Pilar urged Luis to move on with his life without Sheridan. Paloma chimed in that Fancy could make him very happy if he gave her a chance. Pilar wondered if it was true that Fancy was interested in Luis. Luis asked Paloma to stop playing matchmaker, but Pilar agreed with her daughter that Luis should give Fancy a chance. Luis said he cared about Fancy but he was still in love with Sheridan. Pilar urged Luis to give himself a chance to find happiness — and give her some grandchildren!

Katherine interrupted Fancy and Sheridan arguing over Luis. Katherine warned that Fancy was only setting herself up for heartbreak and she should find someone else, but Fancy bristled at taking love advice from Katherine, who had run away with a married man. "I love Luis," Fancy puffed. "Aunt Sheridan has a husband, in case you hadn't noticed." Sheridan said that Fancy didn't understand the situation, but Fancy spat that it was clear that Sheridan still wanted Luis. Katherine urged Sheridan to give love with Luis another chance, but Sheridan sighed that it was too late. Fancy again urged Sheridan to let Luis find happiness with Fancy.

By the time Fox found the alley outside the bridal shop, Kay and Miguel were gone. Ivy found Kay's clothing and wondered, loudly, why Kay could be running around undressed. A beachcomber told Fox that a girl matching Kay's description was with a dark-haired, good looking man on the beach. Ivy and Fox agreed that it sounded like Kay was with Miguel. Meanwhile, Kay told Miguel it was too late for them to be a family, but he convinced her to go to the beach with him. Kay was annoyed that Miguel hadn't realized his love for her years earlier when she was pining for him. Kay and Miguel recalled childhood memories. Kay resisted at first, but she and Miguel began to make love. "Oh my god!" Fox exclaimed when he saw something at the beach.

Ethan flashed back to nearly having sex with Theresa, but realized he had to let her go. Ethan ordered Jared to be good to Theresa or answer to him. Jared assured he wouldn't hurt her, but reminded Ethan that it was none of his business. Jared asked if Ethan went into the steam room. Ethan admitted that he did but lied that he left when he saw Theresa. Jared blasted Ethan for causing most of the heartache in Theresa's life. Meanwhile, Spike waited outside the steam room for Theresa to die. Theresa tried to escape, banging on the door and yelling. Afraid that he would be caught, Spike put the valve back on the steam valve and fled. Jared and Ethan heard Theresa's yelling and burst in to rescue her. As Jared tended to Theresa, she said Ethan's name.

Spike threatened Chris that he wanted the money from Crane soon or else he would tell Sheridan the truth about her husband. Spike realized that Theresa was the reason it was so hard for Chris to embezzle and mused that it might be time to "get rid" of her. Meanwhile, Ethan surprised Theresa in the Crane steam room. Ethan explained that he was conflicted about Gwen, but Theresa just wanted him to get out of the steam room before Jared returned. Ethan refused to leave. Ethan recalled his fight with Jared, and Theresa accused him of fighting over her, not work. Ethan told Theresa that he loves her. She asked if he had ended things with Gwen. Ethan admitted that he couldn't leave his wife. "That is why there is no us," sighed Theresa. "And there never will be." Ethan suggested that he could stay with Gwen and still have an affair with Theresa. Ethan reminded Theresa that she once made him that very offer, but he refused. Theresa sniffed that it would be too hard for them to be together that way. Still she was quickly drawn to Ethan and they began kissing and dropped their towels. But before long, Theresa pulled away. She asked Ethan to let her be happy with Jared and kicked Ethan out. He tried to storm back into the steam room, but Theresa locked him out. Spike turned up the heat in the steam room and broke off the control valve.

Luis promised Pilar that he would not give up until he learned who shot her. Luis lamented that losing Sheridan was breaking his heart. Paloma burst in and said Luis should give Fancy a chance. Pilar agreed and urged Luis not to repeat her mistakes. "No one is worth wasting a lifetime for, not even Sheridan," she reasoned. Pilar and Paloma warned Luis that Sheridan was not coming back to him — ever! Meanwhile, Fancy showed up on Sheridan's doorstep and railed at her aunt for leading Luis on. Sheridan maintained that Luis was her past, but Fancy scolded that Sheridan was "all talk." Fancy challenged Sheridan to leave Luis alone.

At the bridal salon, Miguel pleaded with Kay to break off her engagement to Fox. Miguel asked Kay to tell him that she didn't love him, but she couldn't bring herself to do so. Kay and Miguel kissed. Miguel argued that Kay would be settling if she married Fox. Meanwhile, Ivy schemed for Fox to catch Kay and Miguel in the act and sent Fox to Kay's dressing room. Unfortunately for his scheming mother, Fox got a business call that stopped him from walking in on Kay and Miguel. Miguel asked Kay to marry him instead of Fox, and they began disrobing and kissing heatedly. Fox knocked on the dressing room door and walked in when no one answered. He was shocked when he walked into the dressing room...to see the discarded dress on the floor with Kay and Miguel nowhere in sight. "This is the ugliest wedding dress I've ever seen!" Fox exclaimed, as Kay and Miguel escaped half-naked into the back alley.

