Y&R WEEK OF FEBRUARY 18, 2008 RECAPS

Week of Monday, February 18, 2008

Phyllis, Nick, Sharon and Jack had a working dinner about their new magazine project. There was a lot of positive talk about Nick's new workspace. "This is the place where everything is going to be happening," Nick crowed, as he shared that he already owned the building. Oh, really? The rest of them were surprised. Nick raved about the natural light. They continued to talk business and planned a visit to Ashley at Forrester in Los Angeles. (Hint: There's a crossover coming.) It was agreed that Sharon would also have an office for her foundation in Nick's building as well.

Eric and Eric Jr./Adam sat by Hope's bed. She was in a lot of pain but she didn't want any medication. "I don't want anything clouding my mind," she said. She begged them both to listen to her. "I need to know that you are both going to do what I asked of you," she whispered, barely getting the words out. Hope explained that she had forced Victor to stay away from them. She added that Victor could have taken her son away from her, but didn't. Victor Jr. wasn't listening and claimed that Victor didn't want them. Hope's dearest wish was to have the two of them together. Victor promised to stay close to "our son." Victor Jr. said he didn't need him. Hope was fading fast. Victor Jr. told his dad he wanted to stay focused on Hope, and he didn't want to open up to his father. Victor Jr. was wary of any attempts Victor made to forge a bond. Barely breathing, Hope remembered her romance with Victor and the birth of their baby. Victor Jr. came back to his mom's side. Hope said that having her son and Victor there "was everything I need." She told her son that it was very unselfish of Victor to stay away all this time. "He always kept track of you," she noted. "I can't love somebody I never knew," her son replied. "Relationships take time," Hope admitted. She began to say goodbye to her men. "Please make peace with each other. Take care of each other," she begged. The nurse showed up and took Hope's vitals; she was dead. Victor Jr. wept. Victor thanked the nurse for all she had done.

Kevin continued to slowly poison his mother as she watched. "Do you know how much I trust you?" she asked. Kevin thought there was enough in her to show up on tests. Gloria grumbled about Jack and Sharon being in the way of her scheme to frame her husband as her would-be murderer. She worked on the guest list for the poisoned dinner party. Jeffrey arrived and asked if Kevin was living there now, and accused them of planning his demise. Once they left, Jeffrey screened the entire meeting mother and son had just had. He thought their plan was pretty darn clever, "indeed." At the coffeehouse, Gloria panicked that she had left her purse (with the poison) at the house. She had, and Jeffrey was delighted when he found it. Gloria rushed home and found the poison safe and sound. Jeffrey hinted to Gloria that she better be nice to him or he might find the need to hurt her. Gloria was delighted to hear him say those words, though she covered well. Jeffrey and Gloria left the room, with Gloria holding on to her purse for dear life.

Jack, Sharon and Noah came home to find the house a total mess. They saw Gloria hunched over in pain. Sharon suggested they order a pizza, as "they have the kitchen for two hours." Sharon straightened out the living room, with Jack and Noah's help. Gloria appeared at the front door, complaining about her cramps and looking for her car keys. Sharon found them and Jack sent her on her way. "You are not going to drive us out," Jack vowed.

Amber hoped her night with Daniel wouldn't ruin their friendship.
