At Capricorn, Dorian was so excited to meet with her wedding planner, she greeted her with a welcome that combined several languages. David started to joke about the proceedings, but Kelly urged him to "sit back and shut up," and let Dorian go ahead with planning a big, splashy affair. His mood got even worse when Spencer showed up. The wedding planner tried to get the crew back to planning weddings. Meanwhile, Spencer and Kelly headed over to the bar to discuss Kelly's involvement in the hospital fundraisers. Kelly told Spence about her history with Ace; Spencer then mentioned that she look into trying some new advances in conception. Kelly was surprised that he knew about her fertility problems; Dr. Truman didn't say he'd snooped through her files, lying that Kevin had told him about them.... Dorian again tried to get David to discuss why he's so hostile to his brother, pointing out that the more he tells her to stay away from Spencer, the more curious she is to learn about him. She then admitted that she'd done some research on Spence and couldn't find anything shady. "He's absolutely perfect for Kelly," she said. David was furious that Dorian had gone against his wishes and done this.
Duke and Adriana returned to Llanview, where they hugged and cooed at each other. Duke filled in Adriana on the kidnapping of Natalie. Duke then enjoyed a reunion with Kevin, while Adriana surprised Dorian. Soon, Kevin and Duke joined them at Capricorn. Dorian went to introduce Adriana to Spencer, which left Kelly alone with Kevin. Kelly lashed out at Kev for allegedly blabbing about her fertility issues. "This is so over," she spat. She then agreed to go on a date with Dr. Truman — while Kevin was still standing there.
Evangeline returned to the spot where she'd almost been burned at the stake and found John poking through the rubble. Evangeline mused that deep down John wished that if one of the ladies had to be taken by the killer, he would've preferred if it had been Vangie. John tried to explain that it's not the choice that's tearing him up, but that he put Evangeline in danger in the first place. The exes then shared a kiss. "That doesn't solve anything - it is not enough!" a stunned Vangie told him. "That's why we broke up and we're going to stay that way." Evangeline then got back to business discussing her and Nat's abduction, noting that at one point she thought more than one person had taken them.
At the station, Roxy reamed out Bo for not being more diligent about finding Natalie, insisting that Bo didn't care about how she felt because he didn't really regard her as being Nat's mother. "I'm just as much her mother as Viki is!" she sobbed, as a concern Viki looked on. Roxy didn't understand why Vangie had been rescued; Bo explained how John had gotten to Natalie first because she was in worse shape, and when he went to get Vangie, Nat was taken by the killer. "She was just getting everything together," Roxy lamented. Viki comforted Roxy and promised she'd be there if Roxy needed anything. After, Rex thanked Viki for calming down his mom. Bo promised to call them if he hears anything. Later, Viki left the station and found Evangeline, still hurting from her encounter with John, crying. Vik held Vangie in her arms.... John informed Bo that the killer had an accomplice.... In a basement, the killer began reading aloud from a journal, then announced, "In high school, there wasn't a single clique that would accept me ... not even the Killing Club."
In N.Y.C., Tess stole a car from a new "friend," Nash. He managed to stop her and reclaim his vehicle. Never one to cry defeat, Tess hitched a ride with another stranger and ended up at a fancy party in the Hamptons (in a stunning home right on the beach). Who should happen to be there but Nash? "I love parties," she told him, "and I'm always up for a good time." Tess was intrigued that the bash had an oxygen bar ... and that Nash still wasn't falling for her act. She made her way out to the huge pool (where guests were playing with cool beach balls) and introduced herself to the party-giver Bruce. Bruce was stunned that a guy had actually turned Tess down. "You are officially the guest of honor," he stated. Nash demanded that she leave, but she refused, noting that Bruce wants her to stay. While Nash went to check out the oxygen bar, Tess picked up a wallet.

Todd arrived at Capricorn holding a note for Antonio from Jessica, but when Antonio started in with him, Todd considered withholding it. The men agreed that they dislike each other and Antonio lamented that Jess confided in Todd. Todd decided not to give him the note after all. "I want to know what you know about Jess," Antonio growled, grabbing Manning by the shoulder. Todd read the note to Antonio, which said not to come after her. Viki arrived just in time to learn about the note; both men insisted that Jessica sounded safe. Viki wasn't so sure: "Is there something going on with Jessica that you don't want me to know about?" she asked. Later, Todd asked Bo to put an APB out on Jessica. He offered to tell Bo the truth about what's going with Tess, but only if Bo kept it secret from Viki. Bo refused.... Antonio wondered if Jessica is testing him, but Viki didn't think so. She urged him to let Jess be, reminding him that Nat's in trouble, too.
