Native New Yorker Thom Christopher hails from the Queens neighborhood of Jackson Heights. Known to most soap fans as the golden-voiced villain Carlo Hesser, Christopher is also an accomplished theatrical actor. His training began at the New York City High School of Performing Arts, continuing at Ithaca College and the Neighborhood Playhouse. Science fiction aficionados are also fans of Christopher’s work thanks to his 1981 role as Hawk in the television series BUCK ROGERS.
Christopher lives in Manhattan with his wife and devotes his free time to supporting charitable organizations including Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, where he sits on the Board of Directors, and the New York Special Olympics.
