Y&R WEEK OF APRIL 13, 2009 RECAPS

Week of Monday, April 13, 2009

Mitchell Sherman met with Katherine and Murphy and told Kay he had important news regarding her estate. He revealed that her death certificate has been declared invalid and that all of her money and property can now be returned to her. The lawyer noted that Marge's family and friends would probably want closure for her. Kay and Murphy decided that Marge needed a proper memorial service.

Kevin and Amber sat for their arraignment at the courthouse. Jana tried to reach out to Kevin, but was told that there would be no contact with the prisoner. Heather got up and read the charges against Kevin, including armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. She also listed Clint's death as being something Kevin was possibly responsible for. Michael then announced that Kevin has deep psychological problems. Heather cut in and argued that Kevin shot at people. Michael went on that Kevin was tortured by his captors. Amber stood up and began yelling at Heather, but was told to sit down. Michael continued to insist that Kevin was the victim. Kevin just sat there staring into space. Michael urged for his brother to get proper treatment — and pointed out that Heather regularly patronizes Kevin's coffeehouse. Amber again shouted out that Kevin wouldn't kill anyone. Heather noted that Amber wrote a plea for help inside the closet Kevin was keeping her in. Michael and Daniel urged Amber to keep quiet. When the guard grabbed Amber, Kevin freaked out.

Katherine arrived to support Amber. When Gloria blamed herself for Kevin's condition, Kay told Glo to stop thinking of herself for once.... Michael hoped Kevin's outburst would actually work for him and prove how he needed psychological help. Later, the judge ordered for Kevin to be taken to a psychological facility. Michael argued that if Kevin wasn't acting of his own free will, then Amber couldn't be a co-conspirator; he also noted that they had bank security footage of Amber mouthing "Help." The judge stated that the charges against Amber still stood, but granted her bail at $1 million. Kay offered to pay it. "I don't know I'm going to repay you," Amber cried. "You already have," Kay told her. Later, Jana and Michael visited Kevin in the mental facility — and learned that Kevin was being kept in a padded cell. "You promised! You lied to me, Michael!" Kevin yelled.

Phyllis prayed that Nick wasn't again cheating on her with Sharon. Meanwhile, Nick and Sharon were reluctant to leave the cabin. Phyllis panicked when she didn't hear from Nick and left the tack house.... At the cabin, Sharon wondered if she and Nick would still be together if Cassie hadn't died. They agreed that they probably would still be married. Sharon confessed that she's falling apart and embraced Nick. Nick apologized for sleeping with her that other time. Sharon replied that she'll never regret it. Nick leaned in and kissed her. She kissed him back and it became more passionate; they fell onto the floor together..... Phyllis disguised herself as a maid at the GCAC and let herself into Sharon's suite. She grabbed a scissors and began cutting up Sharon's clothes, yelling that Sharon's a mess the whole time. Juxtaposed with scenes where Nick and Sharon were tenderly making love (again) were the scenes of Phyllis angrily trashing Sharon's hotel room.

Lauren lectured Eden and Noah at Crimson Lights for trying to run off to the cabin. They urged Lauren to be with Michael as assured her that she could trust them. Lauren reluctantly agreed to let them be. Noah went to drive Eden home, but Eden wanted to go back to his place. Noah took her to the tack house and they found no one was home. Eden wondered how those books ended up in her bag and called herself a magnet for bad luck; Noah replied that everything they've been through has only brought them closer together. Eden asked if he was upset with her for asking him to wait until they slept together. Noah said he wasn't angry and appreciated her being honest with him. They kissed.

While trashing Sharon's room, Phyllis came across the items Sharon had stolen. Phyllis took a lipstick and scribbled, "I Hate Myself," on Sharon's mirror. "I hate you, too," Phyllis whispered, but it wasn't clear if she meant Sharon — or herself. Phyllis then called the police (using a Southern accent) and informed them that she worked in housekeeping and found the room in a "terrible" state.

Nick and Sharon returned to Genoa City. They looked for Noah in Crimson Lights, but he wasn't there. They agreed that they weren't sorry about what had happened between them, but Nick wasn't sure what he was going to tell Phyllis. After, Nick and Phyllis ran into each other at the front door to their home. "What did I miss?" Phyllis asked. "I actually think you and I need to talk," he said. They entered their home ... and found Noah and Eden undressed. Nick ordered Eden to get dressed so he could take her home.... Sharon returned to her suite and found it trashed — and the cops there. They informed her that they were investigating a report of stolen belongings.