Tess made her way to New York City. Taking a carriage ride in Central Park, she asked to be taken to someplace "fabulous." When she didn't have enough cash to pay the driver, he called her a "cheap, little tramp." Tess mused that she could bilk a "lonely executive having a liquid lunch," but then set her sights on the young man (sporting Don Johnson's best MIAMI VICE look) who pulled up to the curb in a fancy car. "Buy me lunch," Tess purred to the leisure-suited stranger. "Why would I do that?" he wondered. "Because you're cute and you're probably single," Tess replied, continuing to dig to see if he has a girlfriend. Tess became flummoxed when he turned her down. When he went inside, she told the valet that she's the stranger's wife so she could steal his car keys. The valet wouldn't bite, but when he turned his back, Tess snatched the keys and stole the car. Soon, the furious car owner returned and was horrified to learn she'd said she was his wife. Meantime, Tess enjoyed her joy ride through Central Park.
Marcie admitted to Viki that she regrets having written the Killing Club ... and that she and her friends had had their own "Killing Club" back in high school. Viki reamed out Marce for writing such a "barbaric" novel and for making up a story in which cheerleaders were burned. Vik demanded that Marcie do something to help find Natalie. "I am trying to make amends," Marcie sniffled. "Amends won't find Natalie," Viki snapped. "I'm not gonna say I'm sorry because I have done everything I can to make it right," Marcie told her. "I never in a million years..." "Thought you'd write a book that a sociopath would use for murder after murder after murder," Viki finished. After, John separately comforted the ladies. "She blames me for what happened. Do you?" Marcie asked him. "I blame myself," he told her. Meanwhile, the killer continued to go through Marcie's old journal.
At UltraViolet, Rex called a cop, "a pencil-pushing drunk," and insisted that the police find his sister. "I'm not raising my voice, I'm yelling!" he screamed. Lindsay arrived and tried to comfort Rex by urging him not to give up on her. Rex admitted that he thinks he got Natalie into the dangerous situation due to his plan to make it seem as if she were in danger so John would resuce her. "Every dirty, rotten thing I've done, Lindsay — it's all come home," he concluded. Rex believed that he deserved to have bad things happen to him, but Lindsay reminded him of his good qualities. Rex held back tears as she went on that nothing that's happened has been his fault. "There's a lot of evil in the world, and all we can do is do our best to fight it," she explained.
Bo urged Nora to get her feelings about Bo and Daniel out in the open. Nora informed him that things haven't gotten better since Daniel was arrested and that she had to take an HIV test. Bo assured her that she'd be okay, but Nora wasn't so sure. "You don't trust my instincts anymore?" he wondered. "I don't know what to trust anymore," she sighed. Bo asked if there was anything he could do, but Nora turned down his offer. "There's nothing anyone can do," she said. Later, Nora informed Bo that her test came back negative, but reminded him that she'd have to take more in the future just to be safe. The two bonded while discussing Matthew.

At St. Anne's, Todd warned the nuns that if Jessica/Tess escaped, she's dangerous. Meanwhile, Tess enjoyed a drink at a bar. "Good-bye, Jessica, I tried to cut you a deal and split our life 50/50 ... well, 60/40, but you turned me down," said Tess. Todd left frantic messages for Jessica and Tess, but refused to let the nuns call the cops, because he didn't want to upset Viki. Addie then informed Todd that she's seen Jessica and had shown her her scrapbook ... and that Jess had stolen Starr's report card. Todd concluded that Tess took it so she could forge the signatures; Addie described Tess's outfit to him. In the bar, Jessica slipped out of her pink ensemble into a hot red number, and flirted with a male patron. "Haven't I seen you in a movie?" he asked. "Oh, man, are you serious?" she retorted. "I'm the real thing." "Where have you been all my life?" he went on. "Sweetie, you couldn't even imagine," she told him. Jessica's voice pleaded with Tess to go home, "where it's safe." "It's never been safe at home," Tess snapped back. Soon, Tess's new friend passed out from the liquor; Tess stole his wallet. Todd called Blair, who urged him to get Kevin or Antonio to help him find Jess, but Todd refused.
A jumpy Kelly admitted to Blair that she's "starting to feel something" for a certain man. Blair just assumed that her cousin meant Kevin, but Kelly filled her in on her and Spencer's flirtation. Blair approved of her cousin dating someone so "handsome and sexy," and urged Kelly not to let Kevin get in the way. Blair made herself and Kelly some drinks so they could share some more girl talk. "I've forgotten what it's like to meet someone and get to know them and feel the butterflies," Kel confessed, adding that Kevin sometimes makes her feel that way, too. Later, Kelly confided in Addie on her man troubles.... In the hospital, Spencer looked through Kelly's files from a fertility clinic.
