Jill shared Gloria's idea with Ashley to create a more affordable line. Ashley shot it down. Enter Victor and Jack. Ashley took a picture of the new best friends. Ashley thanked Victor for hiring Jack, just as Nikki walked in; she wasn't amused. During the NVP meeting, Jack suggested that Jabot creates a new line of spa accessories. Again, Nikki was not amused.
A very worried Lauren and Michael went for the amnio. The doctor asked why Michael left off his father's information on the forms. When the doctor asked if they wanted to know the sex of the baby, Lauren said no. Hmmm....
Gloria gave Kevin advice about Jana and Colleen. Later, Kevin blew up at Colleen when she said Jana deserved to know the truth about his past. J.T. stormed in and broke it up, then told Fisher to take a hike. He went back to Crimson Lights, where he found Gloria. Mom asked him if she could see the books, then observed that Jana is very cute.
Phyllis tried to make nice with Neil. "Dru's to blame for everything that's happening in my family, not you," Neil expressed. Then he and Phyllis went to dinner. At the GCAC, Phyllis and Neil sat at the table next to Carmen and Jack, of course. Neil noticed Phyllis hadn't touched her champagne. Neil admitted he's come to see Daniel as a "very sincere young man." Aw.
Meanwhile, Victor went to the Abbott house to see Ashley. He asked her to report to Jack regarding NVP business, not him (to appease Nikki). Ashley later called him, and he was rude to her. Nikki was ... amused.
EOE, Phyllis called Michael and said she was spotting and heading to the doctor.

"Good morning, Jack!" chirped Gloria. "Right back atcha, Stepmommy," he shot back. Why the good moods? Glo had a "brilliant" idea for Jabot, while Jack was all set to begin work at Newman. After, Gloria met with Jill at the GCAC and pitched a Jabot discount line to be marketed under the name "JC." Jill was impressed. Gloria revealed that Jack's working for Newman. "Has the whole world gone whacko?" Jill wondered. Gloria was eager to get started immediately, but Jill wanted to run the idea by Ashley. Glo didn't really listen and approached Carmen with her idea.
Colleen called J.T. and begged him to let her use his computer so she could take care of an important matter. J.T. didn't want her to use it since he, well, has super-secret files about her dad saved on it. He rushed home to stop her; an annoyed Coll went to coffeehouse.
At Crimson Lights, Kevin flirted with the new waitress, Jana, and her nifty British accent. Michael looked on, proud of his little bro. "I about fell over when she agreed to go out with me," Kev admitted. "You're not repulsive," Michael offered. Soon, Colleen showed up and was served by Jana, who pronounced Coll one of her favorite customers. Collen warned Jana not to go out with Kevin since he once tried to kill Colleen and everything. Jana then gave Kev that old BRADY BUNCH standby excuse, "Something suddenly came up." Colleen gloated to him how she had to tell Jana the truth; Kevin told her to back off. "You're not playing God, you're playing the devil," he sniffed. Later, he told off Gloria for pretending the moisturizer debacle hadn't happened. Kevin filled her in on Colleen ruining his date with Jana. He was determined to get what he wants.
Phyllis called Michael and shared that her AFP results were negative. She wished him luck on Lauren's amnio.
Collen returned home, where she and J.T. continued their "laptop tango." They were interrupted by a call from Brad, who asked how J.T. had convinced Colleen to move in. Coll took the phone and told her father that moving in was her decision. After, J.T. sort of apologized, huffily reminding her that he doesn't like people touching his stuff.
Nikki told Victor that she and Phyllis would be working late. Victor told her this wasn't necessary. "It is unless you have a robot who can work for us," she replied. "I have a live, human being!" Vic happily shared. "Jack Abbott!" Nikki wasn't exactly thrilled with the news. Meanwhile, Jack was surprised to receive a large fruit basket from Vic at work. As he enjoyed an apple, Nikki paid him a visit and reamed him out. She worried about him working with Phyllis. Jack agreed to be professional and said that he's anxious to work with a start-up company. Nikki again asked him to leave. "I already opened the gift basket," he replied. "Let's just say that when The Mustache offered the carrot, I'd be a fool to turn it down."
