PASSIONS Recaps Week of June 6, 2005

Martin held Alistair at gunpoint when Al wouldn't give Katherine information about her late sister. Alistair told Martin that Kat has some secrets of her own. "I know my wife much better than you do," Alistair sneered. Al did reveal that her sister was murdered, but insisted that he didn't do it. Katherine was stunned when Alistair very gleefully informed her that Sheridan was the murderer. Katherine reasoned that this news couldn't be true, and was devastated when Martin told her it was.

Gwen confided to Rebecca how pleased she is that Ethan stood up for her when it came to dealing with Theresa. Gwen worried that Ethan would find out that she and Becca were actually the ones who broke the news of Ethan's paternity several years back, but her mom assured her that their secret was safe and that she'd hidden the disk that had the information on it. "Stop making a mountain out of a molehill," Rebecca urged, praising her daughter for following her footsteps as a schemer. Gwen was freaked to learn that the disk had been hidden in a safe in the Crane mansion. They went to retrieve the disk, though Becca was reluctant to show Gwen some of the other "art" she kept on it. Meanwhile, at the docks, Ethan kept making out with Theresa, even though he kept asking her to stop. "I made a committment to be loyal [to Gwen]," he explained. "You and I are done." Theresa kept pushing, so Ethan insisted that "nothing is going to make me disloyal to Gwen." Later, Gwen and Rebecca went to the docks to dispose of the print-outs .. and dropped some. Gwen was horrified when Theresa picked one of them up.

Beth tried to strangle Edna with a pillow. "[Alistair] doesn't trust you to keep your fat yap shut about my paternity," Beth told her. Then when Edna appeared to be dead, Beth danced around singing, "Dong, dong, the wicked mother's gone!" After, Luis called, asking if he could come over to visit Marty, which made Beth realize that she had to hide the body. "What if it smells?" she cringed. Beth then had a difficult time actually moving Edna. "Why couldn't you stick to Atkins like I told you?" she whined. "You weigh as much as a baby elephant." Turns out Edna wasn't dead; a few moments later she opened her eyes. "I win - and you, my wretched daughter are a loser again!" Edna crowed, and knocked Beth out. "Angels of mercy, help me keep evil from prevailing," she begged, actually conjuring up some little baby angels, sporting diapers, wings and halos.

Sheridan and Luis continued to search for Marty ... and continued to argue over whether Sheridan is Marty's mother as they drove. Luis apologized for not believing that Beth is her half sister. Meanwhile, Tabitha followed Endora's suggestion to make up a spell (including the ingredient spotted tree toad) to stop Shuis in their tracks. Soon, Luis had to stop driving because their car was encased by fog. However, one of Edna's angels stopped Tabby in her tracks; sure enough, the fog was lifted and Sheridan and Luis were able to continue on their journey.

Where did Rebecca keep the combination to the safe hidden?

In Fancy's Vegas hotel room, Ned told her they need to get out of Vegas and away from trouble. Ned decided to head home, but didn't tell Fancy where that is. He told her they can never see each other again after they get to the airport. After getting his belongings from the room he was staying in, Ned told Fancy to meet him on Fremont Street, and not attract attention. On Fremont Street, Ned forced Fancy to give the money to nuns who were collecting for a charity. Then the two said their good-byes, planning never to see each other again. Meanwhile, two thugs searched for them on the street. Ned boarded a plane; Fancy walked on moments later, both unaware they are on the same jet.

At the Blue Note, Chad, Valerie, Fox and Carla continued to watch Whitney sing. During a love song, Whit looked at Chad and had a flashback to them making love. Carla asked Fox if he still loves Whitney. Theresa was thrilled by Ethan's declaration of love, until he told her he's staying with Gwen. Ethan admitted he knew it was Theresa he was making love to the night she was disguised as Gwen and drugged him. "I would give anything to steal one more night with you," he said. Whitney walked up to a crying Theresa, who then left. Ethan told Whitney that he didn't want to hurt Theresa. Whit and Ethan argued about loving someone and not being able to be with them. She admitted she still loves Chad, then turned around to see him standing behind her. He heard her and told her he knew she was singing to him. "I know that we're brother and sister, but the love that we had just can't disappear," Chad said to Whitney. Fox interrupted their embrace. Whitney nearly let it slip about Miles being Chad's son.

On the wharf, Theresa cried to herself, then bumped into Ethan. Theresa took it as a sign from fate.

At the Wallace home, Beth sipped on a cocktail while telling her mother that she's going to by an estate for herself, Luis and Marty — with no Edna. Edna threatened to turn in Beth, who, in turn, threatened to kill her mom.

Over the phone, Sheridan asked Dottie if Marty is her son. She started to cry and told Luis, who assumed Dottie told Sheridan Martin is not her son, to take the phone. Dottie informed Luis that Sheridan is his son's mother. Luis asked Dottie if she is sure. Just as she was about to tell Luis that Sheridan and Beth are sisters, Endora and Tabitha used their magic to interrupt the call with static. Sheridan was determined to get her son back right away.

At the Blue Note, Whitney belted out a song, while Chad and Fox sulked next to their dates. Theresa walked in, and asked herself how her best friend could be singing about a baby. Whit walked off stage. Fox questioned Eve about her comment about Ivy not being Miles's grandmother. He then posed the query to Whitney. Eve covered by saying Ivy has been a bad mother to her own children. The women then cut each other down. Fox and Ivy stormed off. Theresa told her problems to the bartender. Ethan arrived and chatted with Chad about avoiding a business brawl with Fox. Ethan ran into his mother, who told him not to feel bad about taking Jane from Theresa. Eve apologized to her daughter for nearly spilling her secret. The doc told Whit to tell Fox and Chad the truth. Whitney walked over to the bar, where a stranger bought her a drink. Just as Theresa was leaving the club, Ethan walked up to her. She slapped him, then cried about him taking her baby away, and how he has everything. Ethan responded, "I don't have you... I should be with you." Julian tried to have a heart-to-heart with an angry Fox, who told his father he's never been there for him. Whitney once again sang. Eve vented to Julian about her daughter appearing to be going down the same wrong path she went down when she was an alcoholic singer.

