While Gloria consulted with Michael, Katherine asked Jack and Ashley to at least make Gloria feel like she's a part of things at Jabot. Later, Gloria returned to Jabot and apologized to Katherine for making a scene. She promised Katherine she'd back off Jabot if she became a loose cannon.

Kevin accused Colleen of sleeping with J.T., just as J.T. confessed to Mac that he slept with someone but not Colleen. (Mac didn't want to know who the girl was.) She dumped him, so he went to cry on Victoria's shoulder.

Nikki brought over a photo album of Nicholas and Sharon for Nick, who wanted to remember how much Sharon means to him. Unfortunately, he couldn't stop thinking of Phyllis. She couldn't stop thinking of him either. Enter Jack, who wanted to "kiss all your troubles away."

Sharon dropped by with files for Phyllis. Sharon gushed about how amazing Nick has been lately. "It's like we're newlyweds," Sharon giggled. Neil interrupted, crying about Daniel again. Phyllis suggested Neil let it go.

Dru begged Lily not to tell Neil the truth, but also ordered her to go pack her bags because she was going back to boarding school. Fat chance! Lily did pack her things...but ran off to be with Daniel.

Victoria admitted to Brad that she still has feelings for him, and that she'd like to give them another try. Later, she blurted out to Nikki that she slept with... J.T.!

Nick brought up J.T. with Victoria, who was annoyed Sharon opened her big mouth. Nick said he wouldn't judge (how could he considering he's having an affair with Phyllis?). Then they talked about Brad, and Victoria was surprised when Nick felt they should get back together.

Victor found Brad in the tack house looking for Victoria. Brad warned Victor that he's not giving up on Victoria, then went to see Victoria to hand her his letter for resignation. Victoria wouldn't accept it.

Katherine stood up for Gloria at the mini-Jabot board meeting. Then Katherine called for a vote on whether Gloria should replace John on the board. Jack, Ashley and even Katherine voted no. "Why, wasn't that a fun little charade?" Gloria remarked afterward.

Michael asked an emotional Phyllis what's up, but she didn't tell him the truth. Later, she fantasized about Nick showing up with a rose (what does she think this is, THE BACHELOR?) and telling her he can't live without her.

Mac and Kevin got into a fight over J.T. He went to Crimson Lights and confronted Colleen about what went on between her and J.T. At the loft, Mac asked J.T. if he slept with Colleen. He said he didn't.

When Neil told Lily he's sending her back to boarding school, Lily ordered Dru to tell him that's not happening. Dru asked to be left alone with Lily, who continued to blackmail her.

Brad wanted to know why Sharon thought that it was "too late" for Brad and Victoria to reconcile. She was about to spill about her sister-in-law's one night stand when Vikki walked in. Sharon covered with business stuff. Victoria didn't really buy it, but she left them alone. They went into Victoria's office for privacy. Sharon gushed over the painting Brad gave Victoria (unlike the recipient). When Sharon wouldn't tell what she knew, Brad accused her of trying to undermine his relationship with another woman, even though she chose to stay with Nick "a long time ago." Colleen interrupted, and Sharon left. Colleen announced she's not going back to New York. When Brad asked why, she remembered eavesdropping on Katherine and Kevin talking about Mac and J.T.'s fight. She told her dad she wants to be here for the family. He fretted that Colleen was giving up too much, but she insisted she wanted to stay in Genoa City. Brad welcomed her home, and left to go visit Victoria.

Mackenzie continued to fret that J.T. wouldn't come back to her. Kevin told her she was "better off" without him. Mac didn't agree, and worried about where J.T. was last night. She assumed he was with Colleen. Kevin told her not to assume; he could have been anywhere. Mac glowed that Kevin has been such an awesome friend. At the GCAC, J.T. flashed back to his hot romp with Victoria. He went back to the tack house, where Victoria was just leaving. She stayed, and they chatted about how they felt The Day After. J.T. came home and got into it with Kevin. Colleen chatted with Mac at Crimson Lights. Mac asked her point blank if J.T. was with her last night.

