By the box car, Amber slept. When she awakened, she found Kevin guzzling alcohol. They noted that they hadn't heard the cops for a while and hoped they left the area. Kevin suggested they make a run for it before they were found. Amber wanted to check his wounded leg first. As she did so, Kevin admired the cash they took. Amber insisted that she didn't care about money anymore, but Kevin didn't believe that people could change. He became angry when she revealed that Michael and Daniel were looking for him. Amber denied contacting them, but said that the guys wanted to help them because they loved them. Kevin didn't think anyone could love him or Amber. Amber didn't believe this, noting that Daniel loves her and Jana loves Kevin. Amber refused to give up on him. "I know who you are!" she shouted. "You're wrong," Kevin said sadly. "I'm so grateful to have a friend like you," she tearfully told him, adding that she loves him. Kevin broke down in her arms.

At the tack house, Phyllis and Nikki put together the Restless Style cover story on Katherine. Phyllis told her mother-in-law that things were going well for her and Nick. After Nikki left, Phyllis wrote the article on Kay, but thought about Sharon. To herself, she gloated about how Nick had chosen her over Sharon.

Nick brought Noah to the Abbott mansion to see Sharon. Jack greeted them and informed them that Sharon wasn't there. Sharon then arrived and told them that she moved back to the GCAC. Noah was upset that his mother was being so indecisive and wished she'd be herself again.

At the pool house, Billy complained about having to be the "nanny" to Cordelia while Chloe went to find a babysitter for them. After Chloe left, Delia began crying. Meanwhile, at the Chancellor Estate, Jill was alarmed when Esther told her that Billy and Chloe were getting married at the mansion the next day. Jill feared that Billy was going to be trapped in a miserable marriage with Esther's "psycho spawn." "Is this really what you want for Chloe?" Jill asked. Esther angrily replied that she wants what's best for her daughter. Jill argued that Chloe was a liar and obsessed with Billy; Esther didn't want to talk to her. Jill then announced that she was going to buy Esther's half of the house. Esther was confident that Jill would "get hers" when Kay returned.

At Crimson Lights, Cane shared a coffee with Lily and said he'd always wait for her.... Chloe met with Eden at Crimson Lights and asked if the teen could babysit Chloe. Cane overheard and was upset with the arrangement. After, Chloe noticed that Lily wasn't wearing Cane's engagement ring. Lily accused Chloe of being obsessed with wanting to marry a Chancellor. Chloe stated that she's not giving up her child. Lily warned that loving Delia wouldn't make her marriage to Billy last. At the pool house, Billy tried to calm Delia. He imagined what life would've been like if he were married to Mackenzie and Delia were their child. His fantasy was interrupted when Cane stopped by. Cane asked if Billy really wanted to be a married man. "That's not you, Billy," he said. "You have no idea who I am," Billy retorted. Cane asked why Billy was marrying someone he didn't love, but Billy wouldn't discuss it with him. Cane offered to resign as Jabot's CEO if Billy let him raise Delia. A furious Billy kicked Cane out of his home. Later, Cane returned to the coffeehouse and told Lily that his talk with Billy didn't go anywhere. Billy again thought about what life with Mac would've been like, but his fantasy ended when Chloe came home.

Phyllis picked up Noah from Jack's. He continued to mope over Sharon's move. Phyllis was surprised, but noted that Sharon was going through some things. She assured Noah that Sharon loves him. Noah wasn't placated and stormed up to his room. Phyllis then sat at her computer and typed "BITCH!" in large red letters, with three exclamation points after it! Back at the Abbott mansion, Nick and Sharon argued over Noah's living arrangements, with Jack defending Sharon. Nick urged Sharon to help herself so Noah didn't have to keep moving back and forth. She was furious with Nick for being judgmental. Nick returned home and complained to Phyllis about Sharon's behavior.... Jack asked Sharon to return for Billy and Chloe's rehearsal dinner as a favor to him. Sharon agreed.

Kay greeted Brock, who returned to Genoa City. He couldn't believe that his mother was alive. "Miracles happen," Nikki said. Brock agreed to keep his mind open.... Meanwhile, at the trailer, Kay tried to teach Murphy how to dance. He joked about how he'd stepped on her foot a certain number of times when they did the mambo the other day. They were interrupted when Brock stopped by. Kay immediately embraced him. "Mother?" a bewildered Brock asked. Kay and Murphy filled him in on Kay's past few months, including her memory loss. Brock asked if she'd been tested for Lyme disease. Nikki and Kay were surprised that this could be what was ailing her. Nikki called the doctor right away so Kay could get tested. Later, they discussed how Jill refused to believe Kay's identity. Kay believed that Jill did love her and just needed a second chance. Murphy promised to stick by Kay, no matter what happened.... Brock paid Jill a visit and insisted that the woman he saw was indeed his mother. Jill refused to believe him, noting that she feared it would be confirmed that she and Kay were not related. Brock assured Jill that they'd find a way to get through things together.... A relieved Kay learned that she does have Lyme disease and can be cured. She, Murphy and Nikki celebrated Kay getting her life back.
