Lily feared the imminent results of the biopsy. Lily understood why Cane hadn't been open with her. Lily added that she fears losing everything. In the waiting room, Neil, Olivia and Devon sat waiting for news on the biopsy. Olivia got a call; the lab results were in. Lily recounted the conversation where Cane admitted he was glad they never had children and was glad "that I could live my life with someone else." "But I don't want to be free," Lily said sadly. "I'm scared. I don't want to die," Lily sobbed into Colleen's arms.

Olivia returned with news. Neil entered Lily's room and Colleen left. She saw Olivia comforting Devon. "It's bad isn't it," Lily said, crying. Neil confirmed that she has cancer. Olivia was going to schedule surgery right away. "This can't be happening," Lily wept. Neil assured his daughter that women beat this kind of cancer every day as he took Lily into his arms. Olivia began to tell Lily everything. She said they would know more after the surgery. Olivia said she might have to have a hysterectomy, but that would be the worse case scenario. Lily asked what her odds where and told her father to stop trying to protect her. Olivia said there was a 45-percent survival rate. Everyone in the room started to cry. Neil and Devon reassured Lily that they would be by her side every step of the way. Olivia comforted a heartbroken Neil in the waiting room. "She needs her mother," he said. Olivia reminded Neil that he survived losing Dru. Neil started crying at the thought of losing Lily.

Colleen handed Lily a phone and she dialed Cane's number. She got his answering machine and hung up. "I can't," she said.

Billy wanted to talk to his brother Phillip. Chance and Nina entered the living room. Billy told Phillip that if he hurts "Katherine or my mom I will kill you." Phillip assured them that he wasn't gong to hurt anybody any more. Chance was introduced to everyone and Chloe immediately began flirting with him. She introduced herself as "Delia's mom." Billy said goodbye to everyone. Jill thanked Billy for making an effort with his brother.

Jill had lunch with Michael and asked him to work out the legal ramifications dealing with Phillip's return. "Starting with my will," she said firmly. Jill said she wanted the inheritance split between 3 sons — Billy, Phillip and Cane. Michael thought this was a nightmare in the making. Jill told him that in her mind Cane is still her son. "I will always love him as my own," she vowed.

Michael didn't think Kevin's "Embrace your inner chipmunk" T-shirts would be a big seller. Kevin disagreed with his brother. Kevin thought he could reach beyond "his demographic." Michael patiently listened. Kevin wanted to copyright the plan. Michael wasn't as convinced but told his younger brother that he thought he was on to something. Michael said he'd start working on the copyright. Kevin had a surprise for Jana. "It's going to change our lives for the better," Kevin told her excitedly. "It's marketing the idea of embracing your inner chipmunk," he said. Jana remembered hearing about that but never thought he was serious. Jana thought it was awful that Kevin was cashing in on his crimes. Jana suggested he donate the money to charity. Kevin said he would much to Jana's delight.

Mac visited Billy's new apartment. He had bought Murphy's old trailer as a birthday present for himself. The two kissed and kissed but Billy's cell phone interrupted them. It was Colleen with the news about Lily. Billy was stunned to hear she has cancer. Billy asked if he could see her. Colleen said that everyone was scared. Billy said he'd give the family time and then he's visit Lily. Colleen asked where Cane was. "Probably the outback," he snapped. Billy told Mac the news. Mac went to find Cane. Billy didn't think Mac should work so hard to find Cane. "You might not think that Lily needs Cane, but you are wrong," Mac said as she headed out.

Cane was at the airport waiting to board a plane. Mac found him. "You have to stay. Lily needs you," Mac said.
