Y&R Recaps Week of Nov. 28, 2005

Friday, December 2, 2005
Lauren woke up in Michael's apartment on the morning of her wedding. Michael came in with breakfast on a platter and kisses to spare, promising her plenty of happy tomorrows. Meanwhile, Sheila woke up Tom by taking his picture, claiming it was for his passport when they skip the country after kidnapping Lauren (riiight). Sharon prepared for her business trip to St. Louis, sending Noah off to school and working on Nick to come with her after all. He still declined, sending Sharon away disappointed.

Victoria flashbacked on her post-coital bliss with Brad. Nikki interrupted and told Vic she was glowing. Enter Brad — just for a second. Nikki caught on and was less than thrilled about their hookup. Nikki left to visit Nicholas, who vented his frustration about the distance between him and Sharon. Back at Newman, Sharon ran into Brad, telling him how much she wished he was going with her to St. Louis. She admitted to calling him the night before and hanging up, saying she "just wanted to hear" his voice. Crushing, anyone? Brad told her things were going well with him and Victoria, which didn't sit well with Sharon. Vikki showed up and Sharon left, only to double back to jealously watch Victoria and Brad kissing.

Tom grilled Sheila about the kidnapping plan, and found out she doesn't have it planned out very well. He expressed major doubts about the whole scheme. Sheila dressed up as Jennifer and lurked around the GCAC as the staff prepared for the wedding.

While getting ready to leave for St. Louis, Dru watched Yolanda and Devon get along, but she worried to Neil that Yolanda might still backslide and let down her son. Yolanda raved about Dru's traveling threads and gushed about her "exciting" life.

Gloria blew in on Michael and Lauren, thrilled the wedding day had finally arrived. Seconds later, Lauren's mother (the fabulous Susan Seaforth Hayes) blew in herself, leaving Lauren flabbergasted. Joanna noted that Lauren didn't bother to send her an invitation, but she hoped her presence wouldn't be too much of a shock (too late!). She promptly threw Michael out of his own apartment, citing it was bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding. Lauren introduced her to Glo, who was also blown away by Ms. Manning. Glo: "How do you do?" Joanna: "I do very well, thank you." Joanna went on to hit on "the handsome hunk of man" that is Scott before Lauren introduced him as her grandson, quietly dissed Glo's wedding invitations and assumed she would be giving away the bride until she was told that was Scott's job.

When Sheila stole the seating chart, Glo and Joanna ran out to the GCAC to fix things, clearing the way for Tom. Church bells rang as he let himself into the apartment and doused his handkerchief with chloroform....

What did Joanna want her grandson, Scott, to call her?

Kevin teased Michael, saying he lost the rings, as the big day FINALLY arrived. He taught Kev how to waltz (awwww). "Come to brother," joked Mickey. Kev reciprocated by teaching Michael the electric slide.

Sheila revealed to Tom that they're going to kidnap Lauren. TT wondered if this is about a kidnapping or... murder. TT asked her about Scott and why she's suddenly willing to walk away from him. Ashley called, telling Tom she couldn't bring him to the wedding. He hung up and told Sheila he'd think about her proposal, then they started to have sex — a "taste of what's lying ahead," as Sheila and her fake nose put it.

John hid his gun when Ashley stopped by Paul's office. John left for the GCAC and updated Gloria on the Jennifer Mitchell/TT situation. "This is all my fault," Glo cried.

Brad and Victoria basked in the afterglow of lovemaking.

Neil and Devon played basketball. Dru told Neil she wanted to go to St. Louis with Sharon, while Yolanda had a heart-to-heart with Devon. She asked him if he's upset with her. He said her chapped hands (!) reminded her of how his grandma's used to be, because she was always working because Yolanda wasn't there.

Sharon asked Nick if he'd go with her to St. Louis. He didn't think it was a good idea, even though she felt their marriage was in danger ("I can count on one hand how many times we've made love since Cassie died," Sharon lamented. Nick: "It has to be more than that.")

Lauren admitted to Scott that she's glad Brenda isn't coming to the wedding; she also noted that she still wants to read the book. Scott insisted Brenda is harmless. Silly boy.

Brad lovingly admired one of the photos of Sharon from the shoot, just as Victoria walked in. They kissed but were interrupted by Neil. Brad left to meet with Sharon and Dru; Dru revealed that they were staging a Beauty of Nature promotional tour.

Neil complained to Victor that he feels like he's serving two bosses — Nick and Victoria.

