Phyllis, Nikki and Victor discussed NVP business. They also chatted about Sharon and Nicholas's reactions to Phyll being back there. Nikki wanted to send Phyllis on a business trip; Phyll was annoyed that they wanted to ship her off. Victor insisted that it wasn't about her; he just wanted to keep Nikki in town. After Phyllis left, Victor told Nikki he wants every day to be filled with romance for her and gave her two gifts. As a third gift, he gave her a toy jet to "replace the one [he] gave Neil." Victor explained that he wants to take Nikki anywhere she wants to go.

At the jail, Gloria and Jack spoke with the doctor about John's condition. The doc revealed that they can't be with John for the tests because he was placed in solitary confinement after getting into a fight. After, Jack told Kevin and Gloria that the warden said John started the fight. Gloria was devastated about John's apparent loss of his faculties. Jack was sincere when he noted that she really does love him. "He's still John Abbott and we have to protect him," stated Jack. Later, they got the test results back and learned that John didn't have Alzheimer's. The doctor suspected that John was given the wrong dosages of medication. At first, they were thrilled to hear that John will be okay, but they then realized that if he's well, he won't get an early release.

Nick told Victoria that he and Sharon are getting divorced. Vicky was sympathetic. Nick said he has a plan to win back his wife. Victoria thought he should just accept it and didn't think his attraction to Phyllis would be easy to ignore. Later, Victor informed Victoria that he recommended her for an art-related project. Victoria was thrilled and actually told her father, "You rock!"... Phyllis told Nick that she's being sent on the road to keep the Newman offices from "becoming a mini PEYTON PLACE." Nick confided in her about his Cassie dream and how Sharon still wants a divorce.

From New York, Sharon called Noah to see how his little league game went. Noah wished Sharon were there, and reported that Nick would be making dinner for them. Noah looked forward to when Sharon could rejoin them for dinners. Meanwhile, Brad's plane to Boston was diverted to New York. He was surprised to see Sharon at his hotel. She invited him to join her for her steak dinner. After, as they sat on her couch together, Brad leaned in and kissed her. The removal of clothing then began; Sharon stopped and looked into Brad's eyes. "Are you sure?" she whispered. He responded by kissing her again and crawling on top of her. Oh, yeah, he was sure!

Nikki assured Victor that with Phyllis helping her, she'll be fine at work. Nikki embraced Victor and told him she's never been happier being married to him. They hoped Nicholas and Sharon could repair their marriage.

Sharon believed that while she's on her business trip, Nick would be spending some "quality time" with Phyllis. He informed her that it was Victor's idea for Phyllis to return to NVP, and that he wouldn't go near Phyllis. "We're getting a divorce. It doesn't matter to me," Sharon replied.

Victoria gave Brad a romantic gift before he took off for his business trip. Afterward, Nikki and Victor wished him a good voyage. Vicky was surprised to hear that Phyllis was returning to NVP. However, when she questioned Nick about it, he assured her it would work out. She was touched when he said he hopes she and Brad are happy. Later, Sharon and Brad prepared to take off for their respective trips; he gave her a last-minute pep talk. Nick was annoyed with his parents for bringing Phyllis back into the fold. They promised him that they'd keep her away from him, however, he ran into her by the elevators.

Phyllis visited Lily and Daniel. She was psyched about their impending graduation and couldn't understand why Lily was so down. Daniel explained that Lily was upset about her parents fighting. They then told Phyllis about the Cassie benefit and how well it had gone. Phyllis said that she's proud of her son. Meanwhile, Neil and Dru were thrilled that Devon was going to be graduating with honors. Devon gave the credit to his foster folks. Devon was unhappy when he learned Dru was going to Europe on business. Later, Lily received a cap and gown from Dru. She thanked Daniel for convincing her to attend graduation and hoped it would mend the rift between her parents. Devon feared that once Dru goes to Europe, she won't return. Dru and Neil bonded as they shared their happiness over Devon's accomplishments. Lily learned that she failed Physics and won't be graduating.

