospital. Viki and Natalie came to Jessica's room, followed quickly by Miles, who came with flowers. Miles and Natalie shared shy smiles. Miles learned about Jessica's condition. He referred to his relationship with Natalie as "being allies." Viki looked perplexed. Quick thinking Miles explained that he and Natalie had challenged John and Marty to a game of foosball.

Talia agreed to go with Antonio but she would do the talking to Nash. At that moment, Nash and Clint came into the waiting room. A barely conscious Jessica kept asking for Nash. Antonio accused Nash of wanting to hurt Jessica. Nash challenged Antonio to ask Jessica why he was staying at the hospital. Paige and Michael arrived with the results of Jessica's biopsy. Antonio didn't want Nash in Jessica's hospital room when she got the news. Antonio and Nash grew angry at each other. Antonio reminded the group that he is Jessica's husband. Paige said she was going to defer to Antonio. "I'm sorry Nash, that's the way it has to be," she said. Clint decided that Paige would stay with Nash and she would tell him the results. Clint, Antonio, Viki, Natalie headed into Jessica's room. Jessica looked around for Nash but said nothing. Michael told them that Jessica had liver cancer.

John suggested to Marty that she keep a pad by her bed so she could jot down details of these dreams that were haunting her. She then flashed to a pair of hospital scissors and began to wobble. Marty explained, "I don't feel right in the head." John sat Marty down in his office and got her some water. She looked at Spencer's file again, got jittery and ran out of John's office. John noticed that she had looked at the bloodied scissors. Marty returned to John's office. John knew she had had another panic attack and suggested she see a real doctor. Marty said she just hadn't eaten, but John didn't believe her. "I'm not buying it," he said. John asked her why the crime scenes photos set her off. John told Marty that she had to figure out a way to get Spencer out of her head.

Cristian started painting again. The inspired artist called up Lindsay, said he was on to some new technique and asked her to come over right away. Lindsay loved the new style. "Different, very different from your earlier work," she said. Cris and Lindsay headed to Capricorn and had an awkward moment with Evangeline, Layla and Vincent. Cris and Evangeline headed back to his studio to find it completely ransacked.

Michael ran into Evangeline at Rodi's, where he and Marcie were about to enjoy a rare night out. Michael asked Evangeline if she had heard from Todd. She hadn't. Michael wondered why Todd had been in Chicago (as if he really didn't know). Evangeline asked Marcie why Michael would be looking for Todd. Meanwhile Michael called Rex, worried that Todd might have found out "what we've been hiding." Marcie arrived at Michael's table just to overhear that bit of conversation. Marcie asked what Rex and Michael were hiding. Michael lied and said he had been aware of Rex's plan to out Tate. They began to argue and then changed the subject. Michael suggest they go to Llantano Mountain to make out.

Dorian asked Adriana why Rex had outed Tate on television. Adriana didn't want to talk about Rex. She thought the whole idea of outing someone was horrible. Tate joined them and said he could handle the press and the cancellation of his speaking engagements. However, Tate said that Rex was still investigating his life. Adriana said she'd try to get Rex to leave him alone. Tate left when he learned Rex was on his way over to meet Adriana.

Roxy tried to keep Rex from digging up details on Tate's life. Rex explained his desire to protect Adriana from Tate. Roxy didn't think Tate was dangerous. A narcissist perhaps, but not evil. Rex was convinced that his relationship with Adriana was still solid. Adriana text messaged Rex to come to Capricorn immediately. Rex headed to Capricorn. "What's up?" he said eagerly. Adriana asked Rex to stop investigating Tate or they would be over.

John interrupted a kiss between Natalie and Miles. John wanted to talk to Nat alone. John accused Natalie of kissing Miles just to make him jealous. John and Natalie bickered a bit. John didn't think he recognized her anymore. Natalie added that she didn't care. "I got my life back," she said. John admitted that the kiss did bother him a bit. John warned Natalie about Miles. "Watch your back," he said. "Not everyone is a bad guy," Natalie added.

Miles cornered Marty and asked her if seeing him kiss Natalie bothered her. "No. Why should it?" she said. Miles looked crestfallen. Marty reminded him that though she thinks of him as a friend, she doesn't think of Miles romantically. "This is not a rejection, Miles; don't take it as that," she said. Miles mentioned Spencer's name and Marty had a flashback to the photos of Spencer's murder scene. He was concerned that Marty didn't want to talk about it. John rejoined Marty at the bar and offered to drive her home.

Cole and Starr broke from a passionate kiss. Starr said it was too late for them ever to be together again. The two teens hid behind the piano as Marcie grabbed the sheet music. "I knew it. I should have stayed away from you," Starr told a disappointed Cole. Starr added that she didn't want to cause any more trouble for Blair because Todd was missing and he might even be dead. Cole accused Starr of not wanting to be with him. He began to ask Starr something but the teens were interrupted by Dorian. Cole left. Starr was upset that she had hurt Cole.

Brittany's parents reluctantly said she could be in the school musical. A visibly upset Brit grabbed a bottle of wine on her way out of the restaurant. Cole caught her as she was about to take a swig. "Brittany, big mistake," he said. Brittany explained to Cole that Henry's death in the car accident wasn't her fault. Cole agreed and added that Henry "had a lot worse problems than you."

Marty freaked when she looked at the photos in John's office on Spencer's murder. John saw her panicking and asked if she wanted to talk about it. Marty couldn't believe she had had a little panic attack. John asked her to join him at Rodi's for a burger.

Starr was flabbergasted to learn she had gotten the lead in the school musical and that Brittany would be her understudy. Cole listened in on Starr singing one of Langston's songs. Brittany was upset to see she had been cast as student #3 and Starr's understudy. Marcie thought Starr's singing was great. Cole made his presence known and also complimented Starr. The two lovesick teens kissed.

John and Natalie ran into each other in the park (where Natalie was babysitting Bree), and agreed that they would always love each other. John noticed that she was good with kids, adding he didn't think he would be that great with them. Natalie disagreed and reminded him that he was great with little Tommy. Miles showed up and visited with his baby niece. He told Natalie that he felt responsible for Todd's disappearance and sincerely hoped that Todd wasn't dead. Miles added that he had lied to this woman he's interested in by telling her that he had a date. Natalie suggested they go to Rodi's for a burger and then Miles wouldn't have lied. Miles and Natalie noticed that Marty and John were there and clearly together. In an attempt to make Marty and John jealous, Natalie began kissing Miles. Marty and John noticed.

Jessica told Nash that she hates the memory of Tess taking drugs. Nash assured her that nothing that happened in the past could affect the way he feels about her now. Nash hid for a second behind the door when Paige and Bo came to see Jessica. When they left, Nash cuddled with Jessica and made it clear he planned to spend the night.
