Tabitha, a shirtless Fox and Siren spotted Kay kissing a shirtless Miguel. "It's all over, Kay," said Fox. She cried out to him and collapsed. The men realized Kay was having a seizure. Miguel explained that Kay had received an electric shock. Dr. Eve was summoned to the scene and revived the patient. When Fox questioned Kay about the kiss, she said it was natural for her to kiss Miguel. Ivy was privately delighted at the friction between Kay and her son. A gleeful Siren rushed to comfort Fox.

In Rome, Paloma and Simone searched Prometheus for Jessica. Indeed, they found her in the nightclub — kissing Spike. They secretly observed and wondered why she wasn't fighting off the creep.

Luis, Noah, Ethan, Fancy, Whitney and Theresa discussed tracking down Alistair and J.T. Of course, Gwen was secretly pleased that J.T. got away before he could expose her tabloid leak to Ethan. Noting that some of the cave-in debris was made from Styrofoam, Luis realized Alistair set them up. Luis, Ethan, Noah and Fancy found a passage through the catacombs and took off in pursuit of the evildoers. Luis received a phone call from Paloma summoning him to the club. He, Fancy and Noah went to help the girls. At Prometheus, Luis charged Spike and demanded to know where Alistair is. Noah and Luis threatened to send the pimp/dealer to jail for what he'd done to Jessica. When Spike smugly said Jessica could not testify against him, she revealed that they are married!

The prophetic nun thrilled Theresa with the news that she would be with the man she loves. But, the sister warned, there would be great pain.

J.T. and Alistair escaped to a secret room, it was a comfy duplicate of Alistair's library in Harmony. Crane explained that he had copies of the room in various countries. Hearing someone approach, Alistair drew his gun. It was Beth, who was giddy to see her dad and learn he had the chalice. Crane wasn't pleased when Edna came along, followed by Norma a.k.a. Luigi. When Beth referred to Alistair as her daddy, Norma confused him with her own dad and threw herself into his arms. Alistair forked over cash to Edna and Norma to ensure they stay on the run. The loons stuck around to observe Crane trying to tap into the chalice's power. Edna was duly impressed. Suddenly, Alistair announced that the power of the chalice is his. The chalice emitted a red glow, the room shook and there was a blinding light. "I will destroy them all!" Alistair crowed.

Kay and Miguel discovered the washing machine was broken. While Kay wiggled a wire in an attempt to fix the machine, Migs ran across memorabilia of Maria's younger days. Miguel felt bad that he wasn't there to help when their daughter was little. Once again, Kay messed with the wires, but this time, she and Migs were electrocuted. An electrical fire started. Miguel woke up and tended to Kay, who woke up and kissed him.

In Rome, Theresa continued to beg J.T. to tell Ethan who his source for the paternity story was. With a nervous Gwen standing by, Ethan was eager to hear the truth. Whitney interrupted, but that didn't stop Theresa from rehashing all the proof J.T. has against Gwen. Ethan asked Cornell if he actually has the evidence to back up Theresa's words. Whit told her best friend that a nun needed to speak with her right away. Theresa refused to leave until J.T. exposed Gwen.

In the church basement, Luis choked Alistair, who was holding the chalice. Worried that the cup would get broken, Chad tried to take it from Al's strong grasp, but failed. Fancy asked Luis to stop killing her grampy. He let go of Alistair when she pointed out that Luis could go to jail and never be with Sheridan again. Fancy comforted her grandfather. Alistair pulled a lever that caused a cave-in. When J.T. was knocked out, Theresa tried to wake him up so he could show Ethan the picture. Fancy continued to be concerned for her grampy's health. Everyone, one by one, was buried; Luis with Fancy, Whitney and Chad, Ethan on top of Theresa... and lonesome Noah, who was the first to come to and free himself. They all slowly woke up and thought Al must be buried near the fireplace. Fancy asked for help to get him out. Theresa and Ethan tried to find J.T. in the mess. The gang were shocked to realize Alistair and Cornell were gone. Alistair (with the chalice) and J.T. ran off to another part of the basement.

At the restaurant, Norma, er, Luigi, realized the customer Edna was yapping with is Beth. Mrs. W found out that Luis is in Rome and thinks Beth and Marty died. Norma stood up for Edna when Beth threatened her momma. Beth questioned the women about their relationship. Norma and Edna recalled being on a ranch. Their flashback was very Brokeback Mountain. Hmm... If only Beth could quit Luis like the two travelling women brushed off the hunky cowboys who offered to give them a cowpoke. Back in reality, Mrs. W and her gal pal insisted that Beth get them money from Alistair, so Bethie made a call. Edna tried to knock sense into her daughter's crazy head that she never had Luis and never will. Beth informed her mom that Fancy was now dating Luis. Beth received a call and told her mom she will get the money.

A wrench-gripping Siren continued chasing Tabitha and Kay around the house. Fox and Miguel (who was bailed out of jail by Fox) returned home to hear Kay scream. Kay told the boys that Siren was trying to kill them. Endora worked her magic to turn the wrench into a pie, therefore, Kay looked like a big liar — and a bit crazy. Fox told his fiancĂ©e to apologize to sweet-looking Siren. Kay sounded even wackier when she said Endora switched the wrench and pie. Fox and Miguel still didn't believe Kay's theory that Siren is a mermaid, even though she pointed out all the unreal things that have gone on in Harmony through the years. In private, Migs told Fox not to blame Kay for her outrageous imagination because she's been through a lot. In the other room, Endora caused the pie to hit Siren's face. Of course, it looked to the guys like Kay did it! The witchlet worked her magic again to remind Fox how much he loves Kay, no matter how she's been acting. In bed, Siren and Miguel kissed until he heard Maria crying in the other room. Siren grew frustrated. Kay and Miguel comforted their daughter in the nursery.

