Y&R Recaps Week of July 2, 2007

Friday, July 6, 2007
Michael came home, screaming for Lauren, but found Paul there, too. "Kevin is gone," Michael glumly informed them. Meanwhile, Colleen filled in Daniel about Kevin's disappearance, but Daniel didn't think it was a good idea for her to get involved in Kevin's scheme. They kept instant messaging Kevin until he accidentally sent back an e-mail meant for Jana; Daniel and Colleen realized Kevin was planning to meet Jana on his own.

Meanwhile, Kevin managed to contact Jana. After, Daniel e-mailed Kevin, telling him not to meet with her. Kevin emailed back, ranting at Daniel and Colleen and imploring them to stay out of it so they don't get hurt. "I can't," Colleen replied, explaining that she's still affected by the ordeal Jana put her and Kevin through. Kevin understood, but ended their conversation when Jana called. "I can't stay away," said Jana. Kevin replied that he has enough money for them to run away together.

Maggie and Paul tracked down Michael at Gloria’s. They wanted to talk about Kevin. Gloria flinched when Maggie came over to say hello to William. Maggie noted that since Will kept blinking it probably meant he was trying to say something, but Glo said it meant that he needed rest.... Paul, Michael and Maggie discovered a travel itinerary in Kevin's files, indicating he booked a flight to Prague. The detectives quickly made calls in an effort to prevent him from boarding. As they worked, Michael and Gloria whispered about finding Kevin before he does something rash.... Will scribbled a note saying "murderer" and dropped it on the floor next to Maggie. Gloria noticed it and went to grab the note, but Maggie reached it before her. "It says 'murderer,' " Detective Sullivan announced.

Jack took a call from a citizen who requested Jack use his political clout to close down a strip club in time for her son-in-law's bachelor party. Sharon tried not to laugh as she overheard his end of the conversation. Nicholas came by, proud that he was able to walk by himself. He told Sharon that he wants to get his life back together. After, Sharon asked Jack if he was okay with Nick attending Noah's baseball game. Jack agreed, as long as Nick didn't act like he was Sharon's husband.

Maggie went to Victor’s office and informed Nikki and Victor that the plane crash wasn't an accident — someone set fire to it. David agreed to help them figure this out, provided Victor not punch him. Vic believed Nikki might have been a target. She panicked when Victor insinuated that the Mafia was involved due to the video she and David posted allegedly linking Jack to them. Victor then filled in Jack and Sharon, who were both horrified. Nikki suggested that Jack might have been the target. Jack argued that perhaps the culprits were going after Victor. Victor then reasoned why Sharon may have been the intended victim. Newman was determined to get to the bottom of the sabotage, but requested that they not mention anything to Nick about it. Alone, Sharon admitted to Victor how concerned she is about Nick's "new" relationship with her.

Nick visited Phyllis. She was thrilled to see him, though visibly nervous. He happily reported that his leg is improving, thanks to Logan's help. "You've lost a lot of weight," she noted, attempting to make small talk. "It's the 'Get lost in the woods diet,' " he cracked. She reminded him how much fun they had together, and he asked her to tell him what they have in common. When she mentioned their favorite video game, he wanted to play. Soon, they actually began to relax and have a good time. When they took a break, Phyllis brought Summer over and relayed how she had the baby leave a message for Nick, saying "Dada." Nick was touched, and even gave his daughter a kiss on top of her head. They tried to get her to say "Dada" again, to no avail; Nick suggested Phyllis see if she saved the message on her voicemail. There was a message from Victor wishing Nick a safe flight, and then Summer's "Dada" message. Both Nick and Phyllis began to tear up as they listened to it. However, the third message was from Michael about Phyllis's extortion trial. Nick wanted to know what happened; Phyllis was completely honest as she told him about Brad and Sharon's affair and how she used that to blackmail Brad into voting for Clear Springs. Nick was devastated to hear about Sharon and Brad's night together. He also didn't approve of Phyllis's behavior, though he understood why she did what she did. Later, Nick met up with Sharon so they could attend Noah's game. "Are you and Brad sleeping together?" he asked quietly.