Phyllis floated an idea by Nikki to launch a women's wellness center. Victor spotted them brainstorming. Then he ran into Abby; they talked about the AIDS/poverty problem in Africa. Nikki peered on as Abby read a poem for Ashley and Victor. Shortly after, Victor stopped Phyllis and asked her what she was talking to Nikki about. Phyllis was cagey, especially when Victor brought up Jack.

Gloria explained to Ashley that she couldn't convince Jennifer to revoke Tom's bail. Darn.

John berated Jennifer for not revoking Tom's bail. Enter TT — and a whole lot of tension. The boys came to blows but Sheila...um, Jennifer... broke it up. When John left, Sheila ordered Tom to give up on this dream he has of him and Ashley walking off into the sunset. Then they made out and Sheila revealed she has a plan that will "blow you away." Meanwhile, John reported back to Paul and revealed that he's getting a gun (hmmm...).

EOE (end of episode), Brad and Bitchtoria made love at the Beauty of Nature studio. Luckily, Victor didn't walk in.

Nick swore to his new best friend Phyllis that he didn't rat her out to Jack — and he wasn't lying. Jack to Kevin: "Sit! You have no reason to be nervous with me." Then Jack asked for the proof — the discs — that Phyllis tampered with the site. Kev finally caved and handed over the info to Jack... just as Phyllis walked in! "Look at this. Once a weasel, always a weasel," Phyllis told a squirming Kevin. Then Phyllis ripped into Jack (again). Jack reminded her that she works for Jabot.

Brad consoled Sharon, then when she left he gave Victoria a backrub. Nick arrived and asked Brad to handle some Newman business that didn't involve the shoot. Sharon was miffed that Brad wasn't going to be there, and asked that he stay. Nick bit his lip and agreed. During the shoot, Brad decided to sex it up and put on a cover of "Tainted Love" (how appropriate). Victoria wasn't amused and commented to Nick: "Brad sure knows how to bring out the best in her."

Victoria briefed Victor and Nikki on the Beauty of Nature plans ( doesn't Nikki work for Jabot?!). V&N then went to the GCAC and talked about their kids and which child Victor likes better. When Victor stormed off, Phyllis came over and decided to pitch an idea to Nikki...

Gloria was aghast when Jennifer refused to revoke Tom's bail. Glo sweetened the deal by offering Jen $500 (big whoop!). When Tom returned, Sheila revealed to TT that his ex wants him back in the slammer. Then the two started to threaten each other (again). Glo went home and broke it to John that she couldn't revoke the bail. "You know, if you only told me the truth in the beginning," sighed John. He demanded to know where Jennifer Mitchell lives.

Tom worked on Ashley, trying to get her to bring him to Michael and Lauren's wedding. Then he moved in for a kiss. She pushed him away, and he left. Enter Paul, who warned Ash about Tom (again) then asked her to go to his place tomorrow...for dinner. She said yes, as long as he didn't mention Tom Fisher.

Jack interrupted Victor while he was working out. Then, walking away, he grinned, "Just you wait, Victor Newman."

Tom woke up with a hangover. Sheila threatened Tom again, then insisted she considers him a friend.

Phyllis plopped herself down and joined Brad for breakfast. They rehashed (recapped?) what happened on Thanksgiving, then talked business. Enter Jack. "I didn't hear from you at all," he said to Phyllis. "How was your Thanksgiving?" Then he revealed that he knew she got rid of the backdoor into the Newman Web site. Phyllis begged him to end this war with Victor, but Jack vowed he wouldn't rest till he brought The Moustache down.

Michael scolded Gloria for sucking Kevin into her plan to cook the wedding books. Gloria revealed that she came clean with her hubby. Back at the mansion, Ashley listened to an angry John and tossed TT's flowers into the trash. She went to work out at the GCAC where TT slithered up to her and said he wanted to mend fences with Mikey.

Sharon called Nick on not having a problem with Phyllis and Daniel joining them for Thanksgiving dinner. Enter Daniel, who brought by a magazine for Noah. At the office, Sharon let Brad smell the perfume she was wearing, then broke down about Cassie.

John asked Gloria to revoke Tom's bail; she hightailed it over to Jennifer's, asking her to help her revoke the bail. "You have to help me!" Glo demanded, adding nicely, "Please."

EOE (end of episode), Phyllis showed up on Nick's doorstep, ripping into him for ratting her out to Jack. Nick looked confused.
