THE 411
Born in Houston, TX, Leven Rambin studied at the Houston School of Film and Theatre and St. Francis Episcopal Day School before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Rambin and her mom Karen left behind her dad and older brother Joe. "Although it was a hard adjustment, it wasn't a hard decision. My parents knew it was the opportunity of a lifetime, you know? A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and they couldn't deny me that. They were willing to make any sacrifices to make it happen," Rambin has said of the move and her parents' devotion. Her first audition in L.A. was for ALL MY CHILDREN, and after three months of waiting, she landed the role of Lily in 2004, at age 13 (her first professional acting role). Rambin and her mom then moved to the East Coast, where she now splits her time between Connecticut and New York. Rambin did so well in her new role that what was supposed to be a six-month stint became a long-term contract, and three years later she is still playing Lily. In the spring of 2007 she took on a dual role, playing Lily's sister Ava as well.
