As Miguel marveled over his gorgeous daughter, Tabitha was sure to point out all he'd missed by being away. There was still tension between Kay and Fox over the fact that she hadn't told Miguel they were engaged, which Ivy loved. She tried to rile Fox up, but he did his best to not let it get to him. When Kay started to tell Miguel, he interrupted her to compliment her on the job she'd done with Maria. Before she could explain that Fox was part of what made her so happy, Maria called Fox "daddy." Miguel tried to let it roll of his back, assuming the misunderstanding was because Fox was Kay's boss, and took Maria from Fox' arms. Seeing how hurt Miguel was, Kay worried about how he would take the news that Fox would soon be living with Maria. "You didn't force him to abandon you and Maria," Fox countered. "And if Maria calls me daddy, it's because I'm the one whose been there for her and I'm the one whose going to be there in the future." (You tell her, Fox!)

After catching the kiss Katherine planted on Martin, Pilar stormed out, ran into Theresa and announced again that the wedding was off. "Your father would rather be with his whore," Pilar cried. "That's all there is to it." She refused to be in his bed if she couldn’t be in his heart, but Theresa told her mother to fight for him by going through with the wedding. An unknowing Martin continued to push Katherine away, swearing he'd honor his commitment to Pilar. She questioned him about the commitment he made to her when they exchanged vows in Mexico. "I was wrong to abandon my wife and my children," he said, adding that he'd been devastated when he realized he couldn't come back to them all those years ago. It only made him feel worse that Pilar hadn't given up on him. "I am your true love," Katherine insisted, but he swore he loved Pilar. Pilar returned in time to hear him say he had "an obligation and a duty" and called him out on it.

The mystery woman called Maya and chided her for giving Noah her cell phone. Maya swore she and Noah knew nothing, but the woman insisted they were the key to finding her partner's killer and the stolen package. "The package hasn't surfaced, so the killer hasn't tried to sell it," she said. It was then revealed that Maya worked for the woman and had been since she and Noah first dated. After Maya hung up, Noah arrived and went on the attack, demanding the full story. The woman listened in as Maya denied knowing more. "I've had it," he said. "I'm going to the police," so the mystery woman called to tell him that "could be fatal to your friend Fancy." An exasperated Noah wondered how she always knew the things he'd told Maya. "You're working with them, aren't you?" he demanded. Maya played dumb, not mentioning the bug that was planted in her necklace, and claimed she was "as much a victim as you are." He tried to locate the bug and even zeroed in on the necklace. When he took it from her, exposing the bug and stomping on it, the mystery woman was furious!

It looked as though Sheridan had finally seen Luis and then as though he were dead, but alas, no. It was a misunderstanding turned into a cliffhanger. Luis was in the next cubicle, battered, bearded, unconscious and mumbling Sheridan's name. Sheridan and Chris wondered after his identity, as did the medical staff. After fretting over losing their lead on Marty when they'd been so close, Sheridan's thoughts turned to Luis and their past lives. She wondered if he was sending her a message from beyond, but assured Chris, "I'm married to you now and I'm committed to us and our family." They lost track of Luis again, but he was just in radiology. The nurse told her she could see him once he was in a private room, but warned that he was still unconscious. We ended with the same cliffhanger as yesterday: Sheridan walked into a room and gasped, "Oh my God," but what was she seeing?

Armed but not too dangerous, Noah met the mysterious woman who'd been calling Maya. She cooed over how hot he was and sighed, "It would be a shame if anything happened to you." She informed him that Fancy's injury was an accident, with the "agent" involved getting carried away. Noah swore he wouldn't let anyone hurt Maya or Fancy, but the woman told him to "stop acting macho and start acting wisely." She told him they'd already be dead if her people had wanted it. When he kept being macho, she beat him up. Once recovered, she revealed that the man who was shot all those years ago was her partner and that going to the police would get him, Fancy and Maya killed. She wanted him to tell her where to find the killer and the package stolen that night, but he had no idea what she was talking about. "Then find out," she directed. She pulled a gun on him and told him to do her bidding or they'd all die. He worried the task was not "doable," but she had every confidence in him as she left.

