Theresa and Ethan made love and were thrilled to finally be together. Luis barged in. He informed them that he was arrested for attacking Fancy earlier in the night. He told them his side of the story. "That's why I had to escape," Luis said when Ethan agreed that he is being set up. Ethan and Theresa encouraged the escapee to turn himself in. Theresa promised her brother she would use all her power to have him cleared of charges. Ethan picked up the phone to call Sam and turn in Luis. Theresa and Luis talked him out of it. Theresa handed her bro cash from her safe, along with directions and a key to a place that the company has visiting VIPs stay. Luis headed out. Theresa told Ethan she needs to tell him something, but he got a call from the police. He didn't answer, then headed to his office to do "damage control." Theresa received another demand from her blackmailer.

Sam told the other cops to follow protocol if they find the escaped Luis, which is to shoot to kill. Fancy pointed out that he hasn't been convicted of a crime, just accused on it. The chief told the officers that if they find Luis to try to talk Luis into turning himself in and not to shoot him unless they are ordered to do so. The cops took off. Sheridan blamed Fancy, who said she still believes her aunt was the one who attacked her in the princess room. Sheridan pointed out that now Fancy thinks it was Luis who attacked her. Fancy explained that she doesn't think it was Luis, but he was the one holding the can of acid. The women exchanged a war of words. "You need to fix this," Sheridan yelled, claiming she wants to protect both Fancy and Luis. Sheridan brought up Fancy's sister, Pretty. "Don't dredge that up," she responded. Fancy cried about the evidence pointing to Luis. Sheridan demanded she lie about the evidence in order to protect Luis. "That would be lying," Fancy responded.... Sam saw Luis run through the wharf and yelled for him to stop, but he didn't. Another cop said he would shoot. Luis was able to hide. Sam was told he had to give the shoot to kill order. He reluctantly did just that.

Julian paid off the nurse to give Fox placebo instead of the treatment everyone else will think he's getting. Julian demanded Miguel leave the hospital, but he refused. While Miguel continued to tell Kay that Fox is faking his illness, he bumped into the nurse and she dropped her check. She picked it up before Migs saw exactly what it was. He couldn't believe Fox was actually going through with the treatment. Kay informed Migs that her husband just received antibiotics to prepare for the treatment he would soon be getting.

Jessica was completely (and rightly so) freaked out by her half-man/half-woman customer. Simone, Paloma and Noah arrived after hearing her scream, but didn't believe Jess when she described what she saw. They heard a noise in the bathroom, so Noah slowly opened the door and a rat ran out. The girls screamed. Noah looked in the bathroom, but nobody was there. Jessica said "it" must have escape through the window and they need to tell the police, but the gang just thought she was hallucinating from drugs. After they left, the mysterious john came out of the bathroom. "We'll meet again Jessica. Soon. Very soon," it said while holding a razor. The gang brought Jessica to the hospital, where she told Julian and Eve about the man/woman. Dr. Russell gave her a sedative. Noah said he would stay with his sister to make sure Spike doesn't harass her. Simone wondered if Jessica was telling the truth about the he-woman.... Eve received a call. "The man on the phone was our son," she said, nearly out of breath, to Julian.

Kay tried to talk Fox into taking his treatment. Miguel barged in and accused Fox of not doing it because he's not really sick. Julian bribed the nurse to give his son fake treatment, then privately told Fox what was going to happen. Miguel and Kay walked in on Jules and Fox's convo. Fox apologized to his wife for declining the treatment and said his dad talked him into going through with it.

Spike pushed Jessica to meet with a john. At the motel, the customer primped by putting on lipstick and lace panties. Jess was about to flee when the john entered the room dressed as a woman on the right side and a man on the left. Jessica screamed! Meanwhile, Spike met up with Chris on the wharf. Spike threatened to tell Sheridan the truth about Boothe's connection to Alistair if he didn't help him with something.

Whitney questioned Chad about the gay porn on his PDA. "Do you watch this stuff all the time?" she asked. He claimed he got it from Crane Industries, which used to be involved in porn, thanks to Alistair. She thought watching those videos warped Chad's beliefs about homosexuals. Whit asked her hubby if a woman in his past left him for another woman, noting how painful that would be. When Chad said he didn't want to talk about it anymore, she agreed to disagree with him. He told himself same-sex couples couldn't possibly be in love.

Theresa was terrified that the box would reveal all to Ethan, so she threw the device in the water. Ethan demanded Theresa tell him what was going on with her. He said he's free of Gwen and they can be a family now. Theresa was thrilled. They began to make love. "Finally and forever," she said.