At Newman, Sharon and Phyllis were actually civil to one another as they discussed business. Nicholas slumped behind them, looking as if he wanted to disappear. After, Sharon revealed that she and Phyll had reached a truce.... Victor informed Phyllis that he's hired Jack for NVP. "Are you serious?" she asked. Victor instructed her, Nikki and Jack to get along. Vic then asked Brad for a business report; Brad was unnerved when his dad-in-law gave him a friendly arm pat.... Sharon was pleased to see Jack.... Brad and Jack chatted about the good 'ol days when they'd tried to take over Newman.... Jack and Nick agreed that they'd be professional, despite Phyllis being in the office. Later, Jack called Carmen and asked her to celebrate with him.... Victor stopped by and seeing Abby's paper dolls on Jack's guest, boasted that he'd made them. Vic wished his new employee well and gave Jack a hearty thumbs-up. Phyll's eyes bugged out of her head as she witnessed the exchange. Once Victor left, Phyllis questioned Jack about the "lovefest" with Victor. "Things change," Jack shrugged. "Oh, come on, you think Victor is Darth Vader," she pressed. Ha! So does that make Jack Luke Skywalker? Actually, he'd make a better Han Solo. Anyway, Jack offered Phyllis a "fresh, new start." She accepted. "I hope with all of my heart that this works out," she told him.

Drucilla — wearing her best blood-red Alexis Carrington gear — kvelled as Devon appeared in his graduation robes, complete with Honors markings. Meanwhile, Lily tried to be happy for Daniel as he prepped for the ceremony.
At Newman, Victor taught little Noah how to Xerox his face. Seriously. Now all Noah has to do is hang a huge Xeroxed portrait of himself in the office and he can be just like Grandpa!
Neil and Nicholas plotted to take down Brad. "He needs to remember that he is an employee," stressed Nick. Soon, Nikki arrived and informed her son that Phyllis was starting full-time. Sure enough, Phyll was busy greeting a young woman who worked there. She then ran into Sharon, who was less than friendly. However, the ladies agreed to call a truce.... Victoria looked forward to Brad becoming a board member.... Nick told Victor that electing Brad to the board is a mistake. Vic responded with some nonsense about needing to have a "good personal collaboration" at the office. After, Sharon overheard Nick trying to block Brad from getting a seat. Sharon defended Carlton. Later, the board met to vote, where Victoria rallied for her man. It worked, and Brad was elected to the board. After the board meeting, Victor showed Abby how to make paper dolls.... Neil and Jack got the news about Brad and were surprised by Vic's decision.
Ashley hinted that Jack should take Victor up on his job offer, but wondered how Jack would react seeing Phyllis in the office. Jack revealed that he'll be seeing Phyll at Daniel's graduation. He wondered what his life with Phyllis would've been like had she not lost their child.
At the GCAC, the Winterses, Gina, Jack and Phyllis gathered to celebrate the graduates. Phyllis was pleased that Jack showed up. Jack said he wouldn't miss it for the world. Awww.... Neil promised to throw a party for Lily when she eventually graduates.
Things became awkward when Brad, Victoria, Nick and Sharon met up in the office. Brad urged Nick to be civil toward him. "Whatever" Nick sighed. Sharon tried to act cool when Vicky revealed that she and Brad had romantic plans.
Jack was intrigued when Noah reported that hangin' with Vic at the office had been "fun." Holding Abby's paper dolls in his hand, Jack recalled some of his many moments with "Ruthless" Victor Newman. A light bulb went off over Jack's head. He then called and accepted Vic's job, a smug smile playing on his lips.

Phyllis traded more barbs with Jack, who was with the ubiquitous Carmen again. Afterward, Phyl told Nikki she changed her mind and she's willing to go on business trips now. Then she dropped by Michael and Lauren's with take-out (Mediterranean). Lauren got upset when Phyllis asked when is she going to take her maternity leave. Lauren gave Michael the green light to tell her what's going on. Phyllis was incredibly compassionate, asking Michael to think of their kids together giving the teacher hell. But Phyllis panicked when she left and called her doctor regarding her tests results; thankfully, all was well.
Sharon interrupted a business meeting between Brad, Victoria and Nick. "Welcome home," Nick grumbled. Later, when they discussed the fact that Brad ended up in NY with Sharon, Nick tried to act unfazed. In the break room, Nick decided to ask BRAD what happened in New York. Brad was cagey (smart move). Back at the ranch, Sharon was colder to Nick than the ice on the Newman pond during winter.