Having spied Katherine's scratches on Martin's back, Pilar went ballistic. She slapped Martin and raged about his "whore." He tried to explain, but she wouldn't believe him and stormed out, saying, "I'm so done with all of this, and I'm done with you." Katherine showed up to stop him from chasing after Pilar. He was furious she'd set this up and hurt Pilar. She was unapologetic and kept making advances. He insisted he wouldn't leave Pilar, to which she responded, "I did it for you. You don't have to leave Pilar. She's already left you."

An emotional Pilar found Father Lonigan in the kitchen and called the wedding off. Father Lonigan referenced his earlier chat with Martin and assured her that Martin hadn't broken his vows to be with Katherine. He pleaded with her to "do your very best to try to mend this marriage." Pilar pulled herself together and agreed to give Martin a chance. Unfortunately, she walked in just as her nemesis planted another kiss on him.

Fox walked in to see Kay, Miguel and their daughter looking disturbingly familial. Ivy played it for all it was worth, calling the moment "intimate," but Fox refused to be cowed. He walked in to say hello. Miguel said he was excited to see his family and "just seeing Maria was worth the trip." Ivy tried to get Fox to leave Kay and Miguel to themselves, but Fox instead suggested they make a toast. On the way out of the nursery, they picked up Endora and Tabitha, who'd been watching from the hallway. Miguel charmed Endora, but she knew he was no Fox. Fox was on edge as Kay toasted Miguel's return. After they caught Miguel up on all the local happenings, he wondered why Kay left out their engagement.

Theresa used Jane as an excuse to talk to Ethan and then asked if she could feed their daughter. He showed her how to burp Jane and she became emotional over not knowing her anymore. Ethan asked her not to start. Then they put Jane down for a nap, so she'd be cheery for the ceremony. When Ethan walked out, Little Ethan ran into his arms. Little E complained that he had no one to play with since Ethan moved out and wished Ethan was around. "Don't you like me anymore?" he asked. When a guilty Big E explained they'd had to find "a place to call home for our family," Little E only felt worse. "I thought I was part of your family," he whined, and Theresa sent Big E away.

Chris questioned the stranger he'd saved — who just happened to be Luis. The time in captivity made Luis' eyes sensitive, so Chris kept them protected for him and wondered after his identity. Sheridan, who'd found a car with a dead cell phone, showed up and asked the stranger questions, but Luis still couldn't answer. He faded in and out as he looked at her through the material protecting his eyes, which led to a nice montage of their history. None the wiser, Sheridan and Chris loaded him in the car and set out for the hospital. When she mentioned his name, he groaned. At the hospital, Luis was taken away as a John Doe. Sheridan prepared to follow just as they uncovered his bearded face.

While awaiting the next call from the "bad guys," Noah got the third degree from Sam. The former police chief knew something was up and refused to leave until he heard the whole story. He stressed that this was much more serious than dropping out of school and that Noah needed his help, but Noah refused to oblige. "You're so damn stubborn," he grumbled, to which Noah responded, "Yeah, I wonder where I get it from." Sam gave up for the moment, but warned his son not to lose Fancy over it. Noah was alone when Maya's phone finally rang. "You're dealing with me now," he told the woman on the other end. He insisted Fancy knew nothing and when he didn't get the response he wanted, set up a meeting at the Harmony wharf. Before leaving, he broke into a locked cabinet to get a gun.

Fancy caught up with Katherine in the kitchen. Katherine warned that life isn't always cut-and-dried, and that Noah may have a reason for keeping this secret. When Fancy admitted she'd thought he was her soul mate, Katherine told her, "True love hardly ever runs a straight course or even a fair one," and urged her not to give up on Noah. Sam came in after Katherine left her and tried to comfort her. "If it makes you feel any better, he won't let me know anything about the situation with his old girlfriend either," Sam said, adding later, "When we fall in love with the right woman, we fall. Noah loves you and I think he'll love you for the rest of his life." As nice as that sounded, all Fancy wanted was the truth. Sam asked if she loved Noah enough to trust him and she admitted she was worried about him.

