Y&R Recaps Week of February 5, 2007

Lauren held Sheila and Phyllis at gunpoint, not knowing who was who. When Phyllis told Lauren to point the gun at her, not the babies, Lauren finally realized who was who and blew Sheila away. Before she took her last breath, Sheila warned Lauren, "You'll never be rid of me." The police arrived with Nick and Victor and they slapped cuffs on Phyllis for a second. Then Michael and Paul showed up. "I had to do it," Lauren explained to everyone. Will agreed not to charge Lauren with anything. Nick called Nikki and told her everyone was safe. When Phyllis got home, she had flashbacks of the whole ordeal. Victoria and Brad stopped by to offer their support. They told Victor about the bug in Brad's living room. Sharon shared with Phyllis that Jack was concerned about her. Paul went to visit Maggie at the hospital. "I hate that you were put in the position of being shot," he apologized. Then he asked a favor: He didn't tell the detectives the real story, so could she leave Lauren and Michael out of it when she's questioned? Kevin was happy that Lauren was home safe, but he still couldn't find Jana.

Brad called Colleen at Korbel's and informed her that the living room was bugged. Colleen ran home and was furious when Brad pointed the finger at Korbel. "Did you ever stop to think that Adrian could help us?" Colleen argued. Later, Daniel and Lily also warned Colleen about Korbel, especially since the last student he was involved with committed suicide.

Amber finally heard about her former cohort Sheila and the kidnappings. She immediately sent a text to Daniel, telling him she hoped everything works out. When Cane arrived, Amber shared that she once knew Sheila. Korbel showed up and got grilled by illegal immigrant Cane about green card issues. Korbel answered Cane and Amber's questions, but didn't reveal much about himself.

End of episode, Amber went home with Cane because she was afraid Sheila might come after her; someone e-mailed Kevin about finding Jana's coat; Victor arrived to help Brad with the anagram; and the mystery man who bugged Brad's house called Korbel!

Sheila taunted Paul via the walkie-talkie, while Daniel hunted down leads (and dead ends) on the Internet with Nick and the rest of the family. Victor got a call at the tack house from someone claiming to know where Sheila was. Unfortunately, it was all a hoax.

Bardwell dropped by Michael's to report that Maggie pulled through surgery just fine. He also shared that he got the judge to postpone Devon's case indefinitely. Michael thanked him. Kevin asked Will if he could do anything to find Jana. He couldn't, but he did find time to comfort Gloria. Paul gave Lauren a gun to protect herself.

Phyllis to Sheila, who was holding Summer: "You're going to regret this." When Sheila left, she let Phyllis hold her daughter. Sheila contacted Paul again on the walkie-talkie and this time talked to Michael. He wanted to cut a deal with her. She went on and on about "Scotty" (which is what she's now calling Fen) and how she needed to change his diaper. Nick called Lauren and tried to console her, but he couldn't. Back at the retirement home, Sheila took a picture with her cell phone of Phyllis and Summer. Then she sent it to Nick. Victor figured out where they were from the picture's background.

Nikki returned Noah to Sharon, who was furious with Nikki for taking him out of town in the first place. "I think you're being a bit selfish," Nikki snapped. When Nikki left, Sharon and Jack rehashed the whole Nick/Phyllis affair again. Jack didn't blame Phyllis for anything. Noah ran downstairs screaming after seeing on the Internet that Summer was kidnapped. "Summer is going to die just like Cassie," the kid cried. Sharon called Nick, but Nikki answered the phone and said he couldn't come to the phone because Sheila had just sent the picture. Sharon wanted to bring Noah there.

End of episode, Nick told Lauren that Phyllis was at the retirement home (while Michael and Paul were on a wild goose chase), so she hightailed it over there. By the time she arrived, Phyllis was free and making a grab for Sheila's gun. They were both on the floor grabbing for the weapon when Lauren knocked the door in, drew her own gun and...BANG!

Ji Min chatted up Jill at Crimson Lights. She explained how she was married to John Abbott — twice. She also explained how she became president of Jabot. Then he asked her if she had a child other than Billy, and she told him about Phillip.

Colleen continued to tell Brad and Victoria she "solved" the reliquary word puzzle. That meant she had to miss class, which irked Korbel. Brad wondered how Colleen was able to solve the Biblical Latin anagram ("What is truth?") so quickly, especially considering she'd never studied Latin. She caved and admitted Korbel figured it out. Brad scolded her for not staying away from her professor, unaware that their house was bugged. Finally, Colleen showed up on campus, much to Amber's chagrin. Amber left Adrian and Colleen to meet Cane at Indigo. Jill showed up with Ji Min, and got upset when Amber mentioned Katherine. Jill broke off the talk, and Cane told Amber he was having immigration problems. At Korbel's apartment (they left campus because there was "no privacy" there), Colleen tried to explain to Korbel what's going on with her father and why he's so worried about her safety. Then they kissed.

