Victor informed Nicholas that he knows about Nick and Phyllis's affair. Nick admitted that Sharon also knows; Victor correctly concluded that this is why the couple had been acting strangely and Nick had tried to move NVP's office. Nick insisted that he wants to work on his marriage and had never intended to betray Sharon. "You know what, Dad? Phyllis made me laugh again," Nick said simply. "I realized I was truly dead inside. Phyllis changed all of that." Victor was sympathetic, but warned his son that it's a "dangerous game." Nick then explained that he'd planned to tell Sharon he was leaving her when they got the news that Noah had been hurt — and that's when he'd decided to break things off with Phyllis. "Make sure it never happens again, because the damage you do is not only to your wife, but to your family," Vic advised.

Meanwhile, Phyllis panicked about Victor finding out. Daniel apologized for letting it slip; Phyllis noted that she's already lost her son and nothing could be worse. She admitted to him that she and Nick had had an actual relationship. "We weren't looking for it, we weren't expecting it, but it happened and it was real," she began. "You're looking for answers and you want to know why ... but I don't know why myself. The only thing I can come up with is that sometimes people put their emotions ahead of them," she went on. "I'm human; you can at least give me that, can't you?" This touched Daniel, who sat down and actually listened to his mom talk. Later, Nick came by to see Phyllis, who continued to worry about Victor. Nick promised that Vic wouldn't tell Nikki what had happened. He suggested that she quit, but she refused.

Sharon sadly thought back to her conversation with Phyllis, where she told her off for having the affair. Noah then asked his mom why she's been unhappy; she didn't really answer, saying that she's had a lot on her mind. Noah said that he missed Daniel coaching his team. Sharon explained that Daniel's now married. "Oh, I guess he's way too busy," Noah said a little too cheerfully for such a young kid. Later, Victor apologized to Sharon for his son's actions. Sharon told Vic she wants Phyllis out of Newman Towers. Victor urged her not to give up on the marriage, especially since she and Nick have a child. Daniel then stopped by to see Sharon and Noah; Noah was thrilled when he agreed to toss a ball around with him for a while. Nick came to see Sharon again and pleaded with her to let Phyll keep her job; Sharon couldn't believe that he was being so insensitive to her feelings. Victor, meanwhile, paid Phyllis a visit and told her to let someone know where she wanted her things sent. Uh oh...

Gloria was upset that Kevin told Michael about her sabotaging the Jabot cream. Michael was furious with her for doing such an underhanded thing; she insisted that she'd never planned to hurt someone. "There is no excuse — NONE!" he yelled. "This was a criminal act. You seem to have no concept of the trouble you're in." Glo began to cry, refusing to believe that the D.A. is investigating anyone other than Ashley. "I am your mother!" she bawled. "My very guilty mother!" he shot back. Gloria begged him not to tell anyone; he threatened to turn her in himself. Her eyes bugged out and her hands shook as she contemplated what he'd said. Later, Gloria told off Kevin for blabbing to Michael, noting that she was trying to help him, as well. Kev didn't buy her reasoning.

Jack couldn't believe that Ashley would help Bardwell with his investigation. She explained that not only is she helping, she's agreed to take a lie detector test. Michael later came down to the office and was also against it, but she insisted.

J.T. invited Coll for dinner at his place. She teased him about his place being a mess. "Know those pictures of places after a tornado's hit?" she asked. "This is way worse." She then took a look around his apartment and was pleased to see he'd kept all of the classic books he'd read when she was tutoring him. She was surprised by which was his favorite. Discussing literature ended up being a turn-on for them and they kissed.

Michael was over-the-moon that Lauren was pregnant, but she wanted to keep their news quiet — especially from Gloria. "I was thinking about how crazy she went during our wedding," Lauren noted. "Can you imagine what she's going to do when she finds out she's going to be a grandmother?" Michael agreed to stay mum.

Ashley and Jack were not pleased when Kevin moved in. "He's living here for as long as he likes," sniffed Gloria. The phone rang: it was the D.A.'s office announcing that Will Bardwell was on his way over. Jack summoned Michael and once everyone was gathered in the Abbott living room, Will revealed that after random testing, it appears only the promotional jars of moisturizer had been tainted, which meant contamination happened inside the Jabot lab. Ashley agreed to assist in the investigation. When Michael, Kevin and Gloria were alone, Kevin finally blabbed that their mother was responsible for tampering with the moisturizer.

Sharon was peeved to hear that Phyllis refused to quit. Nick offered to get his mom to lean on Phyllis but Sharon argued that her mother-in-law was the last person she wanted to be in the know. "I'm sure she'll find some way to make it my fault," groused Sharon. Nick said he would try to reason with his mother without revealing the ugly truth.

