PASSIONS Recaps Week of December 18, 2006

Via cell phone, Fox warned the Miguel and Charity impostors to be more careful since Kay's sister witnessed them removing their masks. Fortunately,
Jessica had been drinking and no one believed what she saw. Hopefully, no suspicions were raised.
Jared arrived at Chad's motel room with coffee. Chad was sleeping alone and Jared had a hard time waking him up. No wonder — the groom had a hangover. Jared spied an empty bottle of booze and ordered Chad in the shower. "You
are getting married today!" Jared reminded. Later, as both men were getting ready Chad said that after what happened "with my affair the night before," he was worried that his nups may not go off without a hitch.
At the hospital Luis learned that Fancy had slipped into a coma and her prognosis wasn't very bright. Luis hoped for a Christmas miracle. He sat at
Fancy's bedside and told his unconscious girlfriend that "Sheridan is my past, you are my future." Oops. He didn't know Sheridan was at the door and overheard him. Fancy's hand moved and her eyes fluttered opened. He smiled,
she smiled back and Sheridan left.
Tabitha hoped to Endora that maybe Norma and Beth's world travels to "lesbian piano bars" caused the daffy duo to forget about the witch. The
doorbell rang and Tabitha thought that the "wretched" carolers had returned.
Instead, she found a large crate, which Endora used her powers to zap inside. Norma and Edna suddenly popped out singing, "Oh what fun it is to
sing a slaying song tonight!"
After a night of hot sex, Rebecca attempted to seduce J.T. into spilling his
blackmail secrets, but he remained mum. She knew his flash drive contained all the incriminating information and resolved to steal it. "Anybody could kill you for that," Rebecca warned. When J.T. went into the bathroom, Rebecca searched the room but he secretly watched her and became upset. After he emerged, Rebecca suggested that J.T. give her the flash drive for safe keeping, but J.T. revealed that he already stashed it where can't be
found. He left a frustrated Rebecca behind and headed over to the office of a tabloid, where he slid an envelope under the door. "Someone is going to be very sorry," he muttered as a shadow of someone loomed nearby.
Everyone started to arrive at the church for Chad and Whitney's wedding. Sam and Kay crossed paths and he proclaimed that even though he was still peeved with his daughter, he still loved her and they hugged. He also mentioned that Grace's flight from London was cancelled. "It won't be long before you
and I walk down this aisle," Fox told Kay. Noah asked Paloma to go to a concert with him and she accepted.
Whitney was thrilled when T.C. walked into the church on his own (with Eve at his side). The wedding began, with Chad and Jared standing at the front of the church. The best man noticed the groom was visibly nervous. "I just
don't want anything to go wrong," Chad whispered. Simone escorted Miles down the aisle and Theresa followed. A beaming Eve strolled in next and took her seat. On her dad's arm, Whitney walked down the aisle and happily joined
Chad.

On the wharf, Jessica spied the Miguel and Charity imposters remove their
masks. "Fox is setting Kay up with a bunch of lies!" Jess realized.
Meanwhile, Miguel pleaded with Kay to explain why she turned on him. She
didn't budge, still thinking he is merely pretending not to know what he
did wrong. Tabitha then complained to Kay about the Christmas-festooned
decor in her house. Carolers arrived and Tabs spotted a disguised Edna and
Norma among the group. "They always try to kill me at this time of year,"
fretted the witch.
Miguel asked Fox why Kay has been acting so weird. Fox attributed the
behavior to pre-wedding jitters. "I'm sure she'll be back to normal as soon
as we get married," lied Fox.
Jess rushed in and announced to Kay, Migs, Fox, Noah and Paloma what she
saw. They realized she had been drinking and assumed she hallucinated the
whole thing. Tabitha hoped Jess's story would at least spark Miguel's
suspicions.
Chad encouraged Jared to propose to Theresa. Jared tried to pop the
question, but Theresa was distracted with arranging Whitney and Chad's nups
scheduled to take place the next day. Jared scolded Chad for visiting his
lover the night before his wedding. Chad went to the Safari Motel and
informed the mystery person he will marry Whit and "you're not going to do
anything to screw it up!"
Theresa surprised Whit with a wedding gown. The bride-to-be expressed her
fear that something will happen to prevent her from marrying Chad. Theresa
advised her friend to stop with the negative thinking. "You're going to live
happily ever after," Theresa noted.
Gwen asked Ethan why he's so adamant about exposing Jared. Ethan claimed it
was to protect Little Ethan since he feels responsible for the boy. "There's
no way I'm going to let Jared become Little Ethan's stepfather," fumed the
cranky Crane. A touchy Gwen asked if it was really because she can't give
him a son of his own. Ethan assured his wife that wasn't the case. He then
wondered if J.T. could be at the seedy motel. The duo set out to search for
him.
Rebecca and J.T. (in drag) were all over each other at the Safari Motel.
"You, honey, are one hot broad," purred an excited Rebecca. When Gwen and
Ethan arrived, they spotted the two "women," then continued looking for J.T.
Bec spotted Chad.
Eve and the E.R. crew worked to save a flat lined Fancy and brought her
back. Dr. Russell administered a rape test that may extract a DNA sample
from her attacker. Eve told Luis that Fancy has suffered a traumatic event
and will require therapy for the "emotional fallout." Luis vowed to catch
the scum.
Julian and Ivy bonded during the stress over Fancy's crisis. After learning
that Ivy was homeless, Julian suggested that his ex to move back into her
old room at the Crane manse.

