OLTL Recaps Week of June 25, 2007Friday, June 29, 2007 Bringing some take-out to a hungry Adriana, Tate walked in just as a reporter arrived to interview Adriana about Kirk's affect on her relationship with Tate. The spokesmodel praised Adriana to the reporter for her unwavering support of him. "Isn't every crime a hate crime?" mused a suspicious-looking Tate, who tried to explain to Adriana that all people are racist in some way. Adriana, confused at Tate's suggestion, agreed, but insisted that she gives everyone a chance before she makes a judgment. Adriana told Tate about Rex's worries about her safety, and Tate suggested that Adriana was over Rex more than she thought. Adriana told him that she wanted to take things slowly and assured him that he'd still be the spokesperson for Exposed even though he lost his job at the TV network. John continued to threaten Miles, who threw threats right back at him. A frustrated Marty said that since she still wasn't arrested for Spencer's murder, she was still making her own choices. Miles, despite recent events, still proclaimed the love that supposedly united them in marriage, and Marty told John that she intended to stay married to Miles. She then told Miles that she wanted to speak with John alone, before telling John that she was doing what she had to do. "There are things that you don't know," said Marty, who explained to John that Cole is her priority. Marty said that the CAT scan results showed that she suffered from a head trauma five months ago, but the radiologist said that she'll probably never recover her memory. John asked Marty to spend the night at his place so she wouldn't have to spend the night with Miles. Blair was devastated to find an empty bed where Todd should have been, but her hope was quickly renewed as she spotted the Mystery Girl. Rex immediately identified the girl as Sarah Roberts, who insisted that "Flash went out with my old life," before saying she didn't know where her Uncle Todd was. Sarah told Blair everything she knew about Todd, denying any connections to the stabbing and blaming everything on Hunter, who she claimed she was about to dump. A desperate Blair didn't want to hear any of this and demanded concrete answers from Sarah. According to Sarah, Hunter knew that she was up to something, so he left her on the subway and took Todd's body before she got back to the apartment. Sarah insisted that she didn't know who Miles Laurence is. She also insisted that Todd heard her when she told him to hold on, that Blair is waiting for him. Blair told Sarah to call Hunter and ask him where Todd is, but Hunter was too busy dropping Todd's body off with a shocked Miles in Llanview to answer the call.
Lindsay made it clear to Bo that she was thankful for his company, and that she feels closer to him since Jen's death. Bo assured Lindsay that
"she's not the same woman he met so many years ago." "There are still some things that I just can't talk about," said a teary-eyed Lindsay
after Bo left.
Thursday, June 28, 2007 Viki walked in on a shirtless David still dripping from the shower. She begged him to put a robe on. David accused Viki of having a hang-up about the naked body. Not so, Viki claimed, though she was clearly uncomfortable with David in only a towel. Naturally the topic of Dorian came up and David said he blamed Dorian for his recent loss of $10 million. Viki wanted David to leave, if not the house, then at least her bedroom. She got a call from Clint giving her the heads up that Dorian was heading over. Viki and David immediately hopped into bed. Dorian walked in on David kissing Viki and practically fell to the floor. John told Miles his marriage to Marty is over. "I know all about you," John said ominously. Natalie interrupted and asked John to leave Miles alone. Miles assured Natalie that everything was okay. Natalie left. John wondered if Miles was holding something over Natalie as well. John insisted Miles get the marriage annulled immediately. He let Miles know he knows all about Marty's therapy session tape. Miles insisted it was Marty's idea to get married. "Maybe she loves me," Miles said. "Good one," was John's reply. "It's her word against mine. Who are people going to believe, a simpleton or a murderer?" Miles asked. Miles placed a call to Bo telling him he had some important news for him about Spencer Truman's murder. MG assured Hunter that Todd was alive, albeit barely. MG wanted to get Hunter out of the apartment, so the coast would be clear when Blair arrived. She and Hunter headed out to the movies just in time. Rex, Blair and Cristian let themselves into the apartment. Blair headed for the bedroom. "No, no!" she cried, looking at Todd's bed. Clint accused Dorian of being jealous of the current Viki and David cohabitation. Dorian laughed that off, but added she wanted to nip any possible David/Viki relationship in the bud. Clint tried to stop Dorian from rushing over to Viki's. He pointed out that Dorian's reaction was exactly what David and Viki wanted. Clint continued to beg Dorian not to go. "You compromise our relationship when you lower yourself to this kind of behavior," Clint said. "Why does our happiness always take a back seat to your relationship with Viki?" He wondered if their relationship would ever work if Dorian couldn't distance herself from his ex. Dorian pledged her love to Clint but had to slip out to go to Viki's and check out what was happening over there with David. Bo helped Lindsay put Tommy down for his nap. He admitted he missed out on a lot of the growing up of his sons Drew (now deceased) and Matthew. Lindsay brought up the subject of Drew and her late daughter Jen and asked how Bo seems to be able to cope. Bo said accepting the loss of a child doesn't get easier. He hugged her, and then the two shared a glass of wine. Lindsay was about to say something important when Bo's cell phone rang.