Phyllis and Lauren ran into each other at the OB/GYN. Phyllis lied that she was there simply for an exam. Without mentioning her similar situation, Phyll questioned Lauren on how she felt about having a baby when she already has a grown son. When Lauren left for her exam, Phyllis discussed the situation with Michael. He told her that Lauren could keep her secret. Phyllis wished she could go to a deserted island to get away from her problems (um, there are a bunch of plane-crash survivors out there who might make you change your mind). Michael urged her to tell Jack and Nick about her situation. Lauren was amused and touched to learn that Michael has been reading baby books. Michael feared that he wouldn't do well as a father, but she believed he would. Lauren wondered if something is going on with Phyllis. Without really giving her an answer, he explained that he'd given Phyll some advice and hopes she takes it.

Sharon settled into her hotel room in New York City. Meanwhile, Brad's plane was diverted to New York. Uh-oh...

Neil informed Drucilla that Victor gave him the corporate jet. Victor told Nikki he hired back Phyllis. In the break room, Phyllis shared the good news with Daniel, who advised her not to show up at Cassie's benefit.

Brad and Sharon packed for their separate business trips. Brad comforted her (again) when she broke down about Cassie (again).

As everyone prepared for the benefit at Crimson Lights, Victor had a heart-to-heart with Nick. Sharon arrived with Brad. Soon, Christine, Paul, Jill and Katherine also arrived. Nikki thanked Katherine for her generous donation. Chris asked Paul about the case he's working on, but he wouldn't divulge any info. Colleen was nice to Victoria. Sierra recalled the time Cassie spilled a milkshake on her. Nikki was stunned Victor gave Neil the Newman jet. Daniel handed Nick Phyllis' donation. When Jewel arrived, Nick and Sharon took the stage and gave a public-service speech about what happened the night Cassie died. Jewel performed. Afterward, Lily and Devon worked on getting Dru and Neil back together; Daniel thanked Christine for helping him a year ago; the ubiquitous Carmen showed up (Katherine learned Victor hired her at Newman, too); Daniel gave a speech about the dangers of drunk driving (good boy!); and J.T. tried to call a truce with Brad, to no avail.

EOE (end of episode), Jewel performed again. When Nick reached for Sharon's hand, she broke away. Cut to Nikki and Victor, and, finally, Nick seeing Sharon outside looking at the portrait of Cassie.

Carmen brainstormed with Victor about his plans to sell Jabot products at NVP. Brad welcomed her aboard. Neil complained to Victor that he's feeling underappreciated. "Neil, you've always known this is a family-run business," Victor justified. Neil said he's going to start sending out his resume, but Victor reiterated that he didn't want him to leave. Carmen returned, so Vic introduced the two and asked Neil to show her around the building. Neil was charmed, but Dru wasn't so impressed by Ms. Mesta. Next up, Carmen met Nick.

Gloria and Jack consulted with John's doctor. They went to the prison to see John, but the warden wouldn't allow it because John has had his privileges suspended after he threw his breakfast tray at a guard.

Nick asked Sharon for another chance. Later, he walked in on Sharon and Brad again. "You follow Sharon around like a puppy dog," Nick barked. "You blew it," Brad retorted, groping Sharon. BUT IT WAS A FANTASY (Sharon's, of course).

Neil played one-on-one with Devon. Devon asked if Neil and Dru are getting a divorce. Back at Newman, Dru asked Sharon the same thing about her and Nick. Sharon revealed that Nick had an affair with Phyllis. "That bitch!" Dru screamed, adding, "Don't let that two-bit whore destroy your marriage."

EOE (end of episode), Victor gave Neil his private jet as a gesture of appreciation (!); Nick learned that Victor hired back Phyllis; and Victor asked Sharon if it's OK that Phyllis returns to NVP (even though it was already a done deal that Phyll was out). Sharon was LIVID and baffled by Victor's very strange behavior.
