Spike dumped a pile of clothes on the bed for Jessica, then gave her a piece of jewelry. "Thanks, Spike," simpered Jess. "You LOVE me!" After, Jessica put on one of the outfits he'd brought her and thanked him for treating her so well. She admitted that she hated him when he forced her to marry him in Rome. Spike insisted that he loves her.

Kay and Miguel were about to get it on, when Tabitha interrupted them. Fox then came by and got romantic with Kay.... Tabby's case of "Witch's Virus," which basically looked as if someone painted spots on her hands, got worse. Tabitha listed a variety of symtoms for Endora to watch out for. Later, Tabby blamed Kay for her condition, explaining that all the insanity involving Fox and Miguel brought it on.... Miguel told Martin that he wants to have a family with Kay... Fox came by and was surprised when Tabby emerged wearing a space suit.... Miguel came to see Kay and she kissed him.

In the aftermath of Ethan catching them together, a half-naked Theresa and Jared stood about awkwardly. Jared invited her to spend the night; she accepted. They danced and kissed until the power went out. Jared went to see what caused it.

Ethan informed Gwen that he's representing Stuart. After, the couple enjoyed dinner together at the hotel. Gwen looked forward to having him all to herself. There, they spied Spike and Jessica. Ethan wondered what Jessica sees in her husband. Later, Gwen waited in bed for Ethan. Ethan stumbled around in the darkened hotel and just happened to wander into Theresa's room and bed. He crawled in, thinking she was Gwen. She grabbed him, thinking he was Jared.

Paloma, Rae, Simone and Roberto hung out. Paloma and Roberto invited the ladies out, but Simone wasn't sure. Everyone urged Simone to go out and not worry about what other people think of her being gay. Simone realized they were right and prepared for a night out on the town. When they arrived at the restaurant, they saw Jessica sitting there, waiting for Spike. Jess declared that she doesn't deserve Spike. They told her that she deserves someone better. Meanwhile, Spike met up with an associate to whom he owed money. That thug later grabbed Jessica.

Luis spied Fancy floating face-down in the pool. He quickly pulled her out and performed mouth-to-mouth. Fancy responded by pulling him into a kiss. Luis was annoyed that she faked drowning. Fancy said that she did learn a rescue technique so it was related to her training. He gave in and chuckled, then threw her into the pool. She pulled him in after her. Sheridan and Chris saw them messing around.

Tabitha cautioned Kay on her extreme plan to break Siren's curse by seducing Miguel. "Something tells me this is going to end badly, as things often do around her," groaned Tabby. The witch slipped out just before Miguel entered Kay's bedroom. Kay was wrapped in a towel which "accidentally" slipped to the floor. Miguel decided to tell Kay he loves her before she marries Fox. Kay prepared to make love to Miguel in order to make Fox jealous. Julian urged Fox to confront Kay about any second thoughts she may have about being together. "I don't need tricks or schemes to get the woman I want," Fox declared. They went into Tabitha's house, where Julian tried to visit with Endora. Tabitha wanted him to leave, but Julian warned he would take Tabby to court if she didn't let him spend time with their daughter. Desperate to keep Jules from being with Endora and learning she's a witch, Tabs tried to turn him into a rat, but her magic failed. Julian left after threatening Tabs. The witch was worried when Fox headed upstairs to see Kay.

Spike threatened to blab about Chris's past to Sheridan unless he embezzled money from Crane Industries. Spike hid when Sheridan suddenly showed up and revealed to Chris that Luis was running a background check on him. Chris was livid and noted that he saved the cop's life in Hawaii. Boothe assured his wife that Luis won't find anything on him. Sheridan said she was upset with Luis for not trusting Chris, but that she would never doubt her hubby.

At the police station, Paloma was thrilled when Roberto showed up. When Fancy asked Luis out for lunch, he reminded her that he couldn't fraternize with cadets. "Section Eight, Paragraph 11," cited Luis, as he threw the code book at her. A frustrated Fancy stormed away. Paloma explained to Roberto why she wants to be a cop and why she isn't ready to get married. Roberto was concerned for her safety, but wants her to be happy. They exchanged 'I love yous' and agreed that they just might get married in the future. Paloma pointed out that nobody seemed to be with the person they love, expect for the two of them. Luis received a call and immediately left the station.

Spike arrived at the Crane's indoor pool, poured himself a drink, then hid when Fancy arrived. While swigging a drink, Fancy wished Luis was with her to go for a swim. She panicked when she heard a noise. Luis arrived at the pool and found Fancy laying face down in the water.

