Simone and Paloma were worried because Jessica had disappeared from breakfast right after Spike threatened her. While they searched, Jessica did her best to stay strong about dumping him, but there was little she could say once he brought up the murdered johns. "You blackmailed me into marriage, but I kept hoping that somewhere deep down you really had feelings for me. What a fool I am," she finally said. He swore he did feel for her and apologized for getting riled up by her meddling friends. He even maintained he was selling their baby to give it a better life and that getting back to work would make her feel better. Then he got her back into her slut attire and offered her a drink. When she said no, he dosed her Diet Coke. Next thing she knew, she woke up next to another dead john.

Shower time at the prison posed a threat for Sheridan. She, Miguel, Luis and the others were told to strip, shower and get new jumpsuits on the other side. Sheridan deepened her voice and said she'd lost her contact lens, but that didn't work, so she stripped and hid behind the Lopez-Fitzgerald boys. Unfortunately, it wasn't long before the guard yelled, "Hey, over there, you three. Stop what you're doing."

Eve cleared Jared to resume all of his normal activities, including sex, but she was surprised to hear he wanted to get Theresa pregnant. Down in the kitchen, Theresa got another warning from the blackmailer, so she tried to avoid talking to Ethan when he showed up. He was territorial about her body and relieved she still hadn't consummated her marriage, but she stormed out, determined to do what she must to save her brothers. "I'm not going to let you go!" he called after her. Upstairs, she asked Eve about increasing her chances of conceiving (cue the Clear Blue Easy ovulation kit product placement), which made Eve suspicious. She warned that it wouldn't be fair to anyone involved if she had a child with a man she didn't want to be with — especially not fair to the child. One her way out, Eve ran into Julian. She gave him grief about Ivy and walked away, but Julian wasn't ready to give up. He made an "urgent" phone call. Theresa, meanwhile, tested herself and found she was ripe for conception, so she and Jared got down to business.

When Tabitha ordered the magic bowl to show her Endora's classroom, Kay wondered if Tabitha should allow her some space, but Tabitha reminded her the witchling was at a school for mortals. Then Kay distracted her by crying over Miguel. Fox eavesdropped as she told Tabitha that Miguel told her to move on. Tabitha agreed that she should move on with Fox, but Kay couldn't let go of Miguel. "Instead of a dazzling, glamorous life as Mrs. Nicholas Foxworth Crane, [you'll] be a bitter, single mother, pining for your man in the hoosegow," Tabitha warned. When Fox heard Kay's resolve, he made a call. Then he came into the kitchen and said, "I have this strange feeling I'll be feeling even better soon." Tabitha, meanwhile, set out to check on Endora and learned she had a right to be worried. Endora had turned Tina into a cat and then their teacher threw her classmate out of class! Miss Lucy was panicked over her missing student and the cat had been taken to the pound.

Who did Spike's hold on Jessica remind Simone of?

Simone and Paloma cooed over pregnant Jessica and promised to see her into and through motherhood. Jess was touched, but was still scared of Spike, who walked in just as they were discussing his desire to sell the baby. He caressed Jessica's head, while her friends defended her. When Simone pointed out it might not be his, he threatened the girls by mentioning the dead johns. "I ain't going away...at least not till somebody pays me off big time," he said as he walked out. Jessica's girlfriends promised to protect her, but Spike got his hands on her minutes later. He warned her to stay away from her friends and accept that she's stuck with him and then, when he saw Paloma coming, he whisked Jessica away.