What was the name of Nick and Phyllis's favorite video game?

At the coffeehouse, Amber suggested she and Cane leave so they could spend the day together. However, he was still angry with her for lying about bailing Daniel out of jail. She thought he was blowing it out of proportion. Cane pointed out that she was helping a married man cover up being at a strip club. She promised not to help Daniel any more. After, Cane subtly questioned Lauren about Amber's life in Los Angeles. Lauren filled him in on Amber's connections to the Forrester family, specifically Brooke. When she got up to tend to Fen, Cane wrote down Brooke's name and number.

After spending the night together, Daniel and Lily playfully wrestled on the couch. As soon as she left for class, he left a message for Amber. After, he went to see his therapist and informed her of his arrest. She asked him if he's figured out when his interest in porn began; he explained that it started when his friend sent him a link to a provocative Web site. "I wish I never met this person," he lamented. The therapist pointed out that Amber didn't force Daniel to go online or go to the strip club. Daniel replied that he wants Amber out of his life, but at the same time, feels he needs her help. The shrink declared Daniel an addict and urged him to come clean to Lily about the arrest. Later, Daniel told Amber he needs some of the money they buried, but she said that Kevin wouldn't let them take it. She informed Daniel that Cane now knows about the arrest because he found the bail receipt.... Cane called Brooke in L.A. and asked her for information about Amber. Brooke told him that Amber is her former daughter-in-law, having been wed to her son Rick. Cane explained that he and Amber are newlyweds, but that he doesn't know much about his wife. Brooke warned him that Amber has a history of being dishonest.

Jana called Kevin at the hospital and was relieved to hear his voice. She asked to see him. "I'd kill to be able to see you," he told her. She apologized for trying to kill him, explaining that she got caught up in a "crazy plan." He got her off the phone when Gloria and Michael arrived, lying that he was speaking with Colleen. Michael accused Kevin of having bad judgment. When Michael stepped out, Kevin asked Glo for his gun. She was appalled that he owned one. Kevin asked her to calm down and told her where to find it. Gloria wanted to throw away the weapon; he reminded her how he'd helped her cover up in the Jabot moisturizer case. She urged him not to do something "stupid." "Sometimes you two just scare the hell out of me," interjected Michael when he returned. Kevin tried to get rid of his mom by reminding her that she had to pick up a prescription for William, but she said it was being delivered. He then asked to speak with Michael alone. Michael lectured Kevin about the decisions Kevin has made, reminding his brother how he worked to redeem himself. Kevin declared that Michael was "lucky" to meet Lauren; Michael replied that he worked to make himself worthy, "or at least a little less unworthy" of his wife.... Jana searched a map of Wisconsin online.

At the GCAC, Colleen was all thumbs as she spilled a customer's coffee. She confided in Lily about her fight with Adrian over the Jana situation. Lily warned her that she and Kevin could be putting themselves in danger. Colleen explained how she still has nightmares about Jana. Lily admitted that she still doesn't entirely trust Daniel.... Adrian implored Maggie to protect Colleen.... Later, Maggie visited Kevin and he insisted that he hadn't staged his accident. She made like she believed him, but reminded him to be careful when dealing with Jana — and to not do something that could get himself into trouble.... Adrian apologized to Colleen. She appreciated him worrying about her.... Daniel lied to Lily that his therapist said he "turned a major corner."

Gloria told Michael that Kevin wanted his gun. Michael then arrived at the hospital with the gun and reamed out his brother. Kevin demanded Michael give it to him, but Baldwin refused. As Michael left, Jana called and said she wants to see Kevin. He said it might be better if he comes to see her. Later, Michael returned to the hospital and found Kevin missing. Also missing? The gun, which Michael had accidentally left behind. Uh-oh.

