Sam popped into the Blue Note after hours and chatted with Noah, who informed his father that Fancy got him a job at Crane Industries. Sam pointed out how different Fancy and Noah are, and that perhaps his son is with the wrong girl. The conversation continued when the men got home. Noah and Sam laughed about Fancy spending money on lottery tickets.

Jessica is shocked to find Spike in her bed. Jess told him she wants to live at home, where people care about her. He insisted he cares about her, but she didn't fall for it. She said he can't change her mind, so he started to leave. Jessica was relieved at how easy it was to turn him down, then stopped Spike from leaving. She urged him to go out the window, not the stairs. He threatened her by saying he would tell her dad that she killed her john during the tsunami if he didn't go back with her. Sam knocked on the door to tell his daughter good-night. Spike hid behind the door while Sam and Jessica exchanged sweet words.

Fancy ran into Ivy on the wharf. When Fancy told her mom that she convinced Alistair to hire Noah, Ivy was livid. After calling her daughter names, Ivy told Fancy that she has no idea how to actually work toward something she wants, and explained why a good man like Noah wouldn't want to work for Alistair Crane. Ivy also pointed out that Fancy will forever be in Alistair's debt if Noah takes this job. She tried to make her daughter realize that Al is evil. Fancy thought her mom was telling her she needs to settle. "I don't adjust myself for men," she snapped, shortly prior to Ivy making her admit she thinks Noah is special.

At Pilar's, Sheridan was thrilled to be reunited with Luis, who she believed she was hugging. Pilar turned the porch light on and they all realized the man wasn't Luis; it was a FBI agent dropping off a video tape that Luis made before he died. Ethan prepared the video for viewing. On the "video diary" that Luis made, he spoke directly to Sheridan to let her know every effort he was making in search of Marty and Beth. He said how hard it was to be in Paris without her. "I wish that I could see you face-to-face and talk to you, tell you everything I feel in my heart," he said. Pilar suggested Sheridan watch it alone, but Sheridan said it was okay for them to be there. Pilar admitted it was hard for her to watch. Eve took the lead on leaving the Lopez-Fitzgeralds alone with Sheridan to grieve.

While sipping a cocktail, Alistair told Theresa they will be having sex later. Theresa tried to tell her husband that she was sleepy and wanted to finish her drink before going to "bed." He threw her glass against the door and told her to "strut." In black lingerie, Theresa began to move around, but wondered why the drug she put in Al's drink wasn't making him tired. She kept stalling so she wouldn't have to be intimate with Alistair again. He pushed her toward the bed and forced her to have sex. Theresa imagined making love to Ethan. She snapped out of it and realized she made love to Alistair, who was passed out next to her in bed. Theresa got out of bed, put on a robe and exited the room. She ran into Eve in the hallway. Theresa informed the doc that Alistair didn't pass out until after sex. Theresa told Eve that she wants Alistair dead. Eve warned her that she would be the first suspect if anything ever happened to Al. Theresa went back into her bedroom and placed a pillow over her husband's face.

Sam and Ivy talked about Noah and Fancy's relationship. Sam said he hopes it doesn't take them as long as it did them to figure out that they are meant to be together. Ivy was elated.

Fancy interrupted Noah's solo game of shirtless basketball.

An unknown figure driving to Harmony heard the news about Luis’s death on the radio and sped up the car.

At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Alistair drew everyone’s scorn and disgust for daring to show up to pay his respects to Luis. The angry mob of ordered him out. He said he’d be happy to leave, but not without Theresa — and not without dressing down and ridiculing everybody, one by one. Alistair declared he was “horny as hell” and needs Theresa to return home with him so that she can perform her “wifely duties.” When Alistair suggested that he’d have sex with her on top of her brother’s coffin, Martin lunged at Alistair. Later Alistair berated Sheridan for grieving over Luis’ demise. Sheridan stood her ground and asked how he could be so hateful to his own daughter. Before Theresa left with Alistair, Eve slipped her a bottle of sleeping pills and told her to make sure Alistair gets just one every night, so that he would become too sleepy to force himself on her. Paloma expressed her sadness at losing another brother. Pilar and Martin comforted her, and reassured her that they’d always be a family. Sheridan called herself a fool for holding out as long as she did in trying to seek her father’s approval and acceptance. Sheridan told everyone that despite all the evidence, in her heart she still feels that Luis is alive. Sheridan went to another room in the house to be alone, where she heard Luis’ voice tell her he loves her. Everyone thought she was hallucinating until they heard his voice for themselves, coming from the front porch. Sheridan flung open the front door and threw herself in the arms of a shadowy figure standing on the porch. Back at the Crane mansion, Alistair handed Theresa a skimpy black negligée and ordered her to put it on. When Alistair got a business call he excused himself for a moment, giving time and opportunity for Theresa to drug him.

