Y&R Recaps Week of January 22, 2007Friday, January 26, 2007 J.T. got drunk at Indigo and started to cruise everyone, while Colleen made love to Korbel at his apartment. Korbel to Colleen in bed: "You are burning an image in my mind." After Colleen left, Korbel went to Crimson Lights, where he ran into Daniel. Gloria helped Jill with a report she had do. Enter Ji Min, who wanted new figures added to the report. Gloria offered to do it. Jill met Will at Indigo. Jana reported back to an annoyed Gloria, who was stuck at the office finishing Jill's work. (Jana also stuck her nose into J.T.'s business, warning that Korbel could be capable of murder — specifically, Carmen's.) Gloria retaliated by asking Mr. Kim to join her at Indigo. Daniel and Lily got all lovey-dovey since Devon wasn't home. Colleen showed up, interrupting their evening. "Did you sleep with the professor again?" Daniel asked, mortified. "That guy's trouble." Colleen called Victoria to tell her she's spending the night out; Victoria didn't let on that she was at the bar with J.T. Ultimately, Colleen decided not to spend the night with Lily and Daniel.
End of episode, Colleen went back to Korbel's apartment, Maggie tracked Paul's cell phone — and Sheila warned that she's never giving up.
Thursday, January 25, 2007 Sheila to Paul: "You'll never be able to live with yourself if I die here." Paul: "Don't bet on it." Colleen sorted slides with Korbel, who talked about his travels and how many languages he knows. Eventually, the conversation turned to J.T. Speak of the devil...At Indigo, J.T. figured out that something was up with Brad and he told Victoria he'd be there for her (aw). Eventually, the conversation turned to Colleen. Back at Korbel's, the student and the professor ate Thai and then started to make out — and make love! Victoria and Rebecca wondered why Brad hasn't called. That's because he was being held at gunpoint with Victor in Geneva. Brad broke free and got hold of a gun. But one of the goons still had a gun on Victor, who explained they're there to find the Grudgeon Reliquary. "These people won't hesitate to kill you like they killed my family," Brad warned one of the men, who left promising, "I'll be back." End of episode, Victoria and a tipsy J.T. danced at Indigo (but she wouldn't go home with him); the bad guy returned with the reliquary, untied Victor and ordered everyone to put their guns away; and Lauren argued that they should leave Sheila for dead. "Let the bitch die," Lauren seethed.
Wednesday, January 24, 2007 Earlier, Phyllis and Nick went to Indigo with Michael and Lauren. Michael was distracted by the memory of Sheila stabbing herself. Phyllis told Lauren about the baby outfit she bought Summer. The foursome tried to talk without mentioning their infants, but it proved to be impossible. Daniel and Lily and Cane and Amber were also on a double date. Amber filled Daniel and Lily in on Violet. When Lily and Cane walked away from the table, Amber asked Daniel what he thinks of Cane. Daniel thought he was cool. A lonely Jack called Ashley in Hong Kong to check in on her. Next, Jack called Phyllis and told her he needed help with a project. "I really can't. we're not all work-at-home-aholics," she apologized. Jack spoke to Ji Min, asked a favor, and then called Phyllis back and said Ji Min wanted something on his desk by tomorrow or else they will be sued. Phyllis reluctantly agreed to meet him at the office. In Geneva, Switzerland, the art thieves held Victor and Brad at gunpoint. They were fit to be tied (literally). Enter a third man, who interrogated Victor and Brad. Drucilla arrived at Indigo and had a meltdown while telling Neil all about her bad day of slashed tires and crank calls. Neil (a recovering alcoholic, remember) gave her a drink to take the edge off things. "It's more than the tires, it's more than the crank calls," Dru cried. "I saw her! Carmen!" "There's got to be a logical explanation to this," Neil responded. End of episode, Cane kissed Amber; Nick checked in on Phyllis at the office and tried to seduce her (Jack sulked when he spotted them); and Michael decided to tell Lauren the truth — Sheila is alive!
Tuesday, January 23, 2007 Victor and Brad — using fake names, Martin and Robert, respectively — met with some art dealers in Geneva, but the first guy they met with blew them off. The second dealer, a woman, also didn't bite. "So much for the best laid plans," Brad remarked. Enter the next two guys, who claimed they'd received a tip that someone was trying to sell stolen art work. They said they worked for Interpol and asked to see Martin's and Robert's passports. A few moments later, one of the goons pulled a gun on them. "You do not know who you're dealing with," warned Victor. Amber, Lily and Daniel went to Indigo. Amber drooled all over Cane at the bar, when she wasn't fishing about how far he's gotten in his quest to find his mother. Amber put her foot in her mouth when she brought up the topic of murder in front of Lily. Then they talked about Australia and Cane's adventures there (his uncle runs a jewel mine, he scuba dived at the Great Barrier Reef, he spent a night in the Outback). Cane played down the exploits, but the Genoa City crowd was impressed. Paul went to his apartment and found Maggie sitting in the hallway, waiting him out. He invited her in, but continued to hide the truth when she asked why he looked so beaten down. They ate, drank beer, talked about work — and then had sex! Back at the cell, Sheila stuck her fingers in her wound and screamed for help. In Geneva, the bad guys tied up Victor and Brad.
Monday, January 22, 2007 Dru got another crank call at Crimson Lights. Jana eavesdropped on her and Sharon's conversation. Enter David Chow. Jana brought him coffee and inquired about Carmen. When David started to badmouth Dru to Jana, Dru jumped up and blew up. Will witnessed the whole thing. Lily and Devon discussed the David Chow situation. Dru returned to Crimson Lights to get her gloves, which she left behind. David let her check his jacket pockets for his cell phone. No phone. But she still didn't believe that he didn't crank call her. In the parking lot, Dru got another call — and then saw Carmen! Will got the authorization to exhume Phillip's body. "I was nothing but a stupid, selfish drunk," bemoaned Katherine. Amber listened in on their conversation. Katherine tried to comfort Jill, assuring her that no matter what they learn, "He will always be our Phillip." Amber IM-ed Daniel when she wasn't dishing with Jana or trying to hit the jackpot by locating Jill's real son. She Googled Phillip and learned that he was born in December 1976 and then died in a drunk driving accident. Amber called Cane, who came over to Crimson Lights. End of episode, Dru freaked about the Carmen "sighting"; former lovers J.T. and Victoria discussed Colleen; Will informed Jill and Katherine that the exhumation took place; and Cane told Amber that he was born in December 1976!