Gloria bristled that Jack cancelled her first Jabot board meeting. Ashley was shocked, but didn't fight her brother on it. Jack and Glo sniped at each other. She complained about his lack of respect, and he maintained he didn't need to respect her because she didn't bring any skills to the company. He urged her to stick to what she knows: spending John's money (ouch). After Gloria left, Ashley worried that Jack went too far. At the GCAC, Katherine was told that the meeting was canceled. Gloria arrived and told Kay she has John's proxy, and wants to have a voice at Jabot. Kay reminded her that she'll still have a limited role as a shareholder. Glo said she knows — that's why she wants to be made a member of the board, and she wants Kay's support. Katherine called Jack and told him to put the board meeting back on, as planned.

Lily told Daniel about her talk with Neil. Daniel thought she was making a big mistake by blackmailing Dru so they could keep seeing each other. "Do you really want to punish [Neil] for some stupid mistake your Mom made?" he asked. He urged her to find another way to handle this, but she insisted there was no other way. Meanwhile, Drucilla and Neil talked about their "little girl." Neil marveled at how determined Lily was to continue seeing Daniel. He wanted to send her back to boarding school, but Dru balked, shocking her husband. Dru worried that they could "alienate Lily for life" if they took a hard line with her. Neil disagreed; he called Daniel "a drug" for Lily. He wanted to know why Dru had suddenly changed her mind about the situation. She wouldn't say. Lily came home to her parents sitting in silence, and she was ready to talk.

Nick fantasized about having breakfast with Phyllis, but he was really with Sharon and Noah. Brad called looking for Victoria; he asked her to stop by the tack house — where J.T. was still naked on the couch. J.T. had clothes on by time Sharon arrived, but she still figured out what was going on (yet the poor thing still has no clue about her husband and Phyllis). When J.T. left, Sharon asked Victoria what she could be thinking; Victoria told her to butt out. Sharon ran and told Nick about the tryst. Brad stopped by Victoria's office and tried to get back together with her. Later, it appeared Sharon was going to tell Brad that Victoria hooked up with J.T.

Neil had a heart-to-heart talk with Lily, who still didn't tell him she's not her daughter. But she DID tell him that she's been seeing Daniel. Neil was livid and threatened to send her back to boarding school. Lily suggested that he talk to Dru first about the situation.

Dru called Malcolm, but he didn't answer his phone (maybe he was tied up with a crime on CRIMINAL MINDS).

Kevin suggested that Gloria not make waves right away at Jabot. Then she left for the board meeting, but Jack showed up with Ashley and announced that he canceled the meeting.

After sleeping with Victoria, J.T. accused Mac of having feelings for Kevin.

Nick, Phyllis and Jack all ran into each other at the GCAC, and Nick learned that she and Jack got back together.

Lily and Dru didn't come clean with Neil when he asked what was going on. Neil pressed the matter with Lily, but she still kept her mouth shut and asked for a moment alone with her mother. In private, Dru admitted that Malcolm knows the truth. Then Lily dropped a bombshell of her own: She and Daniel are still together. Dru was furious, but didn't really have a leg to stand on. "And Phyllis knows," Lily added. Ouch. Lily blackmailed Dru and ordered her to convince Neil that it's OK for her to see Daniel.

Jack asked Phyllis what was wrong after she had a breakdown. She was about to confess, but then changed her mind. Then she took off after telling him he's an "amazing man." Ashley came home and they opened a loving letter from John (Jerry Douglas, who did the voiceover). He asked them to be nice to Gloria.

J.T. and Victoria got drunk and had abs-olutely fabulous sex. It was safe, since the next scene started with a shot of the condom wrapper on the coffee table. Brad called when J.T. dozed off.

Ashley "put up the wall again," as Paul put it. He suggested that she not throw herself into her work and that she live a little. Then he leaned over and kissed her.

Colleen and Brad talked about J.T. at Crimson Lights, unaware that he was naked on Victoria's couch. Katherine thanked Kevin for supporting her poor granddaughter, as sneaky Colleen eavesdropped.

2005 recaps