As they worked in the hotel room, Theresa and Jared tried to maintain a professional relationship, but sexy music, oysters and chocolate-covered strawberries caused them to rip each other's clothes off. While they were having sex, Ethan, who was searching for a Stuart's room, walked in on them. He stalked off as Theresa called after him. Theresa explained to Jared that she didn't plan on hurting Ethan in the process of moving on. Ethan ran into Stuart Allen in the hotel lobby and agreed to take on his case against Crane Industries.

Siren continued to tease Kay about the difficulty of the third and final stage of the spell to break the mermaid curse. Miguel decided to tell Kay how he feels about her. Tabitha pointed out to Siren that Endora loves Fox more than the mermaid. In her room, Kay read that she has to make Fox jealous enough to kill in order to reverse the fish woman's curse. She realized she'd have to use Miguel to make it happen. Tabitha walked in and asked her friend what she's going to do for the third part of the spell. When Kay told Tabs her plan, the witch was worried.

Chris was livid when Spike arrived at the cottage. Spike told Chris that Luis beat him up at his club. Chris chuckled until the curly-haired thug ordered Boothe to kill Officer Lopez-Fitzgerald. When Chris refused, Spike blackmailed him once again.

At the police station, Sheridan yelled at Luis for doing a background check on Chris. She accused him of doing it because he's jealous. Luis informed her he's investigating her husband because he's suspicious of him and wants to protect her. Fancy stepped in and told her Aunt Sheridan that she agrees with Luis; it's weird that only Chris could provide an alibi for Spike. Sheridan defended her spouse and asked Luis to stop researching Chris. She told the cop that he's letting his personal life interfere with work. Things took a turn for the worse when Luis said she has made it clear that the two of them will never be back together. Miguel interrupted to talk to Luis about Kay. Luis was surprised to hear his little brother is in love with Kay. Migs informed Luis that Pilar told him to fight for Maria's mother, but he's conflicted about what to do since she's engaged to Fox. Luis encouraged Miggy to go for it. Miguel headed back to Tabitha's house. Fancy pulled aside a crying Sheridan and asked if she still wants Luis. Sher said she's grown closer to Chris since Fancy asked her permission to date Luis. Fancy again asked her aunt if she knows for sure that she won't leave her husband for her ex. Sheridan said she will never leave Chris and once again gave Fancy approval to romance Luis. Steps away, Luis continued to figure out what Chris's connection to Spike could be.

Ethan spied as Theresa and Jared locked lips in her office. "This guy is too good to be true," a green Winthrop mumbled to himself. When they stopped smooching, Jared asked Theresa if it's going to be a problem having Ethan working in the building. "Ethan has taken up enough years of my life. I don't care if I ever see him again," she said. Jared talked his boss into taking a lunch break before their big meeting. He then made a private call. Once they reached their destination, Theresa was impressed by Jared's surprise lunch in a hotel room.

Back in his office, Ethan had a meeting with Stuart Allen, who asked the attorney to represent him in a case against Crane Industries. He said they are using technology he got a patent on prior to working for Crane. Just as Ethan was turning down the case, Gwen walked in and asked her husband why he wouldn't do it, especially if the battle is against Crane. Stuart told Ethan that he chose him because he knows Winthrop has inside knowledge to the company. Gwen asked her husband if he was refusing the offer because of if being against C.I. or Theresa. In order to push Ethan to take the case, Gwen offered to check out Stuart to make sure he's legit.

Tabitha and Kay managed to get Fox to shoot an arrow into Siren's behind, which completed the first part of the spell to undo the mermaid curse. When Siren grabbed the spell book, Endora worked her magic to get it back and zapped the mermaid outside. The witchlet then made it so that they couldn't hear Siren banging on the window and yelling. Tabby's magic watch showed her that Siren was climbing up to the second floor window. Endora zapped the window shut. For the next part of the spell, Kay and Tabitha had to get Fox to make Endora laugh while hopping on one foot, eating an oyster and holding a candle under a ladder. Just as they got him to do so, Siren stormed in through the fireplace and blew out the candle. "Are you cooking tuna?" Fox asked. Tabby and Kay managed to get Fox do the wacky trick again. A bell rang, alerting them the second part of the spell was complete. Siren told her nemesis that she'll never be able to complete the third part. Tabitha read the book and broke the news to Kay that it was going to be difficult.

While playing basketball, Jared told Chad that he's excited about his future with Theresa.