Fox and Kay reveled in their new engagement, while Tabby shook her head. The trio tried to toast the big moment, but the champagne glasses broke instead of clinking. Kay refused to believe it was a warning. "It won't be long till someone is sweeping up the fragment of your shredded, tattered heart, my dear," Tabitha sighed. When they took the kids outside, they ran into Father Lonigan. Fox asked him to perform the ceremony when the time comes and then went after the kids, which gave the priest a chance to question Kay. He reminded her of how far she'd gone to get Miguel, "the man you literally sold your soul to be with," and asked if she was really over him. When she assured him she was, he worried she wasn't telling the whole truth. Then Kay went after Marie and, much to Tabby's chagrin, the priest focused his attention on baby Endora. He recognized a "pure and loving soul. A truly spiritual essence." Tabitha was not pleased to hear her daughter was "g-g-g-good."

An excited Ivy welcomed Miguel home and ushered him into the living room, but Kay was already outside. She offered to look for everyone, but Miguel wanted to freshen up first. Before heading to the East Wing, he asked Ivy to let his return be a surprise. Later, Ivy caught up with Fox, who told her about the engagement. Kay meanwhile walked into the nursery, where she was shocked to find Miguel with Marie. Fox was not pleased to walk in shortly after and see them looking ever the happy family.

Pilar brought Martin's cufflinks to his room and was surprised and upset to find him there. He told her to forget superstition and cooed about how thrilled he was to be remarrying her, but then she asked him if that was what he really wanted. "There's something you need to know," Martin warned, but then only talked about his joy at their first wedding. Then she realized Martin had makeup on his shirt, so he took it off — which meant she saw the scratches on his back, just as Katherine had promised. (Someone's in trouble!)

With the mysterious body bag over his shoulder, Chris led Sheridan out of the self-destructing Crane house in Hawaii. Sheridan tried to ditch him to look for Marty, but he wouldn't let her. Instead, he broke through a window, sent her through it and passed the body to her. With Chris still on the inside, the place blew up. Both survived so they split up. Sheridan set out to find a car to chase after Otto, while Chris uncovered the body. It was Luis!

Ivy convinced Fox that Kay had been sneaking to her dad's to moon over an old picture of her, Maria and Miguel. Fox was unsettled when he left and Ivy was glowing as she filled in Valerie. The pair rubbed their hands together at the thought of Miguel returning to "feed Fox's fear."

Theresa continued giving Ethan the hard sell on taking the Crane co-CEO gig until Ethan reached his limit. He called her on having asked for his help in order to manipulate him into taking the job. "Game over," he said, walking out on her. When she opened the door to follow him, Ivy was on the other side. She called Theresa out on all her machinations and told her to give up. A barely swayed Theresa went on to have a wedding fantasy that had Ethan thanking her and Ivy tied and gagged in the first row. "My dream will come true," she promised herself.

As Tabitha, Kay and the babies arrived at the Crane manse, Tabby and Endora sensed big trouble ahead. Tabitha foretold "major misery and upheaval at Casa Crane," with Kay "at the top of the hit list." Endora gave her mom a zing when she considered letting Kay fall to her fate, but Tabby explained that it was Kay's fault since she wouldn't believe in the Crane curse or the trouble Miguel's return might cause. Fox met up with them in the living room, where Kay tried to quell his fears. Still unnerved, he pushed her to marry him sooner rather than later. He questioned when she'd become superstitious and asked if she was hiding another reason to hold off. When a business call pulled him away, Kay informed Tabitha that she was going to accept. Endora begged Tabitha to stop her, but the old witch was at a loss. Kay accepted and the pair got officially engaged… which was just when Miguel showed up on the doorstep.

Pilar smacked Katherine for saying she'd been in bed with Martin and left marks on his back. She then accused Katherine of being corrupted by Alistair and willing to do anything to get Martin. Katherine agreed she would do anything, because she and Martin were meant to be together. No matter what insults Pilar threw, Katherine calmly referenced the scratches on his back. She then reminded Pilar that Martin had initially asked her for a divorce and accused her of using religion to keep him. Pilar broke down and kicked her out. Katherine obliged, but not before saying, "You can't get me out of Martin's heart. Or take my place in his bed." Pilar collapsed in tears, but then remembered all of Martin's reassurances. "I will not let Katherine make me doubt my husband," she concluded, but then set out to confront him.

