Phyllis ordered up a storm for breakfast. Nick noticed that Phyllis' eyes were red. She admitted she was crying last night. Nick thought the kiss made her cry, but she finally admitted that she's pregnant. "I didn't expect this," Nick replied, and thanked her for telling him. Then she confessed that Jack could be the father. "You have no reason to explain. I have no right to judge you," Nick told her.

Victor hung up the phone when Nikki was on the phone with the doctor. But she got him to keep his appointment anyway. The tests found nothing, although the doctor believed something was up. But Victor refused to undergo any more tests. Nikki finally realized the head trauma Victor suffered from the carjacking could be causing his strange behavior.

Brad beefed up security at the Carlton compound. Victoria realized her birthstone necklace was taken, and questioned the efficiency of the new alarm system (as if she knows more about alarms than the company that installed it). Victoria wanted to hire Paul, to make sure this wasn't done by someone with a grudge against one of them. "I come from a prominent family. I'm not going to just brush this off," Vic vowed. Brad pooh-poohed the idea of hiring the PI. Then a cop (Thyme Lewis from DAYS OF OUR LIVES!) showed up and said they found Victoria's purse with her jewelry — including the birthstone necklace. Java Jana from Crimson Lights (who, as you will recall, also knew Kevin and Michael were half-brothers even though Kevin never told her...) found it. Later, Victoria took Jana to lunch as a thank-you.

Lily faked choking so she could get Colleen to bring her a glass of water at the GCAC, and proceeded to grill the waitress about what's going on with her. Colleen admitted she was upset about her father, not J.T., and that her father's real name isn't Brad Carlton! Lily and Colleen tried to come up with different theories about why Brad lied, then Lily said, "Why don't you just ask him?" Good question! Lily said she was so scared when she told Neil about Malcolm, but it only brought them closer. (Hey, wait, didn't Lily slip up and that's the only reason Neil found out?)

EOE (end of episode), Brad burned the photo of him on the baseball team; Nikki recalled all the strange things Victor has done lately; and Nick promised Phyllis they're in this together, "no matter what happens." Awwww.

Carmen thanked Neil again for sticking up for her with Brad. They she joined Jack for dinner — it was his birthday! Jack introduced Carmen to Paul (who was there meeting Ashley), so now the PR princess has met EVERY man in Genoa City. Ashley finally arrived and informed everyone that Victor was taken to the hospital. Jack feigned concern. Will was pleased to see Ashley, but bummed once he realized she was there on a date. Then sloppy-seconds Jill arrived to have dinner with Will. After Jack's party, Paul "dumped" Ashley.

Nick and Phyllis had to spend the night in Los Alamos. They worried about the hotel room situation, and decided it would be best to get two rooms. They stopped first at a Tex-Mex bar to eat, where she met AMERICAN IDOL's Josh Gracin (Jake). The cowboy serenaded her, but then Nick interrupted. Phyllis ate for two. When Nick mentioned cake, Phyllis remembered that it was Jack's birthday. Nick also remembered a milestone — he proposed to Sharon 11 years ago that day. Phyllis decided to do a line dance with a cute guy from the bar. But then she slow-danced — and made out! — with Nick.

Victor's doctor surmised that Victor could have passed out because he was dehydrated. Victor thanked Ashley for keeping Nikki company. "I can take it from here," Nikki sneered at Ashley. Back at the ranch, Nikki flipped when Victor canceled his appointment with the neurologist, so she called the doctor back and uncanceled it.

EOE (end of episode), Nikki begged Victor to keep the appointment and see the doctor, and Phyllis and Nick resisted having sex, returning to their hotel rooms separately.

Colleen obsessed over the photo of faux Brad (i.e., her father) and real Brad. Victoria called the cops when she came home with Abby to find the Carlton house ransacked. Then she called Brad, who rushed home. J.T. and Colleen showed up; bratty Colleen tried to make amends with Victoria.

Zapato licked Victor's neck as he lay unconscious on the floor. Back at Newman Enterprises, Ashley and Nikki continued to bicker over whether to market Jabot products at NVP. Nikki tried to reach Victor, and felt something was up when she couldn't. Sharon went up to the ranch and found Victor, who suddenly regained consciousness. Victor couldn't remember what happened. Sharon called Nikki, who told Sharon she was going to meet her at the hospital (Ashley went along). Unfortunately, Victor refused to go to the hospital. Nikki called and begged Victor to get to the hospital — STAT. Victor finally agreed...as long as Sharon took him. At the hospital, Victor insisted he was beat from exercising, but then he couldn't recall what exercise he did that day. As they waited for the doctor, Victor asked Ashley and Nikki if they're working out their issues. When Victor went in for a full body scan, Nikki told Ashley she didn't need to hang around, but Ashley insisted on staying.

