Scott Holmes was born in West Grove, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Oxford, P.A. He attended Oxford Area High School, where he represented his school in the All-State Choir and All-State Band. He received a B.A. in music and drama from Catawba College in North Carolina where he met his wife, Pamela.
Holmes is an accomplished Broadway performer. He has had roles in Grease, Evita, The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public, The Rink, and Scandal.
Aside from his television and theater careers, he has performed in a critically acclaimed nightclub act, Alone For the First Time. In addition, Holmes can be heard on several of the Broadway shows in which he has performed, as well as on A Soap Opera Christmas CD.
Holmes lives in a farmhouse in New York State with his wife and son.