Intent on being a good father for once, Julian stopped by Tabitha's to take Endora to her first day of school. A displeased Tabitha sent their daughter upstairs so she could berate Julian and beg him to leave Endora's care to her. He commended her mothering, but maintained a child needs a father. When he said Endora was a Crane, Tabby stormed, "Endora is a Lenox and don't you forget it." She didn't want her daughter to become tabloid fodder or be crushed when "this material whim of yours passes." When she called him out on jumping into bed with Ivy the night before and again hurting Eve, it took him a minute to wonder how she knew about it. Tabitha stalled until Endora came in and then rushed Endora out the door without explaining. The trio showed up at school together shortly thereafter, but Tabitha didn't want Julian to come into the classroom. "Soon enough they're going to learn she's my child," he shrugged, but Tabitha insisted this wasn't that day. He finally agreed to leave, but told Endora he'd stop by later and told Tabby, "This isn't over." Before taking Endora into class, Tabitha made her promise not to use witchcraft. When the teacher told Mom to leave, Tabitha had a bit of separation anxiety. "It's always more difficult for the parents to let go," Miss Lucy empathized and pushed her out the door. Later she caught Tabitha trying to watch from outside and reprimanded her. The kids, meanwhile, were having story time and Endora got to play the princess. Her classmate Tina got upset that she couldn't be a kitty cat, so the little witch turned her into one.

Luis and Sheridan canoodled in the bottom bunk and Luis professed his love repeatedly...until he woke Sher up from her dream! She pleaded with him to let her stay in prison and threw herself into his arms. Miguel, in a neighboring cell, found it quite a sight, but soon caught on and agreed Sheridan had to get out. "These guys are going to pass you around like a six-pack," Miguel worried, but Sheridan insisted she was staying and that no one would figure out she was a woman. That's when the guard called, "Shower time!" Sheridan told him she didn't need one, but he said it was an order and told her to "move that pretty ass!"

Fancy was trying to come to terms with having seen Luis kiss his cellmate, "a man," when Esme rolled in from a wild night. After some drunken babbling, she asked Fancy what was wrong and wasn't surprised to hear the hunk was getting attention in prison. "Men are like rats," she explained. "You lock them up together without any females present for more than 10 minutes and they get desperate! They'll rub up against anything!" Fancy insisted Luis would never cheat on her, let alone go gay, so Esme directed her to go back to work and check things out.

A cognac-soaked Julian rolled his eyes at Ivy, groaning, "Oh, goody. This again: 'I hate you, Julian. My life sucks because of you. Blah, blah, blah.'" In the end, however, he admitted that their own inaction was to blame for their failures in life, not Alistair. They drank together and bonded over their frustrations. Though it was hard work winning Eve and Sam back, both thought they were making ground. "It seems that we are both poised to rise from the ash heap of self-destructive love," Ivy toasted and she was right. Eve and Sam were discussing them and blaming Alistair for ruining the people they once loved. Eve suggested they not "let Alistair's evil win," and they even went on to wonder if the failure of their marriages was in part do to the fact that TC and Grace were never actually their "true loves." If they had been, Sam figured, "Our love should have survived" any machinations. They concluded that everything Julian and Eve had done had been for love. "Was it irrational? Sometimes. Absolutely insane? Absolutely. But it was love," Eve said, and the pair set out to reclaim their exes, who were still drinking and laughing about their past. Ivy and Julian remembered some great times and apologized to each other for being terrible spouses. Unfortunately, they sealed their forgiveness with more than a kiss and Sam and Eve caught them in bed! They blamed the brandy and even tried to laugh it off, but Sam and Eve were disgusted. Julian and Ivy jumped up when they heard their exes had come to give them another chance, but Sam stormed, "After finding you two in bed together, forget it." They begged for forgiveness, but Sam shot, "And then what, huh? Wait for the next sucker punch?" Then Julian and Ivy were left alone.

Bearded inmate Sheridan tired to seduce Luis, but he wasn't interested. She admitted she'd known he was too good a man to cheat on Fancy and regretted ever letting him go. After promising she'd work on getting him out of the prison, she started rehashing their history. "What's done is done. Just move on, okay?" Luis insisted, but after losing him and her hubby, Sheridan didn't know that she could. Luis called her invincible, but she insisted he was her strength. Then, she asked for one last kiss. Butch Fancy, meanwhile, sidestepped another close call by admitting she had a "thing" for Luis. She maintained rapists and murderers should be forced to rot in a living hell, rather than get off easy with the death penalty. She wanted to work Luis' cell block so she could "make his life as miserable as I could, before he's finally put down like the rabid animal he is." The other guard was impressed with her mean streak and got her assigned to D Block. She was giddy as she approached Luis' cell, but thrown when she saw her man kissing his new cellmate!

