Fancy threatened Noah that if he doesn’t come clean on everything about Maya then she is through with him. Fancy slipped about discovering the love letter in Noah’s wallet. Noah became enraged and accused her of being hypocritical. He refused to answer any more questions until she came clean with how long she’s known about the letter. Fancy explained how she accidentally happened upon the letter during the tsunami. Fancy asked Noah why it’s so hard for him to talk to her about Maya. Noah had a flashback to the night in the attic with Maya when the man got shot when he opened the trunk. Just then Noah heard the sound of gunfire outside. He yelled that “they’re shooting at us!” and tackled Fancy to the bed for safety. Noah realized it was simply a car backfiring. Fancy wondered why his first instinct was to assume it was gunfire. She asked if that had anything to do with his past with Maya. Noah tried to twist things around and accused Fancy of being a jealous princess. Fancy gave Noah a final ultimatum to level with her or else. When Noah hesitated, Fancy told Noah things were really over between them.

Sheridan told Katherine about their newest lead on Marty’s whereabouts. Katherine updated Sheridan on the Martin situation and told Sheridan she told Martin about her intention to get him back. Sheridan explained to Katherine how much she loves Chris and James. Katherine wished Sheridan and Chris well and good luck on their trip to Hawaii.

Gwen was enthused about her and Ethan’s move to India. A Bollywood fantasy sequence ensued in which Ethan, Theresa and Gwen acted out the drama of their love triangle in traditional Indian song, dance and costumes.

As Kay tried on the engagement ring Fox got her, Tabitha warned her not to tempt fate again. Fox arrived to whisk Kay away for a romantic weekend at a country inn. Ivy pushed Valerie for results in breaking up Fox and Kay. Valerie informed Ivy of Fox’s intention to propose to Kay that night. Ivy ordered Valerie to go interrupt Fox and Kay’s plans with another work emergency. Fox and Kay’s plans were already interrupted, thanks to Kay feigning illness. Fox returned to the office with Valerie. From Tabitha’s kitchen Kay spied Ivy and Valerie talking outside amongst themselves, and realized Ivy was backstabbing her all along.

Pilar consoled Theresa after her disastrous confrontation with Ethan. Theresa informed Pilar of Ethan’s plans to move with Gwen to India. Pilar suggested that Ethan was moving because of Theresa, and told her she couldn’t stand to see Theresa suffering like this. Theresa said there was nothing Pilar could do for her, and resolved to prove to Ethan that he’s making a mistake. Pilar reminded her today was the day that Theresa was supposed to make good on her Christmas present to Pilar and treat her to a day at the spa. At first Theresa didn’t want to go, but then she realized it might help her take her mind off of Ethan and Gwen. Maya went to the same spa to get ready for her planned rendezvous with Noah. Inside the steam room Theresa met “Hanna Nicola Smythe,” who gave her advice about her personal life.

Eve tried to get Theresa to reconsider her decision to continue pursuing Ethan. Theresa insisted that Ethan is in love with her, but he can’t admit it to anyone or himself. Theresa believed that Ethan would soon come to his senses and realize he can’t leave Harmony and leave her behind. Eve tried to reason with Theresa but to no avail. Julian informed Ethan that he’s arranged for Ethan to assume a new position in Crane Industries in India to help Ethan and Gwen get away from Theresa. Julian quizzed Ethan if he was really ready to never see Theresa again. Theresa walked in and freaked out when she overhead them discussing Ethan and Gwen relocating to India. Theresa forbid Ethan and Gwen from moving. Ethan declared that he’s moving regardless of what Theresa says or wants. Theresa refused to allow that to happen. She insisted that she knows that Ethan loves her. Ethan admitted it, and said that’s why he has to move halfway around the world. Theresa locked her and Ethan into the study, and dropped the key down her blouse, and challenged Ethan to come and get the key if he really wants out. Theresa tried to seduce Ethan and said she knows that when he makes love to Gwen he’s really thinking of her. Ethan pulled away and insisted he’d remain a faithful man. He called Gwen upstairs and told her to start packing for India, ASAP. Ethan told her this is the best decision he’s ever made for everyone’s sake. Theresa tearfully clutched him and refused to let him go. Ethan said she’d find another man to love her the way she deserved to be loved, and left her to go upstairs and back while Theresa curled up into a ball on the floor, crying her eyes out.