En route to Santa Fe, Phyllis and Nick ended up on the Newman jet again. She filled him in on Jack owning NVP. Phyllis fell into his lap (how convenient) when the plane hit turbulence. "Nick!" Phyllis cried. "It's been a while since you yelled out my name with that much intensity," Nick cracked. Phyllis was frightened — and nauseated. Nick found it all very funny, even when the pilot decided to land the plane. They landed safely, and got separate rooms at the hotel this time. (Good idea, kids.)

EOE (end of episode), Brad recalled finding a dead body — and stealing the young man's identity.

Ashley, Jack, Gloria and Kevin ate breakfast together; lots of talking with their mouths full. Gloria pointed out that Kevin might one day have a say in how Jabot is run, unlike Jack. Tisk, tisk. At the office, Michael declared that Kevin's agreement was unacceptable; Jill and Kay were taken aback. Gloria showed up for moral support (Kevin was not happy to have his mother there). Michael contested that Phyllis was making twice as much, and demanded more money. Gloria butted in: Maybe they could give Kevin a raise in six months if they liked his work. Kevin said it's a deal.

Jack phoned Ashley and asked her to treat Nikki nicely at their meeting. Nikki overheard and was furious (and jealous). Victor later told Victoria that he sold his shares in NVP to Jack. At the office, Nikki, Jack and Ashley clashed over NVP business. Jill balked when she wasn't consulted first, but then sided with Ashley and Jack, much to Nikki's chagrin. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Victor collapsed when he took out his tools to play with them. Zapato was VERY upset.

Brad cut Neil out of the Granville Global daily operations; Carmen eavesdropped on their conversation. Neil warned that he's here to stay "and you can count on that." Brad tried to placate him, and then reprimanded Carmen for sharing information with Neil. Carmen defended herself, so Brad threatened to can her...well, ya know. Carmen and Neil went to the GCAC and ate ice cream to make themselves feel better.

Katherine questioned Jill's decision to hire Kevin. Jill tried to hide when her Internet date Will arrived. Will spotted her anyway and came over to say hello. He called Katherine ma'am. On his way out, Will ran into Ashley and asked her out to dinner, but she had other plans. So then he asked sloppy-seconds Jill to have dinner with him.

EOE, Brad asked Jack how he got Victor to sell him the NVP share; Victoria came home to find the Carlton house ransacked; and Victor lay lifeless on the floor of the ranch as Nikki and Ashley bickered at Newman.

Nick and Phyllis ended up on the Newman jet together, each going to business meetings (Phyll was filling in for Nikki, while Nick was pinch-hitting for Brad). Sharon was furious when she found out, so she vented to Brad, whom SHE just slept with on a business trip. She tried to practice her Beauty of Nature pitch, but couldn't concentrate. Brad stood up for Nick (huh?), and told her she was worried over nothing. Back on the plane, Phyllis dropped the bomb — she's pregnant. "This is awesome!" Nick rejoiced. But WAIT, it was all a fantasy. Then she told him Jack might be the father (again, part of the fantasy); Nick didn't seem too happy. In other words, the fantasy went south real fast.

Gloria helped Kevin get dressed for his interview at Jabot. Ashley tried to veto the idea of Kevin coming on board, but Jill supported Kevin. Kev later showed Jill his plans for the Web site. Ashley joined them, trying to rain on his parade even though Jill was impressed. Then Kevin gave a speech about how hard it is to start from nothing, and that he wants a chance. Kevin met Gloria at the GCAC to fill her in on the interview and let her know how, um....unresponsive...Ashley was. Later, Jill went to the Abbott house and offered Kevin the job. He accepted!

Jack asked Carmen to help him celebrate his NVP acquisition. Later, he offered Sharon the spokeswoman job at NVP, which she accepted (f you can't beat 'em...). Then he went to see Victor, who couldn't understand why Nikki was so furious about the sale of NVP to Jack.

Earlier, Victor let Nikki know that he sold his stake in NVP to Jack. She went berserk, then rushed off to give Jack a piece of her mind. Later, she apologized to Victor for her outburst. Victor asked her to celebrate with him at the club, but she felt there was absolutely NOTHING to celebrate. Victor went to the club, alone. Jack spotted Vic at the bar and asked him to join him, Ashley and Carmen.

EOE (end of episode), Nikki called Phyllis to tell her that Jack took over NVP, then showed up the GCAC only to find Victor with Jack and the gang toasting the NVP deal...in slow motion.