At Capricorn, Dorian and David toasted their new impending wedding date: August 19." I gladly accept the fact that you're Vickers and not Truman," she assured him. She then asked if there are any other Trumans she should be aware of. "Probably Harry S.," Dave cracked. The couple was soon interrupted by an angry Kevin, who alerted David to Spencer's interest in Kelly. "He's even more bad news than you are," Kev stated to a slightly-offended Vickers. David asked Kevin if the Buchanans could give Spence a grant to a far-away place. Meanwhile, Dor informed Spencer of her and David's upcoming nuptials. Soon, David cut in, insisting that he wanted his fiancée all to himself. David told Dorian that if she loves him she won't try to get the dirt on his past with Spencer. Dor explained that she doesn't want to get married if there are secrets between them. Meanwhile, Kevin told Spencer to stay away from Kelly, but Spencer wanted to "let the best man win." Dorian watched, pleased that Kevin would be upset if Spence dated Kelly. "If Kelly married Spencer, she wouldn't just be my niece, she'd be my sister-in-law," Dor enthused. David went to tell his brother to stay out of his life, while Dorian continued her quest to find out about Spencer.
John went to visit Evangeline in the hospital, but Lisa didn't think he should be welcome after rescuing Vangie second to Natalie. Vangie, however, invited him in. John began to question Evangeline about the killer, but she wanted to discuss his waffling between her and Natalie instead. "The killer forced you into a choice," she pointed out, adding that she doesn't fault his choice because Natalie probably would've died. John continued to quiz her about her ordeal, but Evangeline again stopped him. "I'm trying to thank you for saving my life, but all you can do is question me like I'm some random case?" she wondered. "Don't treat me that way." Evangeline related how she'd been snatched by the killer while she was waiting to get her award.... John departed from the hospital room and Vangie dissolved into tears. On his way out, John ran into his brother, who was working a shift. John tried to avoid letting Michael take care of his injury, but Mike insisted he do something. John then got a call from Marcie reporting that her Killing Club journal had been stolen ... as the KCK's gloved hands flipped through the tome, now in his/her possession.

David joined Dorian for some star watching outside by the pool. When Dorian asked where he'd been, he said that he was doing work for Craze, but Dor insisted that he was hiding something ... namely about his brother, Spencer. David pointed out how Dorian had kept a lot of her history involving Adriana secret. Dorian responded by wrapping her arms around her fiancĂ©. "I never want you out of my life again," she began. "Do you know what I missed most about you while I was gone?" "What? I have so many good attributes," David cracked. Dorian admitted that David's the only person she could've confided in about forging Viki's check from Llanview U. "I thought I knew your history — that is, until Spencer came to town," she explained. David filled her in on some of the scams he and Spencer used to pull. "My dad always said if they're stupid enough to fall for a con, they've got it coming. J.T. Truman — living with him made Paper Moon look like SESAME STREET," he sighed. Dave also confessed that he changed his name from Truman to Vickers years ago. Dorian annoyed him by calling him, "David Truman," but Dave insisted that he'd dropped "the life," and now had a legit job at Craze. "You're a con man," Dorian stated. "There's a difference between a garden-variety grifter and a true con man," he explained. "When I knew I was in love with you, I knew I could never be David Truman again." Later, Dorian apologized to Dave for making him talk about a subject that's painful for him. Instead, she got down on her knees (on a towel, natch) and asked David to marry her on August 19. "You came back into my life in August two years ago," she reminded him, as David also got down on his knees ... and pushed them both into the pool. After, the freezing duo, clad in terry-cloth robes, made plans to go upstairs, but not before Dorian called the family. Instead, Dorian went and called a source to get dirt on Spencer.
Spencer and Kelly (looking fab-u-lous in all black) enjoyed hanging out, but Kevin came by and interrupted them to give her an update on the Duke/Asa/Natalie situations. Kelly was furious with Kev for being rude to Spence, but Kevin retorted that Dr. Truman didn't care about their family. Kevin filled in Kelly on how Asa is claiming that Carlo was behind Blair's kidnapping earlier in the year, and how Carlo had thugs abduct Duke and Adriana. Kev assured Kelly that Duke is fine, but admitted that he doesn't know what he would've done if he'd lost Duke in addition to Ace. He recalled how after he gave Ace away, he'd gone driving and had only stopped because he'd seen Todd lying on the side of the road. "I might still be driving," he explained. "Don't pull away," he pleaded. "I don't want to lose anyone else. I can't do that. You're the love of my life." Kelly was touched to tears — more so when Kevin promised her that he's not going to run away again. "I've waited for you to say those words to me for so long, and they mean so much to me, but I don't want us to get back together because of Natalie or Duke or your mother or any of those reasons. I want it to be because of us," Kelly explained, pointing out that her pulling away had nothing to do with Spencer. "When you walked in, he was going to kiss me," she admitted. "You wanted him to," Kev half-stated, half-wondered. "I don't know," Kelly said. Kevin agreed that they shouldn't get back together for the wrong reason and left.
