Y&R Recaps Week of February 26, 2007

At Crimson Lights, Katherine called an ambulance for Kevin after J.T. punched him. J.T. explained that he did it because he saw Kevin dragging Carmen's body on the videotape. Michael tearfully informed him that Colleen confirmed that Jana murdered Carmen and stuck her and Kevin in the freezer. The paramedics soon came and Kevin was taken to the hospital.

At the boutique, Lauren and Gloria tried to come up with more clues about Jana. Glo wondered how much of what Jana had told them was true. Lauren regretted letting Jana babysit Fen. Glo stated that if she ever sees Jana again, she'll kill her. Michael then called her with the bad news about Kevin.

At the hospital, Colleen asked for Adrian and then surprisingly, Kevin. She explained that Jana tricked him into coming with her; Coll then stated that Kevin saved her life. Will and Maggie came to question her. Colleen recalled how Jana was searching for a certain piece of art, but couldn't remember which one — except it was from a particular century. She then told them that Jana confessed to killing Carmen. Colleen again reported how Kevin saved her life. She finally acknowledged how Kevin has changed. Brad informed her that their family's reliquary-related drama is finally over.

After hearing about Kevin, Maggie headed over to the coffeehouse. Michael went to attack J.T., but Maggie stopped him. J.T. admitted that he made a mistake, but didn't sound too sorry about it.

Amber filled in Adrian on J.T. and Kevin's fight. She then informed him about marrying Cane. Jill and Katherine praised the way Cane had prevented the fight from getting even more out of hand. Amber interrupted them, explaining that they had to leave for Australia. Kay implored Jill to finally tell Cane that she's his mother. Jill bit the bullet and told him before he took off for Australia. Cane didn't believe it, at first, but was soon hugging her. He realized that he's a citizen and wanted to annul his marriage to Amber.

In the hospital waiting room, Michael informed Gloria, Lauren and Brad that J.T. attacked Kevin. "You happy now?" Gloria snarled at Brad. The doctor came out and reported that Kevin is awake.... Adrian came to see Colleen, but Brad turned him away.... J.T. later came to the hospital and approached Victoria to see how Colleen was. Victoria assured him that she understood what drove him to attack Kevin.... Traci took Kevin to see Colleen. She was sorry for all the grief Brad and especially J.T. gave him and thanked him for saving her life.... Michael blamed himself for Kevin's condition. Lauren told him it's not his fault.... Brad thanked Kevin for saving Colleen, but Kev wouldn't accept the sentiment.... Later, Adrian sat with Colleen. He felt it was his fault that she'd been placed in danger. Traci was horrified when Brad told her that Colleen's been seeing her professor.... Michael warned J.T. that Kevin will be pressing charges against him. Soon after, J.T. was arrested.... Jana called Kevin and apologized. He warned her that he's going to find her and kill her.

David told Carmen's look-alike that it turns out Drucilla didn't kill Carmen. "Carmen" didn't care and thought Dru still deserved to be locked up for everything she did to Mesta. David urged "Carmen" to leave town.

In the psych ward, Dru freaked out, fearing that she'd be stuck there. Neil told her to calm down and promised to find "Carmen." This didn't make Dru feel much better. Their meeting was cut short when a doctor told them that visiting hours are over. Later, Neil and Devon worked on cracking the Carmen mystery. They put up flyers and got a call from someone saying they'd seen her. They followed their lead and stumbled across David speaking to the look-alike. Busted!

Amber told Lauren about her quickie wedding to Cane. Lauren was surprised but happy for her friend. Amber believed Cane had a "bright future" ahead of him. After, Daniel stopped by the boutique and Amber showed him her wedding pictures from Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, Katherine wondered when Jill is going to tell Cane that she's his mother. Jill complained that having Amber as a daughter-in-law made her head hurt. Jill was flustered when Cane approached them at Crimson Lights. After, Cane came to the boutique, where Amber introduced him to Lauren. Jill and Kay then arrived and tried to act happy as they congratulated the newlyweds. Amber announced that they're having a party and invited the ladies. Lauren offered to plan it for her. Amber told them how Cane's been trying to find his birth mother. Later, Cane chatted with Lauren about his Vegas adventure ("Fig Newton, love him!" he joked). Amber got a call from the photo lab, but lied to Cane that it was immigration; they'd have to be married for at least three years for him to be legal, she told him. She offered to move with him to Australia.... At Crimson Lights, Kay again urged Jill to tell Cane the truth. Cane and Amber then again bumped into them. Amber told them she's leaving town.