Wednesday, June 27, 2007 Over beers, Natalie asked Vincent if he might want to go out with her. Vincent said that a while ago he would have said yes, but he was reconnecting with Layla. Vincent didn't say they were back together, but "we may be getting there." He and Natalie agreed to be friends and hugged at the very moment Layla walked in. Tate visited Kirk in jail. "You didn't have to do this, Dad. I had everything under control," Tate said. Tate wanted to make sure "taking the rap for me is the last stupid thing you do." Kirk asked Tate to stop his bad behavior now. He pointed out that the camp in Wyoming had changed him. "I've heard it a million times. I'm sick of it," Tate said. It was quite clear that Tate, not Kirk, was behind the arsonist attacks. Kirk tried to get through to his son about his beliefs. Tate went on and on about "real Americans" and Kirk countered by calling Tate and the OPP thugs. Tate refused to listen and insisted he was doing good. Kirk reminded Tate that "I did this to protect you," and told his son that if anyone else was hurt, he'd tell the truth. Kirk asked, "How does Adriana fit in all of this?" "That's none of your business," Tate said, and left the visiting area. Nora showed up and began to lecture Kirk. "How could you try to take other people's children away from them?" she asked. Kirk remained silent. Nora insisted that what Kirk was doing was destroying Tate. "Losing my son is the greatest loss of my life, more than you know," he replied. "You make me sick," Nora said as she left. Earlier, With John by her side, Marty continued to relive the night Spencer was murdered. "Maybe you are right. Maybe I didn't kill Spencer," she said, eyes wide open. Marty remembered seeing Spencer alive and then going to another, smaller room, one with a bunk bed and scrubs hanging on the walls. They entered the on-call room for the ICU, and Marty confirmed that was the room she had been sleeping in. She recalled waking up with a headache. "Someone knocked you out and we have to figure out why," John said. Marty remembered walking out of the on-call room, getting a text message from Cole. "While you were out in the car, someone was killing Truman. Do you have any idea who that might be?" John asked. Marty still didn't understand why John was doing all this for her. John just insisted she have her head injury checked out. Adriana told Layla about her run-in with Rex at Rodi's and that Rex is worried about her safety when she was around Tate. Tate dropped by as Layla left to visit Evangeline. "Her sister is in a coma because of my father," he said. Adriana comforted Tate with a hug. Tate looked quite creepy as he held her in his arms. He insisted his father was a marked man in prison.