Viki showed up at the scene of the Evangeline/Natalie burning, and was horrified to hear that only Vangie had been found. John admitted that he doesn't know where Nat is. Bo tried to comfort Viki, to little avail. Meanwhile, Vangie was taken to the hospital suffering from minor injuries and smoke inhalation. Vangie removed her oxygen long enough to tell her mom that John had saved her life, but Lisa was horrified to learn that John rescued Natalie first. "If that doesn't tell you how John feels, nothing will," Lisa pointed out. John asked Marcie to look for her old Killing Club journals in her father's house. Marcie agreed to get them ASAP. Bo walked Viki home and refused to let her help find Natalie. Bo was alarmed when he heard a noise in the bushes, but it turned out to just be Spencer lurking around. Spencer offered to be there for Viki, but Bo was suspicious of Truman's intentions. Spence refused to discuss himself and Paige with Bo. "How come you always pop up at the right time?" Bo asked. In Llanfair, a tearful Viki poured through her photo album and prayed for the late Megan and Ben to watch over her family and keep them safe. "Help me be strong through this," she pleaded.

Marcie told Michael how her high school Killing Club had planned to burn the cheerleader at the stake. "That's sick," a disbelieving Mike told her, then remembered that she was just a high school outcast at the time she came up with the idea. "John will take of it, he'll come through," he assured her. Meanwhile, John went hunting for a missing Natalie and Evangeline, while the Killing Club Killer dressed them up in cheerleader uniforms and tied them to stakes, preparing to burn them. In the Love Center gym, the bound and gagged women struggled to get free as the flames licked at their feet, to no avail. John broke into the Love Center and found the women; a masked person ran off before John had a chance to catch the culprit. Inside, Vangie was still struggling, while Nat was unconscious; therefore, John first rescued Nat, who appeared to be in worse shape. He then lunged through the fire — in slo-mo, no less! — to free Evangeline. Unfortunately, a freed Natalie was nowhere to be found.
Kevin was horrified to hear from Asa that Duke and Adriana were taken hostage by Carlo's thugs. Asa explained that Duke and Adriana followed him to Argentina. A fight was about to ensue, but Bo urged them to keep calm so they could get to the bottom of things and find Duke. However, Kev lashed out at him. "Everything that's going on, you set in motion!" Kevin bellowed. "You'd better hope this doesn't cost Duke his life." After, Kevin questioned Carlo about Duke's whereabouts; Carlo said that he'll let the kids go if the cops give him immunity and get Asa to confess to trying to kill Blair. Asa agreed to it so Duke wouldn't be killed; Kevin was grateful that Asa would risk prison time to save his grandson. In Argentina, Adriana joked around as they tried to find an escape. Duke was impressed with her ability to stay calm and apologized for getting her involved. "There's no one else I'd rather be locked up with," she told him, then lashed out at him as part of their plan to dupe the thugs. "I can't stand another minute with this fool!" Adriana told the thugs, while Duke "fought" with her. In the melee, Adriana snatched one of the thugs's guns, and the duo tied up the henchmen. "My boss isn't going to be very happy about this Thug No. 1 whined. "Yeah, yeah, put a sock in it," Duke told him. Duke then called Asa to tell him that he and Adriana are al lright; Kevin was thrilled to hear his son's voice, while Asa gloated to Carlo that with Duke free, they had no deal.
In St. Anne's, a pink-clad Jessica argued with a blue fedora-wearin' Tess (Who knew fedoras were a sign of evil?). Tess offered to tell Jessica a secret and instructed Jessica to remember what it was like being a little girl living in her perfect family. "Your house was a house of lies," Tess pointed out. Jess begged her to stop ... and Tess managed to emerge and plotted to escape from the hospital. After, Tess distracted a nun and grabbed her keys, but Addie spied Tess about to leave and began to chat her up. Tess called Addie, "Eddie," and tried to turn down Addie's invite to work on a scrapbook. While Addie went on about Starr and Blair (and into great detail about Starr's report card, including where Blair and Todd had to sign it), Tess's eyes rolled so far back in her head, they practically fell out.
Viki begged Todd to tell her what's going on with Jessica, but Todd insisted he made Jess a promise to keep quiet. Viki pointed out that that logic wouldn't have flown when Starr was kidnapped, but he still refused. "If you don't tell me, I'm just gonna hound you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until you do!" she told him. "Where'd you learn how to fight dirty?" he wondered. Todd started to tell Vik the truth, but they were interrupted with a call from Bo about Natalie. Viki wanted to go after her, but Todd convinced her to stay put. "You should worry about yourself," he said, and went to make her tea. Of course, Viki took that moment to run down to the police scene. Todd then got a call from St. Anne's asking why he'd agreed to release Jessica.
