Rex gave Natalie information on Vince Jones. John interupted so Rex and Natalie did some quick cover-up chatter so John wouldn't catch on. John asked how Jessica was doing. Natalie said the family felt pretty hopeless. John suggested they just love her. Rex warned Natalie to be careful on her trip to Atlantic City.

Bo organized his men to head up to where they think Todd is hiding out but told the cops "no shooting" until under direct orders from him.

Spencer ran into Starr at the hospital. She was there to see Nora and had heard Matthew call Spencer his hero. Starr agreed that Spencer had been good to her and that Jack seemed to like him. Spencer assured her that he would never try to take Todd's place. He added that her mother needs a friend and that he wants to be there for her, as he's sure Starr and Jack want to be there for her as well. Spencer said she could always come to him. Starr then overheard Ricky beg a doctor for medication for his kid sister. "You could help if you wanted to," he cried. Ricky turned and saw Starr sitting there. Starr offered to help him get medication for his sister, but he refused and left.

Blair caught David sneaking around Spencer's room, hunting for information on Thailand. David tried to warn Blair about an involvement with Spencer, that it wasn't a good idea. David explained that Spencer had worked to get her right in this place. Before David left, he made sure the door wouldn't lock behind him. David asked Blair not to tell Spencer he had been there. Spencer accused Blair of believing what David allegedly said about him. Blair assured him that that was not the case and that she chose him, not Todd. The kissing began.

David ran into a colleague of Spencer's and pumped him for information about the time Spencer had recently spent in Thailand.

Evangeline ran into Cris at the hospital. She hoped to get some dirt on Spencer. Cris was there for a checkup on his hand and he had been warned not to fight for at least month. Cris decided it would be a week. Evangeline told Cris in no uncertain terms that whatever she was doing with Todd (say for example she was hding him), was none of Cris' business. Cris said, oh no, it was his business because he cares about her. This charming conversation was interrupted when Rex phoned Evangeline telling her that the police had located Todd and were going up to arrest him. Evangeline frantically tried to call Todd, who wasn't picking up the phone. Cris tried to keep her from running up to warn Todd. Bo saw Todd through the window. Todd was aware there was someone outside the door. Rex arrived at the stakeout. Cris grabbed Evangeline to keep her from going up to Todd. Todd hid among the boxes (with a gun) as Bo yelled, "Stop, Manning. It's over."

John had an appointment with Dr. Crosby; John thought he could use his help. John reported on having met Dr. Snyder and added that he didn't like pulling all these people into the investigation ie: Michael, Natalie. Crosby assured him that his father would never have held him responsible for his death. "All these years you have living with terrible guilt and your memory has mistinterpreted what happened that night, to torture yourself," Crosby tried to explain.

Starr came up with an idea to ask Spencer Truman to help Ricky get the medication. To that end, she headed to his hotel room and knocked on the door. As the door was unlocked (thank you David) she walked right in ON HER MOTHER ON THE FLOOR WITH DR. TRUMAN.

Rex came to Bo with his worries about Natalie. Bo admitted she had a lot on her plate: school, work, Jessica and, as Rex chimed in, "the McBain factor." Bo thought that because there was "the McBain factor" is was probably a good thing she was back in school.

Evangeline was somewhat surprised, make that annoyed, that Todd had met with David Vickers. "How can you bring someone else into this mess?" she asked. Todd alluded to the fact that David had proof that Spencer killed Margaret, and that David would get it "by any means neccessary." Evangeline told Todd she wouldn't be able to visit him anymore. Later Evangeline was annoyed, ever more so, when Todd informed her that Rex also knew where he was, but Todd added that he could be trusted. Evangeline wasn't so sure.

A photographer caught a pic of Todd and brought this information to Bo and Hugh. Bo and Hugh looked closely at the picture but weren't positive. They wondered who the other person in the car was. (It was David, by the way.) Bo set up a five mile radius around the place where Todd had been allegedly seen. Bo added that Victor Lord's old mansion was also in the area.

David slipped into Spencer's room, using the old credit card trick. However, thanks to Renee's "fancy new locks" he couldn't get into the room. Fortunately, a maid was tending to the room acrress the hall and David managed to "borrow" the master key. David listened to some of Spencer's messages and heard one that mentioned Spencer's recent humanitarian trip to Thailand. David thought it odd that Spencer was such a self-promoter, but no one had heard about this trip. (Could it be what we the viewers saw in the next scene? Margaret was sitting at a table saying how wonderful it is in Bangkok and what a great place it is to raise a child.)