At the Blue Note, Fancy tried to explain to an irate Noah that she got him a job from Alistair to help their financial situation. Noah suggested that her real motivation was not to help him as much as it was to help herself from not being poor anymore. Noah said he refused to work for a man whose fortune consisted of all blood money. When Fancy balked at that characterization of her grandfather, Noah recited all of the despicable deeds Alistair has committed against the residents of Harmony — including Alistair’s own wife and children — and asked a bewildered Fancy how she could possibly ask him to work for someone who was responsible for all of that. In the midst of their conversation Noah realized he can’t get past the fact that Fancy is a Crane, and broke up with her.

On the docks, Jessica and Simone had a heart-to-heart over ice cream about their respective family’s problems. Jessica admired how well Simone has been able to handle her own family’s issues while she (Jessica) has turned into a mess. Simone restated her support for Jessica, and reaffirmed her belief that there is no way Jessica could be responsible for her john’s murder. Simone expressed confidence that Jessica was on the road to straightening out her life. Jessica hugged Simone and thanked her for her support. Jessica retired to her bedroom for the night, and was shocked to find Spike hiding out in her bed.

Kay pleaded with Tabitha to reverse the reversal and reinstate the original spell she cast on Fox, because she realized Fox would never be truly happy unless he was a success at work. Tabitha pleasantly surprised her by revealing that she hadn’t been able to reverse the reversal yet, so things are fine. But Tabitha warned that the spell would make Fox a professional success at the expense of their relationship. But upstairs Fox told baby Maria that if he had to choose between a successful career and a happy life with Kay, he’d take Kay and their family over money any day. Kay overheard Fox say that he hopes to marry her and have children with her one day. Endora expressed her displeasure with Tabitha for casting a spell that would break up Fox and Kay. Tabitha pleaded with Endora to understand that she was simply following Kay’s requests.

At the Blue Note, Liz warned Noah that all Cranes are alike, and hinted that she knew this from past personal experience. Liz further warned Noah that he just doesn’t know Fancy well enough yet to realize all Cranes truly are the same. A desperate Fancy went to a pawn shop in a seedy part of town to hock some of jewelry to help out in her and Noah’s financial situation. Fancy then went to see Alistair, and charmed him into agreeing to give Noah a chance — including a job offer at Crane Industries. Alistair said if Noah proved himself he’d be willing to reconsider his position on Noah and Fancy’s relationship. Fancy was ecstatic and ran back to the Blue Note to share the “good news” with Noah, who flipped out at the thought of working for Alistair.

At the Lopez-Fitzgerald home Luis’ wake continued. Gwen overheard Theresa confide to Eve how she fantasizes about making love to Ethan whenever Alistair forces himself on her and went ballistic. Eve and Ethan urged restraint from Gwen. But when Eve and Ethan turned their backs Gwen lit in to Theresa, Gwen ridiculed Theresa for fantasizing about Ethan, and goaded her by saying that while Theresa was fantasizing about making love to Ethan, Gwen was enjoying the real thing every night. Gwen managed to push Theresa’s buttons. Theresa attempted to counter by pushing Gwen’s buttons of insecurity, but failed. Pilar pleaded with everyone to find a way to stop Alistair before he kills anyone else. Just then Alistair arrived on the Lopez-Fitzgerald’s doorstep, with flowers in hand, prepared to pay his “respects” to Luis.

