At the Seascape, Whitney confided to Eve her worries that she just can't trust Chad. Chad arrived and presented both women with flowers, and professed his love for her. Whitney was annoyed and said she told him she needs time alone with her mother to think things out. Whitney said she doesn't care for being under the pressure of his ultimatum. Chad said he needs an answer one way or the other ASAP, so he can move on with his life. Eve defended Chad and told Whitney he obviously loves her so much. Whitney asked then why was he seen naked in a sleazy motel. Eve asked her who the source was. When Whitney said it came from Rebecca, Eve dismissed the allegations. Eve also dismissed Chad's late-night calls and disappearances as part of his work for Crane Industries. Eve encouraged Whitney to follow her heart. Chad returned with dessert and asked to speak to Whitney privately. Whitney told him he has been hovering and not giving her the space she's asked for. Chad said "guilty as charged," and handed Whitney something: a scrapbook of them and their relationship. Whitney was moved by Chad's apparent dedication, and Chad insisted that she's the only woman in his life. Whitney said she's still not sure, to Chad's dismay. Chad pressed for an answer. Alone after Whitney and Chad left, Julian took a seat at her table and Eve slapped him. Julian said he came to apologize for his past behavior. Julian admitted he made a complete ass of himself. Eve got up from the table to leave. As Julian tried to stop her she dropped her purse, and out popped her blackmail note. Eve saw the look of recognition in Julian's eyes, and accused him of being the one who sent it, but Julian denied it, and conceded he received one of his own. The two of them resolved to discover who was behind their extortion.

At the sting operation, Fancy kept calling for her partner Burt outside, but he didn't answer. The perp was listening to her calls on his radio as he continued to tie up Burt outside. Fancy tried her cell phone and it was dead. So were the land lines and the Internet. With no way to call for help, Fancy summoned her training and remained calm as she grabbed her gun. She stepped outside to survey the scene while the one masked perp watched her from the bushes. Hearing grunts she walked out in the yard to investigate. When she stumbled upon her partner, she went to untie him. With her back turned the perp accosted her and they began struggling. Fancy overpowered the perp and regained her gun, but the perp pulled a knife and threaten to kill Burt if she didn't drop her gun. Fancy surrendered her gun to the perp who then held her at gunpoint. He dragged her inside to the bedroom, threw her on the bed and prepared to rape her as Fancy screamed and cried. Luis kept trying to reach Fancy by phone but kept getting her voicemail.

Fox paid off a cop who gave him Charity's whereabouts, then summoned his Miguel and Charity doubles to prepare to perform a scene for Kay's benefit. Kay arrived just as the two doubles hid in the next room. Kay thought she heard voices. Fox covered and said he was practicing his wedding vows. Kay thanked him for the gorgeous necklace Fox left for her. "It's perfect, just like you," he cooed as he professed his love to her. After she left the room Fox's Miguel and Charity doubles reemerged with scripts in hand ready to perform their "scene" for Kay. Fox went upstairs and baited Kay by telling her that he saw Miguel downstairs talking to on the phone Charity. After Fox excused himself, Kay picked up the extension to eavesdrop on "Miguel" and "Charity's" conversation. At the police station, Miguel expressed to Luis his frustration at how difficult it is to track down Charity. After some more phone work he uncovered Charity's number, called her and reached her. Charity insisted they don't have a future together. Miguel agreed, told her he's in love with Kay and needs Charity's help.

At Crane Industries, Theresa and Ethan were making out hot and heavy in her office while Jared approached her outer office, prepared to pop the question. Jared remembered he forgot to send an important e-mail, to he went back to his office for a minute. After making out Ethan expressed his concern about Jared to Theresa, who asked him for proof on Jared. An angry Theresa told Ethan if he doesn't have the backbone to leave his wife then she never wants to see him again, and ordered him out of her office. Lost in thought about Ethan, Theresa jumped when Jared approached her. "Who else were you expecting?" he asked. Theresa covered, and Jared began to massage her to relieve her tension. But Theresa remained troubled. Jared said he stopped by to give her something — and they kissed as Jared held her engagement ring in his hand. Ethan made a beeline to JT's and demanded the dirt on Jared. Ethan said he needs to take out Jared before he hurts Theresa. JT needled Ethan about his interest in Theresa, but finally handed Ethan his envelope of dirt on Jared.