Logan, Jack and Sharon helped Nicholas settle into his and Sharon's old home. Logan noticed the photo of Cassie and said that she was beautiful. Nick flashed back to when he carried Sharon into their home after their wedding. "It still feels like home," he stated, as he recalled Cassie asking him to help her get her learner's permit. Nick regretted not teaching his daughter how to drive; Sharon assured him that Cassie's death wasn't his fault. He was excited to spend the night with Noah, but disappointed that he didn't know what Noah's new favorite video game is. Nick then thanked Jack for looking after Sharon and Noah — though he referred to Sharon as "my wife." Jack didn't seem to notice, saying that he couldn't be any happier with Sharon. As the gang overheard fireworks going off, Nick had another memory of teaching Sharon how to properly use the grill. Later, Nick and Logan bonded over both having lost children. Nick was appalled at the way he'd apparently acted and wished he'd behaved differently. Logan assured him that he's a good guy.... Sharon and Jack went for a drive. She felt guilty for Nick's situation. Jack reminded her that Nick has a family in Phyllis, Noah and Summer.... Logan helped Nick take his meds. He wanted to pay her for her services, but she refused. As he searched for a pen, he found the first ring he'd given Sharon. "I don't care what's happened the last two years," he told Logan. "I'm gonna win her back."

At the hospital, Gloria scolded Kevin for faking his car accident. He retorted that Glo had faked a DNA test in order to protect herself. "That was different," she argued. Kevin still hoped his injuries would compel Jana to come to Genoa City, and he implored his mother to help him. Meanwhile, Adrian was angry with Colleen for helping out Kevin, fearing that Jana might hurt her. Korbel told Kevin to leave Colleen out of his plan, but when Jana called, Coll answered the phone and told her that Kevin is on his "death bed." After, the doctor informed Gloria that Kevin is improving, though he's not entirely out of the woods. Kevin didn't care; he asked the group to help track Jana for him. Adrian was horrified upon learning that Colleen took a picture of Kevin's car wreck with her cell phone. She admitted that she hadn't merely come by the scene and had actually helped Kevin stage the accident. Later, Jana called Gloria to ask about Kevin. Jana didn't believe he was really there, but realized it was true when she overheard the hospital intercom over Glo's phone. Gloria blamed Jana for the wreck. Kevin was pleased when Gloria informed him of the call. When Adrian stormed out, Kevin feared he went to the cops; Colleen didn't believe that her boyfriend would betray her like that.

Amber lied to Cane about having helped out Daniel, claiming she was helping a friend who'd locked herself out of her car. Cane noted that he never heard of this friend before. After, they began to have sex in her car, but the mood was ruined when he found the bail ticket for Daniel. Realizing she was cornered, Amber admitted that she helped Daniel and had lied about it to Cane since he didn't want them to be friends. She denied that anything was going on between her and Daniel. Cane was more upset with her for lying to him.

Daniel and Lily were happy to be back home together. He apologized for being an "idiot," while she admitted she missed him. He promised to be a better husband and they kissed. Pretty soon, their kisses became more passionate. However, when he went upstairs to shower, she took a peek at his laptop to see if there was porn on it. He caught her, but understood why she did it, vowing to make her trust him again.

At the GCAC, Paul suggested to Maggie that they take a romantic trip to Prague. She concluded that he really wanted to go there to investigate Jana. Later, Adrian found them and filled them in on the Jana situation. The cops made a beeline for the hospital and questioned Kevin. Kevin suddenly began to hyperventilate. Gloria blamed Paul and Maggie for upsetting her son, and demanded that they quit harassing him. Paul feared what Kevin might do in order to get revenge on Jana. A livid Colleen sent Korbel home. Jana then called Colleen, who instructed her to view the photo of the accident online. Jana did and was horrified. And the show ended with a four-way split screen of Jana sitting with her mouth hanging open; Kevin resting in bed; Colleen looking pensive and Adrian looking angry.

After his car "accident," Kevin was taken to the hospital. Colleen freaked out, but Kevin was alert enough to instruct her to take a picture for Jana.

Gloria tended to William and tried to help him regain his speech. When he scrawled out a note urging her to confess about the Jabot moisturizer case, she told him not to be "dramatic." Michael and Lauren feared what would happen if Will made a full recovery. After, they received a call from Colleen about Kevin. Michael and Gloria rushed to the hospital, leaving Lauren alone with Will.

