Jack was ready to celebrate Gloria's ousting from the Abbotts. Ashley was still suspicious about the will. After, Jack was visited by John's ghost. "This is not happening," a confused Jack said. He and Ghost Dad agreed that they miss each other. John shared that being dead is "different than what you see in the movies." After, he scolded Jack for his treatment of Gloria. Jack then told a shocked Ashley about his encounter. She reasoned that he saw their dad because Jack's conscience is bothering him. Jack denied this, saying that John just felt like visiting him. However, when Ash stepped away, Ghost Dad returned and urged Jack to tell the judge the truth: that he'd coerced John into writing the new will when John wasn't of sound mind and body. Jack argued that Gloria is untrustworthy; John pointed out that Jack is being dishonest himself. "Is that the kind of man you are?" he questioned. Jack insisted that this wasn't about money, that it was because Gloria took John away from them.
Michael, meanwhile, told Gloria that they still could have a shot at winning. Glo was anxious to move out; Lauren assured her that she's not in the way. The group soon got dressed for court. Kevin wasn't sure Gloria should go, but she was determined to let the Abbotts know that they can't get to her. She even put on a particular pin that John gave her. Later, at court — with Ghost Dad looking on — the judge prepared to announce her verdict. She noted that John definitely seemed to trust Gloria and that she had to investigate why John had decided to change his will. The judge then stated that the new will is valid. Gloria was, of course, hysterical. "Justice was served," stated Jack. "How do you get to be so heartless?" she railed. "Please let us know where we can send the rest of your things," he calmly replied. Ouch! Gloria continued to yell about how John loved her until her sons led her out of the courtroom.... Ashley thought the judge was a little hard on Glo and still wasn't entirely convinced John had written that will.... Gloria wondered if she'd gotten what she deserves. Michael encouraged her to stay strong and promised that things will get better.
Noah critiqued Sharon's French toast-making skills. She told him to eat his food and quit whining. "If I get sick and go to the hospital, it'll be your fault," he snapped. Sharon then asked her son if he likes Phyllis; Noah said that he likes Phyll because she likes to do "fun stuff." He then dropped the bomb — that Phyllis and Nick are intending to get hitched. Soon, Nick arrived to pick up Noah. As Noah went to get his things, Sharon reamed him out for telling Noah about his and Phyllis's plans before he told her. Nick promised to talk to their son about it. Sharon accused him of getting pleasure out of hurting her. Nick tried to explain that he and Phyllis had simply answered Noah's questions about their relationship honestly. Sharon just went on about how Nick was trying to replace his family. When Noah returned, he and Nick left. Sharon turned away so they wouldn't see her crying. Later, she called Brad. Dru then came by and Sharon filled her in on Nick and Phyll. Drur uged her not to let her relationships with men be he validation... Nick urged Noah to be "extra-nice" to his mom.... When the guys came home, Dru stood up for her friend and mocked Nick and Phyllis's plans.
Jack went to the GCAC to enjoy a celebratory drink. When he spied Sharon there, he invited her to join him. She readily accepted.

As Jack and Ashley discussed John's new will, they were interrupted by a call. Jack asked the caller to share "those results" with Ash. Meanwhile, Michael, Lauren and Kevin discussed Jack and Ashley cutting Gloria out of the will. Michael received a call. He reported to his wife and bro that the revised will is legit. Gloria came in and wanted to know what the handwriting expert said. After hearing the bad news, Glo asked how John could do this. The family assured her that John loved her.
At the hearing regarding the will, Michael presented a load of documents to prove the validity of the Abbott marriage and John's mental decline at the time he signed the new will. Ashley testified that Gloria is a golddigger. Jack also got in his licks. Gloria took the stand and delivered an emotional, but dignified, testimony about her loving relationship with John. When Michael asked if his mom had more to say, she defiantly blasted her stepchildren. The judge announced that she would give her ruling tomorrow. When the judge left, Michael, Kevin and Lauren confronted the Abbots over their treatment of Gloria. Glo added that John was watching and ashamed of them. They looked sufficiently uncomfortable.
Sharon was displeased to find Noah with Phyllis and Nick at the ranch. Nick reported that they were going to take Noah to the lake and tell him about their baby. Sharon was upset, but covered in front of Noah. When the trio were at their picnic, Nick broke the news to Noah that he and Phyllis are having a baby girl. He took it okay. Meanwhile at the GCAC, Victor consoled Sharon over the state of her marriage. He urged her to vent by boxing and gave her a demonstration. Unfortunately, he went at the punching bag like a total crazy person, which thoroughly freaked out his daughter-in-law. She questioned him and Victor became confused. Back at the lake, Nick had another piece of news for his son: He and Phyllis are getting hitched.