In Rome, Luis talked to Alistair and J.T. from behind a locked gate. Al assured Cornell that nobody was going to get to them. Crane then got pen and paper ready to write down the ancient text engraved on the chalice. Theresa and Gwen argued about the same ol' who-betrayed-Ethan stuff. J.T., worried that Theresa would reach him, ran out of the basement. Ethan, Gwen and Theresa cornered the reporter. Ethan wanted the whole saga to end, so he demanded J.T. tell all. Theresa pointed out that she can't be bribing Cornell because she no longer has access to the Crane fortune.

Noah and Chad worked at picking the lock while Luis and Alistair exchanged blame for the detective losing Marty and Sheridan. Noah told Al he knows he set him up with Maya, Lena and the FBI. Meanwhile, a teary Fancy listened quietly. Noah signaled to Chad that he got the lock loose. Fancy confronted her grampy, but he defended his actions. Luis informed Al that Marty is dead, then barged through the gate. Alistair threatened to smash the chalice. Though Chad was adamant about getting the chalice to a safe place before killing Al, Luis went in for the kill.

The old nun told Whitney she had a vision that what Whit desires most is within her grasp. "You will have what you want," she assured Whitney, who didn't believe her. Once Whit walked away, the nun mumbled that once the girl has her true desire, she will lose it. The sister then told Whitney that Theresa needs to be warned about the man she loves.

Tabitha chatted with Endora about Siren and Kay. Kay walked into the kitchen and snapped at Tabs. In turn, Tab pointed out that Kay's effort to prevent Miguel from bedding Siren by throwing him in jail isn't going to keep him from the mermaid forever. Tabitha asked Endora to send Siren away, but her daughter refused. Then Kay tried to bribe the witchlet, but Endora still wouldn't budge. Meanwhile, an eavesdropping Siren barged in and exchanged nasty words with Kay. Tabs tried her magic on Siren, and she disappeared. Kay and Tabby's excitement was cut short when they heard bubbles from the drain. After Tabs plunged the sink, a soaked Siren flew out. "I'm back," she smiled. While chasing Kay and Tabitha with a wrench, the fishlady threatened to prevent Kay from marrying Fox.

Norma and Edna worked at a restaurant. Norma (a.k.a. Luigi) chopped up food while Edna served the customers with her walker-turned-serving tray-on-wheels. While on her way out of Rome on a motorcycle, Beth brought Marty into the restaurant. Edna and Beth were happily surprised to see each other until Mrs. W dumped spaghetti on her bratty daughter's head.

Theresa and Noah walked through the piazza, where they heard the chanting of the blind monks. They rushed to find Alistair.

In the church basement, J.T. continued his phone conversation with Gwen, who told him she will help him get out of Rome. Alistair cheered while the chalice warmed in the fire.

At the church, Luis filled Fancy in on what Chad told him; that Alistair has a chalice that will make him rule the world. Whitney (finally out of disguise!) and Chad showed up, quickly followed by Noah and Theresa. When Fancy made a snide remark about Maya, Noah informed her that Maya died. He tried to explain the whole story to Fancy. Whit stepped in and assured Fancy that Alistair is evil; she called him the anti-Christ (pointing out that his initials are A.C.) Gwen sneaked in the church and hid behind a statue. She spotted Theresa and worried her enemy would find J.T. before she got to him. Luis broke the news to the gang that Marty and Beth were in a tragic accident. Theresa found Cornell's driver's license on the church floor. She called Ethan and told him to rush to the church. He realized Gwen wasn't next to him in bed. Ethan didn't believe Gwen could be at the church, so Theresa challenged him to prove her wrong. When Ethan arrived, Gwen slipped out and walked back in as if she followed her husband to the church. Once Winthrop was filled in on everything, he pointed out that the smoke was coming from outside. The Harmonyites walked out. Meanwhile, the thunder and lightning increased. They watched through a window as Alsitair heated up the chalice. J.T. demanded they escape, but Al wasn't about to leave.

Jessica pointed a gun at Spike while she yelled about him for teaming up with Alistair. He tried to tell his ex-hooker that he really did love her. Before she could shoot, he informed her that if he dies, she will go down for the murders of all her johns. "You're going to get the death penalty," Spike said. After convincing Jess that her father, too, will go to jail, she put down the gun.

Noah arrived at Theresa's hotel room and told her all about Lena, Maya, being involved with the FBI and the danger Jessica is in. Theresa vented to Noah about having to find J.T. in order to get Ethan back. The friends had a heart-to-heart, then searched the Internet for a shady charities that could be linked to Alistair. They found one that allegedly helps a monastery with blind monks. Theresa recalled Luis mentioning something about that church.

Whitney apologized to the Pope for helping Alistair get the chalice. He told her it wasn't her fault, but she now needed to get it back.

Fancy told Luis she is going with him to find her grandfather. Luis made it clear that when he does find Alistair, he will kill him.

Among the blind priests, J.T. told Alistair (who was admiring the chalice) he's in trouble with Theresa and begged for help. Fancy and Luis arrived at the church. Luis received a call from Chad, who told him that Alistair has the all-powerful chalice. Luis told Chad to get to the church right away, so he and Whitney headed over there. Meanwhile, Alistair brought Cornell to a cell in the basement of the church and ordered him to start a fire so he could heat the chalice and gets its secrets. Luis's detective nose smelled fire. He and Fancy started looking for Alistair, but stopped in their tracks when they heard thunder and lightning. "It may the beginning of the end of the world," said Luis.

After making love, Ethan asked Gwen if she knows J.T.; she denied having any connection to the tabloid reporter. Just then, Cornell called her cell phone to get money to leave Rome.
