Kevin and Jana staged a Thanksgiving meal for the needy at the coffeehouse. She was curious as to where her hubby got the bucks to buy her scooter and all the food for the feast, but he claimed he used a credit card. Gloria then Michael showed up and he blasted his mom about not helping River. After she slipped away, Kevin blabbed to his brother that Gloria is planning a takeover of Jabot with Jeffrey and Jack.

Devon was miffed that Yolanda's phone had been turned off which meant she wasn't reachable. Neil contacted Michael for help in getting Ana back. "What you need is a sympathetic judge who doesn't mind being pulled away from his family on a holiday," Michael advised so nothing could be accomplished until the next day. Neil, Tyra and Devon tried to convinced the social worker to allow Ana to stay with them, but were turned down. It was also revealed that Yolanda was now clean of drugs and married. "I should've never come to Genoa City," Tyra sobbed. Billy overheard the legal woes and, with Lily in tow, tracked down a lawyer buddy, Rafe for help.

Jack was surprised when Jeff announced that he wanted to be appointed CEO of Jabot once the takeover was complete at the stockholders' meeting. "I'll act for the good of the company, with your guidance, of course," Jeff assured so Jack grudgingly agreed. Later, Jack was again surprised when Gloria approached him to remind that she would be named CEO as they planned. Jack didn't reveal his earlier conversation with Jeff, who returned so Jack made a toast to their effort tomorrow.

Daniel had to comfort Amber who broke down after she burned the turkey. It turned out she was really missing Katherine. They went to Mrs. C's grave so Amber could have a good cry. Later Amber and Daniel promised to focus on their new careers, fashion design and art, respectively.

Gloria and Jeff came back to the coffeehouse, where Michael asked about the takeover. "It's a dream come true, Michael," Glo chirped but her son asked when she became so "heartless." Later, Jana found Kevin's stash of money and he explained it belonged to Kay. Kev said he would give it up if that's what Jana wanted but she said it wasn't her decision. "It's up to you," Jana pointed out.

As Ana's closest relative, Devon was allowed to see Ana who was understandably frightened. He assured his little sis that she will be back home with them soon. Devon gave Ana his watch so she would sing every hour. Tyra was allowed to say goodbye before Ana was led away to a foster home for the night. Billy and Lily returned to announce that they got the best public defender to represent Tyra and Ana. Gil apologized for turning Tyra in but she was too angry to be receptive. Neil explained to Tyra that Gil was only doing his job. Tyra and Devon comforted each other over the trouble Yolanda is causing.
