Todd was throwing a temper tantrum in his cell on death row when Evangeline came by to tell him that they set May 26 as the day he'd be executed. Todd exploded again, screaming about Blair having sex with Spencer and telling Vangie that she has to keep fighting for him. When Evangeline asked what more she could do, Todd said she needs to talk to John.

Cristian told Natalie things are over between them. He said that even though he always thought they could pick up where they left off, that he now has to move on. "I love you, but I need to feel that back," he told her. "I loved you once," she answered. "I can't wait around for you to love me again," Cris replied. Natalie was clearly hurt as Cristian politely excused himself and went for a walk. Once she was alone, Natalie started sniffling as she worked her way through her cell phone contacts looking for someone to talk to. She considered calling John, but then decided against it.

Evangeline dropped by to see Cristian. They both said they had pretty rough days so they popped a couple of beers and talked.

David asked Paige for the date she helped deliver Margaret's baby and realized that Spencer had flown to Thailand the next day. He hypothesized that Spencer tried to get Margaret and the baby as far away from Llanview as he could. Paige wondered why Spencer chose to take the baby to Thailand, and David answered that Thailand is about "the best place to hide that thing," though he didn't actually say why.

Meanwhile, Margaret sat in a Thai restaurant alone doing a crossword puzzle.

Kelly was finishing up a run at the park when she ran into Hugh, who was there playing soccer with some kids. Hugh told Kelly that he volunteered to coach foster kids once a week. They talked about their own brothers and sisters, and when Kelly told Hugh that her brother Paul died, Hugh said that maybe she could have a big family of her own one day. Kelly broke down in tears. After she regained her composure, she told Hugh she thinks it's nice that he plays ball with the kids.

Marcie and Lindsay went to some fancy boutique to look at wedding dresses. Marcie was concerned that she was too big for the dresses there and wouldn't look as pretty as she wanted to at her wedding. Lindsay told Marcie to relax and that she'd pay for a beautiful dress as a gift from Jennifer. When a snooty saleswoman subtly suggested to Marcie that she was too big for their dresses, Lindsay had a word in private with her and said she isn't going to let "some stuck up saleswoman ruin what should be the best day of her life." Marcie started trying on dresses, and the saleswoman totally changed her tune and was falling over herself until they found the perfect dress.

John told Michael he had some leads on people who knew about what happened during their father's surgery the night he was shot. Later, a man walked up to John and introduced himself as Ray Bateman, Sr. "You killed my son," he said. Michael quickly defended John's actions, saying he saved his life. Bateman said that John made an orphan of a 12-year-old boy. "Ray had problems, but he deserved a chance, and my grandson deserved a chance to know his father," the guy said. "You ruined three generations of a family with one shot." After the man left, John told Michael that he left a young boy without a father just like someone did to him when he was a boy.

John went up on the roof and started tossing beer bottles at the wall when Natalie came up and asked, "What the hell is going on here?"

What did Margaret order for dinner?

Kelly woke up from a dream where she had just had sex with Duke. She and Kevin talked about his being sick and Duke being in love with her. Kelly told Kevin she's only in love with him and that they'd work through their issues. When Kevin admitted he had a couple of drinks before bed the night before, Kelly expressed some concern.

Duke gave up on waiting for Kelly for their run and took off alone. Later, he took a shower at Kevin's office, and Kelly ran into him as he was getting dressed (of course). Duke accused Kelly of having feelings for him, too, but Kelly denied it. "I'm in love with you," he told Kelly. "That isn't something I'm going to just be getting over." Meanwhile, Kevin was on his way to his office and waited outside the door, listening to Duke tell Kelly he loves her — and to Kelly not exactly denying that she loves him back. After Kelly and Duke left (without seeing him), Kevin went into his office and poured a drink.

Evangeline told Layla that she made a total fool of herself in front of Cristian by telling him sad stories about her father. "He was really nice about it, but it was humiliating," she said. Layla told Evangeline she clearly has the hots for Cristian, and that she didn't make a fool of herself — it was probably endearing that she shared her feelings.

Antonio told Cristian he knows things won't be the same with Jessica as they were before Tess came out. "If I want Jessica back, I'm going to have to learn how to love Tess," he said. Evangeline stopped by and Antonio left. Vangie apologized to Cristian for being so open the previous night. Cristian said it wasn't necessary. She took a call and had to go, and then apologized for coming by to apologize. After she was gone, Cristian called Natalie to say he had to talk to her.

Dorian and Clint had breakfast at La Boulaie. Dorian told Clint she thought he just needed some time away from his troubles at Llanfair. Clint told Dorian she can never mention to Viki that he told her about Jessica's abuse. Dorian got Clint laughing when she admitted that it was actually her housekeeper who made their breakfast (as well as the dinner the other night). Things got increasingly flirty as they reminisced about a time Clint scared Dorian with a rubber snake. "I've had fantasies about that snake — not what you think, though!" she laughed. "I take that long rubber snake, and I wrap it around your neck, and I choke you with it!" Clint halted their shenanigans just before they kissed and said that he doesn't feel right cozying up to her given her history of trying to hurt his family. Clint asked if she was being nice to him just to stick it to Viki. Dorian didn't answer. "The Cramers and the Buchanans, they just don't mix," Clint said as he walked out the door. Dorian stopped him just before he walked away and made sure he realized that he has an open invitation to come by again some time. Clint thanked Dorian for the breakfast and said it was just what he needed.