Tabitha's car wouldn't start, so she couldn't get out of town with Endora.
She tried to tell Kay that the Charity and Miguel she saw having sex are
imposters, but Endora put another spell on her so she couldn't speak. Noah,
Jessica and Paloma arrived. Noah and Jess reconciled with Kay. Miguel
interrupted and asked Kay if marrying Fox is really what she wants. As soon
as her fiancé walked in, Kay kissed him in front of everyone. Paloma pulled
her aside and asked her what she was doing. Kay said she decided to marry
Fox. Noah, Jessica and Paloma decorated Tabitha's house with Christmas
decorations. Yikes! The friends in the basement hate the holiday. Jessica
accused everyone of not trusting her to leave the house to get more lights,
but they told her they did. She headed out. In the kitchen, Tabitha tried to
tell Miguel about the imposters. Again, she had a frog in her throat. Migs
asked Tabs why Kay changed her mind about being with him. She advised him to
search for a reason Kay had a change of heart. Jessica's bridesmaid dress
arrived, which made everyone wonder what was taking her so long on her
errand. On the wharf, Jess spotted a couple in love and was depressed about
what her life has become. She decided to get some booze. Just as she walked
away, the imposters, wearing their masks, arrived and practiced their lines.
Jess spotted the twosome on the bench, and watched who she thought was
Charity rip off her mask.
At the Seascape, Gwen told Ethan to stop trying to protect Theresa. Whit
asked Theresa what she would do if Ethan left Gwen. Before her friend could
answer, Whit said she didn't really want to know. Theresa assured Jared she
trusts him.... Rebecca went to J.T.'s apartment, but he didn't answer the
door because he was hiding under his desk.... Ethan finally got a hold of
Cornell, who informed him someone took a shot at him outside of the
restaurant. Ethan accused Jared of the crime. Theresa had a chat with Gwen
about what she'll do when J.T. tells Ethan the truth about the Hotchkiss
women and dumps her. Theresa broke up Jared and Ethan's war of words. She
told Ethan to drop his witch hunt.... Rebecca spotted a woman leaving
Cornell's apartment. She barged in his place and demanded he reveal who he's
sleeping with, but he wasn't there. She chased after the woman. She caught
up with her in a motel, and asked where J.T. was. The woman turned around
and revealed herself to be Cornell! He explained he was in disguise because
someone was trying to kill him.
Eve asked Sheridan if she's sure she's not still in love with Luis. Sher
said Fancy is too immature and rebellious for Luis.... Fancy fought Luis off
as she recalled being attacked. The paramedics arrived.... At the hospital,
Sheridan and Eve saw Fancy on a stretcher. Luis told the doc she had been
attacked and begged her not to let Fancy die. Luis told Sheridan that Fancy
went on the stakeout in order to prove something to him, but she doesn't
need to because he loves her. Dr. Russell broke the news to Luis that Fancy
was definitely raped and she might die. Just then, Fancy flatlined.
Julian looked at the blackmail letter he received. Ivy scolded Julian for
wanting Fox to marry Kay. Jules got a call about Fancy being in the
hospital, and ex spouses rushed off to the hospital.