Friends and family tearfully gathered at the Lopez-Fitzgerald home to pay their respects to Luis at his wake. Theresa arrived on the doorstep and took a moment to realize that this is now the second brother she’s lost because of Alistair. Inside Paloma told Ethan and Gwen that Theresa had better show because her family needs her now. Julian did his best to comfort Sheridan. Theresa entered and announced she would take care of Alistair for everyone’s sake, once and for all. Privately Julian reflected with Eve on his childhood and how Alistair tried to mold him into his own image. Eve said it was a miracle that Julian survived his upbringing. Julian expressed worry that Alistair will try to brainwash Little Ethan in the same way. Paloma expressed her regret at not having enough time to get to know Luis better. Theresa swore on Luis’ coffin that she won’t allow Alistair to hurt their family ever again — and declared she won’t rest until she can spit on Alistair’s grave. A distraught Sheridan begged Pilar not to hate her because she lost both sons because of Sheridan, but Pilar said she loved Sheridan like a daughter and was grateful that she brought joy and love to the hearts of both Luis and Antonio. Sheridan lamented that she’ll never see her son ever again, but Pilar pulled out her candle and asked Sheridan to light it with her to ask God to return Marty to her the way her candlelight vigil had brought Antonio and Martin back to her. Martin stepped in to offer his own support, and assured Pilar that he was here to stay. Pilar thanked him and said if she suffered just one more loss she would break. Eve pulled Theresa aside to try to talk some sense into her about leaving Alistair. Theresa filled in Eve about Alistair’s despicable actions, including his threatening to keep Little Ethan if she leaves him. Theresa asked Eve to give her some medication she could use to drug Alistair to stop him from having sex with her. Theresa explained she got through her sex sessions with Alistair by fantasizing about Ethan. Gwen walked in and overheard this and went ballistic on Theresa as a shocked Eve and Ethan looked on.

During pillow talk, Fox lamented to Kay about being disinherited and suddenly without wealth, and the uphill battle he faces against Chad at Crane Industries. Kay consoled him as Fox talked about his quick turn at bat as the Crane heir apparent. Kay realized that she made a mistake in asking Tabitha to reverse the spell, and left to go find Tabitha. Kay explained that Fox is the first man who’s ever truly loved her, and she never knew what true, selfless love was all about until now. Unfortunately, Kay was too late — Tabitha finally managed to reverse her original spell — and was exhausted from the ordeal. At the Blue Note, Noah invited Fancy to go apartment hunting with him. Fancy was grossed out by the sight of cockroaches in the apartments they looked at. Noah assured her they would find a nice place. Noah said he would go back to grad school and ultimately get a better paying job, but asked that Fancy be patient as they make their transition. Fancy came up with an idea to make some money to help their financial situation.

Jessica expressed her suspicions to Simone and Paloma that her father may have accepted her story just to get them to let their guard down so he can get to the truth. Simone and Paloma tried to reassure Jessica that Sam was being honest and upfront in his responses to them. Sam became angry when Ivy asked him if he thought Jessica was truly capable of cold-blooded murder. The undertakers showed Sheridan the body of the man that they believed to be Luis, and a distraught Sheridan positively identified him as Luis. The agents said because Sheridan was not next-of-kin she couldn’t make arrangements herself, so Sheridan telephoned Martin and Pilar. Pilar instructed that Luis’ body be brought to the Lopez-Fitzgerald home, where they will hold his wake. Martin telephoned Sam and broke the bad news to him as the coffin was being delivered. Sam offered to tell Paloma for Martin and Paloma. Pilar tearfully reminisced about Luis with Martin, Ethan and Gwen. Sam called the girls downstairs to tell them what happened. Paloma refused to believe the news, and ran home to see the coffin for herself. Sheridan pulled Ethan and Gwen aside and urged the two of them not to take what they have with each other for granted. Sheridan then broke down as she became overwrought with guilt for how she treated Luis and how she left things with him before he left town.

At the Blue Note, Julian and Fancy were having a heart-to-heart at one table while Noah and Eve were doing the same at another. Fancy expressed her worries to Julian about what she’ll do with her life now that she’s been disinherited by Alistair. Fancy expressed her admiration of Julian for how well he has handled and adapted to his own disinheritance. At the convent, Theresa asked Whitney to help her kill Alistair. Theresa admitted that she married Alistair for selfish reasons but insisted she didn’t deserve the things Alistair was doing to her, and saw no other alternative. Whitney reminded her that she was almost executed the last time she was accused of murder. Theresa said this time it would be justifiable self-defense to stop Alistair from raping her again. Whitney refused to help Theresa, declared that murder was a mortal sin and warned Theresa that she'd have no choice but to turn her in if Theresa followed through on her intentions. Theresa insisted that the only way for her to escape Alistair's evil would be for her to take his life. Kay demanded that Tabitha reverse her spell on Fox, because him being successful professionally isn't worth the toll it’s taking on them personally. Tabitha promised to do her best, but said she couldn’t guarantee anything. Tabitha went down into her basement and pleaded with the dark side to help her. She tried to conjure a spell to reverse the first one, but her attempts failed.
