The 411

Sarah Brown had an eclectic upbringing, living in various combinations with her mother, father and two siblings in cities throughout California. She began her acting career at the prestigious Los Angeles High School for the Performing Arts. On her 19th birthday, while she was a student at Santa Monica College, she was chosen as a series regular for the popular children's adventure show V.R. TROOPERS. Two years later Brown dazzled GENERAL HOSPITAL producers with a fearless performance that won her the role of tortured troublemaker Carly, creating one of daytime's most memorable characters. After leaving daytime to focus on prime time projects and film school, Brown guest-starred on a number of popular shows including, CROSSING JORDAN, STRONG MEDICINE, DRAGNET and WITHOUT A TRACE. She also appeared in the USA movie based on the Scott Peterson case, THE PERFECT HUSBAND, opposite Dean Cain. Brown returned to daytime in the role of AS THE WORLD TURNS' Julia fro 2004-05. She went on to becoming a recurring character, Josie, on COLD CASE, guested on MONK and THE CLOSER and hit the bif screen in Big Momma's House 2. In 2008, she returned to her GH roots, not as Carly but creating the new character of troubled mafia princess Claudia Zacchara. In November 2009, Claudia was killed off GH and Brown headed to BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL as Sandy Sommers that same month.

"I don't have a big ego. I mean, I do, yes, but not in terms of how good I am. Not at all. I mean ego in terms of what I think I'm capable of. And what I expect from myself."