Still fuming over getting dumped by Eve, Julian cut off all Crane funding to Harmony Hospital. "You think you're going to win her back by putting the hospital that she's devoted her entire life to out of business?" Fox asked as he continued to question his father's strategy. "You know how [Alistair] succeeded?" Julian responded. "He never let his conscience or his ethics get in the way. If one is to attain one's dreams, one must put those things behind him." Fox wasn't worried about Kay, but his father quickly got him worked up abut her. "I will do whatever it takes, even if I have to get rid of Miguel," he vowed and that made Julian smile. While Fox glowered and fumed, Ivy and Kay were squaring off over the ugly wedding gown Ivy purchased for Kay. "It's going to take a lot more than an ugly wedding gown to keep me from becoming your daughter-in-law," Kay promised, but she agreed to try it on after Ivy threatened to tell Fox that she'd refused. Meanwhile, per Ivy's orders, the saleswoman called Miguel and told her Kay wanted him to come by. Kay started talking to her reflection and was right when she said the ridiculous dress was "even worse on than off." She was worrying over her confused feelings when Miguel showed up. She told him she could never trust him after the way he chased after Siren, not to mention Charity back in the day. "I can't play these games anymore, Miguel," she shot, "That's why I'm marrying Fox — because he means the words that come out of his mouth." While Miguel explained how Siren had blackmailed him with a photo of them kissing, the saleswoman called Fox and told him to come try on tuxes. Smug Ivy peaked in just as Kay started kissing Miguel.

Fancy came back from being shot and nabbed her culprit — in virtual reality, of course. A proud Luis couldn't help smiling, but he quickly wiped the smile off his face to play teacher. "Had this been real life, Cadet Crane, chances are you'd be lying dead in the street right now." After class, Luis asked her to stay behind. He commended her, and admitted he'd made her simulation harder than the others, because he wanted her to be prepared and safe out there. "I care about you. A lot," he explained. She liked hearing that so much that she made him repeat it. Luis laughed when she apologized for using Sheridan to distract him and take him down during Judo class. "You used your opponent's Achilles heel to take advantage of him," he commended. She insisted his love for Sheridan was neither a weakness nor his Achilles heel, but he insisted it was. "The fact of the matter is I've hurt both you and Sheridan, and you need to know you are very important to me." Fancy noted that both he and Sheridan were stuck on each other and blamed Sheridan for sending mixed messages. "She keeps putting herself in proximity when she knows perfectly well that it is not to be. I mean, here you are trying to move on with your life, and every time you turn around, there she is." When he left to shower, she decided to tell Sheridan to back off.

Ethan and Noah continued their brotherly discussion about the Gwen/Theresa conflict. Ethan admitted sex was part of the pull with Theresa, but added that he loved her. Just like he loved Gwen. When he said he owed it to Gwen, Noah wisely responded, "If you ask me, the words 'owe' and 'married' do not belong in the same sentence." Ethan countered that he didn't like the idea of living without Gwen, but Noah continued to push him to choose Theresa. Ethan was concerned he couldn't live with the consequences of that choice, but Noah insisted life is too precious to spend with the wrong person. Too bad Ethan didn't know which one that was.

Jared and Theresa gave new meaning to the term "repetitions in the gym." With their clothes back on, they started lifting weights, but were soon making out on the weight bench. They were somehow undressed and into fluffy white robes for Jared's next surprise — a candlelit, champagne dinner. "No one's ever treated me this way before," she noted for the second time that night. After eating, they made out and then went to relax in the steam room. Jared warmed things up with a little ice play and it was back to making out again. When Jared left to grab some more champagne, Theresa realized, "I haven't thought about Ethan for hours. Jared takes care of me. In every way, actually." That's when a bare-chested Ethan walked in.

Eve couldn't believe Julian was the cause of the "unauthorized" construction at her office and did not consider it a fun surprise. "What would possess you to make such a huge decision that affects my professional life?" she marveled. "Have you seen my office, Julian? There are no walls. I can't work there." Julian explained that was the plan. He'd "forced" her to take a break, so they could take a cruise on the new yacht he'd bought. She was even more angered to hear he'd sent her patients to other doctors. When he explained he was feeling neglected, she railed, "I am furious because you didn't consult me. Julian Crane looked at the way this relationship was going. Julian Crane, he didn't like what he saw, so Julian Crane just rearranges everything to his liking. You didn't leave me any options, Julian. You just treated me like I was a puppet." She insisted she'd changed and that it was becoming more apparent every day that he hadn't. "I want what I want when I want it," she mimicked, and handed back her engagement ring.

Ethan and Theresa were both thrown by the tabloid cover about their triangle with Jared. In fact, at the office, Theresa even imagined that both pictures were talking to her and arguing their cases. "I'm confused," she cried, but then chose Jared over Ethan. Of course, Ethan's picture didn't believe it. Her insanity was interrupted by a call from Jared. She assumed the worst when he rushed her downstairs, but in the end, he actually had relaxing yoga in mind. "Why don't you let me help you unwind?" he offered, so she slipped into the yoga gear he's gotten for her. The session was relaxing for sure, but it was more like foreplay or tantric sex then yoga. In fact, it did turn into sex and Theresa was very appreciative. When Jared admitted, "Tess, I'm falling for you. Really falling for you," Theresa responded, "I know the feeling."