Tuesday, June 26, 2007 Jessica looked at the divorce papers and told Nash she wished that she had been clearer about her feelings before she got married in the first place. Natalie came by and the two sisters talked about love and marriage. Jessica worried that she wasn't good at marriage, so perhaps she shouldn't risk it with Nash. Natalie reminded her that "things happen. People change." After some prodding from her sister, Jessica admitted she was very happy with Nash. Rex told Bo he was leaving town again to try to find Todd. He asked Bo to keep an eye on Adriana, because he still doesn't trust Tate. Lindsay came by Bo's office with a beautiful new photo of Matthew. She began to hang the photo on Bo's wall, but tripped and fell into his arms...right at the moment Paige entered the office. Lindsay excused herself and Paige commented that it was nice that Lindsay and Bo could be friends. The mayor called and told Bo to close the One Pure People case. Reluctantly, Bo did so. Marty and John retraced her steps in the hospital from the night of Spencer's murder. She feared that she might remember every detail of killing him. John encouraged Marty to relive that night, so she began talking. She remembered seeing two people — Paige and Rex. Marty remembered heading to Blair's room via the stairs and recalled phoning John. John brought her to the room that had been Blair's and asked her to try to imagine what it looked like that night. Marty recreated the scene verbally. She remembered hearing Spencer. "Oh, my God," she said. "I remember." Adriana said that all the blogs and news reports make Tate look guilty of being a racist by association with his father. Tate didn't seem bothered by these reports and said that he, his publicist and his lawyer would take care of things. In the meantime, he apologized to Vincent on his father's behalf. Vincent wondered how Adriana and Layla's company might be affected by all this bad publicity around the Harmon name. At that moment, Tate gave Adriana his resignation as the spokesmodel for her lingerie company. Adriana refused to accept it. She pointed out to Vincent that if Tate was a racist, why would he be interested in her? "I'm not exactly white bread," she exclaimed. Tate told Adriana that once the dust settled he'd be making a "major play" for her. Rex came by Rodi's to say goodbye to Adriana. He asked her to please be careful, as he believes Tate wants to kill her. Adriana wasn't convinced. Rex clarified what he meant — he said that Kirk would never like his son to be involved with a Puerto Rican girl. He worried that something would happen and he wouldn't be able to protect her.
Monday, June 25, 2007 John showed Marty the tape he had gotten from Dr. Young. Marty confessed that Miles had blackmailed her into marriage. A very agitated Marty didn't want John to get hurt. John reminded her that he wasn't afraid of Miles. John played shrink and began to walk Marty through the night of Spencer's murder. Marty remembered she had been in the hospital lobby when she learned that Spencer had been murdered. John pointed out that Marty had two big blanks in what she remembered. Marty recalled she had gone to the hospital to talk to Blair about Starr. John forced Marty to think about stabbing Spencer over and over again. Mystery Girl (MG in further references) told a shocked Blair that Todd was with her and, "I'm the only one keeping him alive." Blair accused her of having stolen Todd's phone. "Either you believe me or you call me a prank caller and leave it at that," MG added. Blair begged her to drop Todd off at an emergency room. "Sorry, I don't think so. I'm not being arrested for something I didn't do," MG said, about to hang up. MG gave Blair the address in Chicago. "I'll see you when you get here." Click. MG hung up the phone just as Hunter walked in. He showed her a wad of money and began to make the moves on her. She pulled away. "There's a practically dead guy here," she said. "Then we'll do it in the shower," he suggested. MG told Todd to hang on when he whispered Blair's name. Blair and Cristian headed to Chicago. Elsewhere in Llanview, Rex was seen heading off to Chicago as well. Clint and Dorian came by Viki's bearing gifts for Jessica. Dorian had a special gift in mind. Viki said Jessica didn't need a private nurse at her house because Jessica went home with Nash. That was news to Clint, who hadn't gotten any of Viki's messages because he'd spent the night at Dorian's. Viki was annoyed that Dorian flaunted her romance with Clint but not annoyed enough to want to get into a real argument about it. Instead, she eagerly showed them the door. Surprise — David was there. "Viki, what's for dinner?" he asked. David explained that he was "free" and asked if he could stay in her guest house. Dorian was horrified that Viki would consider letting David stay. Knowing Dorian's ire at the idea, Viki delighted in inviting David to stay in the guest room right down the hall from hers.
