Victor reminded Michael that Ashley and her baby are his concern. Victor didn't want Ashley put away. "I want her with people she trusts," Victor said. Michael told him he couldn't overrule the court order, an order that was instigated by Jack. "How do I tell her that her own brother wants her committed to a mental ward?" Victor asked.

Ashley told Adam she was afraid to confide in Victor. She didn't think she could ever tell him about the Sabrina sightings. Adam was pretty sure that Victor could tell she was pretty rattled. Adam suggested she keep her distance from Victor but she didn't see how she could do that. Victor knocked on Ashley's door. Victor told her that Jack had convinced a judge that she can't make her decisions. He added that Jack got a court order that says Ashley might submit to some tests. "He wants me committed," she said frantically. "This s a nightmare," she moaned. Victor tried to calm his wife down. "Just be yourself," Victor said. Adam listened by the door. Victor left and Ashley immediately called Jack and demanded he come over.

Jack arrived at the ranch. Michael said that the interview would take place at the ranch. "What the hell are you doing here?" Victor barked. Ashley called for her brother to come upstairs. "How could you do this to me?" Ashley asked. "This is my home," she cried. "I'm not giving you up on you," Jack said. Jack tried to explain that he didn't want to see his sister deteriorate. "It looks like you are living on tea and nightmares," he said. Jack practically started to cry when he wondered what sucked the light out of her. "Say something," he begged. Ashley told Jack to put a stop to this court order or "you will lose a sister." Jack insisted that living with Victor had seriously harmed Ashley.

Victor and Jack went head to head about Ashley. Victor asked Jack to drop the court order. Jack got a call saying the court-ordered psychiatrist was on her way over.

Ashley wondered to Adam, "What if I fail this test?" Ashley genuinely feared being taken away to an institution. "That's when the crying starts," she said. Adam assured her that she wasn't going anywhere.

Cane sat by Lily as she had her first round of chemo. Lily remembered all the fabulous times Cane had surprised her. He regretted not telling her the truth. Cane told a story about "Lane" which actually explained to her why Cane couldn't go back to his own country. Lily and Cane went home. Cane was ready to take care of her. "I feel great," she said.

Jack called Sharon in the institution. Sharon told Jack she was grateful that he was keeping the secret. She insisted that she have some time alone. Noah visited his mother. Sharon told her son that she was doing great.

Phyllis and Nick were overjoyed that Summer would be making a full recovery. A reporter asked Nick how he liked seeing his ex-wife in "the loony bin." Nick told her that Sharon (and the rest of his family) were off limits. Nick told Phyllis how grateful he was she let him earn his way back into the family. Phyllis and Nick kissed goodbye and both headed off to other places.

Jack told Nick he'd field questions from the press. Nick asked Noah how things went with the visit to his mother. Noah didn't know why Nick hadn't gone to visit Sharon.

Phyllis paid Sharon a visit. Sharon wondered why she came. Phyllis warned her that the press was around. Sharon told Phyllis that she and the baby would survive. Phyllis was impressed by Sharon's calm serenity. Sharon and Phyllis had a nice talk, and Phyllis asked Sharon if she had made any Decisions about her new life, suggesting that Sharon should give Jack a second chance. She also wondered why Jack, the father of Sharon's baby, hadn't visited her once.

Michael refused to hand over his blackberry to Lauren before they had dinner, then apologized for been so obsessed with work. When Lauren said the kids were all being taken care of, Michael immediately asked for a room key to the hotel they were dining in.