At Newman Enterprises, Victor escorted Daniel to the mail room. "That way you become familiar with how the office works," Vic reasoned. Daniel was impressed at watching Victor in action and aspired to be just like his mentor. Daniel later crossed paths with Sharon and expressed his guilt over her marital problems. "My husband is responsible for his own decisions and their consequences," Sharon explained.

Neil wasn't happy to hear that Daniel was working at N.E. "I hope you treat the boy fairly," Victor advised. Neil agreed. Nick showed up and Victor was surprised that his son didn't want to read over Neil's report on an upcoming business deal. "I trust Neil," Nick said, but Victor angrily warned Nick to pay more attention on the job.

At the boutique, Lily was miffed when Dru showed up as the first customer of the day. Before Lily knew it, her mother had amassed a huge pile of clothes to purchase. Dru then announced the clothes were for her daughter to keep. Lily objected but Dru ignored her. After Dru left, Neil appeared and expressed his concern over his daughter's dedication to school but Lily claimed she was being diligent about her studies. As Neil was leaving, he encountered Lauren, who slipped that hiring Lily was at Dru's request. Neil confronted his wife with this news but Dru's rationalization swayed him.

When Daniel delivered mail to his mom's office, he got annoyed when she tried to make nice with him. "I wish that I never found out that you and Nick Newman were sleeping together!" Daniel exclaimed. Oops. Victor was standing at the office door.

Brad and Phyllis had a friendly conversation about an info-tech company she'd worked for.... Nick refused to get Phyllis out of NVP for Sharon, explaining that that wouldn't make Sharon's problems go away. She disagreed: "You have a tumor, you cut it out!" Nick tried to reason with her, but Sharon couldn't understand why he wouldn't do this. "My parents are going to think something's up," he noted. "You and Phyllis are masters of deception; I'm sure you'll come up with a plausible story," she fired back. Later, Nick and Phyllis ended up taking the same elevator. Nick told her that Sharon wants her to quit. Phyllis refused, and was shocked that Nick would even consider it. She then paid Sharon a visit and informed her that she's not quitting.

At home, Lauren draped herself all over Michael, as he worked on the computer. The mood was ruined when Gloria banged on the door. "Gloria interruptus," Michael sighed. "She has the timing of a storm trooper." Gloria worried about what would happen at Jabot; she cringed when Lauren replied that the only person who needed to worry was whoever put the cleaning solvent in the moisturizer. Glo went on about how Jabot had to recall the product; Michael reminded her that someone died, and there could be a criminal investigation. Gloria began to panic, especially when Lauren labeled it murder. Later, Michael was puzzled when Lauren poured herself a glass of milk and began telling him about a documentary she'd watched about storks. Lauren informed her clueless hubby that she's pregnant. He was shocked, but thrilled by the news.

J.T. flipped through Brad's file, complete with very fancy gallery pictures. (Who knew Brad was a patron of glamour shots?) Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Colleen quizzed an uncomfortable Victoria about the woman whom J.T. had slept with. "You know, don't you?" Coll asked, not realizing just how much Vicky really did know. Victoria deflected the conversation by pointing out that J.T. seems happy now that he and Colleen have been spending a lot of time together. She then asked Colleen to be her maid of honor; Colleen happily accepted. Later, Brad and Victoria planned a honeymoon in Bora Bora. He was pleased that she wanted Colleen and Abby to be involved.

Kevin began packing up to move out of the loft. He revealed to J.T. that Mackenzie left town. J.T. wondered how Jack and Ashley felt about Kevin moving into the Abbotts, but Kev said that he wasn't asking the permission of people who treated his mom so badly. Colleen arrived to see J.T.; when he stepped out, she was left alone with Kevin. Kevin gleefully informed her of his moving plans. Colleen reminded him that he's not family. Later, J.T. caught her snooping through his things. He promised her that she wouldn't find anything incriminating... Kevin went to the Abbotts and found Gloria curled into a ball on the couch. She admitted that she's scared about what will happen regarding the tainted cream, and made her son promise that he'd keep her secret.

At the Newmans, Sharon and Nicholas saw Noah off to school. Nick begged Sharon to give him another chance, but she told him to "get Phyllis out of Newman Towers."

Victor offered Daniel a job as an intern at Newman. Daniel was interested until Vic explained that he'd be answering to Nick. The teen was also concerned about working in the same place as his mom, as well as Neil and Dru. After, he ran into Sharon, who realized that he knew about Nick and Phyllis's affair. Daniel apologized for his mother's actions. Sharon pointed out that it wasn't his fault and said that he shouldn't turn down a great opportunity — especially since he's now a married man.

