Alistair demanded that Theresa give him his due honeymoon sex. Theresa kept trying to stall, but Alistair forced himself upon her. Theresa called a time-out and told Alistair she made a mistake by marrying him and is going to leave him. Alistair told Theresa she was free to go, but Little Ethan was now his, and directed her to read the pre-nup she signed, which gave parental rights to Alistair. Ethan informed Gwen that Theresa has agreed to leave town with Little Ethan and Ethan offered to help her escape. Gwen was upset that Ethan would risk Alistair’s wrath by helping Theresa but Ethan pointed out that Gwen should be happy because this would mean that Theresa would no longer be in their lives. Gwen flipped out on Ethan for offering to put himself and their security at risk for Theresa’s sake. Gwen concluded that Ethan is their own worst enemy, not Theresa. Ethan managed to lovingly allay Gwen’s fears.

Paloma and Simone tried to calm down Jessica and suggested she get some rest but Jessica was worried about having nightmares of the john she thinks she may have murdered. Further, Jessica was worried about Spike if she doesn't get back to work and earn the money she owes him. Simone and Paloma tried to explain to Jessica that Spike doesn’t really love her. Jessica and Noah tried to talk Sam out of turning Jessica in for murdering the john. Noah exploded and told Sam it was their job to protect Jessica. Sam said he tried being kind and loving and it got him nowhere with Jessica, so he has no choice but to turn her in for her own good. Sam relented and agreed to ask Jessica before jumping to conclusions. Sam confronted Jessica, Simone and Paloma, who stuck to their mutual alibi. Sam then confronted her with the bloody, burned material he found stuffed in their backyard planter. When Sam applied pressure to Jessica she confessed she murdered her jonn.

Sheridan refused to accept the FBI’s declaration that Luis is dead. Chris wanted to offer Sheridan support but the FBI agent said there was no time: Chris and James must pack up and leave pronto. Sheridan insisted that because she and Luis are soulmates who were together in past lives she would know and feel if he were truly dead. Sheridan demanded physical evidence to confirm Luis’ death. Sheridan brought the FBI agent to the Lopez-Fitzgerald home to collect DNA samples from Martin and Pilar. Sheridan broke the news to them, then broke down from overwhelming guilt at what happened to Luis. Martin and Pilar held out hope that Luis was actually still alive.

Alistair and Theresa returned home after their wedding. The mansion's staff assembled to greet and dote on the new Mrs. Crane, as Ethan and Gwen looked on in disgust. Alistair announced that Theresa can now visit Jane at will. When Gwen balked Alistair reminded her that she and Ethan are living at the Crane mansion at his invitation and were free to move out if they didn’t like his rules. Alistair informed Theresa he expected sex from her that night. Theresa managed to stall him, but only for a bit. Up in their bedroom, Gwen panicked to Ethan that it's just a matter of time until Alistair and Theresa manage to take Jane and Ethan away from her. Ethan tried to allay her concerns. Later, Ethan ran into Theresa in the kitchen. Theresa broke down in Ethan's arms over Alistair’s treatment of her, and begged him to take her away from all of it. Ethan gently reminded her that he’s not the one who’s forcing her to stay. Theresa said that Ethan is the reason why she’s in this mess. Ethan admonished her for not listening to everyone’s warning against marrying him. Theresa asked him how she can fix this mess. Ethan offered to help her and Little Ethan escape — but refused to leave Gwen and go with her. Theresa returned to her quarters, where Alistair barged in demanding his honeymoon sex.

An angry FBI agent raked Chris over the coals for breaking protocol and risking exposure. Sheridan apologized on his behalf and offered to take the blame. The agent stressed how much Chris' foolish actions have jeopardized his safety. Sheridan thanked Chris for his efforts. The FBI agent informed them that Chris and James must now be relocated because their cover is blown. Sheridan asked the agent if Chris and James could at least stay until Luis returns home. The agent’s face then turned grim. The agent explained to Sheridan how the FBI tracked Luis as he left the hospital in Spain, and broke the news to her that Luis is dead.