David met up with Jack in the Newman kitchen area and began firing campaign ideas at Jack. Jack was more concerned about getting news on Colleen.

In the hospital, Brad and Victoria sat by Colleen's bedside. Brad insisted on staying until she awakened.

Neil tried to track down the Carmen look-alike. After, Neil and Lily visited a hysterical Drucilla in the psych ward. Neil reminded her that it's their wedding anniversary and gave her a book of Shakespeare sonnets. He was determined to find "Carmen."

At the coffeehouse, Michael and Gloria warned Kevin to stay away from Colleen. "I swear, I will hog-tie you if I need to," Michael threatened. After, the three tried to determine where Jana might've gone. Kevin recalled that Jana liked to take pictures and always took the film to the same drugstore. Kevin went to investigate. He ended up ignoring Michael's orders and stopping by the hospital to see Colleen. Victoria threatened to call security and warned Kevin that he's going to get what's coming to him.

J.T., Kevin, Michael and Gloria met at the coffeehouse and tried to figure out how to find Jana. Michael left to deal with Dru's case, informing Kevin that if it works out, it could help him, as well. After Gloria left to watch Fenmore, J.T. taunted Kevin.

Meanwhile, Neil questioned David about "Carmen," but Chow said he didn't know anything. In fact, David got angry and upset at the idea that Neil believed there was a Carmen impersonator out there. Later, David scolded "Carmen" for letting Neil see her. Back at "Dru, Interrupted," Dru sadly sat in her room and read through the sonnets Neil gave her.

Traci arrived and joined Jack as they sat with Colleen. Later, Jack and Victoria bonded in the waiting room as she recalled what a good stepdad he'd been to her and Nick back when he'd been married to Nikki... In Colleen's room, Traci lamented being so far away from her daughter. "Why is it that every time I come home, it's for something really bad?" she cried. Jack informed her that Colleen's going to be moving in with him and invited Traci to join them. Back in the waiting room, Victoria tried to comfort Traci when she broke down. Meantime, the doctors tried to get Coll to breathe on her own. She opened her eyes, but began to convulse. Brad pleaded with her to breathe. She did, to everyone's relief. "It was Jana. Kevin saved me," she whispered. Too little, too late. After spying an incriminating tape of Kevin, which Jana had obviously set up, J.T. bashed Kevin over the head, knocking him out.

Phyllis and Nicholas met up in the Newman elevator and chatted about how Lauren and Michael won't be invited to their wedding.

Jack suggested that Victor run for office, now that Senator Bodi is gone. Victor and Nikki quickly nixed the idea; Vic stated that Jack should run for office instead. After, Jack and Phyllis ran into each other in the office kitchen. Jack admitted that Victor is the main reason he and Phyllis were driven apart. Phyllis wondered what he's trying to get from Victor; Jack explained that he now admires those traits in Newman which he used to resent. Phyll then gushed about Summer and invited Jack to the wedding. He was surprised, but accepted. "I'll make sure you catch the bouquet — or the garter," she joked.

Nick read a newspaper story about Victor's adventures in the Czech Republic and confronted his parents over not filling him in. Victor, in turn, scolded Nick for shirking his responsibilities — namely his marriage to Sharon. This devolved into an argument about Nick's work at Newman. Nick couldn't believe that Victor would trust Jack over him. After, Sharon ran into a mopey Nick, who complained to her about his father. He invited her to the wedding and she agreed to think about it.

Michael visited Kevin in jail. Kevin was anxious to get out and was concerned about Colleen. He wish he'd been hurt in the fire instead. Kev also wished he'd had a "normal, lousy girlfriend." Kevin worried that Michael thought he was the killer, but Michael assured his brother that he believes in his innocence.

Neil and Devon went to see Drucilla in the psych and told her how he saw "Carmen" getting into the elevator. Devon reported that the charges against him have also been dropped. Dru was excited to be released, but the family was told she needs to stay there for 72 hours because her admission had been changed to involuntary. The guys went to see her shrink, Dr. Lynch, but the doc explained that they believed Dru had the potential to be violent. Neil informed him that he also saw Carmen's look-alike, but Dr. Lynch thought Neil was just having "second thoughts" about Dru. Lynch then explained that it was now up to the court to release her. Later, Neil called Michael for help.