Spencer paid a visit to his favorite patient, Asa, and reminded him that he needed Asa to stay alive so he could settle up for his mother. Blair showed up and asked, "What's going on with you and Asa?" Spencer tried to explain that there's bad blood between the Trumans and the Buchanans. Spencer deflected blame to his brother but admitted it wasn't all his fault, as he had a brief interest in Kelly and Paige, Bo's current girlfriend, is his ex-wife. Blair bought it and then offered to help him take down Asa Buchanan, because she hates him. Blair revealed that she was addicted to dangerous men. "When are you going to quit being so hard on yourself?" he said gently. "You are worth so much more." Blair thanked him for helping her see that and headed directly to his hotel room. He'd meet here there in about an hour. (Now let's remember that David is snooping around there....)

Jessica remembered the first time she went to that room, that dirty room. Jessica began to panic and Dr. Crosby made her try to stay in the room. Jessica then remembered that the next time she was in that room there was another little girl there with her. "She says her name is Tess." Jessica began to freak out and begged to speak to Tess. Jessica asked Tess to let her see the things she couldn't see before. Jessica then remembered that the man had asked her for a hug, but she began to break, again. Tears fell down her cheeks. Crosby pushed, "What did the man ask you to do." Jessica began remembering and was so traumatized, so horribly traumatized, that Tess popped out. "See Doc, I told you she couldn't handle it." Crosby took her out of the trance and Tess emerged, not Jessica. "You can stop with the puppy-dog eyes, Antonio; I'm not Jessica." Antonio declared the entire thing a failure, while Viki insisted it most certainly was not. Nash took Tess outside and praised her for her bravery. Tess said she was plain tired of always having to take care of Jessica. Viki explained that it was very important that Jessica and Tess were able to talk with each other. Crosby said it was up to Tess to decide when they'd try this again. Tess is going to need Jessica again, "and then it will be our opportunity," Crosby promised.

Adriana paid a visit to cousin Cristian and they traded recent press clippings. She's on the cover of Belle and he's in the sports pages. Adriana thought it was pretty awful that Natalie was no longer in his life. Cris said he was ready to go it alone, because if he didn't he might as well still be in prison.

The McBain brothers talked about their brief meeting with Dr. Snyder at the bar and how they had to search for the truth. Michael was very jazzed to learn more about what might have been covered up in the operating room and "why would somebody do that." Michael added that he was getting married and that he wanted his father there. John offered to take over the investigation 100 percent, but Michael added that he now understands why John is obsessed with the case. "My life is on hold untill we find out, just like yours." John told him not to put his life on hold for him. John remembered there was a kid there at the hospital 25 years ago. A kid who was asking questions...John decided he had to find that kid and pursue Dr. Snyder and what he might be covering. Michael said he would try to cut through the hospital red tape. John said, "Between the two of us, we'll find something."

Tess and Nash were terrified about the upcoming therapy session. Tess reminded them (Viki, Clint, Dr. Crosby, Antonio) that the host always wins and when the integration happens Tess will be gone. Dr. Crosby said she'd be participating in the integration. Tess felt that "the people in that room" wanted Tess dead. Nash reminded Tess that she was the one in control. Nash and Tess went into the foyer to talk about this alone. Clint and Viki were compassionate, Antonio was snarly and Clint threatened to throw him out of the house if he didn't chill out. Tess wanted Nash to know that if she didn't stay (the dominant personality) it's not because she doesn't love him. Tess and Nash returned. Dr. Crosby brought out Jessica. Jessica surfaced and Dr. Crosby brought her back to when she was little. She remembered when Niki Smith brought her to that bar, that smoky place. Nash washed closely and we viewers got to see little Jessica with her stuffed animal hiding in the bar. She then was given a lollipop. Viki noted that it was Jessica remembering and not Tess. Jessica remembered being brought to a room and Jessica balked at that. She mentioned the man lured her back to his house with the promise of kittens of her own. He brought her to a room. Dr. Crosby learned that was the first time she remembered that night since it happened. "And that night was just the beginning," she said.

Dr. Crosby reminded them that Tess' resistence was to be expected and they needed to remain calm. Antonio was clearly very jittery and nervous and angry.

Natalie shared her frustration with Rex about not being able to help John and about what was happening with her mother and sister and that whole mess. She asked Rex for help in her hunt for Vincent Jones. According to Rex, Jones is connected to the mob. Natalie then accused Rex of being chicken, at which point Rex begged her to stay out of John's case. Rex left to track down Adriana and then John arrived at the police station. John appeared concerned that Natalie seemed so stressed. Natalie covered by saying it was very busy with classes and all.

Marcie admitted to Lindsay that she was having second thoughts about marriage, but not Michael. Marcie admitted she missed not having a mom or having her best friend Jen around to help. Lindsay said she'd help and Marcie asked her to be her matron of honor. Michael showed up and the two set a wedding date.

Ricky was impressed by Cris' other career as an artist. Ricky boasted about saving the day for Starr. After Antonio paid him a visit, Cris began painting, even though his hand was bandaged up.

Natalie shared her concerns about Cris' painting future with Roxy. Roxy accused Natalie of zig-zagging between John and Cris. "Johnny does not want your help," Roxy said firmly. Natalie wasn't interested in her analysis of the situation.