Maya wondered if Noah is really over her. In her hotel room, a woman called her and asked Maya if she made contact with Noah. The woman said she must now proceed as arranged. The woman said that was not an option. Maya begged the woman caller to not force her to go through with things. The woman said she must, and asked what changed. Maya said once she saw Noah she remembered what a nice guy he is and how he doesn’t deserve this. Maya begged the woman to reconsider. The woman accused Maya of still being in love with Noah. Maya admitted she is. The woman promised that if everything goes as planned then Maya can get Noah back and live happily ever after with him.

Tabitha saw in her magic bowl of rainwater that that Sheridan, Chris and Rachel zeroed in on Marty’s possible whereabouts. The three of them tried to figure out exactly what or where kamakeke was. Rachel lamented that her memory wasn't good enough to help more. Eve and Julian suggested that hypnosis might be the answer. Rachel said she’d be happy to give it a shot. Under hypnosis, Rachel remembered details of her surroundings from when she was held captive by Alistair. The details pointed toward Hawaii.

Fancy freaked out when Noah called her Maya while they were making love. Fancy demanded to know who Maya was. Noah leveled with Fancy and told her that he met Maya in college and had a relationship with her then, but it didn’t work out. Fancy asked Noah if he was in love with Maya and Noah said yes, but it was a long time ago. Fancy still wanted to know why he blurted her name out if she was in the past. Noah insisted she was in the past and that their love was simply not meant to be. Fancy said if Maya meant so little to him then why did Noah hide his relationship with her to Fancy. Fancy dismissed Noah’s explanations and demanded to know if the secret Alistair is holding over Noah’s head has anything to do with Maya. Noah tried to sidetrack her by suggesting they go back to bed. Fancy refused and declared that unless Noah comes clean about everything his secret is going to ruin their relationship.

Pilar had a flashback to her confrontation with Katherine, in which Katherine vowed to fight to get Martin back. Nervous at Katherine's threats, Pilar urged Martin to call Father Lonigan and renew their vows immediately. Martin asked her why she suddenly wanted to rush things. Pilar said she was worried about losing him, but Martin promised her she has nothing to worry about. After Martin assuaged Pilar's fears the doorbell rang. Martin answered the door to find Katherine, who dropped the bombshell that she wants him back. Meanwhile, Pilar was upstairs trying on her old wedding dress, happily preparing to renew her vows with Martin.

Katherine informed Sheridan of her decision to go after Martin. Sheridan asked Katherine why she changed her mind. Katherine said her original decision to leave Martin behind was done in order to save Sheridan. But now that Alistair's threats are gone, there's no more reason to. Katherine said Rachel also influenced her decision, because Rachel pointed out to her that she (Katherine) deserves happiness in her life, too. Katherine wanted to tell Sheridan because she knows how fond Sheridan is of Pilar and how Pilar was a mother figure to her when she was growing up. Katherine said she didn't want to do anything to ruin her relationship with Sheridan, and asked Sheridan if she could accept Katherine's decision to pursue Martin after all. Sheridan said it would hurt her to see Pilar in pain. Katherine asked if that meant Sheridan would be taking Pilar's side, and said if she did then Katherine would understand. Sheridan said if this is what Katherine feels she must do she'd prefer to remain neutral and not take anyone’s side. Katherine embraced Sheridan and thanked her for her understanding.

In Alistair's ICU room, Chris was about to kill Alistair when Rachel slipped into the room, ready to kill him herself. Chris and Rachel bonded over their shared hatred of Alistair. Rachel recounted to Chris how her relationship with Alistair evolved, and recalled through flashbacks how she was imprisoned by Alistair after she threatened to call off their engagement. Rachel proceeded to rehash and recap her backstory to Chris, including the mishap which left Sheridan thinking she killed her mother when she was a young girl. In her trip down memory lane Rachel remembered something that might be a clue to help find Marty: When Alistair held Rachel prisoner he always uttered the word "kamakeke." Sheridan jumped on the Internet to research the word and discovered a number that looked like it was a geographical coordinate.