Jessica thanked Simone and Paloma for their help in covering up her john’s murder as they returned to her house, where they met up with Ivy and Noah. Sam returned home, and eyed Jessica suspiciously as he mentioned the murder case he just returned from. After Jessica went to bed Noah asked Sam why he treated Jessica like a suspect. Sam informed an astonished Noah that Jessica might have killed the dead john. Sam showed Noah and Ivy the earring of Jessica’s that he found at the crime scene. Against Ivy and Noah’s objections, Sam declared he had no choice but to turn in Jessica for suspicion of murder, unless he could convince her to turn herself in. Upstairs in her bedroom, Jessica, Simone and Paloma grew anxious about Sam’s suspicious tone, and circled the wagons to get their stories and alibis straight.

The hands of an unseen woman with red nail polish ripped apart a newspaper article announcing Alistair and Theresa’s wedding.

Sam and Eve arrived at the motel room where the cop found the murdered john. Sam and Eve canvassed the crime scene and took notes, trying to determine if Jessica had been the hooker with the dead john. The cop was worried that Alistair was trying to frame Jessica for the murder. Eve examined the body and determined he had been stabbed several times but not very deeply, suggesting the attacker was weaker or incapacitated. When the cop mentioned that people in the next room hear more than one voice, Eve worried if Simone might have been Jessica's accomplice because they've been becoming closer lately. Sam discovered an earring on the motel floor that he remembered giving to Jessica for her 16th birthday.

Simone and Paloma try to calm Jessica down, while Paloma privately worries about getting arrested herself for aiding Roberto in his smuggling activity. Paloma drove Simone and Jessica to Jessica's home so they could dispose of the evidence. Simone instructed Jessica to go to bed while she and Paloma burned the evidence.

The customs official phoned Harmony PD and asked that Paloma be stopped and her luggage searched again.

At the Seascape, Tabitha reveled in rubbing salt into Ivy's wounds. Fancy was upset at being disinherited. Noah told her she'd have to deal and learn how to make a living like everybody else. When Fancy balked Noah said she could try sweet-talking Alistair into getting back her inheritance, but she'd have to give him up to do so. Fancy declared she wanted Noah in her future no matter what. Alistair explained to Little Ethan in front of everyone what his inheritance means and the power that it wields.

Julian confronted Rebecca about their agreement to stay married forever. Rebecca refused to let him out of the agreement, but Julian vowed to find a way. Rebecca told Julian not to threaten her because she's keeping up her end of their agreement.

Chad confronted Alistair, who told Chad that "his kind" always manages to lose their jobs.

Gwen panicked at the prospect that Theresa and Alistair will soon take Jane away from them and bust up her marriage to Ethan. Ethan agreed to try once more to talk some sense into Theresa. Ethan demanded that Theresa smarten up and annul the marriage before it's too late. Theresa said if Ethan commits to her she would end the marriage to Alistair immediately. Ethan refused so Theresa resolved to go ahead with her marriage to Alistair, regardless.

At his wedding ceremony, Alistair shocked everyone when he presented Little Ethan as the new and sole heir to the Crane family fortune and dynasty. Julian tried to stand up to Alistair but Alistair dressed him down. A suspicious Eve asked Julian what he was speaking to Rebecca about previously. Fox openly berated Alistair for willing his fortune to "another bastard." This enraged Chad. Chad and Fox came to blows, to Alistair and Tabitha's delight. Theresa told Alistair he could do whatever he wanted with her but he must leave her son alone. Alistair insisted he needed Little Ethan as a viable heir. Alistair, Theresa and Little Ethan danced as a family as everyone looked on in disgust. When Alistair upset Theresa with a comment, Little Ethan spoke up. Alistair told Little Ethan that rule No. 1 is to never speak back to him. Little Ethan ran off, but Alistair forced Theresa to continue dancing with him. A panicked Gwen pleaded with Ethan to pack up and leave town with Jane. When Ethan refused Gwen urged Ethan to talk to Theresa. Ethan warned her that time was running out and she needs to stop things before they spiral out of control. Tabitha got drunk at the reception and reveled in everyone's misery.