Sheridan stormed into the police station and blamed Fancy for Luis's arrest. Sam explained that Luis was holding the jar of acid that burned Fancy and had a key to the room. Luis defended himself. The chief mentioned, again, that Luis is also being charged with Rae's murder. Sheridan yelled at Sam for going through with the arrest, and asked that Luis be put in a separate cell from the other prisoners. Sam cuffed Luis to a chair. With Sheridan watching, a weeping Fancy apologized to Luis. Sam called Fancy into another room. Sheridan took the opportunity to talk to Luis, but he asked to be alone. Sher hid while watching Luis free himself from the handcuffs and take off. When Sam and Fancy returned, Sheridan acted as if she thought Luis was with them. Fancy was happy to realize Luis escaped, but Sher told her niece it would be all her fault if anything bad happens to him.

Fancy woke up screaming in pain. She pushed Luis away when she saw him holding the acid that burned her leg. Sam barged in ready to take down her attacker. Luis said the suspect escaped, but Sam was reluctant to believe his pal. The chief called for medical help to tend to Fancy, and for the police to keep an eye out for the suspect. Luis explained that he knew his coffee had been drugged, so he played it off in order to catch the attacker in Fancy's room. Fancy said the only person she saw in her room was Luis. "I came in here to protect her," exclaimed Luis, who said the masked man must have slipped out of the window. Sam investigated and said it wasn't possible. Luis told Fancy he can't wait to find the attacker so he can prove his own innocence. Sam got a call reporting that the assailant was not found. Luis got angry and threw his jacket on the floor; a key came out of the pocket. Sam checked to see if it worked on Fancy's door and it did. "This is how you got into Fancy's room, isn't it?" Sam asked Luis. "It seems to me, the attacker and you are one in the same." The chief told Luis he was being arrested for Rae's murder and Fancy's attacks.

Chad was livid to see a vase full of yellow roses when he answered the door. He assumed it was Vincent delivering the bouquet, but it wasn't. The delivery guy was cool with Chad getting flowers from a guy, but Harris-Crane claimed he isn't gay. Whitney thought the flowers were for her, and asked her husband why he gave her flowers that stand for friendship and freedom; Chad claimed the color also stands for newlyweds. When Whit thanked him with a kiss, the delivery guy returned in order to get a signature and mentioned that the roses were for Chad. "Who would be sending you flowers?" Whitney asked. He said he had them sent to him so he could hand them to her. He prevented her from reading the card by claiming he still needed to write in it. When Whit left the room, Chad received another homemade video clip on his PDA. Whitney grabbed it from him. "It's not what you think," Chad said.

On the wharf, Theresa communicated with her unseen blackmailer. Ethan arrived and asked her what was going on. Theresa worried that Ethan would learn he is her son's father. Ethan found a device that was being used to communicate with Theresa. "Why are you torturing Theresa?" Ethan asked the technical box. While Theresa privately begged for it not to reveal anything, Ethan realized it will only respond to her voice. She refused to speak, and wrote on paper that she thinks it is a bomb. Ethan told her he knows there is no bomb. Ethan demanded Theresa say something to the box. She yelled, "No, I can't!" The box said, "Little Ethan."

In the closet, Miguel cringed while watching Kay and Fox have sex feet away. He quietly called Kay to interrupt their lovemaking. Fox tried to prevent his wife from answering the call, but she did. Miguel threatened to expose their affair if she didn't stop having sex with her husband. Kay got off the phone and told Fox that he needs to go back to the hospital to get treatment. Once there, Fox said he didn't want the treatment because he wouldn't be a "whole man." She told him their relationship isn't all about sex. "It's our favorite form of communication," he replied. Miguel walked up, but hid from Fox, who told Kay they need to make love in the hospital. Instead, she coaxed him back into his hospital room. Once there, he refused treatment.

Chad found a DVD outside his door. He watched it and was stunned to see that it was a sex video of him and the mystery lover. Vincent's face popped up on the screen! Vincent chastised Chad about returning to his wife instead of being with him. Vincent threatened that Whitney will leave once she learns of her husband's secret affair. Then more sex footage played as Vincent alternately chided and wooed his lover in a voiceover. Chad smashed the DVD. Afterward, he opened an envelope informing him that there are plenty of other copies.

Whitney dropped by Theresa's office, but she wasn't there. Ethan came in and was none-too-pleased when Whit said that Theresa is probably with Jared. That can't happen, Ethan insisted, explaining that Gwen served him with divorce papers and took off to parts unknown. Ethan couldn't wait to tell Theresa that he's finally free. Valerie showed up and denied knowing where Theresa is. Val was very interested when Whit later mentioned that Gwen dumped Ethan and disappeared. Valerie said she’s happy for Theresa and thanked Whitney for setting her up with Vincent. She went on about how in love she is and suggested that she and Whit go on a double date with their men. Val went back to praising Vincent, saying that he's such a sharp dresser that if she didn't know better she'd think he's gay. This prompted Whitney to ask if Valerie had ever seen any signs of homophobia in Chad. She recounted that he'd made some rude comments about gay people. Val said she'd never seen Chad behave that way. Whitney shrugged that maybe she's being sensitive because her sister is a lesbian.