Chad joined an excited and nervous Jared on his hunt for the perfect engagement ring, but spent most of the time talking about Chad's philandering. "I may be seeing someone on the sly, but it's just sex," was Chad's excuse. Jared didn't care what it was, but maintained if wanted Whitney, he'd have to stop cheating. When the saleswoman arrived, she mistakenly took the sparring pals for "a lovely couple" ready to tie the knot. The guys took it in stride, laughing it off. But there was a strange look on Chad's face.... Eventually, Jared chose a whopper of a ring and left with hopes of proposing as soon as he saw Theresa. Before Chad could follow, Whitney showed up asking why he'd text messaged her to come to the store. "Are you going to bribe me into marrying you?" she asked distrustfully. He basically proposed again, begging her not to ruin their relationship over a feeling, but she couldn't answer him. She wouldn't even let him walk her to her date with Eve. When she left, he fingered the ring he'd bought her and made some calls to set a new plan in motion.

When Whit and Theresa concluded the big "Is Chad cheating?" debate, for the moment at least, Theresa revealed she was believing more in her future with Jared every day. Then angry Ethan stormed in, demanding to know if she was going to marry Jared. He recounted how Little E told him he was going to have a new daddy. Theresa was as surprised as he'd been (though happier!), but Ethan wasn't buying it. Always quick on her feet, Theresa then offered to trust Ethan's feelings about Jared, without proof, if he trusted her about Gwen. That turned into the "I'm married to Gwen" argument, but Theresa switched it around, trumping with, "One day, Jared could be my husband," and then, "You want me alone and needy so I will agree to be your piece on the side." Ethan took offense, insisted he loved her and when Theresa told him to let her go, he said that he couldn't and she didn't want him to. Then, with Jared approaching with a proposal in mind, they started making out.

Simone had Kay smiling for a minute as they unveiled the bridesmaid's dress, but then Miguel called from the tux shop. He insisted he'd prove he wasn't with Charity, but she told him to leave her alone. Later, she grumbled over Miguel's dishonesty and "skinny little tramp" Charity. Then Simone asked if she'd be able to forgive Migs if he admitted and apologized for his romp with Charity. Kay said she would not only forgive him, she'd still dump dying Fox. Her one caveat was that Migs had to convince her he'd never do it again. Simone pointed out that Migs had just called.

Not knowing Fancy was about to parade around as peeping Tom bait, Luis again explained that sex crimes were too dangerous for a cadet. When Miguel showed up, he told her to watch out for the "grinches out there" and hung up. Migs then caught him up on the Kay situation and asked for help finding Charity. Luis agreed to help, but with all the hot water he'd gotten in recently, he couldn't use police equipment. Miguel poured on the guilt until Luis agreed to skirt the rules by telling him what to do, but not doing it himself. There were "thousands" of Charity Standishes (yeah, right), but the guys narrowed it down and Migs found her. When Luis took a break to call Fancy and she didn't answer, he got a bad vibe, and rightly so. Over at the stakeout, Fancy felt guilty for lying to Luis, but not too guilty. She was armed and ready, with backup. Unfortunately, as she talked with Bert over the walkie-talkie, the knife-wielding peeping Tom snuck up behind him and heard their whole plan. The two men then enjoyed Fancy's strip tease while Fancy fantasized that her performance was for Luis. She got so into it that she jumped when fantasy Luis disappeared. She was feeling quite confident, but only because she didn't know the peeper was knocking Bert out with a rock. She went online to do some holiday lingerie shopping. Luis, meanwhile, followed his gut and checked on Bert and "Kelly." The peeper pretended to be Bert, but he didn't follow procedure and give the code. Luis demanded he follow protocol. Too bad for Fancy he remembered Bert saying the passwords!

Tabitha looked into her bowl and plugged the NBC finale of THE BIGGEST LOSER before getting down to business with Endora. She wondered why evil hadn't been defeated in the face of Miguel and Charity's recent lovemaking. Of course, as she ultimately saw, it was actually imposters who were getting it on, not Charity and Miguel. She couldn't wait to share the news with Kay, who was moping with Simone in the other room, but Endora wouldn't let her mother leave the kitchen. "Mommy's going to win this one, whether you like it or not. I am going to tell Kay the truth!" Tabby insisted and Kay entered just in time to hear it. When an excited Tabby started passing on the news, Endora took away her voice. She also changed what her mother tried to write down. Kay walked out none the wiser, intent on trying to make the most of her wedding to Fox.

At the tux shop, Fox was gloating over his success with the Charity and Miguel imposters. He took even more pleasure in the fitting because it was another way to stick it to best man Miguel. Miguel, who was on edge because Kay was mad at him, grumbled to usher Noah that he wanted to reveal his feelings, but Noah said, "This ain't checkers; it is chess. You've got to think ahead." As Fox listened in, Miguel decided he needed to prove his love to her and, with Noah's help, that he'd get Charity to call Kay and tell her he loved only Kay.

