Evangeline, Kevin and Kelly met Todd at the courthouse for his arraignment. Kevin antagonized Todd as he was frog-marched into the courtroom. Evangeline took Kevin aside and asked him to not interfere. While they were talking, Kelly approached Todd and expressed her disgust and disappointment in him for killing his unborn child. She went a little overboard when she grabbed him and started screaming that he's a murderer and a rapist. Blair arrived at the courtroom with Spencer and told Kelly to stop freaking out. Blair threw a jab at Kelly by saying that she's just upset because she can never have a baby of her own. Spencer stepped in and told everyone to calm down so the justice system can run its course. When the proceedings got underway, the judge ruled that bail would be denied. After the court was dismissed, Blair remained frosty with Kelly, despite Kelly's attempt to mend fences.

Michael and Natalie met at John's place and both wondered where he was. Natalie said she was supposed to have dinner with John and that he never left a message to cancel. When she said she'd been feeling kind of down lately, Michael invited her to the diner with him. Before they left, Roxy dropped by, so Michael said he'd step out and bring food back for them. When alone, Roxy insinuated that Michael has the hots for Nat, but Natalie said he is just a friend, "and not even a very good one." Michael came back with the grub, and Roxy left. Natalie turned around and asked Michael if he was hitting on her. Michael told her that while he may have been slightly interested in her back last spring, that he definitely isn't now. "The truth is," he admitted, "I'm still in love with Marcie." Natalie told Michael to give Marcie some time. Then she said that she'd been sensing that John had something he needed to tell her. She seemed to convince herself that that was a good thing.

Everyone at the prison counted down the minutes to 7 p.m. when the breakout was scheduled to begin. Hayes knocked out a guard in one of the prison stairwells and took his rifle. He crawled through the ventilation shaft until he reached the warden's office.

John talked to the warden in his office and asked if they could put a wire on Cristian. The warden was reluctant but allowed it, assuming Cris approved. Just as a guard went to fetch Cris and bring him to the warden, Haskell cut the power in the prison, and the surprised guard left Cristian locked in his cell. John told the warden that he'd checked his gun and cell phone at the prison entrance. Meanwhile, prisoners started to riot while Carlo locked his sights on Cristian, who was still stuck in his cell. The warden grabbed a huge pistol out of a drawer, and he and John walked out into the prison. After just a few steps, Hayes shot the warden.

What book recommendation did Carlo make to Hayes before the prison riot?

Duke walked in on Kelly as she was changing. She tried to shoo him out and wound up falling on top of him. Kevin heard Kelly struggling so he busted in on the two of them and threw Duke off. As Duke iced a knot on his head, Kevin apologized saying he had no idea what was happening or who he was. Nevertheless, he wanted to hear why Duke was on top of Kelly when she was half naked. Duke stuttered trying to explain how he thought he was walking in on Adriana. After Duke left, Kelly told Kevin if she doesn't undergo Spencer's procedure that she'll never be happy. Kevin hung a "do not disturb" sign on the door, took off his jacket and suspenders and kissed Kelly.

Rex and Adriana made out at the docks, then stopped to talk about what was happening between them. Adriana tried to insinuate that it was Rex who wants more than just a friendship, while Rex reminded Adriana that it was she who shoved a tongue in his mouth. Adriana admitted that she liked Rex, but said she still has a boyfriend. Rex told her to decide which of the two guys she wants to be with. Duke walked up to them as they were arguing. Somehow Adriana managed to flip the blame on to Duke when he retold the story about his seeing Kelly half naked. She said he'd rather have sex with Kelly than with her and then asked Duke to leave. When alone with Rex, she told him that although she started to think maybe there was something more between them than friendship, that she was wrong and there was nothing at all. She left him alone at the docks.

John told Bo he's heading to the prison in the morning to talk to the warden about how to deal with Carlo. Bo tried to talk John into telling Natalie the truth about Cristian. He compared the situation to what happened between himself and Nora because of his keeping a secret about Daniel.

Clint dropped by the police station and offered to pay Nash's fine for fighting in the airport and then told Nash to stay away from Jessica. Nash told Clint he couldn't be bought and refused to accept the money.

Clint stopped in on Bo to talk about Jessica. He asked how long Bo has known about her DID. Bo apologized for not speaking up sooner. Clint said he wasn't there to guilt his brother but to just get as much information as he can.

Evangeline talked with Spencer at the hospital about Nora's condition. Spencer said he knew of an experimental treatment that might help her, but Paige stepped in and said she won't let that happen. Spencer told her not to dress him down, but Paige said she'll do whatever she likes in her hospital. Spencer informed Paige that he'd just coerced David into calling off the wedding to Dorian. He then warned Paige to consider the consequences before challenging his opinions in public.

Evangeline visited Nora. An apparition of Nora appeared and Evangeline told the vision that she's having a hard time keeping the secret about Cristian. Bo dropped in to visit Nora, and Evangeline cried to him that she wants her friend back.