Nikki and Phyllis talked about publicity for NVP. Nikki tried to figure out why Sharon had turned down the job of spokesperson. Phyllis shrugged it off. Instead, the ladies came up with their latest idea for the spas, which Nikki was thrilled with. Nick then arrived with news that he'd found them a new office. Nikki accused him of wanting to throw them out, but Phyllis — of course — was enthusiastic. Nikki and Victor couldn't understand why he hadn't spoken with them first. Later, when Sharon stopped by, Nikki asked her daughter-in-law what she thought of NVP moving. Nick cut in and revealed that he'd already made the plans. Victor reminded him that it's his company, and said that NVP isn't going anywhere. After, Victor and Nikki tried to determine why Nick and Sharon were acting so strangely. Sharon, meanwhile, told Nick that if he can't get NVP out of the Newman offices, then she wants Phyllis out of NVP.

Colleen told Lily about her and J.T.'s kiss. Later, Daniel informed Lily about his and Sharon's conversation, and how he'd decided to accept the job at Newman.

J.T. — sporting a shorter haircut — pondered Victor's assignment to do a background check on Brad. He then ran into Victoria at Crimson Lights; she thanked him for not taking the assignment that would have had them working together. Vicky wondered how he'd managed to get out of it; J.T. evaded the question (and didn't tell her about his new assignment), then defended Victor to her. They also talked about her upcoming wedding to Brad. When J.T. snarked that Victoria should ask Daniel and Lily about the place they used in Las Vegas, Vicky surprised him by mentioning that she knows of one, too (nicely referencing her own teen marriage to Ryan).

Michael and Kevin discussed how Emma Gibson had died from Jabot's moisturizer. Gloria joined them and urged them to talk about something a little more pleasant.... Ashley and Jack were shocked to see D.A. Will Bardwell searching though the Jabot lab, and were aghast to learn he was handling the case of the tainted cream. Jack immediately called Michael.... Kevin warned Gloria that she should be worried about the Jabot case, but she wouldn't hear it. Kevin believed that Michael had a right to know what she did. Gloria insisted that there is no evidence linking her to Emma's death. She then broke down, blaming Jack and Ashley for what happened. Kevin planned to move into the Abbott house so he could take care of her.... Jack met with Michael and filled him in on Bardwell becoming involved in the case. He then asked for Baldwin's help.... At the lab, Ashley assured Bardwell that she doesn't intend to hinder his investigation.

Sharon was livid when she saw Nicholas and Phyllis talking at the GCAC bar.... Jack offered to "cheer [Phyllis] up." She thanked him and called him a "wonderful man."... Nick again insisted that his affair with Phyllis is over and reminded Sharon that she hasn't always been faithful to him. Nick was surprised that Sharon turned down the offer to be NVP's spokesperson.... Later, Nick and Jack shared an awkward conversation as Jack (still unaware of Nick and Phyllis's affair) confided in him about his troubles with Phyllis. A clueless Jack advised Nick not to mess up the "special" thing he has with Sharon, and to fight for the marriage. Later, at home, Nick promised Sharon that he'd do whatever it takes to repair their marriage. Sharon told him to fire Phyllis. Nick explained that he can't since Phyl isn't a Newman employee. Sharon didn't care; she wanted Phyllis out. Nick had the audacity to call Sharon "unreasonable." She told him to leave, but Noah then arrived, thrilled to see his dad.

Lily and Daniel prepared a meal for their housewarming party, while Colleen visited. Lily gave her husband a job to do in regards to their food, while Colleen stressed over the mystery woman whom J.T. had slept with. Phyllis showed up and offered to help, but Daniel was cold toward her. After Phyl left, Lily encouraged Daniel to make up with his mom.... J.T. arrived at the party and noticed that he and Collen were the only guests. Not that he minded! The pair slow danced and then shared a kiss. After, klutzy J.T. dropped his files on Brad (which included a huge gallery shot of Carlton), but managed to pick them up before Colleen could see them.

Victor asked J.T. to investigate Brad.... Victoria asked Brad to tell her about his childhood, but he was reluctant to share. She explained that she wasn't being nosy; she just loves him and wants to know more about him. "There's nothing you could say that would change the way I feel about you," she told him, as his face clouded over.

Will Bardwell began an investigation of the Jabot moisturizer case. Ashley assured him that she doesn't have anything to hide, though Bardwell reminded her of her track record.

Phyllis confided in Victor that things are "not good" in her life. Victor, also unaware of the affair, was sympathetic to her, especially about Daniel. He offered to give Daniel a job at Newman. Later, Vic stared ominously at a photo of Brad.
