He continued to pursue theater and won the New Jersey ACT awards for outstanding lead male actor in Italian American Reconciliation and Lusting After Pipino's Wife. He then joined the Broadway National Touring Company as Tony in as Tony N Tina's Wedding. Marmo moved to Los Angeles, where he landed the role of Moof in Deuces Wild. Telling friends he had just 68 cents left in the bank, Marmo started The 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company, where he has produced, directed and/or starred in numerous plays. Marmo landed more film work, and after small appearances on Y&R and GH, finally found a home in Port Charles in 2009 as Dante's partner, Ronnie, at the PCPD.