Jared and Theresa told Ethan to leave, but he insisted he had to tell her something. Jared assumed he wanted to discuss Luis and Miguel's appeal and Ethan agreed to speak his mind in front of him, so Theresa panicked and tried to pull him out of the room. When they opened the door, however, they found Pilar, who said she'd listen to Ethan's new strategy. Outside the room, she told Ethan to stay away from Theresa until her boys were freed from jail. "Do you want your daughter to sacrifice her happiness for your sons?" he challenged, but she insisted Ethan and Theresa could survive the wait. Then Jared interrupted, so they went back into the room and Pilar gave Theresa her support. The trio discussed it all right under Jared's nose, but he didn't pick anything up. In fact, when they decided to table the conversation until the morning, Jared shared the news that he was going to try to knock Theresa up that night. While the newlyweds kissed, Ethan told a surprised Pilar that this was the blackmailer's newest demand. Jared picked up on Pilar's lack of excitement, but she just said she'd been surprised and would say a prayer for them. "Maybe this is a turning point," Jared offered. "Maybe our good fortune will rub off on your sons."

Julian stopped in on Eve, per her request. She was hoping for an update on their MIA son. He had nothing new, though they were both impressed with Valerie's speedy work. Julian worried that once they found their son he'd have no excuse to see Eve. As he waxed poetic and apologetic, she couldn't help but be touched. She admitted they'd had a wonderful love and when he apologized for ruining it all those years ago, she blamed Alistair. Then she apologized for going back to TC after his stroke and hoped their son was never hurt the way she'd hurt Julian. "I still love you," she revealed before a nurse called her away.

While Julian and Eve were hoping their son had turned out well despite a difficult time in foster care, someone unseen walked up on a prostitute who was shooting up. After she got her fix, the junkie got on her knees to give the unseen person his "usual." Then he/she strangled her and dumped her in the trash!

After an initial panic, Fancy (a.k.a. "Fay") was hired, effective immediately. She asked about "that scum" Luis. Her new co-worker took her to see him, but then they got sidelined by an altercation. "Fay" was impressive under fire, but her co-worker was suspicious when she said she was hoping to work in Luis' cellblock. "Are you hot for the guy or something?" he demanded. Luis, meanwhile, was displeased with his new cellmate's greeting, though he noted the kiss wasn't bad. That changed to shock when he realized it was a bearded Sheridan. She was quite giddy about what she'd done to be with Luis, but he worried it would make things worse. He ordered her to leave, but she said to calm down. Then the guard came and asked after his new cellmate. Sheridan kept her face turned and didn't respond to questions, so the guards left them to each other. She tried to seduce Luis, even as he said he loved Fancy.

Chief Bennett told Ethan his people were "combing the secret passageway for clues to the blackmailer's identity." He hoped they could save Luis, but Ethan said there was more on the line — namely, his relationship with Theresa, who had decided to have Jared's baby to save her brothers. Ivy listened in and ultimately heard Sam warn, "Don't give up on her like I did with your mother." After Sam bemoaned losing his first love for a bit, she interrupted. Ivy made snide comments about Theresa, but when Sam told Ethan to go to Theresa, Ivy feigned acceptance of his feelings. After Ethan left, she asked Sam if he believed Theresa would make their son happy. That turned into a conversation about the love they'd lost and he apologized for letting her go back to Julian on her wedding night. "Not keeping you with me then was probably one of my greatest mistakes," he said, so she reminded him that she was there for him now. "You're here and Grace isn't, because of what you did to my family," he said and turned from her. She apologized profusely and then asked if there was hope for them. He wasn't sure there was, so she went on a tirade against Alistair and the Cranes for turning her evil. She professed her love and excused herself. Shortly after Sam learned about the murdered prostitute and Eve showed up. The still faceless murderer was watching them and kept circling Eve's face on the window. Unaware, Eve and Sam discussed the blackmailer and then Eve apologized for her part in Ivy's scheme to end his marriage to Grace. When he told her of Ivy's visit, she suggested he forgive Ivy.