At the Harmony airport the customs officer insisted that Paloma admit to what was she was trying to smuggle into the country or face severe penalties. When Paloma denied any wrongdoing the customs officer threatened to arrest her. A second officer entered and told Paloma and Roberto they were free to go. The second officer admonished the first one for using hard-nose tactics on innocent people, but the first officer insisted he knew that Paloma was thisclose to confessing to something. Roberto thanked Paloma for her help in their smuggling effort. The customs officials argued, and the first one decided to call Harmony PD and have Paloma pulled over so her luggage could be searched again.

At the motel Simone and Jessica escaped through the bathroom window before the cop broke through the front door. The cop discovered the john's dead body and radioed for back up. Simone tried to get Jessica to concentrate on getting rid of the evidence and making a clean getaway. The cop phoned Sam to tip him off that the hooker who rented the room matched Jessica's description. The cop worried that the murder scene might be a set-up by Alistair. Sam asked Eve to accompany him to the crime scene. Paloma ran into Jessica and Simone, who filled her in on what happened.

Simone received a frantic call from Jessica, who said she just woke up in a motel room and found her john murdered. Simone arrived and found the bloody corpse of Jessica’s john on the floor and blood all over Jessica’s top. Simone confirmed the john is dead. Jessica couldn’t remember much because of the drugs she took — she could only remember the john forcing himself on her as she was passing out from the drugs. Simone noted that the john had been stabbed. Jessica recalled that Spike had given her a knife to keep with her for her protection. Simone found it on the floor and it was bloody. Jessica freaked out, but Simone suspected that Alistair may be behind the murder to set up Jessica as part of his vendetta to destroy the Bennett family. Simone took charge and decided they needed to clean up the crime scene to prevent her from getting framed. Someone next door reported noises, and reported it to a cop, who knocked on the door of their room. The cop threatened to break down the door on the count of three if they didn’t open it.

At the Harmony airport, Roberto and Paloma expressed worry about getting through customs OK. A customs official pulled Paloma aside and said she’d been red-flagged for interview and search. The customs official returned to notify Paloma that they found what she had been hiding in her bag, and urged her to make a confession.

At the Seascape, Sheridan expressed to Chris her ambivalence about Luis returning home. Chris asked her to be sure of her decision before the FBI conducts its search. Alistair prepared to resume his wedding with Theresa. Alistair asked for attendants but everyone refused. Alistair continued regardless. Pilar whispered one final plea to Theresa to reconsider. Alistair admonished the crowd to respect Theresa’s wishes. The judge insisted that the wedding can’t continue with a pair of legal witnesses. Alistair co-opted a Seascape waiter and waitress to be the best man and maid of honor. Whitney then halted the ceremony with an objection. Eve warned Whitney not to go up against Alistair, but Whitney remained fearless. Whitney openly challenged Theresa to look her in the eye and say that this is the wedding of her dreams. Whitney pulled Theresa aside to try to talk some sense into her. Theresa maintained this was the only way to get what she wants. Whitney reminded her she had always hoped and planned to be Theresa’s maid of honor. Theresa said she still could be. Whitney realized if she couldn’t talk Theresa out of the wedding she at least didn’t want her to go through with it alone, so she agreed to be Theresa’s maid of honor. When the judge asked if there were any objections, everyone objected. Alistair ordered the judge to continue, and the judge pronounced Alistair and Theresa husband and wife. The judge presented them as a married couple for the first time, as everyone looked on in disgust. Alistair directed everyone to enjoy the reception, and reminded them of the special gift he has for everybody. Martin and Paloma pulled Theresa aside and told her that they are here for her when she “comes to her senses.” Alistair then gathered everyone around for his special “gift.” He had Little Ethan brought into the room and shocked everyone by declaring that Little Ethan is the new and sole heir to the Crane fortune and empire.