At the Book Cafe, Sam, Paloma and Simone commiserated over Jessica's return to Spike. Sam asked Paloma and Simone if they knew anything about the serial killer murdering the johns in Harmony. Paloma and Simone covered. After Sam left Paloma returned to work at the cafe and tripped over a loose board in the floor of the kitchen. She removed the board and told Simone it looked like something was underneath the floor. They removed more boards which revealed a trap door. They opened the door and took the ladder down to a secret room lined with boxes labeled "Property of Alistair Crane." They realized they discovered Alistair's archive full of secrets.

In the Blue Note parking lot, Fancy questioned Noah about who he was talking to when she arrived. Noah lied and said he was consoling a dishwasher who was afraid of losing her job, and he promised to put in a good word for her to Liz. Noah took Fancy back to his place for a romantic evening. He uncorked a bottle of champagne and proposed a toast to themselves before hitting the sheets. After they made love they polished off the bottle of champagne while having some pillow talk. Fancy asked Noah if he got all of his ex's out of his system, and he kissed her passionately in response and proclaimed that he loves Fancy and only Fancy. Noah began making love to Fancy again, but in the heat of passion called Fancy "Maya" by mistake. Oops!

Julian did his best to reason with Theresa about letting go of Ethan and moving on with her life, but his words fell on deaf ears. Theresa pleaded her case to Eve and Sheridan, who joined them in the library. Eve and Sheridan agreed that it's wise for Ethan to move away. Theresa insisted that fate will still bring her an Ethan together. Sheridan felt that "fate" was sending Theresa a much different message now. Sheridan said she had to move on from Luis, and now Theresa must do the same with Ethan. Eve and Julian suggested that Theresa at least be open to the possibility of having another man make her happy. Theresa got angry, accused the three of them of being against her and stormed out. Theresa then spied on Gwen and Ethan in bed, as they took turns giving each other massages in between rounds of making love. Theresa overheard Ethan tell Gwen he loves her. Theresa returned to the nursery to check on Jane, and vowed that she would never let Ethan go — ever.

Tabitha warned Kay that if she allows Fox to follow through on his marriage proposal tonight that her relationship with Fox would be doomed. As Fox remained asleep Kay tried on the engagement ring but it got stuck and she couldn't get it off her finger. Endora used her magic to put Fox back to sleep so he wouldn't see the ring on Kay's finger. When Kay still couldn't get the ring off, Endora use her magic to take it off before Fox woke up. Fox came to and Tabitha and Kay covered, saying he just took a nap. Kay and Tabitha went to tend to Maria, while Fancy had a heart-to-heart with her brother. When Tabitha and Kay returned they continued to stall Fox from proposing to Kay. Fox finally blurted out his "proposal" — to take Kay away to a charming inn in the countryside. Noah demanded answers from Maya, who pulled Noah into a passionate kiss as she clutched a pistol underneath her coat. Noah pulled back and broke the news to Maya that he's moved on. He told her he's very much in love and happy with someone else right now. Maya tried apologizing for getting him mixed up in the incident with the man getting shot. Noah said he could accept her apology but that wouldn't change how he feels about Fancy. Maya insisted that his relationship with Fancy couldn't compare to theirs. Noah disputed that and said that actually he'd be lying if he said it didn't. When Maya slipped and said she knew that, Noah realized that Maya is the one who's been stalking and spying on Fancy. Maya admitted to it, and said she was seeking out Noah on a matter of life and death. Maya said she came to him as a last resort because she's desperate. When Noah said he was helping his father with their bills Maya said she wasn't coming for a handout, she needed real help from him. As Maya attempted to explain, she looked down the street from them and cried out in horror that "they" are coming. Maya ran off, only for "they" to show up and confront Noah — it was only Fancy.

