Gwen was excited about the idea of Ethan getting a job transfer so they could move far away from Theresa. Ethan and Sheridan had a private heart to heart about his wanting to leave Harmony. Sheridan told Ethan that no matter how far away he goes, he's always going to carry Theresa in his heart. Sheridan said she's be sad to see Ethan and Gwen move, but that she supports his decision.

At the Blue Note, Fancy talked to a woman about relationships. The stranger mentioned that if a man is committed to his career, then he is able to commit to a woman. While working behind the bar, Noah read the letter that he keeps in his wallet. Fancy informed the woman that her boyfriend carries a letter from his ex, claiming he would never love another like he loves her. The woman left and Fancy joined back up with Noah. She told him she talked about relationship stuff with the lady. Noah assured her everything was fine. Fancy headed out to see Alistair at the hospital. The woman watched Fancy walk away, then walked up to Noah. Her name is Maya, and she said it's been too long since they've seen each other.

Kay hid from Fox when he arrived at Tabitha's. Endora zapped Kay out of each room Fox walked into. When Fox finally caught up to Kay and was about to propose, Maria began crying, so Kay ran off to her bedside. Once Maria fell back asleep, Kay decided to tell Fox the truth; that they can't get engaged yet or their relationship will be doomed. She walked into the living room and began telling the back of Fox's head everything, not realizing he was sleeping. She checked out her ring, and was sad she couldn't let Fox propose yet.

In Jane's room, Gwen admitted to Theresa that she sent the e-mail to the tabloids from her rival's computer. (Too bad Ethan wasn't on the other end of the baby monitor, huh?) Theresa suggested Gwen give up Ethan in order to save herself from having him dump her when he learns she betrayed him. Ethan entered the room and a thrilled Gwen told Theresa they are moving away from her.

Chris, Sheridan and Julian continued searching for Otto's whereabouts. Chris promised to bring Marty home to Sheridan.

Katherine told Pilar that Martin is still in love with her. Pilar defended her husband's love and commitment to their family. Though an irate Pilar showed her the door, Kat said she wouldn't leave until they talked out the problem. Pilar denied having doubts about Martin's love for her, and called Katherine a slut. Kat stood up for herself and told Pilar that she and Martin didn't plan on falling in love, but it happened. Kat said she gave him up because she felt that was the right thing to do, but she realized it's not fair for Pilar to be with a man who doesn't love her. Katherine finally walked out.

Tabitha worked her magic and interrupted Fox from asking Kay to marry him. Tabs called Kay and told her what was about to happen. Kay was thrilled and rushed back to Fox. Before Kay got to the table, Tabitha called her again and told her she can't become engaged right now in order to prevent their relationship to be doomed. Kay panicked and asked the witch for help. Back at the dinner table with an anxious Fox, Kay began eating her dessert, unaware that's where her engagement ring was. Tabitha tried desperately wake a snoring Endora up so she could help prevent Fox from proposing. Kay spotted her ring in the parfait, but shoved it to the bottom and claimed she couldn't eat anymore. She pushed Fox to the dance floor. Endora woke up, and her mother filled her in on Kay's predicament. The little witch used her powers to make a waiter take Fox and Kay's dessert (including the ring) away. Fox flipped to see the desserts were missing. When he headed to the kitchen to retrieve the ring, Kay told the waiter to tell Fox she had to leave due to an emergency. Fox found the ring, then learned Kay left the restaurant. He was still determined to propose that night.

Fancy questioned Noah about when he thinks a couple is ready to marry. They went to the Blue Note. A woman at the bar talked to Fancy about men not wanting to get married. Fancy bumped into a woman in the Ladies' room.

Julian and Katherine had a heart-to-heart. She told her son that she's in love with Martin; Jules encouraged her to get him back.

Sheridan continued to search for Otto on the Internet. Sher questioned Rachel about anything she remembers about the henchman or place she was held prisoner by Alistair. Rachel recalled Otto's last name. Sheridan and Chris headed to the mansion to hack into Alistair's files to find Otto. Katherine arrived at the B&B to talk to her sister about Martin. Rachel told Kat to follow her heart and go after him.

Pilar and Martin talked about Theresa's determination to get Ethan. Pilar asked her husband if he's going to go back to Kat; he promised that he's committed to their family and won't leave her again. She suggested they renew their vows immediately. Martin left to get dinner. Seconds after he walked out the door, Katherine arrived and asked Pilar if she really wants to spend her life with a man who is in love with someone else.

Tabitha told Kay she can't become engaged to Fox until the stars realign or else their relationship will be forever doomed. Kay was relieved, thinking Fox was nowhere near asking her to marry him. However, Fox walked in with an engagement ring in his hand. With Fancy, Noah and Tabitha watching, Fox told Kay how much he loves her. Fancy interrupted to talk to her brother privately. "You're making a terrible mistake," Fancy said. She explained he needs to pop the question in a memorable environment, not in Tabitha's living room. Fox asked Kay to go to dinner with him.

At the Bennett house, Noah was far from excited when Fancy told him that Fox was going to propose to Kay. He said it was too soon. Noah and Fancy didn't agree; she believes that if it's the right person, you should marry as soon as you know.

At the restaurant, Kay was flattered by the flowers and champagne, but still didn't realize Fox was going to propose. At home, Tabitha and Endora watched MEDIUM, then tuned into Kay and Fox. Tabs realized he was about to pop the question.

Julian walked into the Crane library while Sheridan and Chris were searching Al's laptop for information on Marty's location. Jules helped them figure out Alistair's password, and they located a photo of Otto.

Kay looked in the magic bowl, hoping this time that the shadow wouldn't ruin the vision of her wedding to Fox. Kay was happy the brown glove-wearing figure disappeared from the bowl — until she saw the figure try to kill Fox.

At the skating rink, Fancy and Noah agreed not to talk about Alistair. Noah raced after the person Fancy believed was watching them, but realized he was chasing a kid.

At the Crane office, Valerie was frustrated when a man showed up with a briefcase full of engagement rings, and Fox asked her to help him pick out a diamond for Kay.

Theresa rubbed it in Gwen's face that Alistair will soon expose her secret. Eve announced that Alistair suffered a stroke and won't be able to communicate for a while. Julian called Fancy and told her about Al's condition. He said she needs to help with Crane Industries. Gwen was thrilled when Ethan suggested they move out of Harmony. Winthrop received a call from his office and walked away. Gwen and Becks shared their excitement over leaving town before Ethan learns their secret.

Fancy left Noah at the park in order to go to work. A woman in black boots followed Noah. He walked in on Tabitha reading Kay's tarot cards. Kay covered when her brother asked why they were talking about magic. Kay and Noah both admitted Alistair is holding a secret over their heads. From the kitchen window, Tabs saw the woman spying on Noah. The witch interrupted the Bennett siblings' chat to privately tell Kay she must not become engaged to Fox, or else!

Julian told Eve that he is planning on cleaning up some of Alistair's environmental misdeeds.

Fancy arrived at C.I. helped Fox pick out the "perfect" ring for Kay.