At the GCAC, Carmen and Neil ran into each other. Soon Jack, her actual date, arrived and Neil left. Jack tried to get personal by asking what she wants out of life, but Carmen wouldn't say. "We just have to wait and see," she hinted, as we cut to Neil sitting by himself. They ended their evening with a chaste kiss on the cheek. Jack spied a cellphone on the table; Carmen smiled as she realized it was Neil's and she'd have an excuse to see him.
A nervous Lily and Daniel enjoyed a "first date" together. Lily asked where he was taking her, but he wanted it to be a surprise. He ended up taking her on a romantic picnic by the water. There, they went skinny dipping, then had sex.
Noah whined to Nick and Phyllis about how he doesn't want to go back to school and write an essay for class. Phyll understood, but noted that going to school is better than going to work. Noah again lamented his folks splitting up. The pair tried to cheer up the kid by coming up with good ideas for his project. Phyllis and Nick then took Noah to the GCAC.
Meanwhile, Sharon thought back to when she and Nick agreed to divorce. She snapped out of it when Dru panicked about the strange man lurking outside the home. Sharon explained that it was a security guard that Victor had hired. She then confessed that she'd been kidnapped, but implored Dru to keep quiet for Noah's sake. Dru was sympathetic. Sharon next admitted that she'd slept with Brad and that she misses him. "My marriage is falling apart, my son hates my guts, Brad's not talking to me," Sharon sighed. She wondered if Dru thinks she's a horrible person; Dru filled her in on how Malcolm is Lily's father. Both blamed Phyllis for their problems and doubted that Phyll would stay with Nick. Dru called Carmen Phyllis's clone. She then got a call from Lily and learned that Neil was dining at the GCAC. Dru concluded that Neil was with Carmen. Turns out Neil was playing baskeball outside with Los Angeles Laker Luke Walton. Later, the ladies went to the GCAC, while Carmen delivered Neil's phone to him. Dru and Sharon spied them together and mistakingly assumed that they'd been on a date.... Sharon went to get a drink and ran into Jack at the bar. He invited her to join him for a drink. Things got awkward when Sharon spied Nick, Phyllis and Noah. After, Nick proposed that he and Phyllis tell Noah about the baby before Sharon does.... Dru watched from afar as Neil and Carmen flirted while playing basketball.

Gloria shrieked and pounded on the door to the Abbot manse, pleading with Jack to let her in. No dice. She was outta there. Kevin soon came home and joined in the yelling; an amused Jack and Ashley told them to scram. After, they relished the peace and quiet.
Meanwhile, Jill and Esther returned home from the cemetery, squabbling over how quickly Esther had been driving. Jill, Kay and Billy discussed John's new will. Jill was surprised that John would leave Gloria out. Jack argued with Kay over the situation.
Michael was also concerned about it, fearing that things would get "ugly." Lauren urged him to forget about his family's problems when he's with her. Speaking of the fam, a sad Gloria and Kevin soon arrived on their doorstep, asking if they could move in. Glo was determined to learn the truth about where the will had come from. Lauren graciously welcomed them and told Michael that she can handle having guests for a while.
Daniel left a very cute, awkward message for Lily. Cue the flashbacks of the couple sharing happier times. Lily met him at the coffeehouse, where he presented her with old items from their relationship — such as a note — that he'd saved. Lily was touched and introduced Daniel to Billy as her husband. The teens gave Billy their condolences regarding John.... Jana flirted with Billy as they shared an interest in extreme sports. And she introduced herself as Jana Hawkes. So we've got a last name for our mysterious girl!... Kevin implored Billy to do something about his family's treatment of Kevin and Gloria, but Billy wanted to stay out of it.... Jana insisted that Kevin take her someplace fun so he could clear his head.... Jill invited Billy to join Jabot.
Ash was angry with her brother for being so rude to Kay and was concerned that they could be fighting in court for years.... Kay was horrified that John's kids are already arguing over his money.... Jack remained cryptic as he told Ashley that he knows how to make his own "luck."

Nicholas jokingly offered to get a pregnant Phyllis a certain (and unusual) type of ice cream she might be craving. He then suggested they move in together. Phyllis responded by kissing him. "I'll take that as a yes," he laughed.
Noah came up from behind Sharon, causing her to freak out. She then got her finger stuck in one of those colorful, paper, tube-like toys and began shrieking at her son. Victor came by and helped her; Noah was stunned to see his mom acting so irrationally. Vic had a talk with the little boy about how Sharon might act up when she's stressed out, but it doesn't mean that she doesn't love him. Noah argued that she's been yelling at him all the time. Nick soon arrived and Noah eagerly prepared to leave with his father. When Noah stepped out, Victor suggested the three of them discuss what happened to Sharon during the kidnapping. She refused to talk about it, then snapped at the guys. Vic pressed on and she did share that her kidnappers didn't harm her in any sexual way. She informed him that she was tied up and was so freaked out about it, she couldn't even stand to wear a bracelet. Victor promised to protect her and Noah.... Nick took Noah to play basketball. Noah went and tattled about how Sharon kept losing her temper. Nick told him to stop badmouthing his mom. Noah didn't listen and said he hates living with her. Phyllis joined them and tried to bond with Noah. She was touched when he called her a "cool mom," but Nick was alarmed when he began talking badly again about Sharon. Nick thought he should have Noah stay with him for a while. Sharon agreed to the arrangement — but said Noah could only stay over for the night. Later, Victor sliced cheese and apples for Sharon and encouraged her to see a therapist. As she made the call, Vic went a little crazy on the food and began slicing like a mad man.
Gloria, Michael and Kevin prepared to go to court. Michael uged his mom to not make a speech and suggested she just sell her stock and move to a tropical island, rather than continue to fight with the Abbotts. She refused. Meanwhile, Jack and Ashley lamented the Gloria situation. Ash was surprised that he hadn't shown Michael John's new will. Jack flashed back to when he'd told John not to show the will to anyone. After, at the court, Glo tried to call a truce with the Abbotts, but Christine informed them that John had put together a second handwritten will. The prison chaplain soon arrived and Michael questioned him about when John had given him the will. Mike was concerned that no one had seen John putting together the document. Jack again flashed back to when he'd convinced a delusional John to write another will where Gloria was left nothing and Jack was appointed the sole executor. The judge prepared to have the will examined. Ash wondered if Jack was behind the switch, but he wouldn't give her a direct answer. Later, Gloria went home and learned she'd been kicked out of the Abbott home — and her stuff had been thrown into garbage bags. Ouch!