Natalie talked to Jessica about her baby. Jessica said she's having the child regardless of how Tess fits in. Natalie asked her if she'd feel that way if she found out Nash was the father. Jessica said that by the time she has the baby she'll be well and better able to deal with everything. Jess said that now, however, she has to keep her guard up all the time or Tess would come out again. She told Natalie how Tess almost had the pregnancy aborted. Natalie told her to go back to sleep and that she'd watch out for her. As she walked out of Jess's bedroom, she opened the door to find Nash on the other side. She berated him for hovering over Jessica. Next, Clint walked up and told Nash to give Jessica some space. Nash apologized and got Clint to let him have a quick peak at Jessica when he went in to say good night to his daughter.

Cristian (looking more haggard by the day) got Angus to agree to get a note to Bo when he's released the next day.

Natalie went to John's apartment to clear her head. She sensed something was bothering John and asked him what it was. Instead of answering he threw her on the bed and took off her clothes.

Dorian blamed her wedding fiasco on Viki, who couldn't believe what she was hearing. Dorian soon retreated when Viki let her know that Jessica is suffering from DID. "That is why Clint is here, it's not about hurting you. My daughter is in agony and she's that way because of me." Viki and Dorian apologized to each other. Viki went upstairs to see Jessica and Dorian asked Clint if she could just sit on their couch and be alone for a while.

Duke ran into Ginger while trying to find Adriana. Ginger saw this as an opportunity to comfort Duke. However, Kelly jumped into that conversation. "Haven't you done enough Ginger." Ouch. Duke explained he had started the conversation with Ginger. But Kelly wasn't listening. "You are trying to worm your way into Duke's life," she snapped at Ginger. Duke told Kelly off and Ginger thanked him for doing that.

David told Spencer that since he's already lost everything (i.e. Dorian), Spencer should just go to the police and let them know that David had once shot and killed a man. Spencer just laughed when David accused him of being jealous. David added that Dorian would eventually understand why he did what he did. Kelly barged in, read David the riot act and said all she wanted was "to get out of this dress and forget this night ever happened." Kelly proceeded to do just that when Duke walked in to catch his once and future stepmother in her undies. (Important thing to note: Ginger sent Duke up there under the premise that Adriana was there, however Spencer knew that wasn't the case.)

Rex ran into a rather manic bridesmaid — Adriana — and tried to calm her down. Adriana, it seems, was angry at both her mother and Duke. After much self-analysis including such observations as, "Maybe I'm not good enough for Duke", Rex assured her she was more than just okay and comforted her with a hug and a big, long kiss.

Bo digested the news that John Doe really is Cristian and warned John that this bit of news could cause big problems in his relationships with Bo, Natalie and the Vegas. Bo added that John may have lost his girlfriend and his job all in the same night. John explained the whole scenario to Bo and why he kept quiet. Bo wondered why John was telling him now. John told Bo that Evangeline was working on getting Cris's conviction overturned and that Carlo was involved in a lot of this mess. Bo and John agreed that they had to protect Cristian.

An inmate named Angus Kelly put a note in Cris's pocket that read: "I have your information." Angus told Cristian everything he knew about "the plan". He warned that Hesser and his boys were going to, "shut this place down. It's going to be a dark day around here tomorrow." The dark cloud named Carlo interrupted them. "Any good prison gossip?" he asked, hanging all over Cris. Carlo assured Cris that if he interfered in any of his plans he wouldn't live past tomorrow night.

Dorian made the judge ask David a second time if he takes Dorian to be his wife. David again said no as Spencer smirked behind his back. Dorian was shocked. She couldn't understand how after all his begging for them to run off and elope David suddenly changed his mind. David told her that Spencer made him decide to cancel the nups. He explained it by saying that he's jealous of Spencer's money and success and that he'll never achieve it by riding Dorian's coattails. She told him that was ridiculous, apologized to the guests for the delay and said she needed to speak to David briefly in private. When alone, she explained to David that she has had her doubts in the past, too. "But now that the time as come and we're about to become husband and wife, I've never felt more certain about anything in my entire life," she said. David was crushed that he had to hurt Dorian, but he couldn't say anything to make her feel better. Dorian got choked up and asked what she's done to make him feel that way. David said it was nothing she's done, but something that he'd done in the past. "Nothing that you could ever say would make me believe that you've changed your mind," she told him. David teared up and urged Dorian to let him go because in the end she'll be glad she did. Dorian went back downstairs and announced to everyone that the wedding wasn't taking place. She asked them all to enjoy the wedding supper she had waiting for them and bid them farewell. When everyone left she trashed the altar a bit. "I am Dorian Lord," she said with a stiff upper lip, "and it isn't over until I say it's over."

Spencer walked in on David as he sat alone in his room. He told Spencer he just made him do the worst thing he's ever done. He swore on their mother's grave that he'd get back at Spencer.