After Amber bailed out Daniel from being arrested, Lily called him. He fibbed that his "seminar" went well and that he'd be home soon. After he hung up, he regretted having to lie to his wife.

At the hospital, Sharon brought Nicholas another one of the milkshakes he likes and they discussed Noah. Nick was surprised to hear Noah had a new best friend, Sam. However, Nick hadn't forgotten the taste of the shake! Logan arrived and the women helped Nick out of bed so they could get him home. When he leaned in to kiss Sharon, she reminded him that she's married. He joked about moving in with her and Jack. "How's it being Mrs. Senator Jack Abbott?" he asked. "It's good," she replied, but admitted that she has to be careful about what she does in public. He was disappointed that Noah was no longer living in the ranch, but Sharon shared how great Jack is with their son. Overwhelmed, Nick fell asleep.

Victor received a call from Detective Sullivan saying that she had news about the plane crash. She informed him that the plane apparently caught on fire, but there had been no distress call. Maggie wanted to question Nick, but Victor urged her not to.

Phyllis was prepared to care for Nick, but Nikki planned for him to come home with his parents. Phyllis was determined to get Nick to remember her, but Nikki didn't think being with a wife whom he didn't recall would be good for him. Phyllis wasn't deterred and went in to visit her husband. She invited him to move in, offering to sleep in Summer's room. He couldn't see himself living with her, but she explained that it might jog his memory. "I can't fix something that I don't feel," he told her.

At the hospital, the doctors told Gloria and Michael that Kevin is stable. Despite her upset, Glo still corrected the doc when he called her "Mrs. Fisher." "It's Bardwell," she stated. The medic warned that Kevin is still not out of the woods. Gloria began to freak out. "I can't lose my baby," she cried. After, she visited a very banged-up Kevin. Michael informed his brother that he bruised his pancreas. "Who needs a pancreas, anyway?" Kevin joked, lying that he crashed when he was talking on his cell phone. "I'm an idiot," he stated. "They should write that on my tombstone."... Colleen and Adrian came to see him. Korbel noted that he'd bruised his pancreas as a kid. After he left, Coll promised Kevin that she'd make sure Jana saw the cell phone picture. Lily arrived and wondered who she was sending it to; Coll lied that she was sending it to Kevin's insurance company.... Adrian noted that she saved Kevin's life after he saved hers. He wondered why he was out driving with Kevin, but she didn't answer.... Daniel and Amber received word of the crash. At the hospital, Daniel met up with Lily and made up some details about his "seminar." They agreed that they'd missed each other, and Lily invited him to move back home. Daniel eagerly accepted.

Phyllis told Michael that Nikki wants Nick to live with her and Victor. He thought that might be the best thing for Nick, but Phyllis wanted her husband to be home with her. Michael then filled her in on Kevin's condition; she tried to be optimistic but also realistic about it. After Phyllis watched as Sharon arrived at the hospital and shared a friendly hug with Victor. Vic encouraged Sharon to go home to Jack. "Part of me feels guilty for remarrying," she admitted. Victor reminded her that Nick is no longer her responsibility.... Nick was eager to go home, but Logan told him he still needs to heal. He joked about everyone fighting over who gets him. She wasn't amused. "You have no idea what it's like to find out your life has totally changed," he said, imploring her to help him. Nikki also didn't think Nick was ready to live, but he reported that the hospital said he could go. Logan offered to care for him; Nikki and Phyllis were both willing to house him. Instead, Nick suggested that he move into his and Sharon's old place with Logan.

Maggie and Paul paid William and Lauren a visit. Paul noted how on edge Lauren seemed. He wondered when Will is starting speech therapy, but Lauren evaded the question. Maggie suggested that they have Will write something down. Later, Michael returned home from the hospital. Lauren showed him the note William wrote to her, saying "You know."

Gloria questioned Kevin about his crash. He admitted that he got into the accident on purpose.... Colleen sent a picture of the accident to the paper. She told Lily how Kevin had staged the whole thing. Adrian overheard — and was not happy.

Victor reported to Nikki that there may have been sabotage involved in the plane crash.