Chris secretly paid Alistair a visit in the ICU, and had a flashback to the confrontation he had with Alistair on New Year's Eve when Alistair threatened to expose his secrets and ruin his life. An angry Chris grabbed Alistair's IV tube and expressed hope that his secret dies with Alistair as he twisted Alistair's IV tube into a knot.

Fancy kept a bedside vigil in Alistair's hospital room. Fancy speculated on what Noah's "big secret," that Alistair knows, could be. Fancy had a flashback to the night she was stranded in the department store during the tsunami in which she read a letter from Noah to an ex-girlfriend, detailing his love and affections for her. Fancy quietly hoped that Noah loves her as much as he loved this other girl. Fancy wondered if Alistair was trying to protect Fancy from having her heart broken by Noah. An unconscious Alistair had a flashback to his blackmail confrontation with Noah, in which he alluded to Noah and Maya's involvement in the incident of the man getting shot to death while opening the trunk in the attic, and threatened to expose the truth to Sam and Fancy any time he chose. Noah threatened to kill him in response. Alistair's flashback drove him to become nearly conscious. Fancy rang for the nurse, but the nurse believed that Alistair's eye and lip movements were most likely involuntary.

At the Blue Note, Noah had a surprise and uneasy reunion with Maya. They reminisced about their relationship in college. Maya had a flashback to when her then-boyfriend accused her of cheating on him and slapped her. Noah intervened and knocked him out. Maya kissed him passionately in gratitude for coming to her rescue. As the flashback continued, Noah invited Maya back to his shabby student apartment so he could tend to her physical and emotional wounds. A montage depicting their steamy romance and loving relationship ensued, ending with a scene depicting Noah and Maya in the doorway of the attic watching the man get shot in the back as he opened the trunk. Maya pleaded with Noah to flee the attic and leave the dying man behind. Noah reluctantly agreed, but demanded to know why Maya insisted they leave a crime scene. Maya never gave him a straight answer. They explained that Noah's growing resentment over the secret she forced him to keep eventually drove them apart. Maya apologized for putting Noah into such a dilemma. Maya asked Noah to accompany her so she could show him why she never wanted him to go back into the attic. As they stood outside the Blue Note, Noah demanded answers. As Maya stalled and stonewalled, she turned her back to Noah and pulled a gun from her coat.

Theresa freaked out at the prospect of Ethan and Gwen leaving town with her baby. Theresa insisted it was an effort to hurt Theresa. Gwen said she's thinking only of herself as usual, and that it has nothing to do with Theresa. Theresa reiterated her declaration that proof exists that Gwen is behind Ethan's tabloid scandal. Gwen vehemently denied it. Theresa begged Ethan not to leave until she can get her hands on the proof. Ethan turned a cold shoulder to Theresa's pleadings. Theresa admitted she can't live without Ethan. Gwen told her they don't give a damn. Theresa promised Ethan and Gwen if they stayed in Harmony she'll leave them alone and not cause trouble for them. Gwen said her promises mean nothing and reminded her of her broken promises to God when she promised to leave Ethan alone if he would bring Ethan out of his coma. Ethan stressed that this move would be best for all of them, and it would help Theresa forget about him. Alone in their bedroom, Ethan professed his love for Gwen, who was enthusiastic over Ethan's idea to relocate. Ethan's neck was still stiff from the coma. Gwen gave him an erotic massage and the two quickly made love.

Julian happened upon Theresa, who went psycho and attacked him, blaming him for sending Ethan and Gwen away. Julian calmed her down and suggested they have a drink in the library to discuss things. Julian said now was a critical time for Crane Industries, and he has to make decisions that's best for the company. He suggested that sometimes it's necessary to look past oneself, and then recommended that perhaps after years of chasing Ethan it's time for her to move on. Theresa became enraged at the prospect and threw her glass against the wall in defiant anger. Julian tried to talk some sense into Theresa and urged her to move on with her life. Theresa said she loves Ethan too much to ever let go, to Julian's dismay.