Tess was not happy when Viki woke her up from a sound sleep. She ripped into her pretty bad, saying that it was her fault that she was abused as a child and called her a "sanctimonious bitch" for claiming that the abuse was Niki's fault, not hers. Viki admitted she never allowed herself to face the fact that her daughter could've been suffering and that she'll never forgive herself for that. Viki told Tess she loves her, and Tess broke down into tears. "Why did you let him do that to me?" Tess cried. They fell into each others arms, sobbing.

Adriana saw Dorian celebrating the fact that Todd and Rex were both in jail. Instead of getting angry, though, she told her mother that she was right all along about Rex. She told Dorian about how Rex didn't trust her enough to tell her that he'd seen Todd. But she also said that she's in love with Rex and that maybe he was simply helping a man who was wrongly accused. No fan of Todd's, Dorian told Adriana she's out of her mind about both of those men. "Get over him as fast as you can!" she advised her daughter. After Adriana left, Dorian called Daryl and told him to keep up the heat on Rex.

Paige denied to Bo that she had any kind of evidence about Spencer framing Todd. She danced and danced around the truth finally saying that she merely suspects that Spencer "might have" killed Margaret. Later, Spencer called Paige and told her she better make sure that Bo doesn't find out what really happened because, "the answers he finds may ruin you both." He told Paige that if she just keeps her mouth shut, Todd, a pretty bad guy, would go to jail while Bo would remain free. "The end justifies the means, Paige," Spencer smirked.

Bo told Rex he can't believe he didn't tell him about seeing Todd. Rex said that he was just doing what he thought was right and that he'd never keep secrets again. Bo released Rex out of police custody, but told him he would never trust him again. Rex stopped by to see Adriana. Adriana was clearly glad to see that he was free, but still didn't feel that what Rex did was right. She closed the door without letting him inside.

Paige begged Bo to not look any deeper into Todd's case. Bo begged her to tell him what Spencer has done to scare her so much. Paige said nothing and then ran off. Outside, she ran into Hugh and they had a chat. Hugh told her that hopefully everything will calm down now that Todd is back in custody. Paige asked whether he believes that Todd could really have killed his kid. Hugh answered that plenty of people don't care about their kids. Paige said Hugh thinks that because he is adopted (he mentioned that he was in his opening statement at Todd's trial). Hugh said he was adopted into an amazing family but that not everyone is. "Margaret's baby deserved justice, and I did it," he said. Paige told Hugh that he reminds her of somebody — somebody else who believes the ends justify the means. Meanwhile, back at the station, Bo began digging around for info on Spencer.

At the hospital, Spencer overheard John tell Michael that he thinks Todd could be innocent. Michael offered to further help John investigate their father's murder by getting information from the hospital staff in Atlantic City that was on duty the night their father died, but John said he doesn't want Michael any more involved. Later, Spencer buttered up Michael by telling him he has all the makings of a top-notch surgeon. He then asked Michael to assist him on a surgery.

Vincent told Natalie he could probably help her get info on Thomas McBain but that he wants cash before he'll do it. When one of his henchman told Vincent that John McBain is a cop, he clammed up and told Natalie he wasn't happy about her connection to the police. Natalie told him that John doesn't even know she's there talking to him and offered to make it worth his while to help her. Natalie filled in the details of Thomas's story, how he was shot in cold blood shopping for gifts for his kids on Christmas Eve and how when he arrived at the hospital everyone thought he'd survive, but a drunk doctor operated on him and he died. Vincent said nobody still alive knows anything about what happened, but Natalie didn't believe him. Vincent said he better not have a cop come knocking on his door and left.

John bumped into Natalie and was surprised to see her in Atlantic City. She admitted that she was there helping him with his investigation but said that she was all done now. John told Natalie he's glad she told him what she was doing.

Vincent asked his partner if he still had Natalie's phone number on him because "it might come in handy."

Todd accused Spencer in front of the entire police station of setting him up for Margaret's murder so he could get Blair. "I know what you did," Todd smirked eerily. "You killed Margaret." John and Bo listened to it all from the next room. Blair apologized to Todd for his finding out the way he did but not for what she did. "You killed Margaret and you killed your own child and now you're going to have to pay for it," she seethed before walking out with Spencer in tow. When Bo came out to get Todd, Todd explained how he found a lease for an empty warehouse and thought it had to do with Spencer's framing him. When Bo asked for evidence, Todd admitted he had none, but then he spotted Paige in the station and said, "But she does." Paige wouldn't speak up, but then Todd told Bo that David also knows what happened. Bo took Paige into his office and said that she has to tell him everything she knows about Spencer and Todd. Paige admitted that Spencer is capable of murder.