Ethan, for his part, was grumbling it out over coffee with Noah, who made a lot of smartass comments that weren't appreciated. "I love Theresa," Ethan complained, "I always have. And up until recently, I've been able to ignore those little voices in my head." Ivy arrived just in time to hear her son worry over losing Gwen and jumped right into the convo. Noah left them to have it out and Ivy was so negative and mouthy about Theresa that her son called her Rebecca. When she left to meddle in Fox' life, Noah resumed his post as advisor. "Maybe you owe it to yourself to make a decision once and for all," he suggested. "Maybe you should decide to pick Theresa."

Much to the amusement of Luis' trainees, Fancy wouldn't let Luis out of her death grip until he said "Uncle." As soon as she stood up to gloat, he took her back down with a leg swipe, to show that you never let your guard down. "If they don't kill each other, they'll have beautiful babies," Paloma said with a roll of the eyes. After a seven-mile run to simulate the exhaustion of a real-life chase, the trainees got into virtual reality training, which included goggles and a vest. "If you get shot in the simulation, the vest will zap you with a very powerful electric shock," Luis warned. Paloma was the first to suit up and chase the virtual bad guy and, as the group watched her on the TV, she got her virtual man. An impressed Fancy was sent on a five-block run to get back out of breath, allowing Paloma time to question her bro about giving Fancy a hard time. "You are super hard on Fancy out of sexual frustration," she said. He denied it and when Fancy returned, he had her suit up and start the drill, adding fog to the virtual scene. Fancy floundered and was shot.

Kay tried to get sleeping Miguel to return to his own bed, to no avail. Ever crafty, she got him under the blankets and staged a fall to cause a distraction when an amorous Fox showed up. By the time she got rid of Fox, Miguel was awake. Kay let into him for getting "hammered," staying out all night with Siren and then taking "some random pill" from Tabitha's medicine cabinet. She mimicked his previous profession of love, insisted he must have been feeding her a line, considering the display with Siren shortly thereafter, and stormed out to find a wedding dress. When she called Fox, he was finalizing their honeymoon. After some cooing, a saleswoman showed her "the ugliest dress I've ever seen." It was a gift from Ivy, who showed up just too late to miss Kay's reaction.

Kay put an unconscious Miguel in her bed just moments before Fox arrived to join her. Fox entered and began to kiss her as Miguel lay hidden under the covers. Kay narrowly avoided one disaster after another as she continually kept Miguel under wraps so Fox wouldn't see him.

At the police station, Gwen consoled a tearful Fancy, who said that Luis told her he loved her but called her Sheridan in his sleep. Fancy decided she's been wasting her time. Gwen tried to encourage Fancy, and told her if she plays her cards right Luis could be hers. Gwen managed to renew Fancy's hope that she has a future with Luis. Meanwhile, Paloma chastised Luis for breaking Fancy's heart. Paloma insisted Luis has to run after her and do damage control. Paloma said if he really loves Sheridan he will let her go and move on with his life, with Fancy. Paloma persisted in her sermon to Luis about how it's best for everyone for him to let go of Sheridan. Finally Luis angrily responded that he's tried, but he can't. Paloma told him to try again before everyone's lives gets destroyed. Later, Luis led his class of police cadets in a course in judo. Fancy volunteered to be his partner as he demonstrated some techniques. Fancy managed to upstage him and show off her abilities to everyone.

At Crane Industries Theresa was angry at Whitney's judgments of her. Whitney admonished Theresa for her actions with Ethan and predicted that things will end badly for all parties involved. Whitney told Theresa to stop playing a selfish game with Ethan and Jared and let Ethan go back to Gwen and move on in her life with Jared before bad karma forced more tragedy upon her. Whitney questioned Theresa's motives, and accused her of being a drama queen who is never satisfied unless she's in the midst of turmoil. Whitney said she could have a great life with her job and her money and her kids and Jared — if she allowed it. Whitney pleaded with Theresa not to blow things with Jared. Chad happened upon an unconscious Ethan and Jared, both of them passed out from fighting each other. When they came to, Chad admonished them for their brawling and demanded that they stop. Chad threatened to get rough with them himself if they didn't. Chad orders Jared upstairs back to his office and then berated Ethan privately. Chad said he's never seen him act like this before. Ethan revealed to Chad that he's enraged at Jared because he's territorial over Theresa because he's been sleeping with Theresa. Chad sympathized with Ethan and said he knows what it's like to love one woman and still want to see another woman on the side. Whitney walked in at that moment and overheard Chad and asked him if he's having an affair. Chad covered and said he knew based on experiences of friends of his back in LA. Whitney confronted Ethan about his affair with Theresa, and told him she thought he had better sense. Whitney said she cares about him and Theresa, but that their affair needs to stop. Gwen walked in at that moment and asked what needs to stop. Whitney covered and said she was talking about the tension among Ethan and Jared. The stress of everything clearly got to Theresa, who imagined that the photos of Ethan and Jared published in a tabloid story about the three of them were talking to her.
