Dorian reminded David that being rich "can be very enriching." David, however, had no desire for money and didn't even want to use the Buchanan name. "Do you have to rob him [Clint] of his dignity?" David asked. "Yes, is that a problem?" Dorian responded. David didn't want to live off his wife's money. "I don't want to be like that," he said. Dorian was stunned when David said he wanted to return to Hollywood and acting. He admitted that he was indeed a “two-bit con artist." Dorian wondered if going back to acting would make him happy. David thought it would. David invited Dorian to come to LA with him. "I have a life here. A family. A teenager," she reminded him. David explained that he likes being with her. "I can't," she said shaking her head. Dorian didn't want to end the marriage, however. David couldn't let Dorian destroy his new family. But after some more talk, he would allow Dorian to "stick it to Clint." David asked Dorian to put in a good word with his father [Bo]. David gave Dorian a passionate goodbye kiss.

Matthew was distressed to learn that David Vickers is his brother. Bo admitted that his relationship with David's mother was a one night stand. "I was drunk," he added as he said that Emma Bradley had had a sad life. Bo told Matthew that he loves him (Matthew) more than anything. "You are a great guy. I want us to be buddies again like we used to be," Bo said. Bo mentioned the sadness he felt when he lost Drew. Bo said he'd talk to Nora about possibly un-grounding Matthew for a night so he could go to the dance.

Rex told Gigi that he wasn't David Vickers’ son. He added that Roxy had told him that his father was dead. "And I believed her," he said. "My mother killed my father," Rex finally told a wide-eyed Gigi .

Roxy paid a visit to a mysterious man in a hospital room. She began talking to him "about our son. I lied to our son tonight. Again. I told him that his father was dead." She declared that she would always keep the truth about his identity a secret from Rex. "Rex is the only good thing you and I have ever done," Roxy said. Roxy left the hospital room. Viewers saw him move his foot.

Starr insisted to Cole that she didn't tell Schuyler about his drug abuse. Starr assumed Schuyler put the pieces together by himself because, she said, "he was you." Starr was exasperated because she couldn't talk to Cole anymore because he was always high. Cole began yelling at Starr and told her not to ever talk to Schuyler about him. "I just want to feel something that doesn't hurt," he said as he pulled Starr in for a passionate kiss. "I can't do this," Starr said as she pulled away. She added that she was afraid of Cole. Starr said that Mr. J wanted to help Cole. "Why him?" Cole asked. "He gets it," Starr tried to explain. Starr said that was no possibility of "Us" when Cole was still using. She left Cole in the hallway. He immediately popped another pill.

Schuyler told Stacy that he now lives in Llanview and teaches 11th grade biology. It was clear that the two had a past relationship. "I've never seen your eyes so clear," she said. Schuyler began to tell her about how he pulled his life back together. "I have my mother to thank for that," he said. Stacy was shocked when he told her his mother had committed suicide. "Are you okay with talking about it?" she asked. Schuyler said that his mother had felt responsible for the recent loss of a newborn. Stacy apologized for not being there for him. Schuyler asked her if she came to Llanview looking for him. She shook her head. "I kind of hoped," he said sheepishly. Stacy explained she was in Llanview because of her sister Gigi. Schuyler reminded her that she's been hung up on a guy "since the first day I met you." Stacy just laughed uncomfortably.