John and Michael saw a shaky and alcoholic Snyder at the bar. John urged Michael to follow his lead when it came to talking to the retired doctor. John asked him rather bluntly why "you let my dad die." John and Michael begged for answers about what exactly happened when he closed up after removing the bullet from their father all those many years ago. Snyder said that it was always thought that he was drunk during the procedure. Snyder added he'd always regret what happened but also said that there had been six doctors in the OR that day. Michael and John were frustrated that they hadn't learned more. John said they had learned something, that Snyder was hiding something from them. John added that they would have to keep digging and digging.

Clint tried to explain to Tess and Nash that they would have to bring out Jessica to gently explain to her how she had been abused as a little girl. Clint, clearly stressed out, took a time out to visit Dorian to explain what had happend to Jessica and that he and Viki had seen the child porn tape. Dorian made dinner for Clint (not a typo, folks) and the two talked about how they now had a friendship. Clint hoped that he was being a help to somebody. Dorian assured him that his being back in Llanview had been a huge help. "These next few days" were going to be tough, he admitted. Dorian offered her friendship. "I appreciate that," Clint said. Clint gave Dorian a big hug and then headed back home.

Antonio reminded Nash that Jessica and he have a home together. Nash explained that Tess is real, and that their relationship is real. Antonio droppd in on Cris and admitted that he was terrifed about the upcoming integration. Antonio was a little snippy with Cris as Cris wasn't clearly taking sides (his side) in the battle against Nash. Antonio headed back to Viki's and sat on the couch next to a very worried Clint.

Tess talked to her baby and explained that if Jessica came out and stayed, then maybe they would never know each other. Tess added that if "they get their way you'll never know that I existed." Tess and Nash talked about how things might be after the integration. She asked Nash to let their baby know how much she loved him or her and begged him not to tell that she had almost had the abortion. Nash promised that he or she would know "everything" about how Tess loved her baby. Tess said she wouldn't ever have given up what they had, ever. She wouldn't ever have missed having Nash love her. (It was a very tender scene; try to catch it on SOAPNet, dear reader.)

Ricky and Starr met when he came to her defense when some kids gave her a hard time. Ricky explained he knew her name because he had asked someone what it was, not because she and her family were all over the news. "I only read the sports pages," he said.

David woke up in Todd's hiding place (Tico Santi's old place) tied up to a chair. "Wake up. I need your help," Todd said. David said he couldn't help Todd, that he doesn't have anything against Spencer. Todd accused him of being "too much of a coward" to stand up to Spencer. David said he knew Todd didn't kill Margaret Cochran because Spencer did it. David said he was positive. Todd was very excited at the thought of getting back at Spencer. David thought the healer in Spencer would have prevented Spencer from commmitting murder. Todd told David he would have to get proof that Spencer had comitted murder. Todd let David go. David showed up at the hospital and prompty ran into Spencer. David pretended he had lost his cell phone. Spencer didnt really believe him.

Blair and Spencer decided to keep their relationship secret, as Jack and Starr probably aren't ready to accept Spencer as anything more than Blair's friend. Blair was worried about Starr's whereabouts. Spencer practicied some relaxation techniques with Blair. The two started kissing when Starr let herself in. "Did I interuppt anything?" she asked. Blair was able to do damage control, and assured her inquisitve daughter that she wasn't hiding anything from her.

Nash and Tess destroyed the tape and prepared to say goodbye to Viki, Clint and Antonio. Viki made it clear that there were plenty of copies of the tape around and that Jessica would see it eventually. Antonio apologized to Tess for the awful stuff had happened to her. Tess told her family she had just seen her abuser and had intended to kill him. Tess proudly said that Jessica hadn't been around for a while. Viki said she agreed with Tess, that their primiarly concern should the baby. Antonio wondered what they might need to do to get through to her — her being Jessica. Nash gave Tess her vitamins. The two cuddled and began talking about possible baby names. Nash promised Tess that he'd always be there for her.

Antonio blamed himself for not being around to help Jessica. Clint said they were counting on hm. "If we could just coax Jessie out," Clint said, but added that he felt sorry for those two kids upstairs (Nash and Tess). Clint tried to explain that the relationship between Nash and Tess was real, despite the fact that Antonio considered their relationship "a fantasy."

Michael told Cristian that he had seriously injured his hand (his painting hand) and was going to have him put it in a sling. "To make sure you do't move it," Michael explained. Michael told Cris to stop fighting for a while, but Cris ignored him and immediately agreed to a match when his promotor called him. Michael pleaded that Cris keep the sling on.

Natalie tracked down Vince or Vincent Jones in Atlantic City, determined to find out more on who killed Thomas McBain. John overheard Natalie on the phone try to get a hold of Rocco Lasardo and then hinted that he was on to her.

Michael and John hoped to find the doctor who had operated on their father at a local dive bar. Apparently that doctor had been there every night since he retired.