Luis and Fancy kissed in the police station, where they were likely to get caught. "These hands have a mind of their own," Luis quipped and then told her he had a getaway planned to celebrate her graduation. Sam interrupted their illegal canoodling to tell them he needed a female cop to be bait in his plan to catch a peeping Tom. Fancy immediately offered her services, but to her frustration, Cadet King Luis said no way. That meant another officer had to give up her night off. While Sam talked to Luis, Fancy helped the "bait" officer get dressed and was filled in on how the setup works. When she learned the officer had to cancel a date with her new beau, she sent the thrilled cop off and took her place. Her backup was worried, but she just rolled her eyes about "nervous Nelly" Luis. "Don't blame me if you get in trouble," he said as they set out. When Luis called, she lied about where she was. He apologized for not letting her go, explaining, "I don't like sex crimes. A bunch of sickos out there. You never know what's going to happen." Outside the window, meanwhile, the masked peeping Tom enjoyed the view.

Theresa, Jared and Little E returned to Crane Industries for more bonding. When Whitney interrupted, Jared took Little E for a bite at the Book Café and left the girls to talk. Theresa mooned over Jared and then she and Whit revisited Chad's ultimatum to marry him by Christmas or never. Unable to trust him, Whitney was considering the "never." Theresa offered to plan a fabulous wedding and asked if she wanted her to rehire the investigator to follow Chad again. At the Book Café, meanwhile, Chad caught Ethan on the phone with JT, pushing the reporter to keep up his end of the bargain and find dirt on Jared. Ethan tried to cover, but Chad just told him he wasn't going to find anything on Jared and to let Theresa move on. Ethan muttered that he was fine with her moving on, but not with Jared. Then Chad filled Ethan in on his ultimatum. "Does Whitney have reason to be suspicious here?" Ethan asked and Chad denied there was "another woman." Ethan warned that if he let Whit get away, he would be miserable. It sounded like he was describing himself, but before Chad could give him trouble, he was called away by Jared. Left alone, Ethan noticed Little E was there with his nanny. He was jealous when Little E raved about his day with Jared, but absolutely crushed when Little E told him, "I'm going to have a new daddy." He would have really freaked if he'd known that, having received Little E's approval, Jared was off buying an engagement ring with Chad!

Rebecca listened from JT's bathroom as Ethan went at JT. He had the tabloid king by the neck and demanded the real story on who outed him as Sam's son, but JT refused to change his story. He also refused to take a lie detector test. Ethan finally let go of him, but then got comfortable and promised to wait out the truth. He also pocketed JT's passport. JT then tried, unsuccessfully, to keep Ethan out of the bathroom. Rebecca snuck a peak from the shower as he took a leak and, impressed, cooed, "Gwen, you lucky, lucky, girl! No wonder she'll do anything to hang onto this man." Hearing something, Ethan threw open the shower curtains, but Beccs had jumped out to the ledge. Too bad for her, Ethan shut the window before returning to manhandling JT. When he spotted photos, including one of Jared and Theresa, Ethan demanded, "I want to know everything about this guy. Everything." JT didn't have any details, so Ethan struck a deal with the tax evader. "You help me get the goods on Jared Casey so I can help out a friend of mine, I'll help you make nice with Uncle Sam," he offered, and JT agreed to hunt for dirt.

Theresa and Little E convinced Jared to learn how to ice skate and a grand time was had, though Little E was disgusted when they played kissy face. After Jared crashed and took down four other skaters, he said he was ready to be on solid ground. "Sometimes you've got to take a leap of faith," Theresa teased. "Otherwise you're going to miss out on some pretty incredible opportunities." Jared slowly improved and said he enjoyed learning something from Theresa and Little E. Across the park, Chad found Whitney and Miles and got a less-than-warm reception. He quickly lost patience about Whit's suspicions, especially as Rebecca was her source that he was cheating. When he pointed out Beccs was always drinking, Whitney responded, "People tell the truth when they're drunk." When she said she feared love wasn't "enough," Chad responded that she was sabotaging their relationship by putting up "barriers." "I'm not big on ultimatums, but here's one: Marry me by Christmas or we're finished," he said, and he meant it. Whit complained that it was "unfair" and accused him of being "hostile," but he didn't care. He kissed Miles goodbye and left her to think about it. Whit screamed for Theresa and her friend came running. Theresa insisted they both knew Chad wasn't cheating and to get over it. Chad, meanwhile, stopped in on his secret lover.