Meanwhile, a fellow patient, Mary, tried to befriend Dru, though Dru was confident she'd soon be let out. Mary warned her about the ward's own version of Nurse Ratched.

At the coffeehouse, David asked Sharon for a particular section of her newspaper. David was surprised that Kevin had been arrested for Carmen's murder. Sharon then blabbed about how Dru went to the psych ward.

Unbeknownst to Jack, Victor hired David to be Jack's campaign manager.... Jack got a visit from Ghost John, who lectured him about chasing everyone in his life away. Ghost John advised him to do something that's genuinely good for other people. After, David offered to work on his campaign with him.... At Newman, Phyllis and Michael again argued over him keeping Sheila's imprisonment secret from her. After, she and Nick discussed how good their life together is.... Jack and Sharon planned to attend the wedding together. He told Sharon and Victor that he'd like to run for senate after all.

Devon went to see Kevin in jail and chewed him out for letting him take the heat for Carmen's murder.... Neil and Michael met up in the Newman office kitchen. Neil reported how he saw the Carmen look-alike. Neil explained that he doesn't think it's really her, but Michael wondered if Mesta's alive. Michael agreed to help him find her and advised him to tell Dru to be on her best behavior. Later, Michael got Kevin released on bail.

In the psych ward, Non-Nurse Ratched tried to give Mary her meds, but Mary didn't want to take them. When Dru tried to intervene, the guards subdued her. Neil and Devon returned to the hospital and learned Dru had been given a "time out." Cut to a drugged-up Dru, who was strapped to a bed in a straitjacket.

Devon, Lily and Daniel hung out at Crimson Lights. They were concerned about Drucilla's mental health. Daniel was surprised that Devon and Lily thought Kevin really did kill Carmen. Will Bardwell soon came by and closed down the coffeehouse so they could search the place.

At the station, Gloria and Michael met with Kevin. Glo was confident that the police would find Jana. Michael and Gloria went to the coffeehouse and demanded to be present for the search.

Meanwhile, Dru planned to set up surveillance cameras around their home. The kids came home and were warned by Neil that it's been a "rough morning." Dru asked them where she should put the cameras. When her family argued with her about what she's doing, Dru began to lose it. She flung a camera and a shard hit Lily in the head, cutting her. Dru was horrified by what she'd done. She tried to approach he daughter, but Lily told her to back off. Devon and Daniel took Lily to the hospital.

At the hospital, Brad sat vigil by an unconscious Colleen. J.T., Jack and Sharon joined him. J.T. was devastated that there was no change in her condition. Being in the hospital brought back bad memories for Jack, having recently dealt with John's death. Sharon urged Brad to eat something so he could keep up his strength for Colleen. She hugged him just as Victoria came by. After, Adrian came by with flowers. Brad promised to call Korbel if and when Colleen woke up. Victoria stared daggers at Sharon and subtly hinted that she leave.... Adrian sat with Colleen and told her he loves her.... Jack informed Brad that Traci's visiting Ashley and Billy in Hong Kong, but is heading to Genoa City ASAP.... Victoria huffily stepped out. She went to see Colleen and was surprised to find Adrian there. Vicky noted how much Korbel seems to care for her stepdaughter.

Daniel visited Kevin in jail. Kevin blamed himself for Colleen's condition. Daniel tried to lighten the mood by joking about Kevin's prison uniform.... J.T. went to Crimson Lights to join in the investigation and questioned Michael. Michael reported that Jana told Kevin she'd put her own blood by the lake to fake a death. J.T. snarked that Kevin's been reading too much of a certain author. Glo urged Bardwell to lay off Kevin, but he refused, declaring the coffeehouse a crime scene. After, Michael and Gloria returned to Kevin and informed him that the evidence against him is looking bad.... Lily was thrilled when Devon was let off the hook for Carmen's murder, but Daniel was upset that this meant Kevin was being charged.

J.T. returned to the hospital and sat with Victoria. She confided in him how upset she's been getting whenever he turns to Sharon.... The doctor informed Brad that Colleen's condition is stable, but not improving. They hoped she'd soon be breathing on her own.

