Y&R Recaps Week of Oct. 31, 2005

Friday, November 4, 2005
Michael realized Tom has an accomplice — Jennifer Mitchell — and freaked out and threatened Tom's life again. "Don't overreact," Paul ordered. Sheila frantically searched for the photo of her from when she was a nurse at Genoa City Memorial. Scott flirted with a young nurse and left the photo with her to show another nurse. Then he went to see Brenda. Sheila sent him to get them a couple of sodas, then rifled through his bag looking for the photo. Later, she confronted him about taking the photo out of her purse.

Victor summoned Phyllis to the ranch to talk about the Web site. "I guess I did it out of the goodness of my heart," she insisted, getting weepy. Victor THANKED her. Later, J.T. stopped by and Victor asked J.T. to ask Paul if he knows any computer experts.

Tom showed up at Ashley's. She invited him in as she went upstairs to change. When Ash's phone rang, TT looked who was calling and it was "Paul Williams." Instead of going to the GCAC, Tom took a detour and brought Ashley to the park, where he started a fire so they can cook hot dogs and roast marshmallows. Michael and Paul ended up back at the house, where Gloria demanded to know what's going on.

Victoria and Nick continued to bicker about Brad and the Phyllis situation. J.T. showed up and Nick bit his head off. Nick left and went to the GCAC, where he walked in on Brad and Sharon at the bar. (Back at Newman, J.T. chatted up Bitchtoria...chemistry test anyone?) As Nick and Sharon ate dinner, you could cut the tension with the steak knife.

EOE (end of episode), Tom grabbed Ashley from behind.

Lauren came home from the hospital. Brenda called Scott and interrupted. Tom and Ashley played a game of cat-and-mouse. Ashley reported back to Paul and Michael that she decided to go on another date with Tom. She wanted to wear a wire, but Paul suggested bugging the table instead. Paul learned that a woman by the name of Jennifer Mitchell posted Tom's bail. Later, Sheila accused TT of having feelings for Ashley. "When we were together, she made me feel like a different guy," TT reminisced. "That's lovely," remarked Sheila sarcastically.

Victor asked Victoria how things are going with Nick at the office. She insisted they're getting along fine. Victor wasn't so hard on Nick for bringing in Phyllis to fix the Web site. When Victoria left, Victor phoned Phyllis.

J.T. told Mac that Brittany left town, as a sullen Jill moped around the house missing Joshua. She ended up at the GCAC, drowning her sorrows, until Katherine arrived and helped her snap out of it by giving her work to do. "I need you to get on the stick," Katherine ordered, upon which Jill called her an old bat. "That's the Jill I know and love," grinned her mama.

Nick warned Brad that he isn't going to scheme his way to the top of Newman under his watch. Nick reminded Brad of the time he and Jack tried to steal the company from Victor. Brad countered by bringing up the time Nick turned in his father to the feds. Touché! Brad berated Nick for not consulting the team before bringing in Phyllis to work on the site.

EOE (end of episode), Sheila realized the photo of her at the hospital was missing, and Tom showed up at Ashley's. "There's been a change of plans," he announced.

Victoria walked in on Phyllis working on the Newman Web site. "Please tell me she's checking her e-mail," Vic hissed. Brad also wasn't amused that Phyllis was hacking (so to speak) away at the system, and he and Nick once again butted heads. When Brad left, Nick asked Vic if she's still seeing Brad.

Jack asked Phyllis if she did what he said and messed with the system. She was vague and talked in riddles.

Sheila convinced Tom that Ashley framed him and he started to plot his revenge. Sheila suggested he slap Ash around, "as a last resort, of course." Later, Tom sneaked up on Ashley at the GCAC.

Brittany was bummed about J.T. rejecting her. Katherine (back from B&B) and Jill tried to lift her spirits, but Brittany announced she was leaving town and moving to New York. Poor Jill didn't want to say goodbye to baby Joshua. EOE (end of episode), Brittany shared a tearful goodbye with J.T., and then Brittany thanked everyone for everything and left for the Big Apple.

Yolanda ate breakfast with the Winters, then planned to go to a meeting. An emotional Yolanda thanked Neil for helping Devon with his schoolwork. Neil was touched.

Tom defended Ashley to Sheila. He called and asked Ashley on another date, but she let him down gently, making him suspicious. Ashley filled in Michael — in public (duh) — and TT spotted them.

Gloria asked Kevin to help her fix the books so John doesn't find out about the missing money. He agreed, because then he could test his brand-new scanner.

Scott played Sherlock at the hospital, inquiring about the portrait in the photo that fell out of Sheila's bag. Scott went to see Sheila and suggested that they make the locale for the book Genoa City. Then he asked her if she's ever set foot in GC before now. Tread carefully, Scotty...

Victoria planted one on Brad at the GCAC. "Being with you makes me happy, so who cares what anyone else thinks," insisted Vic. Cue the classic lovey-dovey Y&R music.

Nick was frustrated when the Newman Web site kept crashing. At Crimson Lights, Jack tried to persuade Phyllis to hack into the Newman computer system. When Phyllis hesitated and mentioned Nick, Jack asked why she's suddenly so worried about Nick. Later, at Newman, Nick asked Phyllis for her help, as they gazed into each other's eyes. The Phyllis got to work, even though it was going to take the rest of the night. Nick said he'd stick around and keep her company (hmm...).

Daniel surfed the Web looking for Lily. Later, Sierra slipped him the address of a Web site — studypals.net.

J.T. rebuffed Brittany's advances. "What you're talking about, it's fantasy," J.T. broke it to her. Brittany blew up and stormed off.

Sheila walked in on Scott looking at the picture of her as a nurse. Luckily, he hid the "evidence" before she could spot it, and she apologized for snapping at him. He went to visit Lauren at the hospital and updated her on the book and shared that he was worried about Brenda. In private, Scott informed Michael that someone trashed the wedding cake.

Tom sneaked up on Gloria at the GCAC as she lamented the aborted wedding and sipped a martini. Enter Ashley, who wondered what was going on. Then John arrived and asked Gloria about the receipts from the wedding (uh-oh). At the hospital, Paul and Michael wondered if Tom paid Lauren a visit.

Victoria accused Nick of gunning for Brad. Meanwhile, at the GCAC, Brad — an "opportunist," according to Nick — and Sharon looked over the spokesmodel photos and bonded over their kids' Halloween costumes. Brad revealed he and Victoria have decided to keep things on a "professional level." Enter Ashley, Nick and Bitchtoria, who arrived for the costume contest. Abby won, but gave the trophy to Noah in memory of Cassie.

Brittany told J.T. her home is in GC with him and her friends, and then he burped the baby. "You're the best guy I know, J.T." Brittany said, leaning in for a kiss. (Bobby WHO?).

Sheila warned TT to trust no one, "including your girlfriend Ashley Abbott." EOE (end of episode), Scott compared the portrait of the man (Y&R boss Jack Smith!) in the photo to the portrait on the wall at the hospital, deducing that Brenda is keeping something from him.