Nearby, Fancy and Luis watched as Gwen pulled a weepy Sheridan aside. Sheridan, who was horrified by her desire to hurt Fancy and wondered if she had an evil twin inside of her, hoped Luis didn't know she was crying over him and he didn't. He assumed she was upset about Marty. Ever understanding Fancy gave him leeway to go support his ex, but Luis figured Sheridan had her best friend to support her and reminded Fancy that Sheridan blamed him for Marty's death. When Gwen decided to take Sheridan to Dr. Eve, Fancy tried to distract Luis with an invite to ice skate, but he was too worried and guilty. Fancy again insisted Marty's death wasn't his fault, but Luis wouldn't hear it. Later, she asked him to dinner, but he feared he wouldn't be able to keep his hands off her if they were alone, so she left him. When she got home, she was crushed to find that the gorgeous flowers from Luis had died. "Aunt Sheridan said every day a lover's flowers lives, means a decade of love in real life," she fretted, not knowing Sheridan had killed them herself. Then Esme called from jail, hoping her cadet pal could help spring her. Fancy told her she couldn't do anything and then unloaded about Luis.

Eve sat down to her mail, only to find a blackmail letter that had been hand delivered to her office. "Who would find out about this?" she wondered in panic. She decided to keep the door locked in the future. Then Gwen deposited Sheridan, urging her friend to talk to the good doctor. Sheridan apologized for her outburst, but Eve was more concerned with what was going on. She was thrilled Sher was facing her feelings and asked if she'd been "acting out, done anything you might be ashamed of." The answer was of course yes. Sheridan said she just had to face facts and accept she's lost Luis.

Gwen got home, heard a tapping and then noticed a horrific smell. It was her mother at the door, covered in garbage. After demanding — and guzzling — a drink, Rebecca told Gwen about Ethan knocking her off the ledge and into a garbage truck. Gwen was more concerned about Ethan being with JT (not to mention the smell taking over her room).

Sheridan watched through Pilar's kitchen window as a horny Luis tried to get into Fancy's pants. Desperate to stop him, Sheridan called 911 and asked for Luis with a disguised voice. Dispatch radioed him just as he had Fancy over the kitchen table and, even though the "caller" was gone, he had to head to the station. Fancy couldn't join him, because she'd been called to "walk a beat." Both were okay with the interruption, since they were supposed to put things on hold until Fancy graduated, but Sheridan was shaken over her new penchant for machinations. She ran to Gwen for support, bursting in and asking, "How could I be so petty, so mean and vindictive?" When she continued that she couldn't be "gracious" about her ex and her niece, Gwen empathized and said time would heal, but Sheridan wasn't so sure. After Sheridan recounted her recent plays, including the fact that she took an incriminating photo of Luis and Fancy and sent it to the tabloids, Gwen called in sick. They headed out for a walk and ended up at the park, like the rest of Harmony — including Fancy and Luis. The couple could barely keep their hands off each other and Sheridan was ready to flip her lid, run at them and call Fancy a tramp! Then she'd snarl more insults, including, "Burn in hell, bitch," and throw hot cocoa in her niece's face. Fortunately, she only fantasized about doing all that. Gwen suggested professional help, but Sheridan said, "All I need is for Fancy to leave Luis alone because that's the only way that I'm going to stop dying inside." She then threw herself into Gwen's arms, screaming that she'd lost him — which Luis and Fancy seemed to overhear.

Nearby, Jared, Theresa and Little E were doing some family bonding in the snow. There was much flirting, a snowball fight and a snowman built. Needless to say, Ethan wasn't pleased when he spied them. Noah wondered if Ethan wished he were the one with Theresa and Little E, but Ethan swore he was just worried about his ex and her poor choice in men. He wished he had dirt on Jared and after realizing, "I sound like Theresa," he decided to find JT, who coincidentally enough, had just left with Rebecca and a mysterious new bag of loot. The tabloid reporter was counting up blackmail money and Beccs trying to find out who it was from. When she accused him of cheating on her, he insisted he was just protecting her, but promised to share the names of his targets with her. "Names like Gullible, Naive, Foolish," he chuckled to himself. He ultimately admitted he didn't trust her enough to tell her, so she fondled him and looked for the flash drive that held all his secrets. Their back and forth went on until Ethan showed up at the door.

Miguel hopped into bed with Kay but she gave him the cold shoulder. Of course, he had no idea why and, believing him a liar, she slapped him when he said as much. They went in circles of misunderstanding over Charity until she stormed out, leaving Miguel as frustrated as he was confused.
