The 411
Lawrence Saint-Victor was born in Rockland County, N.Y., and grew up in Spring Valley, N.Y. He attended the Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film at SUNY Purchase, where he received his B.F.A. in acting. As a student, he played in Six Degrees of Separation and Shakespeare's A Winter’s Tale. He won the part of Remy Boudreau on GUIDING LIGHT shortly before finishing his studies. He had previously read for another role, and was surprised and thankful when he received a call a year later to take on the part of Remy. In the two-and-a-half years he's been with the show, Saint-Victor often credits the GL cast as being his favorite aspect of the job, noting the amazing talents of fan favorites like Kim Zimmer (Reva) and Michael O'Leary (Rick).
Beyond GL, Saint-Victor has also appeared in LAW & ORDER: SVU and the History Channel's HONOR DEFERRED. In his spare time, Saint-Victor enjoys sports like football, martial arts and swimming. He maintains a strict exercise routine to stay in shape, and in 2007 Soap Opera Digest named him Sexiest Man on GL.

In His Own Words...
"I love Remy’s story with Ava. I enjoy working with Michelle (Ray Smith, Ava) so much. Remy's been such a jaded character, so for him to meet someone who gets him, and is in turn making him a better person, is making him smile again. Later on we'll see how much of a good person he's turning into." — on one of his biggest storylines to date in 2008, to Soap Opera Weekly
"The toughest thing about work is that 7 a.m. call. If you've been called in the afternoon, and then you have to get back up at 7 a.m., if you're not used to it, it can be a challenge." — on the most difficult aspect of day-to-day soap-star life, to Weekly
"You always see something new. I'm always looking forward to hearing from some of these people who have been watching the show for 30 or 40 years. They let me know background story from years before I was even born." — on his favorite part of attending fan events, to Weekly
"We have so much fun on- and off- set. There are times where some of us are done and we still stay there the whole day, just hanging around. It's like college." — on bonding with his GL castmates, to Weekly