Julian, meanwhile, was toasting his possible future with Eve when Ivy stormed in on the attack. She slapped him and accused him of ruining her life.

Theresa stopped in on Jared, who was still at the hospital. He was confident the truth would be revealed and her brothers set free. Theresa agreed and to that end, wasted no time in suggested he knock her up, "the sooner the better." They started making out in his hospital bed, but Theresa was clearly forcing herself to do it. When Ethan arrived, they were gone. A nurse explained that Jared had been discharged because he was "more than up to going home with his bride." She was sure the newlyweds would be at it all night long, so he rushed to interrupt them. As Theresa gave herself a silent pep talk to stay in the mood, Ethan burst in, saying, "You can't do this!"

Paloma's somber mood didn't match her sexy top and Noah had no words to console her. The new cop was frustrated that the system she'd joined could be "railroaded," but Pilar interrupted and supported Noah's assertion that they should try to distract themselves. Unable to make sense of recent happenings, the mother and daughter held each other for support. Then Pilar sent the kids out and lit candles for her boys. She recalled how Martin and Antonio had returned and prayed for Luis and Miguel. She felt Antonio's caring touch from beyond. Meanwhile, Noah took Paloma to the wharf, where his mother used to take them when they needed to solve a problem. "We'd look out over the water and we'd wait for her to come up with a solution," he recalled. Then he told Paloma a story about someone else who'd been falsely imprisoned but then exonerated and she felt better, even after she spotted his tale and realized he'd made the story up.

At the prison, Fancy, a.k.a. Ms. Kent, played tough and had all the answers she needed to land a job as a guard. It seemed to be in the bag until a guard she knew entered. She played it off and shook hands with him, but panicked when he called her interviewer aside. Things didn't look good when they returned to say, "I'm sorry Ms. Kent, there's a problem." Back at the Crane cottage, meanwhile, Sheridan met with Spike, setting in motion her own plan to get to Luis. Spike refused to admit he'd done work for Julian or Alistair, but did agree he was the kind of guy who gets things done, "for a price." He poured himself a drink and flirted, so she smiled seductively, seeming to respond. Then she poured her wine over his head and screamed at him. He almost stormed out when he thought she wanted him to break Luis out of prison, but she had other ideas. "Make your calls and make it happen as soon as possible," she demanded after explaining her plan and the two set out.

The prison guard who beat Luis returned to give him a "shower," knocking him down with a fire hose. Then, another guard came by with towels and a dry uniform. While he took Luis' wet mattress to get a new one, Luis wondered why he looked familiar, but the got angry when the guard explained he was sent by his father. "I'm talking about your heavenly father, Luis," the guard corrected and glowed magically. Luis was even more touched when he realized it was Antonio, but suddenly another guard appeared and Luis was left alone. "Maybe I am losing it," Luis worried, but when he sat in bed he found a guard's baseball cap there. Luis was awakened later when a new bunkmate arrived. "You stay away from me and I won't have to kill you," Luis warned, but the blond inmate grabbed him and kissed him.

Theresa tried to stop Ethan from chasing after the blackmailer, but was relieved when he ignored her. She even rejoined the chase herself, but when she caught up to Ethan, he'd lost him/her. "The blackmailer always wins," she said, fearing they wouldn't get in front of him/her in time to save her brothers. Ethan remained confident, but Theresa wanted to believe the blackmailer's promise that he'd let her brothers go if she went back to Jared and had his baby. "That's not going to happen," Ethan insisted, but she left him, saying, "I need to give you up forever."

Simone considered her future without Rae and begged the Lord for a sign. That's when a morose Jessica walked by, upset over her pregnancy. Simone was horrified to hear Spike wanted to sell their baby, but insisted that running away was not the answer. She gave Jessica a pep talk and Jessica finally agreed, "Maybe everything can be alright." She thanked Simone for stopping her and being such a good friend. As they embraced, Simone felt she'd gotten the sign she'd been begging God for.