On the docks, the creepy, raspy voice told Theresa that he shot Jared because he got in the way and then upbraided Theresa for being selfish and spoiled. Theresa offered money in exchange for the memory drive, but the creepy, raspy voice only laughed and refused to hand it over. "You're nothing but a puppet now," taunted the voice. The creepy, raspy voice then demanded that Theresa give up Ethan for good. "Why are you doing this?" Theresa yelled. "I want you out of the picture," said the voice. Otherwise the USB stick will be turned over to the press and the Lopez-Fitzgerald brothers will go to jail, directly to jail. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Luis was sleeping outside under the stars when a gloved hand slipped something into his mug. Luis awoke and talked to himself about how he was keeping Fancy safe from the rapist. Then he took a sip from the mug. As Luis dozed and dreamed about being in bed with Fancy, the white gloved hands snapped a branch angrily and reached out to strangle the cop. When Luis stirred, the hands backed off. Afterward, the gloved figure entered Fancy’s room with a jar of acid. The gloved figure held the jar over Fancy. Luis charged in and knocked the jar out of the lurker's hands. Fancy woke up with her leg burned and asked Luis why he did it.

As Miguel and Kay were in the sack, Fox was outside in the hallway and thought about how he was going to get horizontal with his wife. He then opened the bedroom door to find Kay was in bed .... alone. As Fox went on about how beautiful his wife is, Miguel was hiding on the floor. Fox talked about not undergoing his treatment because it would hurt his sex life and he wants to be a real man and so on. As he went on about how much he wants to make love to his wife, a grossed-out Miguel (now in the closet, literally) listened in and swore to himself that Fox wouldn't make love to Kay "not now, not ever." He peeped as Fox removed his shirt to reveal tubes and needles inserted in his torso. He got all frisky, but the missus protested that he's not well enough. Miguel totally opened the closet door and came out to frown, but Kay signaled him to go back in the closet.

Whit returned home, where Chad claimed the envelope he was holding is junk mail and ruminated on how prevalent junk mail is in today's world. Whit reported that Gwen gave up on Ethan and that she had a nice conversation with Valerie about how happy she is with Vincent. Chad spaced out and furrowed his brow. He also shot down Whit's talk of a double date. There was a knock at the door and Chad opened it to see someone holding a huge bouquet. "Vincent, what are you doing to me?" he hissed.

While Kay was visiting with her husband, Fox freaked out when a nurse wanted to insert a catheter into his chest. "You can just take your drills and your knives and your other little torture instruments and go," he growled, then asked his wife to leave. Once Kay was gone, the nurse still performed the procedure and the catheter port was put into Fox's chest after all. When the nurse left, Fox summoned his father to the hospital and ordered Julian to do something before he was pumped with drugs for a condition he didn't have. "Your situation may be much more dire than I realized," said Julian. Fox got dressed and checked himself out of the hospital.

Kay returned home to find Miguel waiting for her. He once again tried to convince her that Fox was lying. "What do you see when you look at me, Kay?" Miguel implored. "You see a man who would lie to you, or do you see the eyes of a man that loves you and our daughter with all his heart?" But Kay was unswayed and said she didn't trust him. Miguel drew Kay into a kiss, which she fought at first, then gave into. They fell onto the bed as Fox arrived.

Whitney warned Theresa not to meet the blackmailer alone but she said she had no choice. "I want this to end tonight," Theresa declared. "I want to meet this blackmailer now while he's ready to make this deal. I'll just pay him off. I'll be with Ethan." The blackmailer sent a taunting message via e-mail. After Whitney threatened to blab everything to Ethan, Theresa promised not to meet up with the blackmailer. But after Whitney left, Theresa headed out for her fateful meeting. The blackmailer lurked around in women's clothing.

Chris asked Sheridan how she got her scratches and bruises. She claimed it was from teaching their son to climb a tree. Sheridan grew upset when Chris accused her of being obsessed with Luis because she was still in love with him. "I never stopped, and I never will," Sheridan finally confessed. "I will always love Luis." When Chris surmised that his wife could've been Fancy's attacker, Sheridan stormed out.

At the inn, Fancy tried to get over her fears by dancing with Luis but she wasn't in his arms for very long before pushing him away. Fancy berated herself but Luis assured he could wait as long as it takes for her to heal. "I'm going to be with you every step of the way," he announced and ordered Fancy to bed while he stood guard outside. A man claiming to be a hotel employee approached Luis with coffee and cookies, along with a message that they were from Fancy. Luis was touched by her gesture and gobbled down the cookies. Meanwhile. someone inserted a tube under Fancy's door.