Bo confronted John about his helping "John Doe." John said that there's a hit on the prisoner and he's just trying to stop it. "I'm sorry, but that's all I can tell you," John said. Bo said that doesn't fly if John's actions wind up getting the entire police department in trouble. "We can't make decisions on other people's lives even if we think it's the right thing to do," Bo told him. Bo formally warned John that if the department is left hung out to dry or someone he loves gets hurt, "Then I have to do what I have to do." John nodded and walked away.

In prison, Carlo pointed out to Cristian that if he were ever released that Cris's chances at exoneration would leave with him. He warned Cristian that he has a lot of people inside the prison on his payroll and that he won't let Cristian get in his way. After Carlo walked away, Cristian bumped into Hayes. When asked, Hayes admitted he works with Carlo. Cristian threatened to kill Hayes unless he tells him what Carlo's plan is, and Hayes eventually said he'd spill.

Blair overheard Hugh saying that Todd's was an open-and-shut murder case and that he'll do everything he can to make sure he gets the death penalty. Next, Blair visited Todd in his cell and chastised him for running off. He said he left her a note, but Blair said she never found it. Despite all Todd's lies, Blair said she still believes that he didn't kill Margaret. She made Todd promise to tell the truth from now on. "If I tell you another lie, we're finished," Todd answered. "That's clear." Blair got Todd to admit that Margaret called him on the evening she died and asked him to meet her at the lake. When she asked why he didn't just call the police, Todd said he didn't want her in jail — he wanted her dead. He told Blair that he brought a gun to the lake that night and wanted to kill her, but before he could finish explaining a guard told Blair her time was up and took her away.

John went to a church and had a flashback of talking to his father. Then he told a priest about his predicament with Natalie and how she will eventually leave him when she finds out he kept Cristian secret from her. The priest told him the answer to his problem was simple: "Do what's best for her. Do you know what that is?" John said he did. He went back to the police station and told Bo that John Doe is in fact Cristian and asked for his help.

Natalie laid into Evangeline again about her defending Cristian. Evangeline again hinted that it was for Nat's own good, but wouldn't answer when asked exactly how.

Under hypnosis, Tess emerged and told Viki, Clint and Dr. Jamison that she would only talk to Niki Smith. Viki seemed okay with the idea, but Clint forbade it, reminding Viki how Niki pushed Ben out of a window the last time she came out. "What I can't do is let you risk your sanity," Clint urged. "There's got to be another way." Natalie showed up at Llanfair where Antonio and Nash were waiting just outside Jessica's hypnotism session. Natalie told Nash to leave, but he refused. Back in the session, Dr. Jamison put Viki under hypnosis and Niki appeared to have emerged. But when Tess asked her a couple of questions about Niki's favorite bars, she made a mistake answering and Tess realized that Viki was just pretending to be Niki. Tess tried to storm out of the session, but Dr. Jamison stopped her by snapping his fingers, ending the hypnosis and bringing Jessica back. Viki and Clint told Jessica that Tess asked to talk to Niki. They all walked out of the room together and Clint and Viki asked Antonio and Nash to leave while Natalie took Jessica upstairs for some rest. Viki told Clint that bringing Niki out was the only hope to help Jessica, but Clint still refused to agree with that plan.

Todd sat in Bo's office and asked if he could make his one phone call. He called Evangeline to the station to represent him. When she got there she asked Todd directly whether he was guilty, saying that she cannot defend him if he's done what he's accused of. Todd again insisted on his innocence. "If I find out you did this, I will personally take everything I have to the prosecution to help them convict you," Evangeline said, before agreeing to be his attorney.

Starr approached David at his wedding and asked if he knew whether Todd killed Margaret. David didn't answer directly, but asked Starr if she really thinks her father is capable of doing that. Starr didn't seem sure.

Later, Starr and Blair bumped into Ginger, who was working as a server at the wedding venue. They were both pretty nasty to her. When they were done, Duke walked up and put his arm around Ginger to comfort her. Adriana saw it.

Duke asked Kevin if he has a problem with how close he and Kelly are.

Kelly arrived at Dorian's dressing room to help her prepare for her wedding. Dorian was outraged that Viki, her matron of honor, wasn't there. Adriana showed up next, angry that she got a speeding ticket on her way over. Dorian lamented that Blair couldn't be there on her big day. But then, when Dorian put on her dress and prepared to go down the aisle, Spencer brought Blair over in time to be part of the processional. Kelly took the opportunity to tell Spencer she would call him to set up a time for her procedure. Dorian casually cleared the room by asking each of the girls to go do her a favor. When alone with Spencer, she again threatened to reveal his secret agenda with the Buchanans if he does the procedure on Kelly. She also warned him to stay way from Blair. Spencer smirked and walked out. When the girls got back, they toasted Dorian's marriage and thanked her for looking out for them.

Spencer told David that he was going to help him punish Dorian by canceling the wedding, and that if he refused, he would be "as good as dead." Just then, the bridal march began and Dorian walked out. When the wedding officiant asked David if he would take Dorian as his wife, David shocked everyone by answering no. "I'm sorry," he told his wife-not-to-be. "I can't do this."