In the mausoleum, Katherine begged Alistair to tell her who the dead woman is. He merely said it was someone Kat knew well, and told his wife to look at the skeleton's hand. Martin continued to beg her not to look. Alistair pointed out the ring on the bony hand. Kat freaked out, then yelled at Martin for never telling her the truth. Alistair told Katherine to "look at the woman Sheridan called mother. Look at your sister, Rachel." Katherine fainted.

Tabitha and Endora celebrated that Sheridan and Luis's relationship was quickly unraveling. A ringing phone emerged from the witch's magic bowl. Tab eavesdropped to learn Dottie was leaving a message for Sheridan, informing her that she reran the DNA test. Tabitha felt her plot to ruin the couple was failing. She watched as Sheridan and Luis continued to disagree in the airport. Though Luis begged her not to, Sheridan boarded the plane. Luis watched the plane through the window and wondered if their relationship is really over. Tabitha did a happy dance. Luis thought Sheridan took off, but turned around to see her standing behind him. She called Dottie. Tabitha was upset to realize Sheridan didn't leave town. The phone appeared again. Tab picked up to hear the conversation between Dottie and Sheridan. Sheridan asked Dottie if Marty is her son.

Luis called the airport to see if Sheridan was booked on a flight. In the terminal, Sheridan talked to Marty's picture about why she is leaving town. Once again, Dottie left Sheridan voice mails. Luis arrived at the airport seconds after Sheridan left the waiting room. Sheridan stepped back into the area, and Luis ran over to her. He begged her not to leave town. Just as Sheridan was about to board the plane, Luis told her that Dottie called.

Beth fantasized about a rich life with Luis and Marty. Once back in reality, Beth told her mother that Daddy Crane owes her money.

At the Blue Note, Carla came on to a resistant Fox. Eve and Julian arrived, and Liz pointed out to them that Whitney is drowning her sorrows in liquor. Eve blamed Whit's drinking on her sister, saying it's because Liz hired her to sing at her club. Eve slapped Liz. Ivy tried to tell Whitney to stop drinking. When Chad and Fox walked up, Whitney told them to leave her alone, then she walked away. Ivy told Fox to be happy Whit gave up their baby; she doesn't want a drunk raising her grandchild. Ivy asked Chad if she could see her grandson. Chad refused, then left. Ivy asked Eve if she agreed with Chad. Eve said Ivy isn't Miles's grandson; Fox questioned the doctor.

In Las Vegas, Fancy and Ned's clean-up efforts were halted when a man entered the room. They hid under the bed. A housekeeper barged in, causing the man to kick the dead body under the bed, unaware Ned and Fancy were there, too. Once the maid left, the man realized his money was gone. He fired shots under the bed, but Fancy and Ned had escaped on the maid's cart — with the briefcase full of money. The man caught the duo in the hallway and held them up at gunpoint. Ned distracted him so he and Fancy could take off.

In the dark, creepy mysterious place, Katherine looked inside the coffin after Martin and Alistair removed the lid. The sight of a blonde skeleton made Katherine scream. Alistair was surprised his wife couldn't identify the dead female. Martin did not want Kat to learn the truth. He said Alistair would have to tell her who the woman is because he couldn't. Alistair still did not spit it out.

Liz apologized to the Blue Note guests after Whitney walked out mid-song. Fox and Chad argued again, and Liz told them to leave. In private, Whitney broke down to her aunt. Liz told Whit not to drink her problems away. Whitney chugged a cocktail before heading back to the stage to sing. Chad and Valerie, and Fox and Carla watched her perform. Liz called Eve and T.C. and told them to get to the club. Whitney finished her set and ordered a double cocktail. Liz once again tried to stop her by telling her she was making the same mistakes as Eve did.

In the lab, Dottie talked to herself about having to find Sheridan to give her news. While driving to find Sheridan, Luis also talked to himself. Sheridan packed up in order to leave town, and yep, talked to herself while doing so. Dottie left a message for Sheridan. Luis returned to the cottage and realized Sheridan left. At the airport, Sheridan waited for her flight to leave for Paris.

Beth and Edna bickered. Beth told her mom that she's going to leave her behind when she moves away with Marty. Beth was excited when she came up with a new plan; she is going to ask Alistair for millions and tell everyone she won the lottery.

Martin warned Katherine that she shouldn't find out what is buried under the gazebo. On the Crane grounds, Alistair shows his wife a headstone with her name on it, explaining he had it put there for the kids to see when he made them believe she died. Al then pulled out a key and opened an old door. "Katherine, I almost feel sorry for you," he said as the three of them entered the mysterious place. Al, Kat and Martin walked through the dark room with torches. Katherine gasped at the sight of a coffin. She begged Martin to help Al open it. Martin told her it's going to be worse than she could ever imagine. The men began removing the lid. Alistair told his wife to look inside to see the "shocking truth." She looked in and screamed.

Still in Las Vegas, Fancy and Ned realized the dead body they discovered in the hotel room they are hiding out in is the man who tried to rape her. They wiped their fingerprints off of everything. Fancy grabbed the gun to clean, then dropped it. A shot was fired when it hit the floor; Ned collapsed. When Fancy freaked out, thinking he was dead, he surprised her with a kiss. The duo continued cleaning up until they heard someone at the door.
