PASSIONS Recaps Week Of July 10, 2006Friday, July 14, 2006 Ethan fell asleep after sex with Gwen and "woke up" to Theresa in bed with him instead. When things heated up between them, he really woke up from his dream and decided to walk it off. He walked straight to Theresa and was within potential earshot when she said, "I can't tell Ethan that Little Ethan is his son." Whit was excited to let the convent know she wouldn't be taking her vows. She and Chad mooned over their good fortune, but then Whitney went to say a prayer of thanks and Chad made a mysterious call. He let the person know he was back with Whitney, but promised, "Nothing is going to stop me from spending time with you" and "My having a wife isn't going to stop us from getting together." Katherine and Pilar put their conflicts aside to look after Sheridan at the hospital. While they watched, she dreamed of Beth, Alistair and Marty. When Alistair said, "I don't care who Marty calls mama. I'm raising him," both ladies screamed. Marty ran right into Beth's arms. As Sheridan screamed in her dream, her body went into seizures. With the doctors over her, she woke suddenly and announced Marty was going to die. Fancy walked straight up to Luis, admitted she was falling in love with him and planted a kiss on him. Noah, who was standing with Luis, was horrified and Esme tired to comfort him. Of course, it was just a Fancy fantasy. She later told Esme she wouldn't do anything to hurt her aunt. As Alistair and Beth got settled on a steam train out of town, she begged her daddy to bring Luis along. He denied her request and smashed his cell phone so Interpol couldn't track them down. When he left her alone, Beth called Luis from her cell and let him talk to Marty. When she asked if they could be together, Luis played along, saying he'd take her back in order to be with his son. A giddy Beth bought it hook, line and sinker, but a furious Alistair caught her and hung up. She wouldn't believe his theory that Luis was playing her. Alistair then made a threatening call to Chris. He warned that both Sheridan and Chris would die if Chris backed out of their plan. Chris bravely insisted their deal was off, but Alistair promised he'd pay for that, even if Al himself ended up in prison. After he hung up, Chris burned documents with the symbol on them, while a helicopter with Luis, Noah and Fancy approached the train. Luckily, Interpol had had enough time to trace the call to the train and they were in hot pursuit.
On board the train, an alarm sounded, letting Alistair know someone had a missile aimed at them — and it wasn't the helicopter. As Luis screamed for his son, a missile made contact and the train exploded.
Thursday, July 13, 2006 Whitney was floored that Theresa balked at telling Ethan her "big news," especially since his being Little E's father might be just the thing to get him back. Theresa countered that after the advice Ethan gave his pal who'd learned similar information, she feared he would just take Little E away from her if he learned the truth. Whitney was appalled that Theresa would keep a father from his son and called Ethan back over, but then didn't tell him. He and Gwen left the girls to discuss it some more, but Theresa concluded, "I have lost my last battle to Gwen." She then worried that Ethan might be the Harmonyite that e-mail predicted would die, but Whitney noted that Maya Chen fit the bill there. An unconvinced Theresa feared Maya didn't count. Things were heating up as Gwen straddled Ethan in their hotel room — until Ethan interrupted to wonder after what Theresa didn't tell them. Gwen was annoyed and rolled off of him, but Ethan maintained they should be prepared in case Theresa changed her mind and "drops a bomb on us." He suspected it had something to do with the paternity conversation he had with his pal. "It is all Theresa, all the time," Gwen complained. She didn't admit it, but she was unnerved as he scheduled their flight home. Back at the hospital in Harmony, Sheridan and her baby were stabilized, but she was still stressed out over the fate of Luis, Marty and Fancy. She sent Chris to get an update from Julian, who said he had Crane security looking for Fancy and would touch base if he got news from Rome. After they learned Sheridan was to spend the night for observation, Chris swore (to himself), "I'm doing the right thing. I have to protect Sheridan at all costs." Eve cooed over a miraculously recovering TC. Julian arrived as she hugged him and, looking a bit dejected, left the two alone without saying a word. TC apologized to Eve about the accident, as well as for pushing his family away with his "self-righteousness intolerance — quick to anger and slow to forgive." He was depressed and felt his life was worth nothing, but she assured him that she and the girls still love him, saying, "We're still family — me, you, and the girls." She offered to help him with his recovery, so he could be back to coaching by September. Then she told him that Julian was tracking down the girls. When Julian joined them to whisk Eve away for lunch, TC thanked him and sent her off, but then had excruciating head pains. After his doc medicated him and admitted he couldn't imagine the cause, Eve left with Julian, promising to return. TC had another shot of pain when he thought of Julian and Eve together and, as the couple celebrated their engagement and discussed him, TC fantasized that he and Eve would reunite. Though she was touched when her and TC's song came on, she seemed to still be smitten with her fiancé Julian.