Father Lonigan remained insistent that Martin not marry Pilar unless he was over Katherine. Martin swore he'd be faithful to Pilar, but when the priest asked, "In mind and body?" he couldn't respond. The priest tried to get him to say anything about his feelings for Katherine, but he only thanked the priest, made it clear he would move forward with Pilar and went upstairs to prepare for the ceremony. Of course, once up there, all Martin could think about was Katherine, but he concluded, "I love Pilar too, and I'm going to prove it." As he bared his scratched back to change clothes, Pilar stood on the other side of the door trying to decide her next move.

Knowing what Sheridan and Chris were about to find, a reluctant Otto prepared to press the self-destruct button. Sheridan listened from the secret door, hearing Chris trip and fall in the corridor. Chris was horrified to realize he'd tripped over a breathing body. Sheridan of course assumed it was Marty, but Chris quickly told her it wasn't a child. Her next thought was Beth, so Chris brought the body out into the light to investigate. Their efforts were interrupted when a warning sounded, starting a countdown to destruction. Chris rushed out with the body over his shoulder, urging Sheridan to follow. "But what about Marty?" she cried, to which Chris responded, "We can't save him if we're both dead."

Simone ran into Rae at a lesbian bar and told her she no longer had questions about her sexuality, which made Rae wonder why she seemed upset. Simone revealed she felt like an outsider looking in. With Kay talking marriage, she'd realized she'd never have the normal life she and Kay had dreamed about as kids. Rae empathized, but also noted that gay marriage was on it's way to being accepted. "Things are looking up," she toasted, but single Simone was still down because she had no one to love. She recalled her obsession with Chad and revealed that she now understood she'd been "in love with the idea being in love," not Chad. She'd believed Rae might be ''The One," until she'd realized Rae didn't mean the things she said. Rae said she'd meant everything when she said it and, after taking Simone's hand, said she just might be The One. After she explained that she'd distanced herself from Simone because she feared Simone was just dabbling in women, they both revealed they still loved each other. They agreed make another go of it, sealing the deal with a kiss.

Ethan finished going over the plans with Theresa and refused to let her give him all the credit for the project. He reminded her he would be there to run things by until she hired someone, but that he wasn't coming back to Crane or taking over the project. When Ethan realized how long they'd been working, he wondered why Gwen hadn't called. He thought it was strange how much work Collier was throwing at her right off the bat. That's just when Collier called to say he'd given Gwen even more, which left a confident Theresa thrilled and ready for one of her "Ethan chose me" fantasies. When Ethan went to call Gwen, Theresa casually let him know she might work with Mead Bros Developing. He told Mead was the wrong way to go and advised her to hire locally, thus creating jobs and getting locals involved. Theresa apologized for messing up Ethan's dream project and again pitched the project and the Co-CEO title to him.

Father Lonigan warned Martin to be sure of his feelings for both Pilar and Katherine before committing himself to Pilar. Martin said he'd turned Katherine down and was ready to honor his wife, but Father L warned that love, not obligation, was a reason to get married. Martin insisted he felt both. "Pilar does not deserve more pain," the priest said. "Don't make a promise you cannot keep." Martin remained committed to going ahead as planned, but was pointedly unable to say he was over Katherine.

Katherine barged in on Pilar to convince her to let Martin go. "I am not going to play the martyr this time," Katherine shot, and informed Pilar that Martin was marring her out of guilt. "You just don't want to admit it to yourself." When Pilar insisted he was over her, Katherine said that wasn't the impression she'd gotten "when I was naked in his arms." Pilar refused to believe her, but Katherine maintained that Pilar had come by the house the night before because she'd wanted to make she Martin wasn't with her — which of course he was. Pilar was sure that he'd sent Katherine away, but she dropped another bomb. "We were in bed when you came to the door," she said, and told her to look at Martin's back for proof.

The chase at Alistair's lair continued, with Otto revealing that if Sheridan and Chris found the nursery, "All our lives are at stake." Sheridan and Chris, meanwhile, burst into the nursery bathroom to find a woman cleaning the tub. Unfortunately, she didn't speak English. When they slipped into another room, Sheridan followed her instincts and found a locked, hidden door. Chris broke it down and went in to investigate. Sheridan, waiting at the door, panicked when she heard something crash inside and Chris didn't answer her calls. On hearing that they'd gotten into the secret room, Otto revealed, "I have no choice but to blow this house sky high, and everyone in it will be blown to bits!"