Neil convinced Dru to commit herself. As he led her into the hospital's psych ward, she encountered a sympathetic Sharon. Dru was in tears as she bid Neil good-bye. At home, Neil went to dump the trash ... and spied a woman who looked suspiciously like Carmen heading onto the elevator. Dun Dun DUN!

Katherine questioned Jill about a business-related item, but Jill brushed her off. Jill told Kay that even though they found Cane, she isn't ready to forgive Kay for giving away her child. Kay urged her to concentrate on reuniting with her son. JiMin paid Jill a visit. Thinking she was sick, he brought her Korean soup. She explained that she was dealing with family problems, but invited him to stay. Jill took what seemed to be an important phone call.... Kay got right into JiMin's business and questioned him about his romantic life. JiMin revealed that he's a bachelor. Kay was surprised when Esther informed her that Jill had left without saying good-bye. "Jill being rude? Imagine that," sniffed Esther.

"Newlyweds" Amber and Cane returned from Las Vegas. When she suggested moving in, Cane complained that his place was too small; he especially didn't like her suggestions to add pink and purple décor. He began to dump her, but she just laughed, explaining that she was only kidding about moving in and knows their union is in name only. She and Cane planned to deal with immigration so they could prove their marriage is real. In order to "practice," Amber suggested they rent a movie. She then fired off a bunch of questions at him in order to get to know him better: Favorite color (red), favorite kind of peanut butter (chunky), favorite movie actress (Nicole Kidman, "of course"). They kissed. Later, Jill went to see Cane. Jill was surprised to see Amber emerge wearing nothing but a towel. She was even more shocked when Amber informed her that she and Cane are married. "Congratulations," Jill managed to choke out. With Amber there, Jill decided not to talk with Cane about being her son and pretended that she just wanted to hire him to bartend for a party. Still, Cane suspected that Jill had more important things on her mind.... Jill returned home and admitted to Kay that though she saw Cane, she didn't tell him she's his mother. Kay was stunned when Jill revealed that Amber is her new daughter-in-law.... Cane invited Amber to stay the night, but she turned him down.

At the Winters' home, Drucilla vowed to prove that Carmen was alive. Neil reminded her that a DNA test was done on Carmen's body; Dru didn't care and was still confident that she'd seen Carmen. David then stopped by to see Neil on business and spied the video equipment Dru had set up to catch Carmen in action. Dru went crazy when she saw Chow in her home. Dru then wanted to speak with Colleen, but Lily and Daniel told her that Coll is still unconscious. This just set off Dru even more. Lily was concerned about her mom's mental health. Later, Dru noticed that her plant and camera had been moved. She blamed David for it. When the gang didn't believe her, she began shrieking, "I'm not crazy!"

Nicholas called Brad and learned that Colleen still hadn't awakened. Phyllis felt badly for Brad. She and Nick then noted that both babies are finally sleeping. He declared that Summer is a better baby than Fenmore. Michael and Lauren arrived to pick up their son. Michael revealed that Kevin was released from the hospital, but was then arrested for Carmen's murder. The good news? At least Kev was given a private cell, thanks to Michael's connections. After, Phyllis shared that she and Nick planned to re-wed, making their union legal in Wisconsin. They asked the Baldwins to stand up for them, which they happily accepted. "You'd look real interesting in a dress, Baldwin," cracked Nick. "I have the waist for it," replied Michael. The four toasted to "Wedding No. 2." Phyllis also toasted to being alive after dealing with Sheila and thanked Lauren for saving her life. Later, when the Newmans went to check on the babies, Lauren and Michael debated telling them the truth about their involvement in keeping Sheila captive.... Phyllis continued to be haunted by her encounter with Sheila and recalled Sheila saying that Michael had kept her captive. "Did you know Sheila was alive?" Nick demanded to know. The Baldwins 'fessed up their involvement to a furious Nick and Phyllis. Phyll was livid that they hadn't told her earlier and wondered what would've happened had Lauren mixed up her and Sheila and shot Phyllis instead. Lauren insisted that she wouldn't have confused them. She apologized, but the Newmans wouldn't hear it. Phyllis disinvited them to the wedding and kicked them out.