Wednesday, July 12, 2006 In Rome, Theresa prepared to drop the bombshell on Ethan and Gwen that Ethan is really Little Ethan's father, but then hesitated when she considered the consequences, and didn't. Sensing Theresa really had something to say after all Ethan asked to speak to Whitney in private. As they waited Gwen put the screws to Theresa and taunted her. Ethan asked Whitney to tell him what Theresa was going to say. Whitney said she couldn't betray Theresa's confidence, and urged Ethan to let Theresa tell him in her own way. Whitney questioned Ethan on his feelings for Theresa. Ethan said he never denied he has feelings for her. Luis and Fancy were enraged as Alistair, Beth and Marty took off in a car. Fancy apologized for what happened. Luis said he had no choice but to save her from the lions, and the two pursued Alistair. Esme hit on Noah, who was drowning his sorrows at the bar. Noah rejected her advances. Esme persisted, and offered her ear and shoulder — and the rest of her body. Noah declared he's still in love with Fancy, and is a one-woman man. When Noah left to go off in search for Alistair, Esme followed him and planted a kiss on Noah just as they ran into Fancy. Esme mistook Luis for Fancy's latest beau. Luis said they're just friends. Later on, Esme privately told Fancy she can sense Fancy has feelings for Luis, while Noah questioned Luis about his intentions where his sister is concerned. Chris took Sheridan to the hospital with premature labor pains. There, Eve consoled TC, who was remorseful for his actions and choices he's made. Julian suggested she take a break, but Eve insisted that she stay. TC's doctor checked him out and gave him an excellent prognosis. The doctor admitted he didn't think TC would survive at first, and credited Eve's words to him while he was comatose for helping him pull through. As Sheridan was taken to a room and placed on a fetal monitor they summoned Eve. Eve arrived with Julian. Eve ordered some drugs to stop the contractions. Sheridan filled in Julian about what Alistair has been doing. Julian vowed to help Fancy and Luis find Alistair and Marty. Alone, TC's doctor gave him a pep talk and encouraged him not give up on life. Meanwhile the drugs Eve gave Sheridan began to kick in and her contractions subsided. Julian called Crane Industries, asserted himself as leader and threw the Crane resources into catching Alistair and finding Whitney, Simone and everyone else from Harmony.
