In 1999, Lucci realized her life-long dream to star on Broadway when she assumed the role of Annie Oakley in a revival of Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun. Lucci was nominated 21 times for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress. After 18 losses, she finally took home the gold in 1999, a feat that earned her a four-minute standing ovation. Other accolades honor her work with children's charities. Lucci supports the Little Flowers Children's Services of New York, a foster-care and adoption service. She also served as the celebrity spokesperson for the March of Dimes' National Ambassador Campaign in 2000. In 1991 Lucci launched her own lines of hair-care and beauty products, accessories, lingerie and perfumes. In 2001, Lucci introduced a complete line of jewelry, shoes, and accessories. She partnered with Guthy-Renker to produce a skin care collection called Youthful Essence by Susan Lucci. Her lingerie line is available on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) and Lucci’s official Web site, www.susanlucci.com.