Kevin plotted to bring Jana back to Genoa City. Colleen wasn't so sure Jana would come back, but agreed to help him out by calling Jana and pretending that Kevin was taken to the hospital. Kev was disappointed when Colleen got a message saying that Jana's cell phone number wasn't connected. Later, Jana called him, but hung up when he was cold to her. Great way to keep her talking, Kevin. Kevin's next plan of attack was to get himself injured enough that he makes the news. "Why don't you just inject yourself with the Ebola virus?" Colleen cracked. "A couple of swings with a baseball bat?" he requested from her. Colleen refused, but Kevin was determined to get revenge on Jana. Colleen agreed that Jana is their problem. Later, Kevin came up with the brilliant plan to stage a car accident.

At the boutique, Amber was surprised to see Lily working the same shift as her. Lily explained that their co-worker had the flu and she was covering. A happy Amber informed Lily that a music producer is interested in her. Lily didn't care. Amber again denied sending the photo of her breasts to Daniel, but Lily didn't want to hear it. However, the young ladies actually bonded while dealing with a fussy customer.

At the hospital waiting room, Nikki awakened from a nap and found Victor also there. David called and she informed him that Nick is improving. Victor was annoyed with her for taking Chow's call in front of him. After, the Newmans visited Nick. "The things you'll do for attention," joked Victor. Nick was grateful to them for spending the night. His parents were just happy to have their son back.

Phyllis confided in Daniel about how Nicholas doesn't remember the past two years of his life. She had hope that Nick would soon regain his memory. After, she went to visit Nick and apologized for getting upset in front of him. He understood, though he admitted that her attempts to help him get his memory back were "intense." She then presented him with a photo album filled with pictures of them, and filled him in on stories of their shared past and the town gossip. Nick didn't recall anything recent, including when he rescued Daniel from the car crash. "What was it like between us?" he asked her. "It was amazing," she said quietly. "There was a lot of laughter and a lot of sex." Nick felt bad for what Phyllis was going through, but asked her to leave so he could get some rest. After, he admitted to Victor that he's uncomfortable being around her because she wants him to remember so badly and he can't. Nick also didn't understand how he could've let his marriage to Sharon fall apart. Victor filled him in on how he and Phyllis got to know each other after Cassie's accident. Nick was disappointed in the way he'd acted. Vic noted that losing a child can be a huge strain on a marriage. Later, Logan stopped by and was warmly greeted by both men. Victor invited to put her up at the GCAC. Logan joked that she's missed Nick's whining. Nick asked her to tell him more about her family, but she wasn't ready to.

Nikki and David discussed what to do with the leftover campaign money. David wondered where their relationship was going with Victor back in town. Nikki stated that she and David don't have a relationship and that she wants to concentrate on her son. David replied that he began to fall in love with Nikki back when he was working for Jack and started researching her. How, um, romantic? Nikki reminded him that she's married, but David believed she'd be happier with him.

Phyllis, Nikki, Victor and Logan convened in the hospital waiting room. Phyllis half-heartedly tried to joke around as she asked whether Nick had called out for her. The Newmans weren't amused. Phyllis concluded that they thought she deserved this, but they stated that they're only thinking about Nick.

Daniel, wearing a plaid suit and loud blue shirt, called Lily from a strip club. When Lily overheard the noise and asked where he was, he lied that he was at a trade show. After, a stripper came over to him and he lied that his name was Mark. She worried that he wasn't old enough to be there, but was willing to overlook it if he bought her a drink.... Phyllis stopped by the boutique and told Lily about Nick's memory loss. Lily felt badly that Nick couldn't remember his and Daniel's friendship.... Daniel chatted with the stripper at the club. A cop then came in and demanded ID from everyone. "If you're 21, I'm Shrek," said the officer. Daniel refused to hand over his ID; the cop then arrested him. Desperate, he called Amber, who lied to Lily that a friend got locked out of her car. Lily agreed to cover. Amber then went to bail out Daniel. He hoped he'd find a way to keep the arrest secret from Lily.

Kevin purposefully drove his car into a tree. Colleen looked on, screaming.