J.T. helped Colleen move her stuff. When she left him alone, J.T. snooped around and swiped his personal computer disk. Victoria arrived and asked what he was doing there. He explained that he's helping Colleen (who was snotty to Victoria, btw).
Victor bumped into a waiter at the GCAC and helped him clean up the mess. Jack spotted this unusual scene, remembered the gash on VIctor's head at Brad and Victoria's wedding, and figured out that he's a changed man because of the trauma he suffered! Jack hightailed it over to Nikki's table; she revealed that Victor got no medical attention after the carjacking incident. Later, Jack consulted with John's doctor regarding Victor's possible condition.
Carmen told Jack she's yet to find a decent bagel in Genoa City.

In New York, Brad and Sharon enjoyed the afterglow of their night together, then bonded over breakfast. They agreed that their rendezvous wouldn't complicate things. Sharon revealed that she'd put Brad as her emergency contact when she'd visited the dentist. Brad was honored and promised that what happened in NY, stays in NY. Soon, they were interrupted by a call from Victoria, who asked what he's been up to. "Nothing much," he lied.... Sharon was touched when she received a beautiful bouquet of red roses from Nicholas... Victoria smiled as she read a very cute love letter from Brad, where among other things, he offered to give her complete control over the TV remote.
Back in Genoa City, Victoria and Nick thought about their significant — and not-so-significant — others. Nick wondered if putting Brad on the Newman board was such a good idea. Vicky was surprised that Nick was still angry with Brad and thought men were supposed to bond after having a fistfight. Later, Nick was frosty when Brad called asking for Victoria. Brad gleefully revealed that he and Sharon had had dinner together.
Gloria and Jack were happy that John had his visitation rights restored. However, when Glo went to jail, John had a busted-up eye. John explained the silly reason why he'd gotten into a fight. Gloria noted that his medication had been wrong. She believed that there had to be a way to get John out of jail. He assured her that he'd get through it. "Hell, I've already been in a prison brawl and lived to tell the tale," he joked. Glo happily shared that he's going to be a "stepgrandaddy" with the birth of Michael and Lauren's child.
Phyllis introduced Lily and Daniel to Carmen and bragged about Daniel graduating. When an embarrassed Lily stepped away, Daniel quietly told his mom that his wife isn't graduating because she failed physics. Carmen looked as if she wanted to hide under the table rather than be forced to be there for this humiliating moment. After, Ms. Mesta deftly changed the topic by asking Phyllis why she keeps going back and forth between Jabot and Newman. Phyllis tried to explain her tangled past with Jack. Jack then joined them, so Phyllis was forced to open up a bit more about it. She said that she still thinks Jack's a great guy. Jack was also rather diplomatic, at least in front of Carmen, but gave Nick a difficult time when he arrived. Phyll and Nick didn't believe Jack when he shared that Victor offered him a job at NVP. Nick then defended Phyllis when Jack insulted her. "I'm impressed that you'd protect your ex-mistress this way," Jack stated. "I'm sure Sharon would be, too." The men almost came to blows again, but Phyllis stopped them. Jack then asked out Carmen right in front of his ex. When Carmen accepted, Phyll pretended it didn't bother her.
Lily met up with Neil and squirmed as her dad told her how proud he is of her. "Daddy, I'm so sorry," she began as she told him her bad news. Neil took the blow surprisingly well; Lily promised him that she'd graduate, just a few months later. After, Daniel joined them to offer her support. Lily mentioned how upset Devon is about Drucilla going to Europe, and asked if Neil and Dru are splitting up. Neil didn't really have an answer for her.... Later, Daniel invited Jack to attend his graduation.... Lily urged her mom not to go to Europe. Unlike Neil, Dru flipped out when Lily shared that she's not graduating. However, she relented a bit when she saw how upset her daughter was over Dru and Neil's situation; Dru was confident that she and Neil would work things out.
Michael and Lauren got bad news from the OB/GYN regarding her baby; apparently, Lauren's AFP levels were high and there would be a risk for birth defects. Dr. Thompson wasn't as worried and believed the baby would be fine. After, Michael tried to comfort his tearful wife.... Gloria told Michael that she wants John to fake his symptoms so he can get a medical release. Mike didn't think John would go along with it and told her to be happy he didn't have Alzheimer's. Gloria was sympathetic when her son filled her in on the results of Lauren's amnio. She then also tried to comfort Lauren.