Tuesday, July 11, 2006 Tabitha explained to Siren that Endora zapped up worker bees to rebuild her house before the fire marshal arrives. While the bumble bees swarmed over Tabby's brew, Ivy (who is allergic to bees) walked in and tried to spray the insects. The more she sprayed, the bigger the bees grew. Endora finally made the bees leave the house. Sam walked into the kitchen, and a frantic Ivy told him about the killer bees. Tabitha covered by telling the sheriff that Ivy must be hallucinating after choking. Just as Sam and Ivy were heading toward the living room, they heard construction going on at Tabitha's house. Sam and Ivy headed outside to see what was going on; a worried Tabitha, Siren and Endora followed. They were all shocked to see the house completely rebuilt. The fire marshal was upset that he was sent to a house that has zero damage. Tabitha acted as if she had no idea how such a thing happened. Ivy, not believing her neighbor, pointed out that the paint was still wet. Eve and Julian arrived at TC's hospital room and found out he's in a coma. "TC is gonna die," Eve said to Jules. Eve blamed herself for her ex-husband's accident, while Julian pointed out that TC is responsible for his own decisions and actions. TC mumbled and woke up. Eve was thrilled that he was okay. He explained that he felt like he had no reason to live. "I've lost everyone I care about," he said. Julian heard his woman tell TC that she wasn't leaving him. In Rome, Ethan asked Theresa what she was going to tell them that's going to change their lives. Gwen and Ethan walked away before Theresa shared the news. Whitney tried to talk her friend into waiting to tell Ethan. Theresa stopped the Winthrops from leaving. Just as she was about to tell all, they were interrupted by Ethan's college friend Gary, who thanked the lawyer for helping him. After Gary left, Ethan explained to Gwen that Gary got a woman pregnant while he was married. Theresa assumed Ethan advised Gary to marry the mother of his child, but Ethan did the opposite. Chris failed at taking away the video phone from Sheridan so she couldn't watch the lions attack Luis and Fancy, who were trapped in the catacombs. Luis put himself in front of Fancy so he would be eaten while she escaped. Before the lions got to them, Luis and Fancy pulled a lever in hopes that it would release a gate between the humans and the felines. Luis kept the lions away with a stick. Meanwhile, Beth and Marty tried to get out of the dark underground. Beth twisted her ankle and couldn't get up. While trying to get under a different gate, Luis spotted Marty. Fancy encouraged him to save his son; she got caught under the gate while the lion closed in on her. Once Luis helped Fancy to safety, she was upset that he missed out on saving his son. Marty disappeared. Beth and Alistair loaded him into a car and escaped. While worried about Luis, Fancy and Marty, Sheridan went into labor.
Monday, July 10, 2006 Tabitha explained to Siren why she couldn't have the fire marshal in her blazed home. The witch told Siren she needs her help. In the kitchen, Tabs, Siren and Endora mixed up a magical brew. Ivy entered the kitchen and was excited to see Tabitha cooking. She tasted the concoction and choked. Ivy then turned green, like the Incredible Hulk! Tabitha tried to help her, and finally a swift kick in the butt knocked food out of Ivy's throat. Ivy questioned Tabitha as to what she put in her recipe and demanded not to serve it to anyone. When Ivy asked what could have caused her to turn green, Tabitha suggested Grace put a spell on her. Endora and Tabs spilled sauce on Ivy so she would leave the room. Endora zapped the brew, which then made bumble bees fly out of it. Tabitha explained to Siren that they are worker bees sent to repair her house. Ivy heard the buzzing and headed back to the kitchen. In Rome, Theresa was thrilled to find Ethan alone so she could tell him he's Little Ethan's father. Whitney questioned her friend to make sure she really wanted to tell him the news. Theresa rushed over to Ethan and told him she had something to tell him that will change his life. She shared the news, then showed Ethan proof that he's her son's father. Ethan was thrilled. He lifted Theresa up in a hug and kissed her. When Theresa pointed out that he had to choose between her and Gwen, he chose Theresa! Gwen returned, spotted her hubby and Theresa kissing and prepared to hit her rival, but Ethan stopped her — then asked for a divorce. Gwen was shocked by her husband's quick change of heart. He pulled Theresa into another kiss. Ethan explained to his wife that he has two biological children with Theresa and wants to be with her. Gwen began to shake Theresa. No, it wasn't Gwen after all; it was Whitney shaking Theresa out of her daydream. Gwen did, however, walk up and ask Theresa what she was up to. Theresa informed her enemy that Whitney and Chad found out they are not related. Ethan interrupted the girls. Via a camera phone, Sheridan watched Luis and Fancy run from lions in the catacombs. Chris worried about his wife, and told her not to watch anymore, but she refused. Elsewhere in the catacombs, Beth asked Alistair to stop the lions because she doesn't want Luis to die. After Chris's attempt to get the FBI's help failed, a crying Sheridan prayed for Luis. It didn't help; Fancy and Luis were trapped!