At church, Eve was happy to hear Sheridan say she's accepting Luis and
Fancy's relationship. Paloma, Noah, Jessica and Spike greeted Father
Lonigan. Jess said she has several regrets from throughout the year. She
told Noah she's worried about what Grace will say when she meets Spike. Noah
told his sis not to worry. Spike approached Chris, who noted James can ID
him. They discussed their embezzlement project. Spike had a black mask
poking out of his pocket. Noah kissed Paloma under mistletoe. Dr. Russell
was surprised to hear Sheridan say she doesn't think Fancy and Luis will
make it as a couple.
Luis and Bart fought off Fancy's attacker. Luis couldn't find Fancy's pulse.
He begged her to come back to him. Bart returned and said the
criminal got away. When Fancy woke up, she cried, "Let me go. Let me go."
At the Seascape, Theresa told Ethan he's ruining Whitney and Chad's
celebration by barging in and making accusations about Jared. "Theresa isn't
even going to let you be a doorman at Crane Industries once she finds out
what J.T. Has on you," said Ethan to Jared. In private, Chad asked Jared
what Cornell could know. Chad received another blackmail letter. Theresa
told Ethan to go home to his wife and Jane. She pointed out that he
shouldn't trust J.T. Ethan defended Cornell.
Gwen fretted about blackmailer J.T. still being in Harmony. She demanded
Rebecca call him. On the phone, Cornell told Bec he's squared away with the
IRS and he can now stay in town. He told Becky that Ethan paid his taxes in
order to get information on Jared. "What I dug up on Jared is as black as it
gets," he said. While entering the restaurant, Cornell was shot at. Theresa
asks Ethan why his trusted source isn't there yet. Ethan tried to get a hold
of J.T., but got his voice mail. Cornell ran back to his apartment and hid
from the person shooting at him.
Miguel told Kay that Charity is waiting for her call. Kay refused to talk to
her cousin — or even Miguel for that matter. Simone told Miguel to get lost.
He begged her to fill him in on why Kay was so mad at him. Fox worried about
being exposed if the real Charity does talk to Kay. He ordered the imposters
to leave before getting caught. Fox found the backpack with the Charity
masks inside and threw it out the window. Kay walked in and told Fox she
wants to move up their wedding date. Tabitha wanted to tell Kay that Miguel
didn't have sex with Charity; it was an imposter. However, Endora had other
plans. She cast a spell so Mum would have frogs in her throat and couldn't
tell the truth. Tabitha feared she would get a yearly visit from Norma, so
she decided to flee. When she and Endora walked out of the house, they found
a gift on the porch. They went back in to open it. Tabs worried that it
could be a bomb from Norma. She opened it to discover a doll and a note from
Edna and Norma. Tabs was surprised to see that there didn't seem to be
anything wrong with the doll, but the witch was suspicious of their reason
to send a present.

Ethan opened the empty envelope Cornell gave him that was supposed to
contain the goods on Jared, and attacked J.T. Cornell explained that he's
waiting for Winthrop to clear his money problems with the IRS before he
hands over what he has on Casey. Ethan met with an IRS agent. Winthrop
learned that in order to clear Cornell's record, he would have to pay his
back taxes plus interest. Though shocked at the amount, Ethan wrote a check.
Winthrop called J.T. to inform him he paid his dues and wants the
information on Jared. They planned to meet at Seascape. To himself, Cornell
noted that Jared has quite a bad history.
At the Seascape, Chad continued to pressure Whitney for an answer on whether
or not she's going to marry him by Christmas. She finally said yes! "I'm
going to take a leap of faith and trust you," she added. Chad recalled Jared
telling him to tell Whitney the truth, and meeting up with his lover at the
motel.
In her office, Jared pulled out an engagement ring and started to propose to
Theresa, but was interrupted by a call from Whitney, who told her friend
that she's getting married on Christmas Eve. An excited Theresa asked Jared
to go to the Seascape to celebrate with Whit and Chad. Jared was
disappointed that he didn't get to pop the question, but decided it was
worth waiting for the perfect moment. At the restaurant, the duo
congratulated Whitney and Chad. Just as Jared was proposing a toast with
Theresa, Ethan got between them.
Kay listened in on Miguel and Charity's phone call saying they will keep
their love from Kay. It was really their imposters reading from the script
Fox wrote for them. Fake Charity complained about the unrealistic script,
and asked Crane how he could deal with hurting Kay that way. Fox defended
himself, then pushed his hired help to get out of Tabitha's house. However,
he had to push them in a closet to hide from Kay. Miguel walked in and
kissed Kay while Fox tried to get the imposters out. Migs told a shocked and
confused Kay that he found Charity and told her to talk to Kay. In the
closet with the actors, Fox wondered how to get out of the predicament.
At the police station, Miguel called the real Charity and asked her to call
Kay to let her know they haven't talked since she left Harmony. Charity said
she can't return to Harmony because evil stalked her there.
Luis tried to get a hold of Fancy, but got her voice mail. Once he hung up,
hesaw Kelly, the girl who was originally going to set up the peeping Tom.
She informed him that Fancy took her place. Luis attempted to contact Burt,
Fancy's back-up, who couldn't reply because the peeping Tom tied him up.
Fancy cried while the perp attacked her. She tried to get away, but he
knocked her unconscious. Luis arrived at the stakeout and found Bart tied
up. He freed him, and went in the house to find Fancy.