Starr ran into Adriana and called Blair a "bitch." She explained how Blair hooked up with Spencer. Adriana told Starr to talk to her mom about it but Starr said she can't. She revealed to Adriana that she saw Rex in jail and Adriana ran off to find him.

John talked to Starr outside the station. Starr asked how you help someone after everyone else has given up on them, and John said you don't give up and you keep searching for the truth.... John asked Crosby to talk. He told the doctor that he thinks Todd is innocent.

Blair told Spencer she should've been honest with Starr from the beginning about their relationship. Spencer told Blair that she was forced to make a difficult decision but that Starr still loves her very much.

Rex languished in the jail cell, reminiscing about his relationship with Bo: hugging him, Bo complimenting him for helping catch Hayes, hearing Bo tell him at the prison riot "I will not lose another kid." Adriana stopped by to visit Rex and asked why he was in jail. Rex admitted he had spotted Todd and didn't say anything to Bo to help him stay hidden from the cops. When Adriana told him that was stupid, Rex told her she was being naïve. "I thought you had changed," she told Rex. "That you cared enough about me to be good." Rex said that he is doing what's right by sticking up for Todd. Adriana admonished Rex for betraying Bo's trust. When Rex told her she was acting like her mother, Adriana replied that maybe Dorian is right about Rex after all.

Roxy went to Atlantic City to warn Natalie to back off from the lowlifes she's hanging around. Natalie said she is just helping her "friend" John. Roxy pointed out that Natalie wouldn't put her butt on the line for her "friend" Michael even though it's his father, too. Natalie had no response. "If you're gonna be swimming with the sharks," Roxy warned again, "you're gonna be sleeping with the fishes." Later, a tough guy named Vincent Jones showed up. When Natalie said she expected someone older given that she's investigating something from 25 years ago, Vincent said that she must have expected his father, who died, but that he still might be able to help. Natalie sat down with Vincent to discuss the shooting of Thomas McBain.

Kevin told Kelly he had Spencer run some tests and that his sterility appears irreversible. Kevin said that he so badly wants to give Kelly a baby that for the first time he understands why she stole Ace. "It makes me jealous of my own son," he admitted. Kelly said to forget about that and to just focus on the two of them. They kissed.

Antonio handed some papers to Tess at the hospital and asked her to sign them. "Bite me," Tess replied. Nash took a look and said they were authorization papers for a paternity test. Tess signed them and then scolded Antonio for assuming that the kid was his. Clint dropped by and broke up an argument between the two. Tess felt a pain in her abdomen and went with Clint to see a doctor about it. When they got back, Tess said the doctor told her she hasn't yet started labor, but that she's effaced. Jessica talked in Tess's head, saying that she can handle the past and wants to play a role in the baby's birth. Tess fought Jessica off and left with Nash. Crosby told Antonio that integrating Tess and Jessica would be difficult.

Cristian told Evangeline she was acting like an idiot by risking her own well being for Todd. Evangeline told Cristian that once she risked everything for him, but Cris pointed out that she never had to break the law for him. "I care about you, that's all," Cristian said. Hugh showed up and warned Evangeline about Todd. While he was there, he got a phone call. Evangeline realized it was a call about Todd. Hugh left but Cristian wouldn't let Evangeline follow him. Cristian told Vangie she is wound too tight. Evangeline agreed. Cristian said he wants to help. Evangeline segued into a conversation about how her father died and how John hurt her and how she believes Todd is innocent. Cris told Evangeline that he personally thinks Todd is guilty, but that if she doesn't that she should keep fighting, so long as she does so without going to jail.

Surrounded by Bo and the cops, Todd continued to plead his innocence. Todd saw Rex and he called him a "miserable punk" for turning him in. Bo realized that Rex must have known about Todd already. Todd wouldn't put down his gun and asked for John. When John showed, Todd told him to make Bo believe that he's innocent. John said there's no way he can let Todd go. "I saved your life at the crash site, and you know the truth," Todd pleaded. "And you're willing to turn me in anyway?" John asked for the gun and Todd finally handed it over. A swarm of cops attacked Todd and took him into custody. Rex ran to Bo and told him he wanted to explain, but without a word to Rex, Bo had the officers arrest him. Later, Bo told John that he thinks Todd really might be innocent. John said he feels the same way.

Starr called Blair a "cheat and a whore" for sleeping with Spencer. "You shouldn't have given up on dad," Starr cried, "because he hasn't given up on you." Starr began pumping Blair for info on her affair with Spencer, asking for chronology about their sexual encounters. She told Blair and Spencer that Todd was alone and scared while they had "some sort of sex party." Spencer told Starr that he really does love Blair and that he has no ulterior motives. Just then, Bo called Blair and told her that they captured Todd and brought him to the station. Blair grabbed Starr and they went to see Todd. When they got to the station, Starr told Todd that Blair is sleeping with Spencer. Todd answered that he already knows.
