Born in Downey, CA, the 5-feet-7-inch David Lago joined Y&R in August 1999, and received four Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Younger Actor, in 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2004. He also received two nominations for Young Artist Awards, winning Best Performance in a Soap Opera: Young Actor in 2000. Lago's first TV appearance was at 16 in a commercial for Skittles. Besides tackling roles in television and in film, Lago is a drummer in the L.A.-based band Killing Darla. When not working, he enjoys reading, going to the movies and writing screenplays.