At the police station, Luis showed Fancy how to load a gun, then showed her how to shoot it at the range. When she missed the target, Luis got behind her to place her in the correct position. Sexual tension grew between the duo. Fancy fantasized about kissing the officer. She then took two shots, one of which was a bullseye. Fancy credited Luis's teaching skills.

Theresa pushed away after giving in to Ethan's kiss. Ethan admitted he thinks about what could've happened if they had stayed together. "I keep trying to deny how much I love you but I can't do it anymore," he said before kissing her again. Theresa again pushed him off. Ethan revealed that Pilar told him to leave Gwen to be with Theresa. She asked if he wants to be with her. Ethan said he dreams about a family with her. Theresa demanded to know if that's what he wants. "I'm married to Gwen," he answered. She yelled at him for kissing her, but not leaving his wife for her. Then when she tried to move on, he tried to pull her back. "You need to let me go," she said before making him leave. When Theresa heard someone at her office door, she yelled for them to leave, thinking it was Ethan. But it was Jared, who offered her comfort. Chad peeked in and was happy to see the couple hugging. Ethan walked back to Theresa's office, but Chad told his friend that Mrs. Crane is too busy, then pointed out that Ethan is jealous of Jared.

Sheridan was excited about Chris getting a job at Crane Industries. He prepared for his interview. When Chris's cell phone rang, he covered by saying it was another job offer. When he answered in private, it was someone he hasn't talked to in months who is linked to his past. Sheridan headed to the police station. Chris was worried that she would see his Chris background check. However, at the station, Luis was upset that the information wasn't able to come through. Chris fretted about his situation. Sheridan walked in and found out the cops were running a background check on Boothe.

Luis was even more determined to bring Spike and Chris down after learning the same gun was used in Pilar and Chris's shooting, as well as one months ago at Spike's club.

At the Book Café, Spike threatened Chris, claiming he will tell Sheridan that Alistair hired him to marry her. Before he had the chance to tell his wife that he changed his mind and wants the job at C.I., she said he impressed Fancy by turning down the offer. When he broke the news that he now wants the job, Sheridan told her husband she needed to think about it. She eventually agreed that he should interview for a position at C.I.

At his destroyed nightclub, Spike bragged about reopening the place and selling drugs. Luis grabbed him from behind and threatened him. Fancy walked in and urged Luis to let go of Spike. She refused to leave when Luis told her to get out. Luis tried to push Spike into a confession by telling him his associates are ratting him out at the station. When Luis and Fancy walked away, Spike told them he will tell them anything they want to know. Spike pretended to cry, then made fun of Luis for falling for his trick and actually thinking he was going to confess. Luis punched him. The men brawled while Fancy screamed for them to stop. When Spike yelled police brutality and named Fancy as a witness, she faked temporary blindness. He mumbled about the lions not getting to Fancy when they had the chance. Luis asked Spike how he knew about the felines. The cop told Spike he has plenty of evidence against him to lock him up. The thug then slipped on scotch that Fancy purposely spilled. Spike received a call from Chris saying he was getting a job in C.I.'s accounting department. Back at the station, Fancy asked Luis if it was okay that she followed him. He admitted he would've killed Spike otherwise.

Ethan eavesdropped on Theresa bragging about Jared to Whitney on the phone. Once she hung up, Ethan walked in to talk about the custody case. Theresa yelled at him for defending Julian. Ethan told Theresa he doesn't trust Jared and wants him out of her life. Theresa told Ethan he doesn't like Jared because she fells "so right in his arms" that Winthrop can't stand it. She stood up for herself, pointing out that Ethan has been telling her for years to move on, but now that she has, he doesn't like it. Theresa cried telling Ethan that she needs to live her own life. Before she could finish her sentence, Ethan kissed her.

When Fox busted in on Kay and Tabitha plotting to break Siren's curse, Tabs covered by saying they were planning his birthday party. Kay and Tabs tied Siren up and wet her legs to make her tail appear. The women continued to follow the steps to breaking the curse. Kay had to get Fox to dress in a cupid costume. She told him Maria's daycare center is putting together a calendar and he is the man for February. He refused to do it until she suggested putting someone else's head on his body. Kay was thrilled to pluck a scale off of Siren's tail to add to the concoction. With Endora's help, Siren was trapped behind a large cardboard heart that Fox would have to aim his arrow toward. A humiliated Fox was ready to do the deed but stopped when he realized Kay wasn't even ready to take his picture. Endora made a camera magically appear. Fox completely missed the target twice. Meanwhile, Siren's tail was disappearing.