Sharon ordered Nikki to bring Noah back to Genoa City. Then she joined Jill and Ji Min and filled them in on what's going on with Sheila and Phyllis. Ji Min asked Sharon to do some modeling work for Jabot (she agreed, but had to check that she didn't have an exclusivity clause with Jack and N.V.P.). Sharon later met up with Brad and filled him in as well on the Sheila saga. "They'll find them," Sharon assured.

End of episode, Amber called an immigration lawyer for Cane (who she wants to marry!); Korbel and Colleen made love; and Brad discovered the bug behind his desk.

Michael, Lauren, Gloria and Kevin were frantic with worry about Fen's kidnapping. At the Newman compound, Victor was there for Nick (Nikki took Noah to a museum in Chicago, so he wouldn't see the news coverage of the kidnappings). Daniel showed up with Lily; Nick informed them that Sheila had plastic surgery to make herself look like Phyllis. Next, Jack showed up, and then the news camera crew. Nick went on the air to make his plea to find his wife and child. He told the story about how Phyllis gave birth in the elevator with the help of Jack, who was moved that Nick mentioned him. Next, Daniel made his on-air plea. At the retirement home, Phyllis was touched watching her family, while Sheila complained of "sugar shock." After being annoyed by Summer's crying, Sheila untied Phyllis so she could shush her child.

Dru was convinced someone moved her vase. Neil told her to relax. Dru asked Neil, Lily and Daniel about it, but none of them touched it. When she noticed that her basket was also in the wrong place, she freaked out while Sharon tried to calm her down (does this mean she's officially a basket case?). Dru was convinced that someone had been in the apartment and was deliberately messing with her head. Neil left to offer the Newmans his support. Meanwhile, Jack went over to the Winters' apartment and kept Sharon and Dru company.

Sheila ordered in groceries for her and Phyllis. Paul contacted Sheila via his walkie-talkie. Sheila was shocked to learn that Maggie pulled through surgery. Paul called Michael and reported that he spoke with Sheila. Michael didn't tell anyone, except Lauren. Sheila continued to gripe to Phyllis: "Your kid's a whiner. I'm not surprised."

End of episode, Sharon went to the ranch and gave Nick a hug; Dru told Jack she got a postcard from her aunt Mamie, who was on a beach in Barbados; Sheila brought out twin outfits for her and Phyllis, and Lauren got on the phone with the nutcase.

Nick broke it to Michael that Phyllis and the kids were kidnapped. Sheila dressed up as an old woman and took Phyllis to a retirement home, where Sheila shared bits and pieces of her cell nightmare with Paul and Michael. Michael called Gloria and Kevin and told them what was going on. Nick called Victor. Back at the cage, the ambulance arrived for Maggie. Paul and Michael lied to the police, but kept getting tripped up during the questioning. An Amber Alert was posted for Phyllis and the kids. (Not to be confused with Amber Moore, who was nowhere in sight).

The Winters prepared for Devon's day in court. Dru threw on a fabulous hat. Lily gave Devon a good-luck charm. Sharon lightened up on David. "For everyone's sake, I do hope Carmen's killer is found," Sharon told him. Soon afterwards, Sharon, Dru and Neil ran into David in the hallway. At the courthouse, Dru, Neil and Devon wondered where their lawyer, Michael, was. Enter Maria Mesta, Carmen's mother. David introduced her to the family. Maria wasn't too pleased to meet Dru. "You are the one person Carmen did not speak highly of," Maria remarked. Then someone came out and said the trial was postponed indefinitely. Neil called Michael and asked where he was. Michael broke down and couldn't speak to him, so Paul took the phone and explained what happened. Meanwhile, Dru saw Carmen's "ghost" again.

Kevin and Gloria were worried about Jana, who was still missing. Kevin talked to Daniel and revealed he thought she took off because he told her he tried to kill Colleen. Daniel tried to be positive.

Jack got wired up and went undercover to nail Senator Bodi. Mission accomplished. Later, Jack turned on the TV and saw that Phyllis and Fen had been kidnapped. Jack called Nick to ask what was going on. Nick couldn't talk, and Jack was visibly worried.

End of episode, Dru insisted Carmen is alive, the police found Phyllis' car at the airport, Paul checked on Maggie's surgery, Lauren had a meltdown and Sheila tormented Phyllis.
